5Influence of sodium dodecyl sulfate coating on adsorption of methylene blue by biochar from aqueous solution显示文摘Biochar is regarded as a promising new class of materials due to its multifunctional character and the possibility of effectively coupling different properties. With increasing introduction into the environment, environmental chemicals such as surfactants will load onto the released biochar and change its physicochemical characteristics and adsorption behavior toward pollutants. In this study, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS), as one type of anionic surfactant, was coated onto biochar with different loading amounts. The influence of SDS loading onto biochar's physicochemical properties were investigated by Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, zeta potential and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET) surface area and pore size distribution analysis. Results showed that the pore size of the biochar decreased gradually with the increase of SDS loading because of the surface-adsorption and pore-blocking processes; the p H of the point of zero charge(pHPZC) decreased with increasing SDS loading. Although surface-coating with SDS decreased the pore size of the biochar, its adsorption capacity toward Methylene Blue(MB) significantly increased. The biochar-bound SDS introduced functional groups and negative charges to the biochar surface, which could thus enhance the adsorption of MB via hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction. 7Risk factors and clinical outcomes of incomplete endoscopic resection of small rectal neuroendocrine tumors in southern China:a 9-year data analysis显示文摘Background:The histologically complete resection(CR)rate of small rectal neuroendocrine tumors(RNETs)is unsatisfactory at the first endoscopy.Risk factors and clinical outcomes associated with incomplete resection(IR)have not been explicitly elucidated.This study aims to explore the relevant factors of IR.Methods:This retrospective study reviewed patients with small RNETs(10mm)in eight centers from January 2013 to December 2021.Clinicopathological characteristics and clinical outcomes were compared between the CR and IR groups,and the polypectomy and advanced treatment groups.Results:Of the 326 patients included,83(25.5%)were diagnosed with IR.Polypectomy(odds ratio[OR]=16.86),a central depression(OR=7.50),and treatment in the early period(OR=2.60)were closely associated with IR.Further analysis revealed that an atypical hyperemic appearance(OR=7.49)and treatment in the early period(OR=2.54)were significantly associated with the inappropriate use of polypectomy(both P<0.05).In addition,a total of 265(81.3%)were followed up with a median follow-up period of 30.9 months.No death,metastasis,or recurrence was found during the follow-up period.Conclusions:Polypectomy,a central depression,and treatment in the early period were risk factors for IR.Further,an atypical hyperemic appearance and treatment in the early period were significant predisposing factors for inappropriate choice of polypectomy.For histologically incompletely resected small RNETs,follow-up may be a safe and feasible alternative to rigorous salvage therapy.Xiaoduan Zhuang Shaoheng Zhang Guiquan Chen Zongqi Luo Huiqin Hu Wenfeng Huang Yu Guo Yongwen Ouyang Liang Peng Qing Qing Huiting Chen Bingsheng Li Jie Chen Xinying Wang 2023Gastroenterology Report2023,11,1:0
8Microstructural Evolution during Tensile Deformation in TRC-ZA21 Magnesium Alloy with Different Loading Directions and Strain Rates显示文摘The variation of texture characteristics and activation of deformation mechanism in magnesium alloys can be achieved by addition of RE and Ca elements and subsequently affect the microstructure evolution during deformation process.In this manuscript,the effects of loading direction and strain rate on mechanical properties,microstructural characteristics,texture evolution and deformation mechanism in TRC-ZA21 magnesium alloy sheet were investigated.Moreover,orientation dependence and strain rate sensitivity of deformation mechanism were also discussed.The results showed that evident difference in mechanical properties in TRC-ZA21 alloy exhibited by the changes in loading direction and strain rate.The variations in grain orientation and basal texture characteristic were attributed to the grain rotation behavior during the plastic deformation,dominated by deformation mechanism.Basal slip,extension twinning and prismatic slip played different contributions to plastic deformation behavior and presented orientation dependence and strain rate sensitivity.The activities of prismatic slip and extension twinning both enhance with increasing strain rate.The phenomenon of weakened effect of twinning and promoted role of prismatic slip was presented to coordinate strain compatibility during plastic deformation.Yun Zhang Chen Jiang Shaoheng Sun Wei Xu Quan Yang Yongjun Zhang Shiwei Tian Xiaoge Duan Zhe Xu Haitao Jiang 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,2:0
9Deformation Mechanism in Fe_(61)Mn_(18)Si_(11)Cr_(10) Medium Entropy Alloy Under Different Strain Rates显示文摘We introduce a non-equiatomic Fe_(61)Mn_(18)Si_(11)Cr_(10) medium entropy alloy designed by subjecting it to transformation-induced plasticity upon deformation at room temperature. Microstructure characterization carried out using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) shows a homogeneous solid solution FCC + BCC structured dual phase. Investigations on the deformation substructures at specific strain levels via EBSD reveal the deformation-induced transformations of γ→α′ and γ→ ε. The strengths, particularly yield strength, of the designed alloy are found to be higher than these of the well-studied five component FeMnNiCoCr system for the introduction of the hard phase( α′-martensite).
