1Recent gravity changes in China Mainland显示文摘Based on results of the mobile gravity measurements of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China and Digital Earthquake Observation Network of China, this paper shows the pattern of temporal gravity changes in China mainland on a time scale of 2-3 years since 1998, and gives an analysis of the patterns. 2Analytical study on abnormal change in time-variable gravity at Yichang seismostation before the M5.1 Badong earthquake显示文摘An M5.1 earthquake occurred in Badong County,only 66 km from the Three Gorges Dam,on December 16,2013. The continuous gravity observation data obtained at Yichang seismostation nearest to the epicenter( 96 km) were analyzed,and it was found that the continuous gravity observation data obtained in this rainy season did not exhibit a characteristic of seasonal change in gravity identical to that in the past years,and thereafter the M5.1 Badong earthquake occurred. Numerical simulation revealed that the water storage and discharge of the Three Gorges reservoir generated seasonal change in gravity,and the changes in atmospheric pressure and gravity load were not the main sources of the seasonal change of continuous gravity observation data whether in respect of magnitude or phase and did not have obvious breaking change on annual variation before the earthquake. Through analysis of the seasonal change data observed on the same site including cavern temperature,rainfall data and global terrestrial water model( CPC) simulated water load,it was thought that,in the observation room with cavern temperature change of only-0.11°C / a at Yichang seismostation,the seasonal change of continuous gravity observation result mainly originated from the seasonal change in rainfall. In the case that the changes in rainfall and its water load did not have evident breaking change on annual variation law before the earthquake,if the M5.1 Badong earthquake was the cause of the breaking change on annual variation law in Yichang this time,then it was believed through analysis of crust expansion ratio that similar anomaly should occur at a crust expansion and compression intersection,no more than 100 km away from the epicenter.Wei Jin Shen Chongyang Liu Shaoming Dai Miao 2014Geodesy and Geodynamics2014,5,1:4
3Temporal gravity changes before the 2008 Yutian Ms7.3 earthquake显示文摘Based on the data of the repeated gravity observation network in Chinese mainland since 1998,we analyzed the temporal changes of regional gravity field before the 2008 Yutian Ms7.3 earthquake.The result shows some mid-to-long term(two to ten years)changes during the earthquake's preparation.Notable features are a gravity increase lasting several years and a relatively large-scaled gradient zone of gravity change,the former indicating a continuous energy accumulation and the latter a possible location of seismic rupture.These gravity changes showed a trend of increase-accelerated increase-decelerated increase,similar to that of the Tangshan Ms7.8 earthquake in 1976.The maximum accumulated gravity change related to the earthquake reached 200×10-8 ms-2.Shen Chongyang Li Hui Sun Shaoan Yang Guangliang Xuan Songbai Tan Hongbo Liu Shaoming 2012Geodesy and Geodynamics2012,3,1:3
4Engineering Cu_(1.96)S/Co_(9)S_(8) with sulfur vacancy and heterostructure as an efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for water splitting显示文摘Defect and interface engineering have been recognized as efficient strategies for developing high-performance electrocatalysts.However,it is still challenging to couple defect and interface engineering in transition metal sulfides and understand their dynamic evolution process during electrocatalysis.Herein,we developed one-step pyrolysis of bimetallic sulfide to construct S vacancy-rich Cu_(1.96)S/Co_(9)S_(8) heterostructure by controlling the critical decomposition temperature.The as-synthesized Cu_(1.96)S/Co_(9)S_(8) exhibits excellent bifunctional electrocatalytic performance,with a low overpotential of 99 and 200 mV at 10 mA cm−2 towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in 1.0 mol/L KOH electrolyte,respectively.A symmetric two-electrode cell with Cu_(1.96)S/Co_(9)S_(8) delivered a current density of 10 mA cm^(−2) at a low voltage of 1.43 V and showed long-term stability for 200 h.A series of in/ex-situ techniques revealed that the electrochemical reconfiguration only appeared in the OER process,resulting in the CoOOH/CuO and SO42−species promoting OER performance.Meanwhile,the S vacancy and heterostructure interface in Cu_(1.96)S/Co_(9)S_(8) were proved to optimize the electronic structure and the adsorption of intermediates for HER by density function theory(DFT)simulations.This work provides a promising strategy to construct metal sulfides with rich defects and heterogeneous interfaces and understand their dynamic evolution process for electrochemical storage and conversion devices.Yuanhua Xiao Ya Shen Dangcheng Su Shiwei Zhang Jinlin Yang Dafeng Yan Shaoming Fang Xuezhao Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,23:1
