Enhanced CH4 selectivity in CO2 photocatalytic reduction over carbon quantum dots decorated and oxygen doping g-C3N4显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4,CN)exhibits inefficient charge separation, deficient CO2 adsorption and activation sites, and sluggish surface reaction kinetics, which have been recognized as the main barriers to its application in CO2 photocatalytic reduction. In this work, carbon quantum dot(CQD)decoration and oxygen atom doping were applied to CN by a facile one-step hydrothermal method. The incorporated CQDs not only facilitate charge transfer and separation, but also provide alternative CO2 adsorption and activation sites.Further, the oxygen-atom-doped CN(OCN),in which oxygen doping is accompanied by the formation of nitrogen defects, proves to be a sustainable H^+ provider by facilitating the water dissociation and oxidation half-reactions.Because of the synergistic effect of the hybridized binary CQDs/OCN addressing the three challenging issues of the CN based materials, the performance of CO2 photocatalytic conversion to CH4 over CQDs/OCN-x(x represents the volume ratio of laboratory-used H2O2(30 wt.%)in the mixed solution)is dramatically improved by 11 times at least. The hybrid photocatalyst design and mechanism proposed in this work could inspire more rational design and fabrication of effective photocatalysts for CO2 photocatalytic conversion with a high CH4 selectivity. | Qian Li Songcan Wang Zhuxing Sun Qijun Tang Yiqiu Liu Lianzhou Wang Haiqiang Wang Zhongbiao Wu | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,11: | 9

Effects of renal sympathetic denervation on cardiac systolic function after myocardial infarction in rats显示文摘This study investigated the therapeutic effects of renal denervation on cardiac systolic function after myocardial infarction(MI) in rats and the mechanism involved.Fifty male SD rats were randomly assigned to the sham group(n = 15),the MI group(n = 20),and the MI plus renal denervation group(n = 15).MI was established through thoracotomic ligation of the anterior descending artery.Renal denervation was achieved by laparotomic stripping of the renal arterial adventitial sympathetic nerve, approximately 3 mm from the abdominal aorta.Left ventricular function and hemodynamics were measured several weeks following MI.The left ventricular systolic function of the MI group was significantly reduced and the systolic blood pressure(SBP) remarkably declined. In rats with MI treated with renal denervation, the left ventricular ejection fraction(EF),fractional shortening(FS) and SBP markedly improved compared with the MI group. However, heart rate and fibrosis decreased significantly. These findings suggest that renal denervation has therapeutic effects on post-MI cardiac dysfunction. These effects are associated with increased left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and SBP,as well as reduced heart rate and fibrosis. This may represent a new approach to the treatment of post-MI remodeling and subsequent heart failure. | Jiqun Guo Zhongxia Zhou Zhenzhen Li Qian Liu Guoqing Zhu Qijun Shan | 2016 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,5: | 3
A novel strategy for cancer treatment:Targeting cancer stem cells显示文摘Cancer stem cell/tumor-initiating cell (CSC/TIC) is a subclass of cancer cells possessing parts of properties of normal stem cell. It has a high capacity of proliferation and plays a pivotal role in tumor recurrence and tumor resistance to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. At present, small molecule in-hibitors and fusion proteins are widely used in the CSC-targeting strategy. Gene-virotherapy, which uses oncolytic adenovirus as a vector to mediate the expression of therapeutic gene, shows a signifi-cant superiority to other regimens of cancer treatment and has a good efficacy in the treatment of solid tumors. Thus, it is a promising choice to apply gene-virotherapy into the CSC-targeting treatment. Based on the molecular mechanism underlying CSC self-renewal, a series of effective strategies for targeting CSC have been established. This review will summarize the recent research progresses on CSC-targeting treatment. | LIU Jia MA LeiNa WANG YiGang LIU XinYuan QIAN QiJun | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,12: | 2
Scalable manufacturing methodologies for improving adeno-associated virus-based pharmaprojects显示文摘Adeno-associated virus(AAV)is a promising viral vector and meets most requirements of being a safe biological agent. However, the commercialization of AAV has been hampered due to the limitation of large-scale production, and only a small number of clinical trials have been launched. In recent years, progresses in scalable manufacturing of AAV have dramatically improved AAVbased clinical researches, and have assisted the development of investigational drug products. An AAV1-based investigational product,Glybera, has been formally approved by European Commission for the treatment of lipoprotein lipase deficiency(LPLD).Glybera was the first gene therapy product in the western world, and the production process involves a scalable baculovirus-insect cell system. However, many problems still need to be solved to improve the productivity and quality of AAV.The present review gives critical insights into current state-of-the-art scalable producing methodologies of AAV,such as baculovirus-insect cell system,HSV complementation system, and Ad complementation system, along with a discussion on the problems, solutions, and developmental trends.Novel AAV-producing platforms in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and vaccinia virus complementation system will also be discussed. | Zenghui Xu Chuanyin Shi Qijun Qian | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,16: | 2
