| 1 | Palaeoecological Analysis of Trace Fossil Sinusichnus sinuosus from the Middle Triassic Guanling Formationin Southwestern China显示文摘The Luoping Biota discovered from the early Middle Triassic(Anisian) Guanling Formation of southwestern China represents a fully recovered shallow marine ecosystem, marking the end point of Early Triassic biotic recovery following the end-Permian mass extinction. Contemporaneously preserved are prolific trace fossils, which offer good opportunities to understand the palaeoecology of marine invertebrates from a fully recovered shallow marine ecosystem. Here we present a newly discovered sinuous branching burrow from the fossil-bearing unit in Member II of the Guanling Formation. Several features, including the horizontal regular sinuous nature, the branching pattern, typical H-junction, and the small wavelength/amplitude ratio of these sinuous structures within the burrow systems justify assignment of these traces as Sinusichnus sinuosus, a trace possibly produced by decapod crustaceans. Close association of S. sinuosus with Rhizocorallium commune suggests a deposit-feeding strategy of these trace makers. The newly reported Anisian material from the Guanling Formation in Luoping represents first report of Sinusichnus from South China. The global record of Sinusichnus occurrence suggests that these burrows might have an older history than Early Middle Triassic. | Mao Luo Yi-Ming Gong G. R. | 7 | A prognosis model for predicting immunotherapy response of esophageal cancer based on oxidative stress-related signatures显示文摘Oxidative stress(OS)is intimately associated with tumorigenesis and has been considered a potential therapeutic strategy.However,the OS-associated therapeutic target for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)remains unconfirmed.In our study,gene expression data of ESCC and clinical information from public databases were downloaded.Through LASSO-Cox regression analysis,a risk score(RS)signature map of prognosis was constructed and performed external verification with the GSE53625 cohort.The ESTIMATE,xCell,CIBERSORT,TIMER,and ImmuCellAI algorithms were employed to analyze infiltrating immune cells and generate an immune microenvironment(IM).Afterward,functional enrichment analysis clarified the underlying mechanism of the model.Nomogram was utilized for forecasting the survival rate of individual ESCC cases.As a result,we successfully constructed an OS-related genes(OSRGs)model and found that the survival rate of high-risk groups was lower than that of low-risk groups.The AUC of the ROC verified the strong prediction performance of the signal in these two cohorts further.According to independent prognostic analysis,the RS was identified as an independent risk factor for ESCC.The nomogram and follow-up data revealed that the RS possesses favorable predictive value for the prognosis of ESCC patients.qRT-PCR detection demonstrated increased expression of MPC1,COX6C,CYB5R3,CASP7,and CYCS in esophageal cancer patients.In conclusion,we have constructed an OSRGs model for ESCC to predict patients’prognosis,offering a novel insight into the potential application of the OSRGs model in ESCC. | JING GUO CHANGYONG TONG JIANGUANG SHI XINJIAN LI XUEQIN CHEN | 2024 | Oncology Research2024,32,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Multidisciplinary Modeling and Optimization Method of Remote Sensing Satellite Parameters Based on SysML-CEA显示文摘To enhance the efficiency of system modeling and optimization in the conceptual design stage of satellite parameters,a system modeling and optimization method based on System Modeling Language and Co-evolutionary Algorithm is proposed.At first,the objectives of satellite mission and optimization problems are clarified,and a design matrix of discipline structure is constructed to process the coupling relationship of design variables and constraints of the orbit,payload,power and quality disciplines.In order to solve the problem of increasing nonlinearity and coupling between these disciplines while using a standard collaborative optimization algorithm,an improved genetic algorithm is proposed and applied to system-level and discipline-level models.Finally,the CO model of satellite parameters is solved through the collaborative simulation of Cameo Systems Modeler(CSM)and MATLAB.The result obtained shows that the method proposed in this paper for the conceptual design phase of satellite parameters is efficient and feasible.It can shorten the project cycle effectively and additionally provide a reference for the optimal design of other complex projects. | Changyong Chu Chengfang Yin Shuo Shi Shaohui Su Chang Chen | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,5: | 0 |
