| 2 | A nano-cocrystal strategy to improve the dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of baicalein显示文摘Baicalein(BE) is one of the main active flavonoids representing the variety of pharmacological effects including anticancer, anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular protective activities, but it's very low solubility, dissolution rate and poor oral absorption limit the therapeutic applications. In this work, a nano-cocrystal strategy was successfully applied to improve the dissolution rate and bioavailability of BE. Baicalein-nicotinamide(BE-NCT) nanococrystals were prepared by high pressure homogenization and evaluated both in vitro and in vivo. Physical characterization results including scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, powder X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry demonstrated that BE-NCT nano-cocrystals were changed into amorphous state with mean particle size of 251.53 nm. In the dissolution test, the BE-NCT nano-cocrystals performed 2.17-fold and 2.54-fold enhancement than BE coarse powder in FaSSIF-V2 and FaSSGF. Upon oral administration, the integrated AUC0-t of BE-NCT nano-cocrystals(6.02-fold) was significantly higher than BE coarse powder(1-fold), BE-NCT cocrystals(2.87-fold) and BE nanocrystals(3.32-fold). | 3 | Improved quantum bacterial foraging algorithm for tuning parameters of fractional-order PID controller显示文摘The quantum bacterial foraging optimization(QBFO)algorithm has the characteristics of strong robustness and global searching ability. In the classical QBFO algorithm, the rotation angle updated by the rotation gate is discrete and constant,which cannot affect the situation of the solution space and limit the diversity of bacterial population. In this paper, an improved QBFO(IQBFO) algorithm is proposed, which can adaptively make the quantum rotation angle continuously updated and enhance the global search ability. In the initialization process, the modified probability of the optimal rotation angle is introduced to avoid the existence of invariant solutions. The modified operator of probability amplitude is adopted to further increase the population diversity.The tests based on benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, compared with the integerorder PID controller, the fractional-order proportion integration differentiation(PID) controller increases the complexity of the system with better flexibility and robustness. Thus the fractional-order PID controller is applied to the servo system. | 5 | Experimental investigation on impact performances of GLARE laminates显示文摘An experimental investigation was carried out on the damage resistance to a concentrated quasi-static indentation force and low-velocity impact of four kinds of glass-reinforced aluminum laminates(GLARE for short). Compared with the experimental results of the CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) laminates, the performance of GLARE was determined. By means of concentrated quasi-static indentation force test, typical force–displacement response,the maximum contact force and dent depth were received. Through drop-weight low-velocity impact tests, impact force histories, indentation depths(through a new method) and dissipated energy were obtained. The test results show that the force–displacement response of GLARE 4laminates under the concentrated quasi-static indentation force has an obvious flat roof and the failure is instantaneous, which are different from CFRP laminates. The indention will be visible once the impact happens. C-scan results find that there is no delamination besides the impact area after both the concentrated quasi-static indentation and low-velocity impact. | 8 | Study of penetration mechanism of labrasol on rabbit cornea by Ussing chamber, RT-PCR assay, Western blot and immunohistochemistry显示文摘Labrasol, as a non-ionic surfactant, can enhance the permeation and absorption of drugs, and is extensively used in topical, transdermal, and oral pharmaceutical preparations as an emulsifier and absorption enhancer. Recent studies in our laboratory have indicated that labrasol has a strong absorption enhancing effect on different types of drugs in vitro and in vivo. This study was performed to further elucidate the action mechanism of labrasol on the corneal penetration. In this research, the fluorescein sodium, a marker of passive paracellular transport of tight junction, was selected as the model drug to assess the effect of labrasol on in vitro corneal permeability. To investigate the continuous and real-time influence of labrasol on the membrane permeability and integrity, the Ussing chamber system was applied to monitor the electrophysiological parameters. And, furthermore, we elucidated the effect of labrasol on excised cornea at the molecular level by application of RT-PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemical staining. | 9 | Change of Cytokines in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients and HBeAg are Positively Correlated with HBV RNA, Based on Real-world Study显示文摘Background and Aims:The natural course of chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is widely studied;however,follow-up studies of the same patients are scanty.Here,we studied the dynamic changes of serum HBV RNA and cytokines in hepatitis B virus e antigen(HBeAg)-positive patients treated with entecavir(ETV)to explore the relationship between the HBV serum