1Composition design of superhigh strength maraging stainless steels using a cluster model显示文摘The composition characteristics of maraging stainless steels were studied in the present work investigation using a cluster-plus-glue-atom model. The least solubility limit of high-temperature austenite to form martensite in basic Fe–Ni–Cr corresponds to the cluster formula [NiFe12]Cr3,where NiFe12is a cuboctahedron centered by Ni and surrounded by 12 Fe atoms in FCC structure and Cr serves as glue atoms. A cluster formula [NiFe12](Cr2Ni) with surplus Ni was then determined to ensure the second phase(Ni3M) precipitation,based on which new multicomponent alloys [(Ni,Cu)16Fe192](Cr32(Ni,Mo,Ti,Nb,Al,V)16) were designed. These alloys were prepared by copper mould suction casting method,then solid-solution treated at 1273 K for 1 h followed by water-quenching,and finally aged at 783 K for 3 h. The experimental results showed that the multi-element alloying results in Ni3M precipitation on the martensite,which enhances the strengths of alloys sharply after ageing treatment. Among them,the aged [(Cu4Ni12)Fe192](Cr32(Ni8.5Mo2Ti2Nb0.5Al1V1)) alloy(Fe74.91Ni8.82Cr11.62Mo1.34Ti0.67Nb0.32Al0.19V0.36Cu1.78wt%) has higher tensile strengths with YS?1456 MPa and UTS?1494 MPa. 2Effect of Wheel Load on Wheel Vibration and Sound Radiation显示文摘The current researches of wheel vibration and sound radiation mainly focus on the low noise damped wheel. Compared with the traditional research, the relationship between the sound and wheel/rail contact is difficulty and worth studying. However, there are few studies on the effect of wheel load on wheel vibration and sound radiation. In this paper, laboratory test carried out in a semi-anechoic room investigates the effect of wheel load on wheel natural frequencies, damping ratios, wheel vibration and its sound radiation. The laboratory test results show that the vibration of the wheel and total sound radiation decrease significantly with the increase of the wheel load from 0 t to 1 t. The sound energy level of the wheel decreases by 3.7 d B. When the wheel load exceeds 1 t, the attenuation trend of the vibration and sound radiation of the wheel becomes slow. And the increase of the wheel load causes the growth of the wheel natural frequencies and the mode damping ratios. Based on the finite element method(FEM) and boundary element method(BEM), a rolling noise prediction model is developed to calculate the influence of wheel load on the wheel vibration and sound radiation. In the calculation, the used wheel/rail excitation is the measured wheel/rail roughness. The calculated results show that the sound power level of the wheel decreases by about 0.4 dB when the wheel load increases by 0.5 t. The sound radiation of the wheel decreases slowly with wheel load increase, and this conclusion is verified by the field test. 3Effects of light quality on growth rates and pigments of Chaetoceros gracilis(Bacillariophyceae)显示文摘Light is an important parameter in algal culturing.In this work,the effects of different light qualities on growth of the marine diatom Chaetoceros gracilis are evaluated.The cells were cultured under light quantum flux density of 60μmol photons/(m2·s)with nine light qualities:LED red light(LR),LED blue light(LB),LED red plus LED blue light(LR+LB),LED white light(LW),fluorescent white light(FW),and combinations of LW and FW lights with increased proportions of red or blue light(FW+LR,FW+LB,LW+LR,and LW+LB).Blue light promoted the growth of C.gracilis largely.Three light qualities,FW+LR,LW+LR,and LR,resulted in the lowest growth rate.Both chlorophyll and carotenoids reached the highest level under LB and the lowest level under LR among monochromatic light sources;however,increasing of the proportion of blue or red light in the white light induced an increase of the chlorophyll and carotenoid concentrations.Light absorption ability of microalgae was critical for the growth of these organisms,as we observed a positive correlation between the extinction coefficient at different wavelengths and the specific growth rate.These findings are of importance to improve the culturing of this alga in bioreactors.LI Yongfu LI Ruiqian YI Xiaoyan 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,3:2

