| 1 | Prognostic nutritional index is an independent prognostic factor for gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination显示文摘Objective: The predictive and prognostic role of prognostic nutritional index(PNI) in gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination remains unclear. This study aims to explore the role of the PNI in predicting outcomes of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination.Methods: A total of 660 patients diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma with peritoneal metastasis between January 2000 and April 2014 at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yatsen University were retrospectively analyzed. The clinicopathologic characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients with peritoneal dissemination were analyzed.Results: Compared with PNI-high group, PNI-low group was correlated with advanced age(P=0.036), worse performance status(P<0.001), higher frequency of ascites(P<0.001) and higher frequency of multisite distant metastasis(P<0.001). Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that PNI-high group had a significantly longer median overall survival than PNI-low group(13.13 vs. 9.03 months, P<0.001). Multivariate survival analysis revealed that Borrmann type IV(P=0.014), presence of ascites(P=0.017) and lower PNI(P=0.041) were independent poor prognostic factors, and palliative surgery(P<0.001) and first-line chemotherapy(P<0.001) were good prognostic factors. For patients receiving palliative surgery, the postoperative morbidity rates in the PNI-low group and PNIhigh group were 9.1% and 9.9%, respectively(P=0.797). | 3 | Seafloor geodetic network establishment and key technologies显示文摘Seafloor geodetic network construction involves the development of geodetic station shelter, network configuration design, location selection and layout, surveying strategy, observation model establishment and optimization, data processing strategy and so on. This paper tries to present main technological problems involved in the seafloor geodetic network construction, and seek the technically feasible solutions. Basic conceptions of developing seafloor geodetic station shelters for shallow sea and deep-sea are described respectively. The overall criteria of seafloor geodetic network construction for submarine navigation and those of network design for crustal motion monitoring are both proposed. In order to enhance application performances of the seafloor geodetic network, the seafloor network configuration should prefer a symmetrical network structure. The sea surface tracking line measurements for determining the seafloor geodetic station position should also adopt an approximately symmetrical configuration, and we recommend circle tracking line observations combined with cross-shaped line(or double cross-shape line) observations for the seafloor positioning mode. As to the offset correction between the Global Navigation Satellite System antenna phase center and the acoustic transducer, it is recommended to combine the calibration through external measurements and model parameter estimation. Besides, it is suggested to correct the sound speed error with a combination of observation value correction and parameterized model correction, and to mainly use the model correction to reduce the influence of acoustic ray error on the seafloor positioning. Following the proposed basic designs, experiments are performed in shallow sea area and deep-sea area respectively. | 4 | Possible solar forcing of climate variability in the past 4000 years inferred from a proxy record at the southern margin of Tarim Basin显示文摘A ca. 4000a decadal-resolution climate proxy record of the mean grain-size from a lake (or mash) sediment at the southern margin of the Tarim Basin, correlates visu- ally with the atmospheric △14C, record from tree ring (residual △14C, solar proxy)and the GISP2 ice core 8O record (tem- peralure proxy). In general, △14 C maxima (solar minima) are coincident With cold (wet) periods in the study area and cold periods in the (;reenland ice core. Power spectrum analysis revealed statislically significant periodicities of 196a, 121a, 97a, 62a, 45a and 33—30a, which are similar to those prin- cipal solar-oscillation periods as inferred from the atmos- pheric radiocarbon and other proxy records. | 5 | Simulation and Experimental Investigation of Jetting Penetrator Charge at Large Stand-off Distance显示文摘In order to study and apply the penetration performance of jetting penetrator charge at long stand-off distance, three jetting penetrator charges(JPC), including spherical cone liner, truncated wide-angle liner and spherical segment liner, are designed. The numerical simulation analysis of the formation, elongation and penetration processes of rod-like jet is conducted by using LS-DYNA software. And the penetrating test is carried out at long stand-off distance. The test results show that the rod-like jet formed by the optimized spherical segment liner can pierce through a 90mm thick 45# steel target at 20 charge diameters(CD) stand-off distance when the charge detonation mode is a central point initiation, and the penetration depth can be up to 1.6CD. | 7 | Expression of SoxC Transcription Factors during Zebrafish Retinal and Optic Nerve Regeneration显示文摘The SoxC transcription factors(Sox4,Sox11,and Sox12) play important roles in the development of the vertebrate eye and retina. However,their expression and function during retinal and optic nerve regeneration remain elusive. In this study,we investigated the expression and possible functions of the SoxC genes after retinal and optic nerve injury in adult zebrafish. We found that among the five SoxC members,Sox11b was strongly induced in BrdU-positive cells in the inner nuclear layer(INL) after retinal injury,and morpholino-mediated Sox11b-knockdown significantly reduced the number of proliferating cells in the INL at 4 days post-injury. After optic nerve lesion,both Sox11a and Sox11b were strongly expressed in retinal ganglion cells(RGCs),and knockdown of both Sox11a and Sox11b inhibited RGC axon regrowth in retinal explants. | 8 | Gene Cloning and Expression of the Pyrroline-5-carboxylate Reductase Gene of Perennial Ryegrass(Lolium perenne)显示文摘Salt and drought limit