1Research on the Mechanism of Penetration Increase by Flux in A-TIG Welding显示文摘The mechanism of penetration depth increased by activating flux in activating tungsten inert gas (A-TIG) weldingwas studied by measuring the distribution of trace element Bi in the weld and monitoring the change of arc voltageduring A-TIG welding of stainless steel 0Crl8Ni9 with fluxes SiO2 and TiO2. The results show that the mechanismof penetration depth in A-TIG welding depends on the sort of flux used. The weld pool convection after coating theflux SiO2 and flux TiO2 is changed inversely compared with convectional TIG welding without flux. The arc voltageis increased by flux SiO2 whilst flux TiO2 does not have effect on the arc voltage. The reason of penetration depthincrease for SiO2 is due to the constriction of arc plasma and the change of surface tension gradient. 2Strength Prediction of Aluminum–Stainless Steel-Pulsed TIG Welding–Brazing Joints with RSM and ANN显示文摘Pulsed TIG welding–brazing process was applied to join aluminum with stainless steel dissimilar metals. Major parameters that affect the joint property significantly were identified as pulsed peak current, base current, pulse on time,and frequency by pre-experiments. A sample was established according to central composite design. Based on the sample,response surface methodology(RSM) and artificial neural networks(ANN) were employed to predict the tensile strength of the joints separately. With RSM, a significant and rational mathematical model was established to predict the joint strength.With ANN, a modified back-propagation algorithm consisting of one input layer with four neurons, one hidden layer with eight neurons, and one output layer with one neuron was trained for predicting the strength. 4Negative association of time in range and urinary albumin excretion rate in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus:a retrospective study of inpatients显示文摘Background:Time in range(TIR)refers to the time an individual spends within their target glucose range,which now has been popularized as an important metric to classify glycemic management and also recognized as an important outcome of current diabetes therapies.This study aimed to investigate the association between TIR and the severity of the urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the data of 1014 inpatients with T2DM at the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Peking University International Hospital,China.TIR was defined as the percentage of blood glucose within the target range of 3.90-10.00 mmol/L.Urine samples for assessment of UAER were collected for 3 consecutive days from the start of hospitalization.Results:The TIR values for patients with normal urine levels of albumin,microalbuminuria,and macroalbuminuria were 70%±20%,50%±20%,and 30%±20%,respectively(allP<0.001).The patients were stratified according to quartiles of TIR as follows:quartile(Q)1,<55%;Q2,55%-72%;Q3,73%-83%;and Q4,>83%.The incidences of microalbuminuria in Q1,Q2,Q3,and Q4 were 41.1%,21.6%,7.1%,and 5.5%(allP<0.001),respectively.The respective incidences of macroalbuminuria were 24.2%,1.1%,1.4%,and 0%(allP<0.001).In multinomial logistic regression analyses,TIR was significantly correlated with microalbuminuria(odds ratio[OR]0.58,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.52-0.65,P<0.001)and macroalbuminuria(OR 0.26,95%CI:0.18-0.38,P<0.001)after adjusting for age,sex,body mass index,diabetes duration,systolic blood pressure,and levels of triglycerides,glycosylated hemoglobin A1c,and creatinine.Conclusion:The proportion of blood glucose in TIR is closely related to the severity of UAER in patients with T2DM.Sanbao Chai Shanshan Wu Sixu Xin Ning Yuan Jianbin Sun Xiaomei Zhang Linong Ji 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,9:3
5Bio-inspired Superhydrophobic Coating with Low Hydrate Adhesion for Hydrate Mitigation显示文摘In this paper,we fabricate a biomimetic superhydrophobic coating on an X90 pipeline steel substrate by electrodeposition of copper,hydrothermal treatment to form a copper oxide layer,and subsequent surface modification with Stearic Acid(SA).The coating exhibits static contact angles of water of 160°±-3.1°in the air and 170.7°±2.5°in cyclopentane,indicating the strongly water-repelling nature of the coating.The morphologies of the cyclopentane hydrate formed on steel substrates with and without the superhydrophobic coating are investigated.The results show that the hydrate particle on the coating exhibits spherical morphology and herein the interfacial contact area and adhesion force to the solid surface can be essentially reduced.The adhesion force reduction may be resulted by the decrease in the contact area between the hydrate and the solid surface.Sanbao Dong Mingzhong Li Chenwei Liu Jie Zhang Gang Chen 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,5:2
6Microstructure Evolutions and Properties of Al-Cu Alloy Joint in the Pulsed Power Ultrasonic-Assisted GMAW显示文摘The pulsed power ultrasonic-assisted gas metal arc welding(PU-GMAW)is a new development hybrid welding method.The influences of the pulsed power ultrasonic on the microstructure evolution of the welded joint of Al-Cu alloy were investigated by using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscope and electron back scattering diffraction.The results showed that the efficient heat input in the PU-GMAW was increased by above 100%compared with the traditional GMAW.The grain and eutectic of the PU-GMAW weld seam were refined compared with that of the GMAW.Cavitation and acoustic streaming induced the dendrite fragmentation(α-Al)and heterogeneous nucleation,which were the main reasons for the grain refinement.The microhardness of the PU-GMAW welded joint was improved compared with that of the GMAW owing to the change of the eutectic and grain.Chao Chen Chenglei Fan Zeng Liu Xiaoyu Cai Sanbao Lin Yimin Zhuo 2020Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2020,33,10:1

16A review of Space-Air-Ground integrated remote sensing techniques for atmospheric monitoring显示文摘Currently,the three-dimensional(3D)distribution and characteristics of air pollution cannot be understood based on the application of any single atmospheric monitoring technology.Long-term,high-precision and large-scale 3D atmospheric monitoring might become practical by combining heterogeneous modern technologies;for this purpose,the SpaceAir-Ground integrated system is a promising concept.In this system,optical remote sensing technologies employing fixed or mobile platforms are used as the main means for groundbased observations.Tethered balloons,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)and airborne platforms serve as the air-based observation segment.The final part,satellite remote sensing,corresponds to space-based observations.Aside from obtaining the 3D distribution of air pollution,research on emission estimation and pollution mechanisms has been extensively implemented based on the strengths of this system or some portion of it.Moreover,further research on the fusion of multi-source data,optimization of inversion algorithms,and coupling with atmospheric models is of great importance to the realization of this system.Bin Zhou Sanbao Zhang Ruibin Xue Jiayi Li Shanshan Wang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,1:1

19Effect of welding speed on the material flow patterns in friction stir welding of AZ31 magnesium alloy显示文摘The clear zigzag-line pattern on transverse cross sections can be used to explain the formation mechanism of the weld nugget when friction stir welded AZ31 magnesium alloy without any other insert material is used as mark. It provides a simple and useful method to research the joining mechanism of friction stir welding. The rotation speed is kept at 1000 r/min and the welding speed changes from 120 mm/min to 600 mm/min. The macrostructure on the transverse cross section was divided into several parts by faying surface. The results show that the shape and formation procedure of the weld nugget change with the welding speed. There are two main material flows in the weld nugget:one is from the advancing side and the other is from the retreating side.