5Quantum dots-hydrogel composites for biomedical applications显示文摘Quantum dots-hydrogel composites are promising new materials that have attracted extensive attention due to their incomparable biocompatibility and acceptable biodegradability, leading to enormous potential applications for various fields. This review summarizes the recent advances in quantum dots-hydrogel composites with a focus on synthesis methods, including hydrogel gelation in quantum dots(QDs) solution, embedding prepared QDs into hydrogels after gelation, forming QDs in situ within the preformed gel and cross-linking via QDs to form hydrogels. In particularly, biomedical applications as bioimaging,biosensing and drug delivery are also reviewed, followed by a discussion on the inherent challenges of design optimization, biocompatibility and bimodal applications and the prospect of the future development. 6Aqueous synthesis of 79%efficient AgInGaS/ZnS quantum dots for extremely high color rendering white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Over the past few decades,I-III-VI quantum dots(QDs)have attracted considerable attention due to their large Stokes shifts,good eco-friendliness,and wide tunable emissions.In this work,a facile microwave-assisted aqueous route using glutathione(GSH)and citric acid(CA)as dual stabilizers is introduced to synthesize AgInGaS/ZnS(AIGS/ZnS)core/shell QDs.An exceptional photoluminescence quantum yield(PL QY)as high as 79%is successfully achieved,boosting the best performance of water-dispersible AIGS QDs.By varying the Ag/Ga ratio,the PL peak wavelength can be tuned from 547 to 616 nm,and luminescent hydrogel films with different colors are obtained by embedding AIGS/ZnS QDs in polyacrylamide/poly-vinyl alcohol(PAAm/PVA)hydrogels.The white light-emitting diode(WLED)with a high color rendering index(CRI)of 92.1(R_(9)=92.0)and a correlated color temperature(CCT)of 3022 K is fabricated using QDs-PAAm/PVA hydrogel films in combination with a blue InGaN LED chip,indicating that the as-prepared QDs are competitive color-conversion materials for WLEDs.Zhe Hu Hanxu Lu Wenjie Zhou Jinxin Wei Hanqing Dai b Hong Liu Zhiyong Xiong Fengxian Xie Wanlu Zhang Ruiqian Guo 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,3:1

13AgInS_(2)/ZnS quantum dots for noninvasive cervical cancer screening with intracellular pH sensing using fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy显示文摘Intracellular pH plays a critical role in biological functions,and abnormal pH values are related to various diseases.Here,we report on an intracellular pH sensor AgInS_(2)(AIS)/ZnS quantum dots(QDs)that show long fluorescence lifetimes of hundreds of nanoseconds and low toxicity.Fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy(FLIM)combined with AIS/ZnS QDs is used for the imaging of live cells in different pH buffers and different cell lines.The FLIM images of AIS/ZnS QDs in live cells demonstrate different intracellular pH values in different regions,such as in lysosomes or cytoplasm.This method can also distinguish cancer cells from normal cells,and the fluorescence lifetime difference of the AIS/ZnS QDs between the two types of cells is 100±7 ns.Most importantly,the exfoliated cervical cells from 20 patients are investigated using FLIM combined with AIS/ZnS QDs.The lifetime difference value between the normal and cervical cancer(CC)groups is 115±9 ns,and the difference between the normal and the precancerous lesion group is 64±9 ns.For the first time,the noninvasive method has been used for cervical cancer screening,and it has shown great improvement in sensitivity compared with a clinical conventional cytology examination.Wenhua Su Dan Yang Yulan Wang Yawei Kong Wanlu Zhang Jing Wang Yiyan Fei Ruiqian Guo Jiong Ma Lan Mi 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
