4Electroacupuncture regulates the stress-injury-repair chain of events after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Inflammation after stroke is the main cause of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Cascading events after injury can lead to cell death. Heat shock protein 70 and other endogenous injury-signaling molecules are released by damaged cells, which can lead to systemic stress reactions. Protecting the brain through repair begins with the stress-injury-repair signaling chain. This study aimed to verify whether acupuncture acts through this chain to facilitate effective treatment of ischemic stroke. Rat models of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury were established by Zea Longa's method, and injury sites were identified by assessing neurological function, 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining, and hematoxylin-eosin staining. Electroacupuncture at acupoints Baihui(DU20) and Zusanli(ST36) was performed in the model rats with dilatational waves, delivered for 20 minutes a day at 2–100 Hz and an amplitude of 2 m A. We analyzed the blood serum from the rats and found that inflammatory cytokines affected the levels of adrenotrophin and heat shock protein 70, each of which followed a similar bimodal curve. Specifically, electroacupuncture lowered the peak levels of adrenocorticotrophic hormone and heat shock protein 70. 6A Fault Diagnosis Method of Power Systems Based on an Improved Adaptive Fuzzy Spiking Neural P Systems and PSO Algorithms显示文摘A new fault diagnosis method based on improved Adaptive fuzzy spiking neural P systems(in short,AFSN P systems) and Particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is presented to improve the efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis for power systems in this paper. AFSN P systems are a novel kind of computing models with parallel computing and learning ability. Based on our previous works, this paper focuses on AFSN P systems inference algorithms and learning algorithms and builds the fault diagnosis model using improved AFSN P systems for diagnosing effectively. The process of diagnosis based on AFSN P systems is expressed by matrix successfully to improve the rate of diagnosis eminently. Furthermore, particle swarm optimization algorithm is introduced into the learning algorithm of AFSN P systems, thus the convergence speed of diagnosis has a big progress. An example of 4-node system is given to verify the effectiveness of this method. 7Salivary mycobiome dysbiosis and its potential impact on bacteriome shifts and host immunity in oral lichen planus显示文摘The biodiversity of the mycobiome,an important component of the oral microbial community,and the roles of fungal–bacterial and fungal–immune system interactions in the pathogenesis of oral lichen planus (OLP) remain largely uncharacterized.In this study,we sequenced the salivary mycobiome and bacteriome associated with OLP.First,we described the dysbiosis of the microbiome in OLP patients,which exhibits lower levels of fungi and higher levels of bacteria.Significantly higher abundances of the fungi Candida and Aspergillus in patients with reticular OLP and of Alternaria and Sclerotiniaceae_unidentified in patients with erosive OLP were observed compared to the healthy controls.Aspergillus was identified as an “OLP-associated” fungus because of its detection at a higher frequency than in the healthy controls.Second,the co-occurrence patterns of the salivary mycobiome–bacteriome demonstrated negative associations between specific fungal and bacterial taxa identified in the healthy controls,which diminished in the reticular OLP group and even became positive in the erosive OLP group.Moreover,the oral cavities of OLP patients were colonized by dysbiotic oral flora with lower ecological network complexity and decreased fungal–Firmicutes and increased fungal–Bacteroidetes sub-networks.Third,several keystone fungal genera (Bovista,Erysiphe,Psathyrella,etc.) demonstrated significant correlations with clinical scores and IL-17 levels.Thus,we established that fungal dysbiosis is associated with the aggravation of OLP.Fungal dysbiosis could alter the salivary bacteriome or may reflect a direct effect of host immunity,which participates in OLP pathogenesis.Yan Li Kun Wang Bo Zhang Qichao Tu Yufei Yao Bomiao Cui Biao Ren Jinzhi He Xin Shen Joy D.Van Nostrand Jizhong Zhou Wenyuan Shi Liying Xiao Changqing Lu Xuedong Zhou 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,3:8