Monitoring checkpoint inhibitors:predictive biomarkers in immunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy has become the fourth cancer therapy after surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. In particular, immune checkpoint inhibitors are proved to be unprecedentedly in increasing the overall survival rates of patients with refractory cancers, such as advanced melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and renal cell carcinoma. However, inhibitor therapies are only effective in a small proportion of patients with problems, such as side effects and high costs. Therefore, doctors urgently need reliable predictive biomarkers for checkpoint inhibitor therapies to choose the optimal therapies. Here, we review the biomarkers that can serve as potential predictors of the outcomes of immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment, including tumor-specific profiles and tumor microenvironment evaluation and other factors. | Min Zhang Jingwen Yang Wenjing Hua Zhong Li Zenghui Xu Qijun Qian | 2019 | Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,1: | 1

Exome sequencing identifies rare mutations of LDLR and QTRT1 conferring risk for early-onset coronary artery disease in Chinese显示文摘Despite the advances made over the past decades, the known loci for coronary artery disease(CAD)still only explain<20%of the genetic variation in risk[1,2].The known loci with the strongest effects usually confer a 20%-37%increased CAD risk and the most loci modulate risk by≤10%[1].While most of the current data are from European populations, the use of trans-ethnic analyses could be helpful to identify additional loci.Genetic inheritance may impose a high burden on early-onset coronary artery disease(EOCAD). | Kang Yao Yuxiang Dai Juan Shen Yi Wang Huanjie Yang Runda Wu Qijun Liao Hongyi Wu Xiaodong Fang Shalaimaiti Shali Lili Xu Meng Hao Chenhao Lin Zhonghan Sun Yilian Liu Mengxin Li Zhen Wang Qiang Gao Shuning Zhang Chenguang Li Wei Gao Lei Ge Yunzeng Zou Aijun Sun Juying Qian Li Jin Shangyu Hong Yan Zheng Junbo Ge | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,8: | 1
Capsid modification of adeno-associated virus and tumor targeting gene therapy显示文摘Targeting is critical for successful tumor gene therapy. The adeno-associated virus(AAV) has aroused wide concern due to its excellent advantages over other viral vectors in gene therapy.AAV has a broad infection spectrum, which also results in poor specificity towards tissues or cells and low transduction efficiency. Therefore,it is imperative to improve target and transduction efficiency in AAV-mediated gene therapy.Up to now, researchers have developed many strategies to modify AAV capsids for improving targeting or retargeting only desired cells. These strategies include not only traditional chemical modification, phage display technology, modification of AAV capsid genome, chimeric vectors and so on,but also many novel strategies involved in marker rescue strategy, direct evolution of capsid proteins, direct display random peptides on AAV capsid,AAVP(AAV-Phage),and etc. This review will summarize the advances of researches on the capsid modification of AAV to target malignant cells. | XU ZengHu ZHOU XiuMei SHI WenFang QIAN QiJun | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,24: | 0
FAST discovery of an extremely radio-faint millisecond pulsar from the Fermi-LAT unassociated source 3FGL J0318.1+0252显示文摘High sensitivity radio searches of unassociated γ-ray sources have proven to be an effective way of finding new pulsars. Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) during its commissioning phase, we have carried out a number of targeted deep searches of Fermi Large Area Telescope(LAT) γ-ray sources. On February 27, 2018 we discovered an isolated millisecond pulsar(MSP), PSR J0318+0253, coincident with the unassociated γ-ray source 3 FGL J0318.1+0252. PSR J0318+0253 has a spin period of 5.19 ms, a dispersion measure(DM) of 26 pc cm-3 corresponding to a DM distance of about 1.3 kpc, and a period-averaged flux density of(~11±2) μJy at L-band(1.05-1.45 GHz). Among all high energy MSPs, PSR J0318+0253 is the faintest ever detected in radio bands, by a factor of at least ~4 in terms of L-band fluxes. With the aid of the radio ephemeris, an analysis of 9.6 years of Fermi-LAT data revealed that PSR J0318+0253 also displays strong γ-ray pulsations. Follow-up observations carried out by both Arecibo and FAST suggest a likely spectral turn-over around 350 MHz. This is the first result from the collaboration between FAST and the Fermi-LAT teams as well as the first confirmed new MSP discovery by FAST, raising hopes for the detection of many more MSPs. Such discoveries will make a significant contribution to our understanding of the neutron star zoo while potentially contributing to the future detection of gravitational waves, via pulsar timing array(PTA) experiments. | Pei Wang Di Li Colin J.Clark Pablo M.Saz Parkinson Xian Hou Weiwei Zhu Lei Qian Youling Yue Zhichen Pan Zhijie Liu Xuhong Yu Shanping You Xiaoyao Xie Qijun Zhi Hui Zhang Jumei Yao Jun Yan Chengmin Zhang Kwok Lung Fan Paul S.Ray Matthew Kerr David A.Smith Peter F.Michelson Elizabeth C.Ferrara David J.Thompson Zhiqiang Shen Na Wang FAST&Fermi-LAT Collaboration | 2021 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,12: | 0