14Uncover rock-climbing fish's secret of balancing tight adhesion and fast sliding for bioinspired robots显示文摘The underlying principle of the unique dynamic adaptive adhesion capability of a rock-climbing fish(Beaufortia kweichowensis)that can resist a pull-off force of 1000 times its weight while achieving simultaneous fast sliding(7.83 body lengths per second(BL/S))remains a mystery in the literature.This adhesion-sliding ability has long been sought for underwater robots.However,strong surface adhesion and fast sliding appear to contradict each other due to the need for high surface contact stress.The skillfully balanced mechanism of the tight surface adhesion and fast sliding of the rock-climbing fish is disclosed in this work.The Stefan force(0.1 mN/mm2)generated by micro-setae on pectoral fins and ventral fins leads to a 70 N/m2 adhesion force by conforming the overall body of the fish to a surface to form a sealing chamber.The pull-off force is neutralized simultaneously due to the negative pressure caused by the volumetric change of the chamber.The rock-climbing fish's micro-setae hydrodynamic interaction and sealing suction cup work cohesively to contribute to low friction and high pull-off-force resistance and can therefore slide rapidly while clinging to the surface.Inspired by this unique mechanism,an underwater robot is developed with incorporated structures that mimic the functionality of the rock-climbing fish via a micro-setae array attached to a soft self-adaptive chamber,a setup which demonstrates superiority over conventional structures in terms of balancing tight underwater adhesion and fast sliding.Wenjun Tan Chuang Zhang Ruiqian Wang Yuanyuan Fu Qin Chen Yongliang Yang Wenxue Wang Mingjun Zhang Ning Xi Lianqing Liu 2023National Science Review2023,10,8:0

16A paternal protein facilitates sperm RNA delivery to regulate zygotic development显示文摘Sperm contributes essential paternal factors,including the paternal genome,centrosome,and oocyte-activation signals,to sexual reproduction.However,it remains unresolved how sperm contributes its RNA molecules to regulate early embryonic development.Here,we show that the Caenorhabditis elegans paternal protein SPE-11 assembles into granules during meiotic divisions of spermatogenesis and later matures into a perinuclear structure where sperm RNAs localize.We reconstitute an SPE-11 liquid-phase scaffold in vitro and find that SPE-11 condensates incorporate the nematode RNA,which,in turn,promotes SPE-11 phase separation.Loss of SPE-11 does not affect sperm motility or fertilization but causes pleiotropic development defects in early embryos,and spe-11 mutant males reduce m RNA levels of genes crucial for an oocyte-to-embryo transition or embryonic development.These results reveal that SPE-11 undergoes phase separation and associates with sperm RNAs that are delivered to oocytes during fertilization,providing insights into how a paternal protein regulates early embryonic development.Dongdong Li Shijing Huang Yongping Chai Ruiqian Zhao Jing Gong Qiangfeng Cliff Zhang Guangshuo Ou Wenyu Wen 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10:0
17Constructing bimodal nanoprobe based on Gd:AgInS_(2)/ZnS quantum dots for fluorometric/magnetic resonance imaging in mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)hold great promise in regenerative medicine and received overwhelm-ing concerns to promote their therapeutic effects.Owing to the shortage of MSCs-specific biomarkers,bimodal imaging nanoprobes with integrated complementary information are of great importance in ameliorating the efficacy of MSCs terminal tracking.In this study,a noninvasive dual-mode imaging nanoprobe with enhanced detection sensitivity and spatial resolution based on alloyed Gd:AgInS_(2)/ZnS quantum dots(QDs)was first fabricated through a microwave-assisted heating method.The QDs with red emissive fluorescence exhibit excellent biocompatibility in MSCs under a confocal microscope.As for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),the longitudinal relaxation rate of 11.1420 mM^(-1) S^(-1) of Gd:AgInS_(2)/ZnS QDs was achieved,which was 1.7 times higher than that of commercial MRI contrast agent(6.4667 mM^(-1) S^(-1)).Furthermore,the cellular internalization of Gd:AgInS_(2)/ZnS QDs exerts no significant effect on the adipogenesis of MSCs and is conducive to the observation of further adipogenic differentiation.Our work helps to verify the promising prospect to develop a bimodal nanoprobe of fluorescence/MRI based on Gd:AgInS_(2)/ZnS QDs,which could monitor the differentiation and migration of MSCs for further therapeu-tic approach.Dan Yang Xian Wei Zhiyan Piao Zhongjie Cui Haiyang He Zhuoqi Wen Wanlu Zhang Le Wang Shiliang Mei Ruiqian Guo 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,17:0