10Strain hardening behavior of Mg-Y alloys after extrusion process显示文摘The strain hardening is an effective mode of enhancing mechanical properties in alloys.In this work,the strain hardening behaviors of Mg-xY(x=1,2,and 3 wt%)after extrusion process was investigated using uniaxial tensile tests.Results suggest that the Mg-xY alloys are composed ofα-Mg with a little amount of Mg24Y5 phase.The average grain size reduces from 19.8μm to 12.2μm as the Y content adds from 1 wt%to 2 wt%.Nevertheless,when Y content reaches 3 wt%,the grain size reaches to 12.9μm,which is close to that of Mg-2Y.The strain hardening rate decreases from 883 MPa to 798 MPa at(σ-σ0.2)=40 MPa,and Mg-2Y and Mg-3Y have the similar strain hardening response.Moreover,Mg-1Y shows an obvious ascending stage after the steep decreasing stage,which is mainly caused by the activation of twinning.The strain hardening behavior of Mg-xY is explained based on understanding the roles of the deformation mechanisms via deformation microstructure analysis and Visco-Plastic Self Consistent(VPSC)model.The variation of strain hardening characteristics with increasing Y content is related to the effects of grain size and texture.Chaoyue Zhao Ziyan Li Jiahui Shi Xianhua Chen Teng Tu Zhu Luo Renju Cheng Andrej Atrens Fusheng Pan 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:6
11Sm-Nd isotopic geochronologyof the Yinachang Fe-Cu-REE deposit at Wuding,Yunnan Province and its genetic significance显示文摘Sm-Nd isotope systematics of ores and fluorites places precise time constraints on REE mineralization of the Yinachang Fe-Cu-REE deposit in Yunnan Province which occur in the Proterozoic Kunyan group. The ore-related fluorites contain high abundant REE, and show a strong enrichment of LREE and a positive Eu anomaly, which is in marked contrast to post-ore fluorites that are HREE en-riched. The Sm-Nd isochron ages of the ores and fluorites are 1539±40 Ma and 1617±100 Ma, respectively, and calculated εNd(t) are ?4.6 and ?3.2. Accurate age determinations of the mineralization demonstrate that the REE mineralization took place during early Mesoproterozoic. Together with other geological evidence from the ore deposit, the primary REE-bearing ore-forming fluids are suggested to have been derived from the Enriched Mantle, and the Yinachang Fe-Cu-REE ore deposit is of volcanic exhalation- hydro-thermal sedimentary origin. 13Baicalin Reduces Early Brain Injury after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage in Rats显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the effect of baicalin on subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH) in rats and explore the potential mechanisms. Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats underwent experimental SAH and received treatment with baicalin at 10 or 50 mg/kg after 2 and 12 h of SAH. Neurological scores, brain water content, Evans-blue extravasation, and levels of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase(SOD), myeloperoxidase(MPO), and malondialdehyde(MDA) were measured 24 h after SAH. Expression of nuclear factor erythroid-related factor 2(Nrf2), NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1(NQO1), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9), aquaporin 4(AQP4), occludin, and zonulaoccludens-1(ZO-1) were detected in the brain by Western blot. Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) was detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-1β(IL-1β) were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Baicalin attenuated EBI 24 h after SAH in rats(P<0.05). Baicalin elevated neurological scores, GSH-Px, SOD, and increased the expression of Nrf2, NQO1, HO-1, occludin, and ZO-1 in SAH rats(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Baicalin reduced MPO, MDA, and the expression of MMP-9, AQP4, TNF-α, and IL-1β(P<0.05 or P<0.01). 