| 1 | Resequencing of sweetpotato germplasm resources reveals key loci associated with multiple agronomic traits显示文摘Sweetpotato is an important crop that exhibits hexaploidy and high heterozygosity,which limits gene mining for important agronomic traits.Here,314 sweetpotato germplasm resources were deeply resequenced,and 4599509 SNPs and 846654 InDels were generated,among which 196124 SNPs were nonsynonymous and 9690 InDels were frameshifted.Based on the Indels,genome-wide marker primers were designed,and 3219 of 40366 primer pairs were selected to construct the core InDel marker set.The molecular ID of 104 sweetpotato samples verified the availability of these primers.The sweetpotato population structures were then assessed through multiple approaches using SNPs,and diverse approaches demonstrated that population stratification was not obvious for most Chinese germplasm resources.As many as 20 important agronomic traits were evaluated,and a genome-wide association study was conducted on these traits.A total of 19 high-confidence loci were detected in both models.These loci included several candidate genes,such as IbMYB1,IbZEP1,and IbYABBY1,which might be involved in anthocyanin metabolism,carotenoid metabolism,and leaf morphogenesis,respectively.Among them,IbZEP1 and IbYABBY1 were first reported in sweetpotato.The variants in the promoter and the expression levels of IbZEP1 were significantly correlated with f lesh color(orange or not orange)in sweetpotato.The expression levels of IbYABBY1 were also correlated with leaf shape.These results will assist in genetic and breeding studies in sweetpotato. | Shizhuo Xiao Xibin Dai Lingxiao Zhao Zhilin Zhou Lukuan Zhao Pan Xu Bingqian Gao An Zhang Donglan Zhao Rui Yuan Yao Wang Jie Wang Qinglian Li Qinghe Cao | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,1: | 1 |

| 6 | Reaction kinetics for the heterogeneously resin-catalyzed and homogeneously self-catalyzed esterification of thioglycolic acid with 2-ethyl-1-hexanol显示文摘Producing 2-ethyl-1-hexyl thioglycolate(ETE)via esterification reaction with thioglycolic acid(TGA)aqueous solution as raw material by reactive-separation coupling technology is a promising process intensification method.To choose suitable reactive-separation coupling strategy,the kinetic studies of the esterification of TGA with 2-ethyl-1-hexanol(EHL)were carried out in a batch system.The commercial ion exchange resin was employed as an eco-friendly catalyst.The effects of temperature,catalyst concentration and molar ratio were determined.It was interesting to observe that the equilibrium conversion of TGA increased with the increase of catalyst mass fraction due to the adsorption of product water onto resin surface.The activity-based pseudo-homogeneous(PH),Eley-Rideal(ER)and Langmuir-Hinshelwood-Ho ugen-Watson(LHHW)models were used to fit the kinetics data of the resin-catalyzed reaction.The models of ER and LHHW performed better than the PH model.The kinetics of the TGA-self-catalyzed reaction was also determined.An activity-based homogeneous kinetics model could well describe this self-catalyzed reaction.These results would be meaningful to the selection and design of an appropriate reactionseparation strategy for the production of ETE,to realize the process intensification. | Xiaoda Wang Wenkai Li Shiwei Wang Qinglian Wang Ling Li Hongxing Wang Ting Qiu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,8: | 1 |
| 7 | A new perspective to develop regiorandom polymer acceptors with high active layer ductility,excellent device stability,and high efficiency approaching 17%显示文摘The recently reported efficient polymerized small-molecule acceptors(PSMAs)usually adopt a regioregular backbone by polymerizing small-molecule acceptors precursors with a low-reactivity 5-brominated 3-(dicyanomethylidene)indan-1-one(IC)end group or its derivatives,leading to low molecular weight,and thus reduce active layer mechanical properties.Herein,a series of newly designed chlorinated PSMAs originating from isomeric IC end groups are developed by adjusting chlorinated positions and copolymerized sites on end groups to achieve high molecular weight,favorable intermolecular interaction,and improved physicochemical properties.Compared with regioregular PY2Se-Cl-o and PY2Se-Cl-m,regiorandom PY2Se-Cl-ran has a similar absorption profile,moderate lowest unoccupied molecular orbital level,and favorable intermolecular packing and crystallization properties.Moreover,the binary PM6:PY2Se-Cl-ran blend achieves better ductility with a crack-onset strain of 17.5% and improved power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 16.23% in all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)due to the higher molecular weight of PY2Se-Cl-ran and optimized blend morphology,while the ternary PM6:J71:PY2Se-Cl-ran blend offers an impressive PCE approaching 17% and excellent device stability,which are all crucial for potential practical applications of all-PSCs in wearable electronics.To date,the efficiency of 16.86% is the highest value reported for the regiorandom PSMAs-based all-PSCs and is also one of the best values reported for the all-PSCs.Our work provides a new perspective to develop efficient all-PSCs,with all high active layer ductility,impressive PCE,and excellent device stability,towards practical applications. | Qunping Fan Ruijie Ma Wenyan Su Qinglian Zhu Zhenghui Luo Kai Chen Yabing Tang Francis RLin Yuxiang Li He Yan Chuluo Yang Alex K.