viral nucleic acids and host immunity.Methods:Thirty-three chronic hepatitis B patients who are HBeAg-positive,with high virus load(HBV DNA>20,000 IU/mL),and received standard nucleos(t)ide analogue(NA)antiviral therapy(ETV)for more than 48 weeks were included.The serum levels of HBV nucleic acids and selected cytokines were measured at 0,12,24,and 48 weeks respectively.Results:Serum HBV RNA could still be detected while serum HBV DNA had fallen below the detection limit in patients treated with ETV.There was a strong positive correlation between HBV RNA and HBeAg,with a concomitant decrease in the secretion of cytokines from type 1 helper T(Th1)/type 2 helper T(Th2)/interleukin(IL)-17 producing T(Th17)cells.IL-4 and IL-10 were the main cytokines negatively associated with serum HBV RNA.Conclusions:HBeAg can be used to reflect the load of HBV RNA indirectly,because serum HBV RNA has not been widely used in clinical practice.Meanwhile,serum IL-4 and IL-10 might be explored in combination with HBV RNA in guiding future clinical antiviral therapy. | Qiqi Zhang Hui Huang Aijun Sun Chunyan Liu Zhidong Wang Feifan Shi Wei Duan Xueying Sun Qi Wang Ping Sun Chunwen Pu Yong Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,3: | 1 |

| 13 | Flow regime changes in three catchments with different landforms following ecological restoration in the Chinese Loess Plateau显示文摘The Chinese Loess Plateau is known as one of the most severe soil erosion regions in the world.Two ecological restoration projects,i.e.,the integrated soil conservation project since the 1970s and the''Grain for Green''project since 1999,have been progressively implemented to control the soil erosion in this area.Ecological restoration has greatly changed flow regime over the past five decades.However,the mechanism of how flow regime responds to ecological restoration among landforms remains poorly understood.In this study,we investigated the temporal dynamics of flow regime in three catchments,i.e.,Wuqi,Honghe and Huangling hydrological stations,respectively representing the loess hilly-gully,loess table-gully and rocky mountain(covered by secondary forest)areas in the Chinese Loess Plateau,using daily hydrological data during the 1960s–2010s.The nonparametric Mann-Kendall test,Pettitt's test and daily flow series were used to investigate the changes of flow regime.Significantly negative trends of annual streamflow were detected at the Wuqi and Honghe stations,except for the Huangling station.The annual baseflow at the Wuqi station showed a significantly positive trend whereas a significantly negative trend was observed at the Honghe station,and there was no significant trend at the Huangling station.It was interesting that baseflow index significantly increased during the whole period in all catchments.However,the trends and change points of daily flow series derived by different percentages of exceedance and extreme series in different consecutive days varied among individuals.Based on the change points analysis of annual streamflow,we divided data series into three periods,i.e.,the baseline period(from 1959 and 1963 to 1979,PI),the integrated soil conservation period(1980–1999,PII)and the''Grain for Green''period(2000–2011,PIII).We found that streamflow decreased due to the reduction of high streamflow(exceeding 5%of time within a year)and median streamflow(50%)in PII and PIII at the Wuqi and Honghe stations.However,low flow(95%)increased in PII and PIII at the Wuqi station while decreased at the Honghe station.Streamflow change at the Huangling station was more stable,thus potentially resulting in much less soil erosion in the forestry area than in the other areas.The great improvement in ecological environment on the Chinese Loess Plateau revealed the advantages of ecological restoration in reducing flood amount and compensating streamflow at a regional scale. | LUO Zhidong LIU Erjia QI Shi ZHAO Nan SUN Yun | 2020 | Journal of Arid Land2020,12,1: | 0 |

| 17 | Adversarial Example Generation Method Based on Sensitive Features显示文摘As deep learning models have made remarkable strides in numerous fields,a variety of adversarial attack methods have emerged to interfere with deep learning models.Adversarial examples apply a minute perturbation to the original image,which is inconceivable to the human but produces a massive error in the deep learning model.Existing attack methods have achieved good results when the network structure is known.However,in the case of unknown network structures,the effectiveness of the attacks still needs to be improved.Therefore,transfer-based attacks are now very popular because of their convenience and practicality,allowing adversarial samples generated on known models to be used in attacks on unknown models.In this paper,we extract sensitive features by Grad-CAM and propose two single-step attacks methods and a multi-step attack method to corrupt sensitive features.In two single-step attacks,one corrupts the features extracted from a single model and the other corrupts the features extracted from multiple models.In multi-step attack,our method improves the existing attack method,thus enhancing the adversarial sample transferability to achieve better results on unknown models.Our method is also validated on CIFAR-10 and MINST,and achieves a 1%-3%improvement in transferability. | WEN Zerui SHEN Zhidong SUN Hui QI Baiwen | 2023 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2023,28,1: | 0 |