18Covert Communication with a Spectrum Sharing Relay in the Finite Blocklength Regime显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the feasibility and performance of the covert communication with a spectrum sharing relay in the finite blocklength regime.Specifically,the relay opportunistically forwards the source's messages to the primary receiver or conveys the covert messages to its own receiver via the sharing spectrum,while the warden attempts to detect the transmission.First,we derive a lower bound on the covertness constraint,and the analytical expressions of both the primary average effective covert throughput(AECT)and sum AECT are presented by considering the overall decoding error performance.Then,we formulate two optimization problems to maximize the primary and sum AECT respectively by optimizing the blocklength and the transmit power at the source and the relay.Our examinations show that there exists an optimal blocklength to maximize the primary and sum AECT.Besides,it is revealed that,to maximize the primary AECT,the optimal transmit power of each hop increases as its channel quality deteriorates.Furthermore,in the optimization for maximizing the sum AECT,the optimal transmit power at the source equals to zero when the channel quality from relay to the secondary receiver is not weaker than that from relay to the primary receiver.Ruiqian Ma Weiwei Yang Hui Shi Xingbo Lu Jue Liu 2023China Communications2023,20,4:0
19Dynamic Precipitation of Laves Phase and Grain Boundary Features in Warm Deformed FeCrAl Alloy:Effect of Zr显示文摘Warm compression deformation of Fe-13.5%Cr-4.7%Al-2.0%Mo-0.70%Nb-0.40Ta(wt%)(FeCrAl)and Fe-13.5%Cr-4.7%Al-2.0%Mo-0.45%Nb-0.40Ta-0.11Zr(wt%)(FeCrAl-Zr)ferritic stainless steel was performed by a thermal simulation machine Gleeble 3800 at 600°C and strain rates of 0.01-10 s^(-1).Before deformation,all the samples were solution-annealed for 2 h at 1150°C for FeCrAl alloy and 1250°C for FeCrAl-Zr alloy.The strain rate has little or no effect on peak stress,and the precipitates in matrix or grain boundary precipitates(GBPs)have no difference in the samples deformed at the strain rate 0.01 s^(-1)and 1 s^(-1)both in FeCrAl and FeCrAl-Zr alloys.The addition of Zr increased the proportion of low-angle grain boundaries(LAGBs).The Laves phase in FeCrAl alloy precipitated uniform in the matrix,while in FeCrAl-Zr alloy Laves phase precipitated at grain boundary and formed GBP.The LAGBs andΣ3 coincident site lattice(CSL)grain boundary both increased in FeCrAl-Zr alloy,which possessed some beneficial properties such as high-temperature creep resistance to the Fe-Cr-Al alloy.More interesting,twins were created by warm deformation,which was difficult in typical bcc ferrite alloy.These results could be expected to provide guidance for subsequent warm working processes for the alloy.Wenbo Liu Zhe Liu Huiqun Liu Peinan Du Ruiqian Zhang Qing Wang 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,12:0
20Balancing efficiency and transparency in organic transparent photovoltaics显示文摘The challenges in transparent photovoltaic(TPV)fields are still that the device transparency and efficiency are difficult to be balanced to meet the requirements of practical applications.In this study,we systematically investigated the interrelationship between photovoltaic film properties,optical transmission,and photovoltaic performances in the near-infrared harvesting organic TPVs.The results indicate that the photovoltaic film thickness determines the TPV’s transparency and meanwhile affects the device efficiency;by contrast,the donor-acceptor ratio only affects device efficiency and has little effect on transparency.By controlling the film thickness and donor-acceptor ratio,the average visible transmission(AVT)of TPVs can be precisely managed in the range of 40%-85%,and the device efficiency can achieve as high as 4.06%and 2.38%while the AVT exceeds 70%and 80%,respectively.Importantly,the large area(~10 cm^(2))TPV modules and ultra-flexible devices were then successfully prepared based on the systematical study.Ruiqian Meng Qianqing Jiang Dianyi Liu 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:0
