Extracting mineral alteration information using WorldView-3 data显示文摘The multispectral commercial satellite-WorldView-3(WV-3) has the highest spatial, spectral and radiation resolutions among the satellites currently and can generate good data in the shortwave infrared(SWIR). The study area is located in the Pobei area of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is rich in mineral resources. The spectral analyses of some typical altered hydroxy-bearing, iron-bearing, and carbonate-bearing minerals could establish several Principal Component Analysis(PCA) models and mineral indices, using the visible and near infrared(VNIR) and the shortwave infrared(SWIR) subsystems of WV-3 data. In addition, the Spectral Angle Method and the spectrum index tool of ENVI software were used to extract the relevant alteration information. The WV-3 data is well suited for identifying hydroxy-bearing alteration with rich SWIR bands which distinguish Al-OH-bearing from MgOH-bearing alteration. Hence, this study provides a basis for the prediction of mineral resources in the Pobei area and sets the foundation for WV-3 data to be used as an important tool in extracting alteration information and prospecting practices.Yaqin Sun Shufang Tian Baogang Di 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,5:13
An efficient visible-light photocatalyst for CO2 reduction fabricated by cobalt porphyrin and graphitic carbon nitride via covalent bonding显示文摘Nanoparticle photosensitizers possess technical advantages for photocatalytic reactions due to enhanced light harvesting and efficient charge transport. Here we report synthesis of semiconductor nanoparticles through covalent coupling and assembly of metalloporphyrin with condensed carbon nitride. The resultant nanoparticles consist of light harvesting component from the condensed carbon nitride and photocatalytic sites from the metalloporphyrins. This synergetic particle system effectively initiates efficient charge separation and transport and exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for CO2 reduction. The CO production rate can reach up to 57μmol/(g·h)with a selectivity of 79%over competing H2 evolution.Controlled experiments demonstrate that the combination of light harvesting with photocatalytic activity via covalent assembly is crucial for the high photocatalytic activity.Due to effective charge separation and transfer, the resultant nanoparticle photocatalysts show exceptional photo stability against photo-corrosion under light irradiation, enabling for long-term utilization. This research opens a new way for the development of stable, effective nanoparticle photocatalysts using naturally abundant porphyrin pigments.Shufang Tian Sudi Chen Xitong Ren Yaoqing Hu Haiyan Hu Jiajie Sun Feng Bai 2020Nano Research2020,13,10:9
Bottom-up fabrication of graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets modified with porphyrin via covalent bonding for photocatalytic H2 evolution显示文摘In order to broaden the absorption range of graphitic carbon nitride, one of the common methods is to couple the well-known photosensitizer porphyrin with graphitic carbon nitride through van der Waals weak in teractions. To date,to combine porphyrin with graphitic carbon nitridethrough covalent in teractions has not been settled. In this work, through rational molecular design,we successfully in corporated porphyrininto the matrixes of graphitic carbon nitride by covale nt bonding via on expot thermal copolymerization. The resulta nt material not only can wide nthe absorption range but also possess the enlarged specific surface area and construction intramolecular heterojunctions which can contributeto improve electron-holes separation efficiency. The resultant photocatalyst exhibited enhanced H2 production rate(7.6 mmol·g^-1·h^-1)and withthe apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)of 13.3%at 450 nm.At the same time, this method opens a way to fabricate graphitic carb on nitridenano sheets via bottom-up strategy.Shufang Tian Sudi Chen Xitong Ren Ronghui Cao Haiyan Hu Feng Bai 2019Nano Research2019,12,12:8
