| 1 | Comparison of photosynthesis and antioxidative protection in Sophora moorcroftiana and Caragana maximovicziana under water stress显示文摘This study aims to investigate the protective roles of photosynthetic characteristics and antioxidative systems in the desiccation tolerance of Sophora moorcroftiana and Caragana maximovicziana as they adapt to arid environments. A variety of physiological and biochemical parameters in the leaves of two Leguminosae species were monitored for 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28 d of drought stress. Soil water content decreased from 38.58% to 7.33% after exposure to 28 d of water stress. The photosynthetic carbon-assimilation rates of the two Leguminosae plants decreased for non-stomatal limitation with processing water stress. The malondialdehyde content and cell membrane relative conductivity of the two species increased significantly from 1 to 21 d and then decreased. S. moorcroftiana showed higher superoxide dismutase and peroxidase activities than C. maximovicziana during the 28 d treatment period. However, the catalase activities and proline content of C. maximovicziana were higher than those of S. moorcroftiana before the water stress treatment reached 21 d. Nine physiological and biochemical parameters were selected to comprehensively evaluate the two species' drought-resistance by the membership function values(MFV). The mean MFV indicated that S. moorcroftiana has a relatively stronger drought defense capability than C. maximovicziana. | 3 | A Precise Calibration Method on Phase Center of Uplink Antenna Array Considering Its Actual Pointing显示文摘With regard to the inferior techniques and low accuracy of phase center calibration of an antenna array, this paper proposes a new calibration method considering the actual antenna pointing by introducing a precise engineering surveying technique to measure the real state of antennas. First, an industrial photogrammetric system is utilized to obtain the coordinates of points on antenna panels in different postures, and the actual pointing of the mechanical axis is obtained via least-squares fitting. Then, based on this, the coordinates of antenna rotation center are obtained by seeking the intersection of mechanical axes via using the matrix method. Finally, the mechanical axis in arbitrary postures is estimated based on the inverse-angle weighting interpolation method, and the reliable phase center is obtained by moving a fixed length from the projective center along the mechanical axis. An uplink antenna array including three ? 3 m antennas is taken as experimental object, and all photogrammetric coordinate systems are unified by the engineering control network, with each antenna phase center precisely calibrated via the proposed method. | 11 | Development and validation of a machine learning-based nomogram for prediction of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma in patients with intrahepatic lithiasis显示文摘Background:Accurate diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC)caused by intrahepatic lithiasis(IHL)is crucial for timely and effective surgical intervention.The aim of the present study was to develop a nomogram to identify ICC associated with IHL(IHL-ICC).Methods:The study included 2,269 patients with IHL,who received pathological diagnosis after hepatectomy or diagnostic biopsy.Machine learning algorithms including Lasso regression and random forest were used to identify important features out of the available features.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to reconfirm the features and develop the nomogram.The nomogram was externally validated in two independent cohorts.Results:The seven potential predictors were revealed for IHL-ICC,including age,abdominal pain,vomiting,comprehensive radiological diagnosis,alkaline phosphatase(ALK),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and cancer antigen(CA)19-9.The optimal cutoff value was 2.05μg/L for serum CEA and 133.65 U/mL for serum CA 19-9.The accuracy of the nomogram in predicting ICC was 82.6%.The area under the curve(AUC)of nomogram in training cohort was 0.867.The AUC for the validation set was 0.881 from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University,and 0.938 from The First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University.Conclusions:The nomogram holds promise as a novel and accurate tool to predict IHL-ICC,which can identify lesions in IHL in time for hepatectomy or avoid unnecessary surgical resection. | Xian Shen Huanhu Zhao Xing Jin Junyu Chen Zhengping Yu Kuvaneshan Ramen Xiangwu Zheng Xiuling Wu Yunfeng Shan Jianling Bai Qiyu Zhang Qiqiang Zeng | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,6: | 1 |

| 16 | Wear-resistant Ag-MAX phase 3D interpenetrating-phase composites:Processing,structure,and properties显示文摘Electrical contact materials are generally Ag-or Cu-based composites and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipments and electronic instruments.The MAX(M is an early transition metal,A is an element from III or IV main groups,and X is carbon or/and nitrogen)phase ceramics display a unique combination of properties and may serve as an ideal reinforcement phase for electrical contact materials.The biological materials evolved in nature generally exhibit three-dimensional(3D)interpenetrating-phase architectures,which may offer useful inspiration for the architectural design of electrical contact materials.Here,a series of bi-continuous Ag-Ti_(3)SiC_(2) MAX phase composites with high ceramic contents exceeding 50 vol.%and having micron-and ultrafine-scaled 3D interpenetrating-phase architectures,wherein both constituents were continuous and mutually interspersed,were exploited by pressureless infiltration of Ag melt into partially sintered Ti_(3)SiC_(2) scaffolds.The mechanical and electrical properties as well as the friction and wear performance of the composites were investigated and revealed to be closely dependent on the ceramic contents and characteristic structural dimensions.The composites exhibited a good combination of properties with high hardness over 2.3 GPa,high flexural strength exceeding 530 MPa,decent fracture toughness over 10 MPa·m^(1/2),and good wear resistance with low wear rate at an order of 10^(-5)mm^(3)/(N·m),which were much superior compared to the counterparts made by powder metallurgy methods.In particular,the hardness,electrical conductivity,strength,and fracture toughness of the composites demonstrated a simultaneous improvement as the structure was refined from micron-to ultrafine-scales at equivalent ceramic contents.The good combination of properties along with the facile processing route makes the Ag-Ti_(3)SiC_(2)3D interpenetrating-phase composites appealing for electrical contact applications. | Yu Guo Xi Xie Zengqian Liu Longchao Zhuo Jian Zhang Shaogang Wang Qiqiang Duan Qing Jia Dake Xu Weihai Xue Deli Duan Filippo Berto Zhefeng Zhang Rui Yang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,2: | 1 |

| 20 | Synthesis and property characterization of ternary laminar Zr_(2)SB ceramic显示文摘In this paper,Zr_(2)SB ceramic with purity of 82.95 wt%(containing 8.96 wt%ZrB_(2)and 8.09 wt%zirconium)and high relative density(99.03%)was successfully synthesized from ZrH_(2),sublimated sulfur,and boron powders by spark plasma sintering(SPS)at 1300℃.The reaction process,microstructure,and physical and mechanical properties of Zr_(2)SB ceramic were systematically studied.The results show that the optimum molar ratio to synthesize Zr_(2)SB is n(ZrH_(2)):n(S):n(B)=1.4:1.6:0.7.The average grain size of Zr_(2)SB is 12.46μm in length and 5.12μm in width,and the mean grain sizes of ZrB2 and zirconium impurities are about 300 nm.In terms of physical properties,the measured thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)is 7.64×10^(-6) K^(-1) from room temperature to 1200℃,and the thermal capacity and thermal conductivity at room temperature are 0.39 J·g^(-1)·K^(-1)and 12.01 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),respectively.The room temperature electrical conductivity of Zr_(2)SB ceramic is measured to be 1.74×10^(6)Ω^(-1)·m^(-1).In terms of mechanical properties,Vickers hardness is 9.86±0.63 GPa under 200 N load,and the measured flexural strength,fracture toughness,and compressive strength are 269±12.7 MPa,3.94±0.63 MPa·m1/2,and 2166.74±291.34 MPa,respectively. | Qiqiang ZHANG Shuai FU Detian WAN Yiwang BAO Qingguo FENG Salvatore GRASSO Chunfeng HU | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,5: | 1 |
