| 5 | Transcriptome analysis of purple pigment formation in Colocasia esculenta显示文摘Taro(Colocasia esculenta(L.)Schott)is an important crop in Africa,Southeast Asia,and subtropics and is used as a food and medicine.The purple color pigmentation is an appealing character in taro.We sampled taro corms of the cultivar‘Lipu Taro’at four developmental stages,including LPYS1(without purple pigment,50 days of development(DOD)),LPYS2(very few purple pigments,75 DOD),LPYS3(moderate purple pigments,115 DOD)and LPYS4(high purple pigments,205 DOD).The purpose of our study was to identify the key genes underpinning the purple pigmentation in taro based on RNA-sequencing.Through RNA-Seq,6453 differentially expressed transcripts(DETs)were identified between purple and non-purple pigmented samples.We identified 41 and 12 flavonoid and anthocyanin related DETs transcripts,respectively.These DETs were upregulated at LPYS2,LPYS3,and LPYS4 as compared to LPYS1,indicating their positive contribution to the color formation in taro.Moreover,we identified several DETs encoding for transcription factors,including MYB and bHLH,known to be major regulators of structural genes involved in the flavonoid-anthocyanin pathway.Finally,we reported several plant hormones(ethylene,auxin,gibberellin,jasmonic acid,and cytokinin)related DETs,which are predicted to play important roles in the corm coloration.Different regulation of transcripts representing the flavonoid-anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway,plant hormone transduction pathway,and transcription factors may have key roles in purple pigmentation in taro.Our findings will facilitate future research on improving the quality and appeal of taro. | FANGLIAN HE WEIQING DONG SHAOLONG WEI ZUYANG QIU JINGLI HUANG HUIPING JIANG SHIYU HUANG LILI LIU | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,3: | 2 |

| 7 | In situ carrier tuning in high temperature superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O(8+δ)by potassium deposition显示文摘We report a successful tuning of the hole doping level over a wide range in high temperature superconductor Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O_(8+δ)(Bi2212) through successive in situ potassium(K) deposition. By taking high resolution angleresolved photoemission measurements on the Fermi surface and band structure of an overdoped Bi2212(T_c= 76 K) at different stages of K deposition, we found that the area of the hole-like Fermi surface around the Brillouin zone corner(p,p) shrinks with increasing K deposition. This indicates a continuous hole concentration change from initial 0.26 to eventual 0.09 after extensive K deposition, a net doping level change of 0.17 that makes it possible to bring Bi2212 from being originally overdoped, to optimally-doped, and eventually becoming heavily underdoped. The electronic behaviors with K deposition are consistent with those of Bi2212 samples with different hole doping levels. These results demonstrate that K deposition is an effective way of in situ controlling the hole concentration in Bi2212. | 10 | Study on the electrochemical behavior of Mg and Al ions in LiCl-KCl melt and preparation of Mg-Al alloy显示文摘The electrochemical behavior of Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)in LiCl-KCl(mass 4:1)melt at 973 K was studied on a Mo electrode systematically by cyclic voltammetry,square wave voltammetry and chronopotentiometry.The results showed that the reductions of Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)were reversible processes controlled by the rate of the mass transfer.When Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)coexisted in LiCl-KCl melt,they had no significant effect on the reduction potential of each other.The equilibrium potentials of Mg^(2+)/Mg and Al^(3+)/Al were obtained by open circuit potential method.Their apparent standard potentials were also calculated in this system and the values were-2.52 V vs Cl_(2)/Cl^(−),-1.66 V vs Cl_(2)/Cl^(−),respectively.Correspondingly,the apparent Gibbs free energies of Mg^(2+)/Mg and Al^(3+)/Al were-485.71 kJ/mol^(-1),-480.78 kJ/mol^(-1).Finally,potentiostatic electrolysis was performed on a Mo electrode in LiCl-KCl-MgCl_(2)-AlCl_(3)(the mass ratio of MgCl_(2) to AlCl_(3) was 10:1)melt at different potentials.The components of the deposits were characterized by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy.The study revealed that the content of Al in the deposit decreased as the overpotential increased and Al tended to segregate at the grain boundaries. | Shaolong Li Yusi Che Chenyao Li Yongchun Shu Jilin He Bin Yang Jianxun Song | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,3: | 1 |

| 18 | Preparation and vibrational modes of C60·2CHBr3显示文摘C60·2CHBr3 polycrystalline powder was prepared by the solution method. The vibrational modes of the sample were studied by Raman scattering and infrared adsorption techniques. The Raman spectra showed that the Ag modes were downshifted by 4-5 cm1, while the Hg(1) mode was unshifted. The analyses of the downshifts of the Ag modes revealed that a small amount of electrons were transferred from the hydrogen atoms to the C60 molecules. In the infrared spectra, the F1u modes of the pristine C60 were unshifted after the intercalation with CHBr3. However, the vibrational modes of CHBr3 changed remarkably. The C-Br stretching mode was downshifted by ~4 cm1. The adsorption of the C-H twisting mode was weakened obviously, and the adsorption of the C-H stretching mode was not observed. These results exhibited that there were nonnegligible interactions between CHBr3 and C60 molecules, and that the strongest interaction took place between the hydrogen atoms and the C60 molecules. The interaction should induce not only the changes of the vibrational modes reported here, but also those of the electronic states. | 19 | Direct evidence of two-dimensional electron gas-like band structures in hafnene显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)honeycomb-like materials have been widely studied due to their fascinating properties.In particular,2D honeycomb-like transition metal monolayers,which are good 2D ferromagnet candidates,have attracted intense research interest.The honeycomb-like structure of hafnium,hafnene,has been successfully fabricated on the Ir(111)substrate.However,its electronic structure has not yet been directly elucidated.Here,we report the electronic structure of hafnene grown on the Ir(111)substrate using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES).Our results indicate that the presence of spin-orbit coupling and Hubbard interaction suppresses the earlier predicted Dirac cones at the K points of the Brillouin zone.The observed band structure of hafnene near the Fermi level is very simple:an electron pocket centered at theΓpoint of the Brillouin zone.This electron pocket shows typical parabolic dispersion,and its estimated electron effective mass and electron density are approximately 1.8_(me)and 7×10^(14)cm^(-2),respectively.Our results demonstrate the existence of 2D electron gas in hafnene grown on the Ir(111)substrate and therefore provide key information for potential hafnene-based device applications. | Shaozhu Xiao Meng Liu Linfei Li Jiatao Sun Yeliang Wang Shaolong He | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,4: | 0 |