Human Settlement Analysis Based on Multi-temporal Remote Sensing Data: A Case Study of Xuzhou City, China显示文摘To evaluate urban human settlement, we propose a human settlement environment development index(HSEDI) model by choosing vegetation coverage, land surface temperature, impervious surfaces, slope, wetness, and water condition as the evaluation factors. We applied the proposed model to Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. Landsat-5 Thematic Mapper(TM) images from 1998 to 2010 and digital elevation model(DEM) data with a 30-m resolution were used to calculate the values of the six evaluation factors. The HSEDI value in Xuzhou City was found to be between 2.24 and 8.10 from 1998 to 2010, and it was further divided into five levels, uninhabitable, moderately uninhabitable, generally inhabitable, moderately inhabitable, and inhabitable. The best HSEDI value was in 2007. The generally inhabitable region was about 100.98 km^2, covering 30.87% of the total area in 2007; the moderately inhabitable region was about 170.58 km2 covering 52.15% of the total area; the inhabitable region was about 32.03 km^2, covering 9.79% of the total area; the percentage of the uninhabitable region was zero; and that of the moderately uninhabitable region was very small, less than 1.00%. Moreover, we analyzed the habitability in the respect of spatial patterns and change detection. Results show that the degraded regions of habitability quality are mainly located in the urban fringe and the improved regions are mainly located in the main urban and rural areas. Reason for the degraded habitability quality is the rapid progress of urbanization. However, the increase in urban green spaces and the construction of the main urban area promoted the improved habitability quality. Besides, we further analyzed socio-economic and socio-demographic data to confirm the results of the habitability analysis. The results indicate that the human settlement in Xuzhou City is in a satisfactory condition, but some efforts should be made to control the possible uninhabitable and moderately uninhabitable regions, and to improve the quality of the generally inhabitable regions.ZHU Jishuai TIAN Shufang TAN Kun DU Peijun 2016Chinese Geographical Science2016,26,3:5
Application of fractal content-gradient method for delineating geochemical anomalies associated with copper occurrences in the Yangla ore field,China显示文摘Fractal and multi-fractal content area method finds application in a wide variety of geological, geochemical and geophysical fields. In this study, the fractal content-gradient method was used on1:10,000 scale to delineate geochemical anomalies associated with copper mineralization.Analysis of geochemical data from the Yangla super large Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic ore district using the fractal content-gradient method, combined with other geological data from this area, indicates that oreprospecting in the ore district should focus on Cu as the main metal and Pb-Zn and Au as the auxiliary metals. The types of deposits include(in chronological order) re-formed sedimentary exhalative(SEDEX),skarns, porphyries, and hydrothermal vein-type deposits.Three ore-prospecting targets are divided on a S-N basis:(1) the Qulong exploration area,in which the targets are porphyry-type Cu deposits;(2) the Zongya exploration area, where the targets are porphyry-type Cu and hydrothermal vein-type Cu-Pb polymetallic deposits;and(3) the Zarelongma exploration area, characterized mainly skarn-type 'Yangla-style' massive sulfide Cu-Pb deposits. Our study demonstrates that the fractal content-gradient method is convenient, simple, rapid, and direct for delineating geochemical anomalies and for outlining potential exploration targets.Zhen Chen Jianping Chen Shufang Tian Bin Xu 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,1:3
Anomaly detection in smart grid based on encoder-decoder framework with recurrent neural network显示文摘Anomaly detection in smart grid is critical to enhance the reliability of power systems.Excessive manpower has to be involved in analyzing the measurement data collected from intelligent motoring devices while performance of anomaly detection is still not satisfactory. This is mainly because the inherent spatio-temporality and multi-dimensionality of the measurement data cannot be easily captured. In this paper,we propose an anomaly detection model based on encoder-decoder framework with recurrent neural network(RNN).In the model,an input time series is reconstructed and an anomaly can be detected by an unexpected high reconstruction error. Both Manhattan distance and the edit distance are used to evaluate the difference between an input time series and its reconstructed one. Finally,we validate the proposed model by using power demand data from University of California,Riverside(UCR) time series classification archive and IEEE 39 bus system simulation data. Results from the analysis demonstrate that the proposed encoder-decoder framework is able to successfully capture anomalies with a precision higher than 95%.Zheng Fengming Li Shufang Guo Zhimin Wu Bo Tian Shiming Pan Mingming 2017The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2017,24,6:2
