| 1 | Effect of Shengmai Yin on the DNA methylation status of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell and its radioresistant strains显示文摘Shengmai Yin(SMY)is a Chinese herbal decoction that effectively alleviates the side effects of radiotherapy in various cancers and helps achieve radiotherapy’s clinical efficacy.In this study,we explored the interaction mechanism among SMY,DNA methylation,and nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).We identified differences in DNA methylation levels in NPC CNE-2 cells and its radioresistant cells(CNE-2R)using the methylated DNA immunoprecipitation array and found that CNE-2R cells showed genomewide changes in methylation status towards a state of hypomethylation.SMY may restore its original DNA methylation status,and thus,enhance radiosensitivity.Furthermore,we confirmed that the differential gene Tenascin-C(TNC)was overexpressed in CNE-2R cells and that SMY downregulated TNC expression.This downregulation of TNC inhibited NPC cell radiation resistance,migration,and invasion.Furthermore,we found that TNC was hypomethylated in CNE-2R cells and partially restored to a hypermethylated state after SMY intervention.DNA methyltransferases 3 a may be the key protein in DNA methylation of TNC. | Shiya Liu Zhiyuan Wang Daoqi Zhu Jiabin Yang Dandan Lou Ruijiao Gao Zetai Wang Aiwu Li Ying Lv Qin Fan | 2021 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2021，11，6： | 4 |
| 2 | Terahertz synthetic aperture in-line holography with intensity correction and sparsity autofocusing reconstruction显示文摘We demonstrate high-resolution and high-quality terahertz(THz)in-line digital holography based on the synthetic aperture method.The setup is built on a self-developed THz quantum cascade laser,and a lateral resolution better than 70μm(~λ)is achieved at 4.3 THz.To correct intensity differences between sub-holograms before aperture stitching,a practical algorithm with global optimization is proposed.To address the twin-image problem for in-line holography,a sparsity-based phase retrieval algorithm is applied to perform the high-quality reconstruction.Furthermore,a new autofocusing criterion termed'reconstruction objective function'is introduced to obtain the best in-focus reconstruction distance,so the autofocusing procedure and the reconstruction are unified within the same framework.Both simulation and experiment prove its accuracy and robustness.Note that all the methods proposed here can be applied to other wavebands as well.We demonstrate the success of this THz synthetic aperture in-line holography on biological and semiconductor samples,showing its potential applications in bioimaging and materials analysis. | ZEYU LI RUIJIAO ZOU WEIPENG KONG XUEMIN WANG QINGHUA DENG QIANG YAN YU QIN WEIDONG WU XUN ZHOU | 2019 | Photonics Research2019，7，12： | 3 |
| 3 | “Three medicines and three formulas”in COVID-19:from bench to bedside显示文摘Chinese guideline has proven effective in the fight against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)during the global spread of the epidemic.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is widely recognized for its effectiveness in alleviating symptoms,inhibiting disease progress,reducing mortality,and improving the cure rate of patients with COVID-19.During the pandemic,“three medicines and three formulas”(TMTFs)stood out from hundreds of others in registered clinical studies,which became highly recommended as TCM for COVID-19 treatment.The TMTFs not only effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of fever,cough,fatigue,and phlegm,but also substantially shorten the time of nucleic acid negative conversion,improve lung computed tomography imaging features and inflammation,ameliorate clinical biochemical indicators,and reduce sequelae.Their potential pharmacological mechanisms are mainly related to the crosstalk between viral toxicity,endothelial damage,cytokine storm,immune response,and microthrombus.In brief,the clinical effects and the potential mechanisms of TMTFs on COVID-19 were systematically analyzed and summarized covering the entirety of disease development,including virus invasion and replication,immune response and cytokine storm,and acute respiratory distress syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.This review provides a theoretical basis and reference for the in-depth understanding of the positive role of TMTFs in COVID-19 treatment. | Guangxu Xiao Simeng Wang Ruijiao Wang Li Tan Shibo Ma Shuang He Guanwei Fan Yan Zhu Ming Lyu | 2023 | Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2023，3，4： | 1 |
