| 3 | Sensitivity analysis of fatigue life prediction for deepwater steel lazy wave catenary risers显示文摘Steel lazy wave catenary riser (SLWR) has been an attractive choice for deepwater oil field developments. However, fatigue is a critical issue in assessing the feasibility of applying SLWR to large motion vessels such as floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) or semi-submersibles. In this work, the time-domain fatigue analysis of SLWR was adopted for better representing the structural nonlinearity, fluid load nonlinearity and riser-soil nonlinear interaction. The Palmgren-Miner rule was employed for the fatigue life prediction along the riser length. The main purpose of this analysis is to present sensitivity analyses of SLWR fatigue life under various input parameters, which include the structural damping, the hydrodynamic coefficients along the riser, the seabed stiffness, the vessel motions, etc. The analyses indicated the strong dependence of the riser fatigue life on these parameters. | 4 | Paleogene Tectonic Evolution Controls on Sequence Stratigraphic Patterns in the Central Part of Deepwater Area of Qiongdongnan Basin, Northern South China Sea显示文摘In active rift basins, tectonism is extremely important for sequence stratigraphic patterns, affecting both the sequence architecture and internal makeup. Sequence stratigraphic framework of a Paleogene rift succession in Qiongdongnan Basin, northern South China Sea, was built using seismic profiles, complemented by well logs and cores. One first-order and three second-order sequences were identified on the basis of basin-scale unconformities, and seven third-order sequences are defined by unconformities along the basin margins and correlative conformities within the central basin. Through unconformity analysis and backstripping procedure, the Paleogene synrift tectonic evolution of deepwater area of Qiongdongnan Basin was proved to be episodic, which can be divided into rifting stage-I, rifting stage-II and rifting stage-III. Episodic rifting resulted in the formation of various types of structural slope break belts, which controlled different architectures and internal makeup of sequences. | 6 | A comparative analysis of five global cropland datasets in China显示文摘Accurate information of cropland area and spatial location is critical for studies of national food security, global environmental change, terrestrial ecosystem geophysics and the geochemical cycle. In this paper, we compared five global cropland datasets in circa 2010 of China from in terms of cropland area and spatial location, including Global Land30, FROM-GLC, Glob Cover, MODIS Collection 5, and MODIS Cropland. The results showed that the accuracies of cropland area and spatial location of Globe Land30 were higher than the other four products. The cropland areas of the five products varied in most of the provinces. Compared with the statistical data, the best goodness of fit was obtained using Globe Land30, followed by MODIS Collection 5 and FROM-GLC, with MODIS Cropland and Glob Cover having the poorer accuracies. Regarding the spatial location of cropland, Globe Land30 achieved the best accuracy, followed by FROM-GLC and MODIS Collection 5, with Glob Cover and MODIS Cropland having the poorer accuracies. In addition, the spatial agreement of the five datasets was reduced from agricultural production area to pastoral area and significantly affected by elevation and slope factors. Although the spatial resolution of MODIS Collection 5 was the lowest, accuracies of the cropland area and spatial location were better than those of Glob Cover and MODIS Cropland. Therefore, high spatial resolution remote sensing images can help to improve the accuracy of the dataset during land cover mapping, while it is also important to select a suitable classification method. Furthermore, in northwestern and southeastern China, spectral mixing pixels are universal because of the complicated landscape and fragmentized topography and result in uncertainty and poor consistency when using the five products. | 8 | Effects of operational factors on soluble microbial products in a carrier anaerobic baffled reactor treating dilute wastewater显示文摘The effects of feed strength, hydraulic residence time (HRT), and operational temperatures on soluble microbial product (SMP) production were investigated, to gain insights into the production mechanism. A carrier anaerobic baffled reactor (CABR) treating dilute wastewater was operated under a wide range of operational conditions, namely, feed strengths of 300–600 mg/L, HRTs of 9– 18 h, and temperatures of 10–28°C. Generally, SMP production increased with increasing feed strength and decreasing temperature. At high temperature (28°C), SMP production increased with decreasing HRT. As the temperature was decreased to 18 and 10°C, the SMP production was at its peak for 12 h HRT. Therefore, temperature could be an important determinant of SMP