1Major Depressive Disorder: Advances in Neuroscience Research and Translational Applications显示文摘Major depressive disorder(MDD),also referred to as depression,is one of the most common psychiatric disorders with a high economic burden.The etiology of depression is still not clear,but it is generally believed that MDD is a multifactorial disease caused by the interaction of social,psychological,and biological aspects.Therefore,there is no exact pathological theory that can independently explain its pathogenesis,involving genetics,neurobiology,and neuroimaging.At present,there are many treatment measures for patients with depression,including drug therapy,psychotherapy,and neuromodulation technology.In recent years,great progress has been made in the development of new antidepressants,some of which have been applied in the clinic.This article mainly reviews the research progress,pathogenesis,and treatment of MDD.Zezhi Li Meihua Ruan Jun Chen Yiru Fang 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,6:13
2Reduction of Cogging Torque and Electromagnetic Vibration Based on Different Combination of Pole Arc Coefficient for Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine显示文摘Cogging torque and electromagnetic vibration are two important factors for evaluating permanent magnet synchronous machine(PMSM)and are key issues that must be considered and resolved in the design and manufacture of high-performance PMSM for electric vehicles.A fast and accurate magnetic field calculation model for interior permanent magnet synchronous machine(IPMSM)is proposed in this article.Based on the traditional magnetic potential permeance method,the stator cogging effect and complex boundary conditions of the IPMSM can be fully considered in this model,so as to realize the rapid calculation of equivalent magnetomotive force(MMF),air gap permeance,and other key electromagnetic properties.In this article,a 6-pole 36-slot IPMSM is taken as an example to establish its equivalent solution model,thereby the cogging torque is accurately calculated.And the validity of this model is verified by a variety of different magnetic pole structures,pole slot combinations machines,and prototype experiments.In addition,the improvement measure of the machine with different combination of pole arc coefficient is also studied based on this model.Cogging torque and electromagnetic vibration can be effectively weakened.Combined with the finite element model and multi-physics coupling model,the electromagnetic characteristics and vibration performance of this machine are comprehensively compared and analyzed.The analysis results have well verified its effectiveness.It can be extended to other structures or types of PMSM and has very important practical value and research significance.Feng Liu Xiuhe Wang Zezhi Xing Aiguo Yu Changbin Li 2021CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2021,5,4:4

8circCAPRIN1 interacts with STAT2 to promote tumor progression and lipid synthesis via upregulating ACC1 expression in colorectal cancer显示文摘Background:Circular RNAs(circRNAs)generated by back-splicing of precursor mRNAs(pre-mRNAs)are often aberrantly expressed in cancer cells.Accumulating evidence has revealed that circRNAs play a critical role in the progression of several cancers,including colorectal cancer(CRC).However,the current understandings of the emerging functions of circRNAs in CRC lipid metabolism and the underlying molecular mechanisms are still limited.Here,we aimed to explore the role of circCAPRIN1 in regulating CRC lipid metabolism and tumorigenesis.Methods:circRNA microarray was performed with three pairs of tumor and non-tumor tissues from CRC patients.The expression of circRNAs were determined by quantitative PCR(qPCR)and in situ hybridization(ISH).The endogenous levels of circRNAs in CRC cells were manipulated by transfection with lentiviruses overexpressing or silencing circRNAs.The regulatory roles of circRNAs in the occurrence of CRC were investigated both in vitro and in vivo using gene expression array,RNA pull-down/mass spectrometry,RNA immunoprecipitation assay,luciferase reporter assay,chromatin immunoprecipitation analysis,and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH).Results:Among circRNAs,circCAPRIN1 was most significantly upregulated in CRC tissue specimens.circCAPRIN1 expression was positively correlated with the clinical stage and unfavorable prognosis of CRC patients.Downregulation of circCAPRIN1 suppressed proliferation,migration,and epithelial-mesenchymal transition of CRC