1Atmospheric fine particles in a typical coastal port of Yangtze River Delta显示文摘In recent decades, coastal ports have experienced rapid development and become an important economic and ecological hub in China. Atmospheric particle is a research hotspot in atmospheric environmental sciences in inland regions. However, few studies on the atmospheric particle were conducted in coastal port areas in China, which indeed suffers atmospheric particle pollution. Lack of the physicochemical characteristics of fine particles serves as an obstacle toward the accurate control for air pollution in the coastal port area in China. Here, a field observation was conducted in an important coastal port city in Yangtze River Delta from March 6 to March 19, 2019. The average PM2.5 concentration was 63.7 ±27.8 μg/m^3 and NO3^-, SO4^2-, NH4^+, and organic matter accounted for ?60% of PM 2.5. Fe was the most abundant trace metal element and V as the ship emission indicator was detected. Transmission electron microscopy images showed that SK-rich, soot, Fe, SK-soot and SK-Fe were the major individual particles in the coastal port. V and soluble Fe were detected in sulfate coating of SK-Fe particles. We found that anthropogenic emissions, marine sea salt, and secondary atmosphere process were the major sources of fine particles. Backward trajectory analysis indicated that the dominant air masses were marine air mass, inland air mass from northern Zhejiang and inland-marine mixed air mass from Shandong and Shanghai during the sampling period. 4Preparation and in vitro Release Properties of Mercaptopurine Drug-loaded Magnetic Microspheres显示文摘Magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles were synthesized by co-precipitation method and the mercaptopurine(MER) drug-loaded magnetic microspheres were obtained through emulsion cross-linking methods. The efficiency of this approach was evaluated in terms of drug loading content(DLC), encapsulation efficiency(EE) and delivery properties in vitro, determined by high performance liquid chromatograph(HPLC). The microspheres showed good DLC values of 11.8%, as well as good EE values of 79.4%. The in vitro drug release study was carried out in phosphate buffer solution(PBS) simulated body fluid, at 37 ℃ with pH=7.4. The release profiles showed an initial fast release rate, which decreased as time progressed and about 84 % had been released after 48 h. 8MAGUS:machine learning and graph theory assisted universal structure searcher显示文摘Crystal structure predictions based on first-principles calculations have gained great success in materials science and solid state physics.However,the remaining challenges still limit their applications in systems with a large number of atoms,especially the complexity of conformational space and the cost of local optimizations for big systems.Here,we introduce a crystal structure prediction method,MAGUS,based on the evolutionary algorithm,which addresses the above challenges with machine learning and graph theory.Techniques used in the program are summarized in detail and benchmark tests are provided.With intensive tests,we demonstrate that on-the-fly machine-learning potentials can be used to significantly reduce the number of expensive first-principles calculations,and the crystal decomposition based on graph theory can efficiently decrease the required configurations in order to find the target structures.We also summarized the representative applications of this method on several research topics,including unexpected compounds in the interior of planets and their exotic states at high pressure and high temperature(superionic,plastic,partially diffusive state,etc.);new functional materials(superhard,high-energy-density,superconducting,photoelectric materials),etc.These successful applications demonstrated that MAGUS code can help to accelerate the discovery of interesting materials and phenomena,as well as the significant value of crystal structure predictions in general.Junjie Wang Hao Gao Yu Han Chi Ding Shuning Pan Yong Wang Qiuhan Jia Hui-Tian Wang Dingyu Xing Jian Sun 2023National Science Review2023,10,7:1
9Systematic Errors Induced by the Elliptical Power-law model in Galaxy–Galaxy Strong Lens Modeling显示文摘The elliptical power-law model of the mass in a galaxy is widely used in strong gravitational lensing analyses.However,the distribution of mass in real galaxies is more complex.We quantify the biases due to this model mismatch by simulating and then analyzing mock Hubble Space Telescope imaging of lenses with mass distributions inferred from SDSS-Ma NGA stellar dynamics data.We find accurate recovery of source galaxy morphology,except for a slight tendency to infer sources to be more compact than their true size.The Einstein radius of the lens is also robustly recovered with 0.1%accuracy,as is the global density slope,with 2.5%relative systematic error,compared to the 3.4%intrinsic dispersion.However,asymmetry in real lenses also leads to a spurious fitted'external shear'with typical strengthγext=0.015.Furthermore,time delays inferred from lens modeling without measurements of stellar dynamics are typically underestimated by~5%.Using such measurements from a sub-sample of 37 lenses would bias measurements of the Hubble constant H0 by~9%.Although this work is based on a particular set of Ma NGA galaxies,and the specific value of the detected biases may change for another set of strong lenses,our results strongly suggest the next generation cosmography needs to use more complex lens mass models.Xiaoyue Cao Ran Li J.W.Nightingale Richard Massey Andrew Robertson Carlos SFrenk Aristeidis Amvrosiadis Nicola CAmorisco Qiuhan He Amy Etherington Shaun Cole Kai Zhu 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,2:1