5Loss of lncRNA SNHG8 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition by destabilizing CDH1 mRNA显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lnc RNAs) are widely involved in a variety of biological processes, including epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT). In the current study, we found that lnc RNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 8(SNHG8) was tightly correlated with EMT-associated gene signatures, and was down-regulated by Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1(ZEB1) during EMT progress. Functionally, knockdown of SNHG8 induced EMT in epithelial cells, through destabilizing the CDH1 m RNA dependent on a 17-nucleotide sequence shared by SNHG8 and CDH1. In addition, analysis with public database showed that SNHG8 tended to be down-regulated in different cancer types and the lower expression of SNHG8 predicted poorer prognosis.Taken together, our study reports a ZEB1-repressed lnc RNA SNHG8 which is important for stabilizing CDH1 m RNA, thereby maintaining the epithelial status of epithelial cells.Ping He Cheng Zhang Guoqiang Chen Shaoming Shen 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,11:1

7Elastic Buffering Layer on CuS Enabling High-Rate and Long-Life Sodium-Ion Storage显示文摘The latest view suggests the inactive core,surface pulverization,and poly sulfide shuttling effect of metal sulfides are responsible for their low capacity and poor cycling performance in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).Whereas overcoming the above problems based on conventional nanoengineering is not efficient enough.In this work,erythrocyte-like CuS microspheres with an elastic buffering layer of ultrathin poly aniline(PANI) were synthesized through one-step selfassembly growth,followed by in situ polymerization of aniline.When CuS@PANI is used as anode electrode in SIBs,it delivers high capacity,ultrahigh rate capability(500 mAh gat 0.1 A g,and 214.5 mAh gat 40 A g),and superior cycling life of over 7500 cycles at 20 A g.A series of in/ex situ characterization techniques were applied to investigate the structural evolution and sodium-ion storage mechanism.The PANI swollen with electrolyte can stabilize solid electrolyte interface layer,benefit the ion transport/charge transfer at the PANI/electrolyte interface,and restrain the size growth of Cu particles in confined space.Moreover,finite element analyses and density functional simulations confirm that the PANI film effectively buffers the volume expansion,suppresses the surface pulverization,and traps the poly sulfide.Yuanhua Xiao Feng Yue Ziqing Wen Ya Shen Dangcheng Su Huazhang Guo Xianhong Rui Liming Zhou Shaoming Fang Yan Yu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:1
8Salt effect on the liquid–liquid equilibrium of the ternary (water + phenol + methyl isobutyl ketone) system: Experimental data and correlation显示文摘The effects of NaCl, KCl and Na_2SO_4 on the liquid–liquid equilibrium(LLE) data for the ternary system, water+ phenol + methyl isobutyl ketone, were determined at 0.101 MPa and 333.15 K and 343.15 K.The nonrandom two-liquid(NRTL) model was used to correlate the experimental data and to yield corresponding binary interaction parameters for these salt containing systems.The Hand and Othmer–Tobias equations were used to confirm the dependability of the determined LLE data in this work.Distribution coefficient and selectivity were used to evaluate the extraction performance of methyl isobutyl ketone with the existence of salt.The magnitude of salt effect on the water + phenol + methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK) system is in the following order: Na_2SO_4>NaCl>KCl.Yun Chen Kangning Xiong Shuai Shen Huimin Wang Shaoming Zhou Libo Li 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:1
9Dynamic changes of gravity fields before and after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake(Ms8.0)显示文摘The pattern evolution and dynamic mechanism of the dynamic changes of regional gravity fields occurring before and after the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake are analyzed,based on five epochs of 1998-2007 mobile gravity data from the middle-south section of the north-south seismic belt,and two epochs of field research data collected after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake in combination with GPS data,leveling observations,and geotectonic environment data.The regional dynamic gravity changes demonstrate the effects of the eastward flow of solid matter in the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau and the preparation of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake(2-10 yr).The two most meaningful gravity indicators of the Wenchuan earthquake preparation are the positive(increasing) gravity changes occurring over many years in the southwest epicenter and the largescale gradient zone of gravity variation,with the cumulative difference between the two sides of the gradient zone of gravity exceeding 200 μGal.The positive gravity changes may facilitate a constant energy accumulation and the gradient belt may support seismic shear breakage.Overall,the gravity changes associated with the earthquake preparation indicate a pattern of accelerating increase-decelerating increase-earthquake occurrence.The Songpan-Ganzi block generally displays a negative gravity change,providing evidence for a local upwarping of the deep crust-mantle and an interior expansion of the deep crust attributable to high temperatures.The viewpoint is consistent with the dilatant mechanism for earthquake preparation.Shen Chongyang Li Hui Sun Wenke Huang Jinshui Sun Shaoan Xuan Songbai Tan Hongbo Liu Shaoming 2012Geodesy and Geodynamics2012,3,3:1
