2On the structural controllability of distributed systems with local structure changes显示文摘This paper analyzes the structural controllability of distributed systems, which are composed of many subsystems and have complicated interconnections. Different from traditional methods in centralized systems where global information is required, the method proposed in this paper is based on local structural properties and simplified interconnections, by which the computational burden is highly decreased and the implementation is tractable. Moreover, a necessary condition for global structural controllability is obtained by combining local information. 3Genome-wide analysis of expression quantitative trait loci(eQTLs)reveals the regulatory architecture of gene expression variation in the storage roots of sweet potato显示文摘Dissecting the genetic regulation of gene expression is critical for understanding phenotypic variation and species evolution.However,our understanding of the transcriptional variability in sweet potato remains limited.Here,we analyzed two publicly available datasets to explore the landscape of transcriptomic variations and its genetic basis in the storage roots of sweet potato.The comprehensive analysis identified a total of 724,438 high-confidence single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)and 26,026 expressed genes.Expression quantitative trait locus(eQTL)analysis revealed 4408 eQTLs regulating the expression of 3646 genes,including 2261 local eQTLs and 2147 distant eQTLs.Two distant eQTL hotspots were found with target genes significantly enriched in specific functional classifications.By combining the information from regulatory network analyses,eQTLs and association mapping,we found that IbMYB1-2 acts as a master regulator and is the major gene responsible for the activation of anthocyanin biosynthesis in the storage roots of sweet potato.Our study provides the first insight into the genetic architecture of genome-wide expression variation in sweet potato and can be used to investigate the potential effects of genetic variants on key agronomic traits in sweet potato.Lei Zhang Yicheng Yu Tianye Shi Meng Kou Jian Sun Tao Xu Qiang Li Shaoyuan Wu Qinghe Cao Wenqian Hou Zongyun Li 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2

5Numerical Investigation on the Flow Mechanism of Multi-Peak Frequency Feature of Rotating Instability显示文摘In this paper,the rotating instability(RI)in an axial compressor has been investigated numerically in order to examine the capability of URANS method to simulate its typical characteristics of RI broadband humps with multi-peak frequencies(MPFs)and further to uncover the underlying flow mechanism.A full-annulus modeling solution has been adopted to fully capture the wide range of different length-scale flow disturbances that circumferentially propagating around the compressor rotor.During the transient computing process,long-term monitoring up to 50 revolutions has been carried out to achieve a fine frequency resolution,and that would be essential for resolving the MPFs with small frequency interval.It is shown that the MPFs feature of RI has been successfully captured by the full-annulus URANS approach,and also its frequency range and spectral feature agree well with the experimental results.Further,with a circumferential mode decomposition on the MPFs characteristics of RI,it has been found that the MPFs result from the interaction between long-and short-scale flow disturbances which circumferentially propagate around the compressor rotor near the clearance region.zDetailed examination on the numerical three dimensional flow field indicates that the short-scale disturbance is induced by the unsteady oscillation of tip clearance vortexes with inter-passage phase delay.The long-scale disturbance is caused by the mistuning of the wave number of the short-scale disturbance and the blade number within the whole annulus.WANG Hao WU Yadong YUE Shaoyuan WANG Yan'gang 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,2:1
6Why psychosis is frequently associated with Parkinson's disease?显示文摘Psychosis is a common non-motor symptom of Parkinson's disease whose pathogenesis remains poorly understood.Parkinson's disease in conjunction with psychosis has been shown to induce injury to extracorticospinal tracts as well as within some cortical areas.In this study,Parkinson's disease patients with psychosis who did not receive antipsychotic treatment and those without psychosis underwent diffusion tensor imaging.Results revealed that in Parkinson's disease patients with psychosis,damage to the left frontal lobe,bilateral occipital lobe,left cingulated gyrus,and left hippocampal white-matter fibers were greater than damage to the substantia nigra or the globus pallidus.Damage to white-matter fibers in the right frontal lobe and right cingulate gyrus were also more severe than in the globus pallidus,but not the substantia nigra.Damage to frontal lobe and cingulate gyrus white-matter fibers was more apparent than that to occipital or hippocampal fiber damage.Compared with Parkinson's disease patients without psychosis,those with psychosis had significantly lower fractional anisotropy ratios of left frontal lobe,bilateral occipital lobe,left cingulated gyrus,and left hippocampus to ipsilateral substantia nigra or globus pallidus,indicating more severe damage to white-matter fibers.These results suggest that psychosis associated with Parkinson's disease is probably associated with an imbalance in the ratio of white-matter fibers between brain regions associated with psychiatric symptoms(frontal lobe,occipital lobe,cingulate gyrus,and hippocampus) and those associated with the motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease(the substantia nigra and globus pallidus).The relatively greater damage to white-matter fibers in psychiatric symptom-related brain regions than in extracorticospinal tracts might explain why psychosis often occurs in Parkinson's disease patients.Jingmei Zhong Shaoyuan Wu Ying Zhao Hui Chen Naiwei Zhao Kunwen Zheng Zhong Zhao Wenli Chen Bo Wang Kunhua Wu 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,27:1

9Satisfactory Model Predictive Control for a Hybrid Single-phase Seven-level Converter显示文摘Today,many hybrid multilevel converters with flying capacitors are being proposed.Besides the practicality of these converters in reducing the switching devices count and the cost,it is challenging to balance their capacitor voltage charge.The unbalanced capacitors restrain the converters’performance and lead to failure in delivering the required current.This paper proposes a model predictive control(MPC)for a seven-level converter based on an active neutral point clamped converter cascaded with an H-bridge.A conventional MPC uses a single cost function with two terms,one for current tracking and the other for capacitor balancing,which needs an accurate weighting factor to balance them.In this work,the suggested MPC adopts a satisfactory optimization technique.It evaluates the capacitor charge membership to a nominal voltage range to define the degree of freedom in which to optimize the current tracking problem.This transforms the relationship between the two cost terms into a more collaborative relationship.The proposed MPC improves the output current quality and balances the capacitor charge with the least number of computations.Experimental and simulation results have validated the controller^effectiveness.Mohamed Tamim Touati Shaoyuan Li Jing Wu Muhammad Ali Muhammad Mansoor Khan 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,5:0