-Y.Jen Wei Ma | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Metronomic chemotherapy of cyclophosphamide plus methotrexate for advanced breast cancer:Real-world data analyses and experience of one center显示文摘Background:Real-world data of the CM regimen[cyclophosphamide(CTX)plus methotrexate(MTX)]in metronomic pattern for advanced breast cancer is limited to small-sample or retrospective studies.This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness and safety of CM regimen in treating advanced breast cancer and to identify which patients are most likely to benefit from metronomic CM regimen.Methods:Patients with advanced breast cancer who received the metronomic CM regimen at least once between January 2009 and February 2019 in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center were included.Clinicopathological characteristics were collected.Overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)were assessed using Kaplan-Meier estimates.Characteristics between patients with PFS<6 months and≥6 months were compared using the Chi-square test.Univariate and multivariate Cox regression model was used to estimate the prognostic factors for PFS and OS.Results:A total of 186 patients were included.The median age and follow-up were 49 years and 13.3 months,respectively.Over 50%of the patients were estrogen receptor/progesterone receptor-positive,and 60.8%had been heavily treated(≥3 lines).The objective response rate was 3.8%,the disease control rate at 12 weeks was 41.4%,and the clinical benefit rate at 24 weeks was 31.2%(58/186).The median PFS was 4.0 months[95%confidence interval(CI):3.6-4.7 months],the median duration of clinical benefit was 9.5 months(95%CI:8.2-10.8 months),and the median OS was 26.8 months(95%CI:20.9-37.7 months).Multivariate analysis for PFS revealed the CM regimen as maintenance therapy and no liver metastasis as favorable prognostic factors.Furthermore,patients without liver metastasis were more likely to have a PFS over 6 months than those with liver involvement(P=0.022).Liver,lymph node,and brain metastases were unfavorable prognostic factors for OS.The CM regimen was well-tolerated without newly reported adverse events.Conclusions:The CM regimen was effective in selected patients.In clinical practice,it would be better used as maintenance therapy and in patients without liver metastasis.Further follow-up investigation should be performed to examine its effect when used in combination with other treatments and determine predictive biomarkers. | Qianyi Lu Kaping Lee Fei Xu Wen Xia Qiufan Zheng Ruoxi Hong Kuikui Jiang Qinglian Zhai Yuan Li Yanxia Shi Zhongyu Yuan Shusen Wang | 2020 | Cancer Communications2020,40,5: | 0 |

| 11 | Characteristics of penetration and distribution of a liquid jet in a divergent cavity-based combustor显示文摘The atomization process of a liquid jet in a divergent cavity-based combustor was investigated experimentally using high-speed photography and schlieren techniques under a Mach number 2.0 supersonic crossflow.Gas-liquid flow field was studied at different divergent angles and injection schemes.It is found that complex wave structures exist in the divergent cavity-based combustor.The spray field can be divided into three distinct zones:surface wave-dominated breakup zone,rapid atomization zone and cavity mixing zone.A dimensionless spray factor is defined to describe the concentration of spray inside the cavity qualitatively.As a result,it is revealed that for the large divergent angle cavity,the injection scheme near the upstream inlet has a higher penetration depth but a lower spray distribution,where the injection scheme near the cavity has a more spray distribution.For the small divergent angle cavity,the injection scheme near the upstream inlet also has a higher penetration depth and the injection scheme near the start point of the divergent section has a more sufficient spray distribution.The small divergent angle cavity-based combustor with the upstream wall transverse injection is an optimized injection scheme to improve both penetration and spray distribution inside the cavity.Finally,a penetration depth formula is proposed to explain the spray and distribution behaviors in the divergent cavity-based combustor. | Yaozhi ZHOU Zun CAI Qinglian LI Chenyang LI Mingbo SUN Shaotian GONG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,12: | 0 |
| 12 | Review of atomization mechanism and spray characteristics of a liquid jet in supersonic crossflow显示文摘The injection and atomization process of a liquid fuel jet is critical for an ignition start of a scramjet engine.Airwall-mounted crossflow injection strategy is widely used in scramjet combustors,avoiding high total pressure loss and allowing the liquid fuel to rapidly undergo atomization,mixing,and evaporation.In this review,research progress on a liquid jet in supersonic crossflow was evaluated from aspects of atomization mechanism and spray characteristics.When a liquid jet is injected into a supersonic crossflow,primary and secondary breakups occur successively.The surface instability of liquid can significantly affect the breakup process.This review discusses the current understanding of the breakup process and spray characteristics of a liquid jet in supersonic crossflow including the mechanism of atomization and the characteristics of distribution and atomization.The development of windward Rayleigh-Taylor(R-T)unstable waves is the main factor in column breakup.The development of Kelvin-Helmholtz(K-H)unstable waves along the circumferential direction of the jet or droplets is the main factor of surface and droplet breakups.The liquid-gas momentum ratio is the most important factor affecting the penetration depth.The span width of the liquid jet is affected by the windward area.Breakup and coalescence lead to a transformation of the size distribution of droplets from S-or C-shaped to I-shaped,and the velocity distribution of the droplets on the central symmetry plane has a mirrored S-shape.The droplet distribution on the spanwise cross-section retains a structure similar to an“Ω”shape.At last,some promising recommendations have been proposed,namely a theoretical predictive model which can describe the breakup mechanism of a liquid jet,the distribution characteristics and droplets size distribution of a liquid jet under a cavity combustion chamber,especially for enthalpy flows with complex wave structures. | Yaozhi ZHOU Zun CAI Qinglian LI Chenyang LI Mingbo SUN Peibo LI Hongbo WANG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,8: | 0 |
