| 2 | Image matching algorithm based on SIFT using color and exposure information显示文摘Image matching based on scale invariant feature transform(SIFT) is one of the most popular image matching algorithms, which exhibits high robustness and accuracy. Grayscale images rather than color images are generally used to get SIFT descriptors in order to reduce the complexity. The regions which have a similar grayscale level but different hues tend to produce wrong matching results in this case. Therefore, the loss of color information may result in decreasing of matching ratio. An image matching algorithm based on SIFT is proposed, which adds a color offset and an exposure offset when converting color images to grayscale images in order to enhance the matching ratio. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively differentiate the regions with different colors but the similar grayscale level, and increase the matching ratio of image matching based on SIFT. | 3 | Tracing of dye molecules in living plants through NaGdF_4:Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)fluorescent nanoprobes显示文摘In this paper, we demonstrated trace of dye molecules in living plants. The NaGdF4:Yb^(3+),Er^(3+) nanoparticles probe was used to detect the rhodamine B(RhB) in bean sprout. It is found that the fluorescencedye can be efficiently imbibed during the growing process and the absorbance presented a position dependence effect, which was supported by the upconversion spectra and the fluorescent image characterization. In addition, the concentration of the residual RhB in bean sprout can be efficiently traced by the synthesized probe based on the fluorescent resonant energy transfer. Finally, the relation between the excitation power, concentration and the ratio of yellow to green emission are discussed in detail. | 5 | Clinical Efficacy of Surgical Removal of Deep Corneal Plant Foreign Bodies显示文摘Purpose:To describe a technique for removing deep corneal plant foreign bodies. Methods:Twelve patients (7 males and 5 females, aged 5 to 56 years).with plant foreign bodies embedded in the deep cornea were treated between July 2011 and December 2012. The course of disease ranged from 1 to 11 d. Four of the patients had wooden foreign bodies, 3 had bamboo foreign bodies, and 5 had flower thorns; all underwent surgical removal. During the surgery,a novel suture needle was used to remove the foreign bodies.For injuries with a deep tunnel caused by the foreign bodies,the tunnel was cut open with a keratome. The foreign bodies were then removed and necrotic tissue was thoroughly debrided.Incisions were closed with interrupted sutures. The corneal foreign bodies were collected postoperatively for fungus and bacterial culture and appropriatemedical treatment was provided. Results: Bacteria were identified in 3 cases, fungus in 3 cases, and no bacteria or fungus in 6 cases.All corneal foreign bodies were embedded deep in the corneal stroma without incidence of full-thickness corneal penetration or intraocular infection. Conclusion:Plant foreign bodies embedded in the deep cornea should be removed immediately. During the surgery, the foreign bodies and surrounding necrotic corneal stroma should be completely removed. | 20 | Cellular atlases of ovarian microenvironment alterations by diet and genetically-induced obesity显示文摘Obesity,which can arise from genetic or environmental factors,has been shown to cause serious damages to the reproductive system.The ovary,as one of the primary regulators of female fertility,is a complex organ comprised of heterogeneous cell types that work together to maintain a normal ovarian microenvironment(OME).Despite its importance,the effect of obesity on the entire ovary remains poorly documented.In this study,we performed ovary single-cell and nanoscale spatial RNA sequencing to investigate how the OME changed under different kinds of obesity,including high-fat diet(HFD)induced obesity and Leptin ablation induced obesity(OB).Our results demonstrate that OB,but not HFD,dramatically altered the proportion of ovarian granulosa cells,theca-interstitial cells,luteal cells,and endothelial cells.Furthermore,based on the spatial dynamics of follicular development,we defined four subpopulations of granulosa cell and found that obesity drastically disrupted the differentiation of mural granulosa cells from small to large antral follicles.Functionally,HFD enhanced follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)sensitivity and hormone conversion,while OB caused decreased sensitivity,inadequate steroid hormone conversion,and impaired follicular development.These differences can be explained by the differential expression pattern of the transcription factor Foxo1.Overall,our study provides a powerful and high-resolution resource for profiling obesity-induced OME and offers insights into the diverse effects of obesity on female reproductive disorders. | Yonghui Jiang Xueying Gao Yue Liu Xueqi Yan Huangcong Shi Rusong Zhao Zi-Jiang Chen Fei Gao Han Zhao Shigang Zhao | 2024 | Science China(Life Sciences)2024,67,1: | 0 |