10ANXA2 Facilitates Enterovirus 71 Infection by Interacting with 3D Polymerase and PI4KB to Assist the Assembly of Replication Organelles显示文摘Similar to that of other enteroviruses, the replication of enterovirus 71(EV71) occurs on rearranged membranous structures called replication organelles(ROs). Phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase Ⅲ(PI4KB), which is required by enteroviruses for RO formation, yields phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate(PI4P) on ROs. PI4P then binds and induces conformational changes in the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(Rd Rp) to modulate Rd Rp activity. Here, we targeted 3D polymerase, the core enzyme of EV71 ROs, and found that the host factor Annexin A2(ANXA2) can interact with 3 D polymerase and promote the replication of EV71. Then, an experiment showed that the annexin domain of ANXA2, which possesses membranebinding capacity, mediates the interaction of ANXA2 with EV71 3 D polymerase. Further research showed that ANXA2 is localized on ROs and interacts with PI4KB. Overexpression of ANXA2 stimulated the formation of PI4P, and the level of PI4P was decreased in ANXA2-knockout cells. Furthermore, ANXA2, PI4KB, and 3D were shown to be localized to the viral RNA replication site, where they form a higher-order protein complex, and the presence of ANXA2 promoted the PI4 KB-3D interaction. 12Rassf2 overexpression mediated by AAV promotes the supporting cell-to-hair cell transformation in the cochlea显示文摘Sensory hair cells are responsible for detecting and transmitting sound in the inner ear,and damage to HCs leads to hearing loss.HCs do not regenerate spontaneously in adult mammals,which makes the hearing loss permanent.However,hair cells and supporting cells have the same precursors in the inner ear,and in newborn mice,the adjacent SCs can be activated by gene manipulation to differentiate into newly regenerated hair cells.Here,we demonstrate the role of the Ras association domain family member 2(Rassf2)in supporting cell to hair cell trans-differentiation in the inner ear.Using the AAV vector(AAV-ie)to upregulate Rassf2 expression promoted supporting cell division and hair cell production in cultured cochlear organoids.Also,AAV-Rassf2 enhanced the regenerative ability of Lgr5+SCs in the postnatal cochlea without impairing hearing,and this might due to the modulation of the Wnt,Hedgehog and Notch signaling pathways.Furthermore,AAV-Rassf2 enhances cochlear supporting cell division and hair cell production in the neomycin injury model.In summary,our results suggest that Rassf2 is a key component in HC regenerative repair,and gene modulation mediated by adeno-associated virus may be a promising gene therapy for hearing repair.Liyan Zhang Jieyu Qi Yuan Fang Fangzhi Tan Yinyi Zhou Ziyu Zhang Qiuhan Sun Nianci Li Yideng Huang Jingwu Sun Renjie Chai 2023Engineered Regeneration2023,4,3:0
13CFD simulation and experiment on the flow field of air-assisted ultra-low-volume sprayers in facilities显示文摘In order to explore the performance of the B-ULV-616A knapsack sprayer,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)was used to simulate the B-ULV-616A knapsack air-assisted device,which features an ultra-low-volume electric sprayer.Field experiments were carried out to test the spraying effects,and the KANOMAX anemometer was used to verify the simulated results.First,the internal and external flow fields and droplet deposition distribution of the ultra-low-volume sprayer were established.The results showed that the air-assisted spray device can change the airflow speed and direction and produce a high-speed swirling airflow at the outlet of the air-assisted spray device.The high-speed airflow(maximum of 83.5 m/s)generates negative pressure(minimum of 0.099 MPa)and causes a rapid increase in the droplet velocity and a secondary droplets spray,allowing droplets to reach a longer distance.Then,the maximum relative error was 20.14%,and its average value was 9.59%,indicating that the CFD method is suitable for the flow field analysis of the air-assisted spray device.Finally,based on the greenhouse experiment,the knapsack air-assisted ultra-low-volume electric sprayer was found to effectively improve the deposition on the rear of the crop,increase the droplet density(maximum of 81/cm2;droplet density of conventional electric sprayer is 64/cm2),and reduce the deposition amount and coefficient of variation(below 20%)within and between regions.Further,it managed to reduce pesticide use(by 69.85%)and rural non-point source pollution.Xinyu Lu Yan Gong Dejiang Liu Guo Wang Xiao Chen Xiao Zhang Qiuhan Liang 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,2:0
14七氟烷预处理通过激活胞外信号调节激酶诱发兔脊髓缺血再灌注的急性耐受显示文摘背景七氟烷预处理对脊髓缺血再灌注损伤(I/R)的保护效应尚不明确。本研究拟通过短暂兔脊髓缺血模型来研究七氟烷预处理是否能够诱导脊髓急性缺血耐受,同时探讨胞外信号激酶(ERK)在其中的作用。方法为了研究七氟烷(Sev)预处理是否能够诱发急性缺血耐受,将新西兰大白兔随机分为三组。Sev组接受30分钟的3.7%七氟烷(1.0最低肺泡麻醉浓度)复合96%O2预处理;氧气(O2)组吸入30分钟的96%O2做为对照;假手术组接受相同的麻醉和手术,但不进行预处理或脊髓I/R。为了评估ERK在七氟烷预处理中的作用,大白兔被随机分为4组。在U0126+O2、U0126+Sev两组中,于预处理前20分钟静脉给予ERK抑制剂U0126;二甲基亚砜(DMSO)+02、DMSO+Sev两组在同一时点给予DMSO。预处理后1小时.阻断肾下腹主动脉施行脊髓I/R。再灌注后48小时采用改良Tarlov标准进行评估,取脊髓(k)节段进行组织病理学检查、TUNEL染色,蛋白印迹法检测磷酸化ERKI/2。结果与O2组比较,Sev组动物神经学评分高、正常运动神经元多(每一项比较P〈0.01)。-tDMSO+Sev比较,U0126+Sev组神经学评分较差、活力神经元减少、神经元凋亡增多、磷酸化ERKl/2减少(每一项比较P〈0.01)。DMSO+02、U0126+02、U0126+Sev组间结果差异无显著性。结论本研究表明七氟烷预处理可诱导兔脊髓对I/R的急性耐受,这一作用可能与ERK激活有关。研究数据表明七氟烷预处理可能成为围术期脊髓I/R损伤的新保护措施。Qian Ding Qiang Wang Jiao Deng Qiuhan Gu Sheng Hu Yang Li Binxiao Su Yi Zeng Lize Xiong 姚凤珍(译) 崔苏扬(校) 2011麻醉与镇痛2011,7,1:0