14Multivariate predictive model for asymptomatic spontaneous bacterial peritonitis in patients with liver cirrhosis显示文摘BACKGROUNDSpontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) is a detrimental infection of the asciticfluid in liver cirrhosis patients, with high mortality and morbidity. Earlydiagnosis and timely antibiotic administration have successfully decreased themortality rate to 20%-25%. However, many patients cannot be diagnosed in theearly stages due to the absence of classical SBP symptoms. Early diagnosis ofasymptomatic SBP remains a great challenge in the clinic.AIMTo establish a multivariate predictive model for early diagnosis of asymptomaticSBP using positive microbial cultures from liver cirrhosis patients with ascites.METHODSA total of 98 asymptomatic SBP patients and 98 ascites liver cirrhosis patients withnegative microbial cultures were included in the case and control groups,respectively. Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis was performed toidentify potential indicators for asymptomatic SBP diagnosis. The diagnosticperformance of the model was estimated using the receiver operatingcharacteristic curve.RESULTSPatients in the case group were more likely to have advanced disease stages,cirrhosis related-complications, worsened hematology and ascites, and higher mortality. Based on multivariate analysis, the predictive model was as follows: y (P) = 0.018 + 0.312 × MELD (model of end-stage liver disease) + 0.263 × PMN(ascites polymorphonuclear) + 0.184 × N (blood neutrophil percentage) + 0.233 ×HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) + 0.189 × renal dysfunction. The area under thecurve value of the established model was 0.872, revealing its high diagnosticpotential. The diagnostic sensitivity was 73.5% (72/98), the specificity was 86.7%(85/98), and the diagnostic efficacy was 80.1%.CONCLUSIONOur predictive model is based on the MELD score, polymorphonuclear cells,blood N, hepatocellular carcinoma, and renal dysfunction. 15Application of Adaptive Fuzzy Spiking Neural P Systems in Fault Diagnosis of Power Systems显示文摘Adaptive fuzzy spiking neural P systems(AFSN P systems) are a novel kind of computing models with parallel computing and learning ability. Based on our existing works, AFSN P systems are applied to deal with the fault diagnosis problems of power systems and the uncertainty of action messages about protective relays and breakers, and a new fault diagnosis model of power systems is proposed with simple reasoning process and fast speed with parallel processing capabilities. The effectiveness of the fault diagnosis model is verified by some examples of fault diagnosis. 16Discrete energetic(~50-200 keV) electron events in the high-altitude cusp/polar cap/lobe显示文摘We identified 28 discrete electron events(DEEs) with enhanced fluxes at ~50-200 keV in the high-altitude cusp/polar cap/lobe,using the electron measurements by the BeiDa Image Electron Spectrometer(BD-IES) instrument onboard an inclined(55°)geosynchronous orbit(IGSO) satellite from October 2015 to January 2016. We find that among the 28 DEEs, 22 occur in the nightside and mostly in the northern cusp/polar cap/lobe, while 6 occur in the dayside and all in the southern cusp; 24 events correspond to an average interplanetary magnetic field(IMF) component B_z>0, 3 correspond to an average IMF B_z<0, and 1 has no OMNI IMF data. In these DEEs, the observed average omnidirectional electron differential flux generally fits well to a power-law spectrum, J^E^(-γ), with the spectral index y ranging from 2.6 to 4.6, while the average electron flux varies over three orders of magnitude from event to event. The spectral index of these cusp DEEs are(strongly) larger than the spectral index of solar wind superhalo electrons(radiation belt electrons) observed by the WIND 3 D Plasma & Energetic Particle instrument(the BD-IES). At^110 keV,the electron flux of DEEs in the cusp/polar cap/lobe shows a weak positive correlation with the solar wind superhalo electron flux but no obvious correlation with the radiation belt electron flux. 18Numerical study of three phase shifts and dual corrugation pitch modulated(CPM) DFB semiconductor lasers based on reconstruction equivalent chirp technology显示文摘A distributed feedback(DFB) semiconductor laser with three phase shifts based on reconstruction equivalent chirp(REC) technology is proposed and investigated numerically.With the combination of multiple phase shifts and corrugation pitch modulated(CPM) structure,we also propose a novel and more complex structure named dual CPM,which has a flatter light power distribution along the laser cavity compared with the true double phase shifts DFB