the range of applications of perennial ryegrass(Lolium perenne L.), which is one of the important turf and forage grasses. Previous studies have suggested that pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase(P5CR) might play a central role in proline accumulation in plants that are responsive to stresses. In the present study, the Lolium perenne L. pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase(LpP 5CR) gene was cloned from leaves of the cultivar ‘Derby' using the RACE technique. The full-length LpP 5CR gene was 1 047 bp in length, which comprised an open reading frame(ORF) of 840 bp in size. Sequence alignment revealed that the putative Lp P5 CR had a 94.3% similarity to Ta P5 CR. q RT-PCR displayed that the mR NA levels of the LpP 5CR gene were almost the same as that in the roots, stems, and leaves of perennial ryegrass seedlings subjected to normal condition or NaC l treatment for 1 h. Moreover, the transcription level of LpP 5CR was up- or down- regulated with Na Cl, polyethylene glycol(PEG), cold, or abscisic acid(ABA) treatment for 3 to 48 h. In addition, confocal microscopy localized the GFP-Lp P5 CR fusion protein to the cytoplasm of onion epidermal cells. | 10 | The preliminary studies on prevention of TIPSS shunt stenosis with ^(103) Pd stents显示文摘To evaluate the role about prevention of shunt stenosis after transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic stent shunt (TIPSS) by 103 Pd stents, 103Pd stents and general stents are placed respectively in 18 healthy swines after TIPSS. Angiography, pathological dissection and inspection of lumen area by light microscope are made respectively in the two groups at 4 and 8 weeks after TIPSS. Portal angiography showed that stenosis occured in 2 cases of the radiation group and 3 cases in the control group at 4 weeks. Occlusion was found in all of the radiation group and part stenosis appeared in 2 cases of the radiation group and 3 cases in control group at 4 weeks. Occlusion existed in all of the ra- diation group and part stenosis appeared in the control group at 8 weeks. Thickness of vascular wall of hepatic vein segment in scope of stents is (3.64±1.01) mm for the radiation group (12.95MBq) and (2.24±1.02) mm for the control group. | 12 | Dynamic blood single-cell immune responses in patients with COVID-19显示文摘The 2019 coronavirus disease(COVID-19)outbreak caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is an ongoing global health emergency.However,the virus'pathogenesis remains unclear,and there is no cure for the disease.We investigated the dynamic changes of blood immune response in patients with COVID-19 at different stages by using 5'gene expression,T cell receptor(TCR),and B cell receptors(BCR)V(D)J transcriptome analysis at a single-cell resolution.We obtained single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)data of 341,420 peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and 185,430 donotypic T cells and 28,802 donotypic B cells from 25 samples of 16 patients with COVID-19 for dynamic studies.In addition,we used three control samples.We found expansion of dendritic cells(DCs),CD14+monocytes,and megakaryocytes progenitor cells(MP)/platelets and a reduction of naive CD4+T lymphocytes in patients with COVID-19,along with a significant decrease of CD8+T lymphocytes,and natural killer cells(NKs)in patients in critical condition.The type I interferon(IFN-I),mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and ferroptosis pathways were activated while the disease was active,and recovered gradually after patient conditions improved.Consistent with this finding,the mRNA level of IFN-I signal-induced gene IFI27 was significantly increased in patients with COVID-19 compared with that of the controls in a validation cohort that included 38 patients and 35 controls.The concentration of interferon-a(IFN-a)in the serum of patients with COVID-19 increased significantly compared with that of the controls in an additional cohort of 215 patients with COVID-19 and 106 controls,further suggesting the important role of the IFN-I pathway in the immune response of COVID-19.TCR and BCR sequences analyses indicated that patients with COVID-19 developed specific immune responses against SARS-CoV-2 antigens.Our study reveals a dynamic landscape of human blood immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection,providing clues for therapeutic potentials in treating COVID-19. | Lulin Huang Yi Shi Bo Gong Li Jiang Zhixin Zhang Xiaoqi Liu Jialiang Yang Yongquan He Zhilin Jiang Ling Zhong Juan Tang Chunfang You Qi Jiang Bo Long Tao Zeng Mei Luo Fanwei Zeng Fanxin Zeng Shuqiang Wang Xingxiang Yang Zhenglin Yang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,4: | 4 |

The eclogite has undergone high-temperature deformation, thus forming omphacite lattice preferred orientation. In addition to creep dislocation, the omphacite ductile deformation may have other mechanisms, such as diffusion creep and grain boundary migration. 2. The main-phase deformation of eclogite is coaxial, but asymmetry strain also exists due to strain partitioning in the Dabie erogenic belt. 3.The twin measured by the universal stage is (100), indicating that omphacite high-T deformation was superimposed by low-T deformation. 4. | 19 | Changes in Nutritive Materials in Off-season Mango in Flower Bud Differentiation Stage显示文摘Under off-season production mode,change laws of nutritive materials in leaves of fruiting mother branches of mango in flowering process induced by different agents were investigated. The results showed that the flowering time of mango trees in the potassium nitrate treatment was earlier than the ethephon treatment by 7 d,and changes trends of materials in leaves of the potassium nitrate and ethephon treatments were substantially the same. The nutritive materials in leaves showed trends of increasing at first and decreasing then. In early flower bud differentiation stage,soluble sugar and starch in leaves increased rapidly,and content of soluble protein also increased rapidly and showed its their peak values,thereby providing energy substances and structural substances demanded by flower bud formation. With flower bud differentiation going on,soluble sugar,starch and soluble protein decreased gradually.