cells,while circCAPRIN1 overexpression had opposite effects.RNA sequencing and gene ontology analysis indicated that circCAPRIN1 upregulated the expressions of genes involved in CRC lipid metabolism.Moreover,circCAPRIN1 promoted lipid synthesis by enhancing Acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1(ACC1)expression.Further mechanistic assays demonstrated that circCAPRIN1 directly bound signal transducer and activator of transcription 2(STAT2)to activate ACC1 transcription,thus regulating lipid metabolism and facilitating CRC tumorigenesis.Conclusions:These findings revealed the oncogenic role and mechanism of circCAPRIN1 in CRC.circCAPRIN1 interacted with STAT2 to promote CRC tumor progression and lipid synthesis by enhancing the expression of ACC1.circCAPRIN1 may be considered as a novel potential diagnostic and therapeutic target for CRC patients.Yufei Yang Dakui Luo Yang Shao Zezhi Shan Qi Liu Junyong Weng Weijing He Ruoxin Zhang Qingguo Li Ziliang Wang Xinxiang Li 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,1:0
9Analysis of Permanent Magnet-assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor Based on Equivalent Reluctance Network Model显示文摘In this paper,the equivalent reluctance network model(ERNM)is used to calculate the magnetic circuit of a permanent magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance motor(PMASynRM)and calculate no-load air-gap magnetic field and electromagnetic torque.Iteration method is used to solve the relative permeability of iron core.A novel reluctance network model based on actual distribution of the magnetic flux inside the motor is established.The magnetomotive force(MMF)generated by armature winding affects the relative permeability of iron core,which is considered in the calculation of ERNM to improve the accuracy when the motor is under load.ERNM can be used to measure air-gap flux density,no-load back electromotive force(EMF),the average value of motor torque,the armature winding voltage under load,and power factor.The method of calculating the motor performance is proposed.The results of calculation are consistent with finite element method(FEM)and the computational complexity is much less than that of the FEM.The results of ERNM has been verified,which will provide a simple method for motor design and analysis.Changbin Li Xiuhe Wang Feng Liu Jie Ren Zezhi Xing Xinwei Gu 2022CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2022,6,2:0

12PAID study design on the role of PKC activation in immune/inflammation-related depression:a randomised placebo-controlled trial protocol显示文摘Background Inflammation that is mediated by microglia activation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of depression.Microglia activation can lead to an increase in the levels of proinflammatory cytokines,including TNF-α,which leads to neuronal apoptosis in the specific neural circuits of some brain regions,abnormal cognition and treatment-resistant depression(TRD).Protein kinase C(PKC)is a key regulator of the microglia activation process.We assume that the abnormality in PKC might result in abnormal microglia activation,neuronal apoptosis,significant changes in emotional and cognitive neural circuits,and TRD.In the current study,we plan to target at the PKC signal pathway to improve the TRD treatment outcome.Methods and analysis This is a 12-week,ongoing,randomised,placebo-controlled trial.Patients with TRD(N=180)were recruited from Shanghai Mental Health Center,Shanghai Jiao Tong University.Healthy control volunteers(N=60)were recruited by advertisement.Patients with TRD were randomly assigned to‘escitalopram+golimumab(TNF-αinhibitor)’,‘escitalopram+calcium tablet+vitamin D(PKC activator)’or‘escitalopram+placebo’groups.We define the primary outcome as changes in the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-17).The secondary outcome is defined as changes in anti-inflammatory effects,cognitive function and quality of life.Discussion This study might be the first randomised,placebo-controlled trial to target at the PKC signal pathway in patients with TRD.Our study might help to propose individualised treatment strategies for depression.Trial registration number The trial protocol is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov under protocol ID 81930033 and ClinicalTrials.gov ID NCT04156425.Xiaoyun Guo Ruizhi Mao Lvchun Cui Fan Wang Rubai Zhou Yun Wang Jia Huang Yuncheng Zhu Yamin Yao Guoqing Zhao Zezhi Li Jun Chen Jinhui Wang Yiru Fang 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,2:0