laser diode(LD),while the P-I curves are nearly the same.The proposed dual CPM structure is also designed and analyzed based on REC technology.The simulation results show that,the DFB semiconductor laser with complex structure such as phase shifts,or even arbitrary variation of the grating period can be achieved equivalently and easily by changing the sampling structure.But its external characteristics are almost the same as those DFB lasers with true phase shifts,or true arbitrary variation of the grating period.The key advantage of the REC technology is that it varies only the sampling structure and keeps the seed grating(actual grating in sampling structure) period constant.So its fabrication needs only low-cost and standard holographic exposure technology.Therefore we believe this method can achieve the high-end and low-cost DFB LD for mass production.SHI YueChun TU XingHua LI SiMin ZHOU YaTing JIA LingHui CHEN XiangFei 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,35:4
19The long non-coding RNA expression profile of Coxsackievirus A16 infected RD cells identified by RNA-seq显示文摘Coxsackievirus A16(CVA16) is one of major pathogens of hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD) in children. Long non-coding RNAs(Inc RNAs) have been implicated in various biological processes,but they have not been associated with CVA16 infection. In this study, we comprehensively characterized the landscape of Inc RNAs of normal and CVA16 infected rhabdomyosarcoma(RD)cells using RNA-Seq to investigate the functional relevance of Inc RNAs. We showed that a total of 760 Inc RNAs were upregulated and 1210 Inc RNAs were downregulated. Out of these dysregulated Inc RNAs, 43.64% were intergenic, 22.31% were sense, 15.89% were intronic, 8.67% were bidirectional, 5.59% were antisense, 3.85% were s RNA host Inc RNAs and 0.05% were enhancer. Six dysregulated Inc RNAs were validated by quantitative PCR assays and the secondary structures of these Inc RNAs were projected. Moreover, we conducted a bioinformatics analysis of an Inc RNAs(ENST00000602478) to elucidate the diversity of modification and functions of Inc RNAs. In summary, the current study compared the dysregulated Inc RNAs profile upon CVA16 challenge and illustrated the intricate relationship between coding and Inc RNAs transcripts. 20Transurethral resection of the prostate is an independent risk factor for biochemical recurrence after radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer显示文摘Biochemical recurrence(BCR)is important for measuring the oncological outcomes of patients who undergo radical prostatectomy(RP).Whether transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP)has negative postoperative effects on oncological outcomes remains controversial.The primary aim of our retrospective study was to determine whether a history of TURP could affect the postoperative BCR rate.We retrospectively reviewed patients with prostate cancer(PCa)who had undergone RP between January 2009 and October 2017.Clinical data on age,prostate volume,serum prostate-specific antigen levels(PSA),biopsy Gleason score(GS),metastasis stage(TNM),D’Amico classification,and American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)classification were collected.Statistical analyses including Cox proportional hazard models and sensitivity analyses which included propensity score matching,were performed,and the inverse-probability-of-treatment-weighted estimator and standardized mortality ratio-weighted estimator were determined.We included 1083 patients,of which 118 had a history of TURP.Before matching,the non-TURP group differed from the TURP group with respect to GS(P=0.047),prostate volume(mean:45.19 vs 36.00 ml,P<0.001),and PSA level(mean:29.41 vs 15.11 ng ml?1,P=0.001).After adjusting for age,PSA level,T stage,N stage,M stage,and GS,the TURP group showed higher risk of BCR(hazard ratio[HR]:2.27,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.13–3.94,P=0.004).After matching(ratio 1:4),patients who underwent TURP were still more likely to develop BCR according to the adjusted propensity score(HR:2.00,95%CI:1.05–3.79,P=0.034).Among patients with PCa,those with a history of TURP were more likely to develop BCR after RP.Kun Jin Shi Qiu Xin-Yang Liao Xiao-Nan Zheng Xiang Tu Lian-Sha Tang Lu Yang Qiang Wei 2020Asian Journal of Andrology2020,22,2:4