production along with HRT. A higher SMP to soluble chemical oxygen demand (SCOD) ratio was found at high temperature and long HRT because of complete volatile fatty acid degradation. SMP accounted for 50%–75% of the SCOD in the last chamber of the CABR. Based on wa-terlogging affected frequency, waterlogging hazard of pixel scale was assessed. According to the weighed score of area percentage of different waterlogging affected frequency in 13 counties/cities of Lixiahe region, waterlogging hazard rank of every county/city was assessed. Waterlogging affected frequency map and 1km×1km grid landuse map were used to assess waterlogging risk of pixel scale; and then waterlogging risk rank of every county/city was assessed by the similar method by which waterlogging hazard rank of every county/city was assessed. High risk region is located mainly in core zone of Lixiahe hinterland, medium risk region is adjacent to high risk region, and low risk region is located in the most outlying area of risk zone and mainly in south to middle part of Lixiahe region. Xinghua and Gaoyou belong to high risk city, Jiangyan belongs to medium risk city, and the other counties/cities have low or lower waterlogging risk. The method of assessing waterlogging risk in this paper is simple and applicable. | 11 | Studies on the evolution process of rockbursts in deep tunnels显示文摘This paper focuses on the evolution processes of different types of rockbursts occurring in deep tunnels. A series of laboratory tests and in-situ monitoring in deep tunnels excavated by tunnel boring machine (TBM) and drill-and-blast (D&B) method have been conducted to understand the mechanisms and processes of the evolution of different types of rockbursts, including strain rockburst, strain-structure slip rockburst, immediate rockburst and time-delayed rockburst. Three different risk assessment methods are proposed to evaluate the intensity and potential failure depth of rockbursts. These methods can be applied before excavation and the results can be updated according to the real-time information during excavation. Two micro-seismicity based real-time warning systems have been established for predicting various intensities of rockbursts, such as slight, moderate, intensive and extremely intensive rockbursts. Meanwhile, the probability and intensity of the rockburst are also given. The strategy for excavation and support design has been suggested for various intensities of rockbursts before excavation. The strategy for dynamic control of the rockburst evolution process is also proposed according to the monitoring results. The methodology has been successfully applied to rockburst risk reduction for deep tunnels at Jinping II hydropower project. | 15 | Nitrogen Deposition and Its Spatial Pattern in Main Forest Ecosystems along North-South Transect of Eastern China显示文摘A continuous three-year observation(from May 2008 to April 2011)was conducted to characterize the spatial variation of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN)deposition at eight main forest ecosystems along the north-south transect of eastern China(NSTEC).The results show that both throughfall DIN deposition and bulk DIN deposition increase from north to south along the NSTEC.Throughfall DIN deposition varies greatly from 2.7 kg N/(ha·yr)to 33.0 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 10.6 kg N/(ha·yr),and bulk DIN deposition ranges from 4.1 kg N/(ha·yr)to 25.4 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 9.8 kg N/(ha·yr).NH4+-N is the dominant form of DIN deposition at most sampling sites.Additionally,the spatial variation of DIN deposition is controlled mainly by precipitation.Moreover,in the northern part of the NSTEC,bulk DIN deposition is 17%higher than throughfall DIN deposition,whereas the trend is opposite in the southern part of the NSTEC.The results demonstrate that DIN deposition would likely threaten the forest ecosystems along the NSTEC,compared with the critical loads(CL)of N deposition,and DIN deposition in this region is mostly controlled by agricultural activities rather than industrial activities or transportation. | ZHAN Xiaoyun YU Guirui HE Nianpeng FANG Huajun JIA Bingrui ZHOU Mei WANG Chuankuan ZHANG Junhui ZHAO Guangdong WANG Silong LIU Yunfen YAN Junhua | 2014 | Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,2: | 10 |
| 16 | Milling surface roughness for 7050 aluminum alloy cavity influenced by nozzle position of nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication显示文摘In nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication(NMQL)milling of aviation aluminum alloy,it is the bottleneck problem to adjust the position parameters(target distance,incidence angle,and elevation angle)of the nozzle to improve the surface roughness of milling,which has large and uncontrollable errors.In this paper,the influence law of milling cutter speed,helical angle,and cavity shape on the flow field around the milling cutter was studied,and the optimal nozzle profile parameters were obtained.Using 7050 aluminum alloy as the workpiece material,the milling experiment of the NMQL cavity was conducted by utilizing cottonseed oil-based Al2 O3 nanofluid.Results show that the high velocity of the surrounding air flow field and the strong gas barrier could be attributed to high rotating velocities of the milling cutter.The incidence angle of the nozzle was consistent with the helical angle of the milling cutter,the target distance was appropriate at 25–30 mm,and the elevation angle was suitable at 60°–65°.The range and variance analyses of the signal-to-noise ratio of milling force and roughness were performed,and the chip morphology was observed and analyzed.The results show that the optimal combination of nozzle position parameters was the target distance of 30 mm,the incidence angle of 35°,and the elevation angle of 60°.Among these parameters,target distance had the largest impact on cutting performance with a contribution rate of more than 55%,followed by incidence angle and elevation contribution rate.Analysis by orthogonal experiment revealed that the nozzle position parameters were appropriate,and Ra(0.087 lm)was reduced by 30.4%from the maximum value(0.125 lm).Moreover,Rsm(0.05 mm)was minimum,which was 36%lower than that of the seventh group(Rsm=0.078 mm). | Zhenjing DUAN Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Lan DONG Xiufang BAI Min YANG Dongzhou JIA Runze LI Huajun CAO Xuefeng XU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6: | 10 |

Results of X-ray diffraction shows lithium and aluminum exists as Li compound (CH3COOLi@2H2O) and Al compound (AlD3) in the graphite, respectiovely.The Bmnauer-Emmer-Teller (BET) surface area of the modified graphite increases. According to the electrochemical measurements of Li/C cell and prototype Li-ion batteries, the Li-doped graphite has large reversible capacity of 312.2mA@h/g, low irreversible capacity of 52.9 mA@h/g, and high initial coulombic efficiency of 85.51%. The 063448 size prototype battery with Li-doped graphite anode has large discharge capacity of 845 mA@h and good cycling performance. | 19 | Sedimentary Characteristics and Model of Gravity Flow Depositional System for the First Member of Upper Miocene Huangliu Formation in Dongfang Area, Yinggehai Basin, Northwestern South China Sea显示文摘The gravity flow deposit were mainly developed in the lowstand systems tract(LST) of the first member of Upper Miocene Huangliu Formation(Ehl1) in Dongfang area, Yinggehai Basin, has become a valuable target for gas exploration and production. The gravity flow sedimentary characteristics of lithofacies associations, sedimentary texture, seismic facies and logging facies were described in detail on the basis of integrated analysis of cores, logging and seismic data. The sedimentary microfacies types composed of neritic sandbar, continental shelf mud, main channel, bifurcated or cross-cutting distributary channel, overspill, and natural levee are revealed under the constraint of high resolution sequence stratigraphic framework in the Ehl1. The gravity flow deposit system in the LST is divided into three evolution stages corresponding to periods of three parasequence sets. The gravity flow deposit was induced in the early LST, expanded rapidly in the middle LST and decreased slightly in the late LST. But its developing scale decreased sharply in the transgression systems tract(TST) and finally vanished in the highstand systems tract(HST). This spatial evolution rule is constrained by the integrated function of sediments supply of the Vietnam Blue River in the LST, the development of local gradient change in sea floor(micro-topography, i.e., flexure slope break), and the fall in relative sea level. | 20 | Observer-based backstepping longitudinal control for carrier-based UAV with actuator faults显示文摘The paper presents the longitudinal control for the carrier-based unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) system with unmeasured states, actuator faults, control input constraints, and external disturbances. By combining output state observer, adaptive fuzzy control, and constraint backstepping technology, a robust fault tolerant control approach is proposed. An output state observer with fuzzy logic systems is developed to estimate unmeasured states,and command filters rather than differentiations of virtual control law are used to solve the computational complexity problem in traditional backstepping. Additionally, a robust term is introduced to offset the fuzzy adaptive estimation error and external disturbance,and an appropriate fault controller structure with matching conditions obtained from fault compensation is proposed. Based on the Lyapunov theory, the designed control program is illustrated to guarantee that all the closed-loop signals of the given system are bounded, and the output errors converge to a small neighborhood of zero.