Lithium-bearing Pegmatite Exploration in Western Altun,Xinjiang, using Remote-Sensing Technology显示文摘Western Altun in Xinjiang is an important area, where lithium(Li)-bearing pegmatites have been found in recent years. However, the complex terrain and harsh environment of western Altun exacerbates in prospecting for Li-bearing pegmatites.Therefore,remote-sensing techniques can be an effective means for prospecting Li-bearing pegmatites. In this study, the fault information and lithologyical information in the region were obtained using the median-resolution remotesensing image Landsat-8,the radar image Sentinel-1 and hyperspectral data GF-5.Using Landsat-8 data, the hydroxyl alteration information closely related to pegmatite in the region was extracted by principal component analysis, pseudoanomaly processing and other methods. The high spatial resolution remote-sensing data WorldView-2 and WorldView-3 short-wave infrared images were used and analyzed by principal component analysis(PCA),the band ratio method and multi-class machine learning(ML),combined with conventional thresholds specified the algorithms used to automatically extract Li-bearing pegmatite information. Finally, the Li-bearing pegmatite exploration area was determined, based on a comprehensive analysis of the faults, hydroxyl alteration lithology and Li-bearing pegmatite information.Field investigations have verified that the distribution of pegmatites in the central part of the study area is consistent with that of Li-bearing pegmatites extracted in this study. This study provides a new technique for prospecting Li-bearing pegmatites, which shows that remote-sensing technology possesses great potential for identifying lithium-bearing pegmatites, especially in areas that are not readily accessible.JIANG Qi DAI Jingjing WANG Denghong WANG Chenghui TIAN Shufang 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,2:2

Using remote sensing technology to monitor salt lake changes caused by climate change and melting glaciers:insights from Zabuye Salt Lake in Xizang显示文摘Zabuye Salt Lake(ZSL)in Xizang is the only saline lake in the world with natural crystalline lithium carbonate. As it is an important lithium production base in China, any changes of this lake are concerning.Global climate change(CC)has affected the hydrological conditions of glaciers, lakes, and ecosystems in the Tibetan Plateau(TP).With the aim of monitoring dynamic hydrological changes in ZSL and Lunggar Glaciers(LG)to identify factors governing lake changes, and to estimate the potential damage to grasslands and salt pans,Landsat remote sensing(RS)and meteorological data were used to do a series of experiments and analysis.Firstly, according to the spectral characteristics(SC),salt lake, glaciers, grasslands, and salt pans around the salt lake were extracted by band calculation(BC).Secondly, basin and water areas of the expanded lake were estimated using a shuttle radar topography mission(SRTM)digital elevation model(DEM).Thirdly, comprehensive analyses of lake and glacier area changes, and regional meteorological factors(annual average temperature, annual precipitation, and evaporation)were performed, and the results show that ZSL expanded at a rate of 5.28 km^(2)/a,it is likely to continue expanding.Expansion was closely related to the large-scale melting of a glacier caused by rising temperatures.Continued lake expansion(LE)will exert different effects on surrounding grasslands and salt pans,7.84 km^(2)of grassland and 2.7 km^(2)of salt pan will be submerged with every meter of water increase in the lake.Similar prediction methods was used to monitor other lakes on the TP.Mami Co,Selin Co,and Chaerhan salt lakes all expanded at different rates, and may potentially cause different levels of potential harm to surrounding grasslands and roads. Our study contributes to salt lake research and demonstrates the superiority of RS technology for monitoring saline lakes.Tingyue LIU Jingjing DAI Yuanyi ZHAO Shufang TIAN Zhen NIE Chuanyong YE 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,4:0
Phenomic Imaging显示文摘Human phenomics is defned as the comprehensive collection of observable phenotypes and characteristics infuenced by a complex interplay among factors at multiple scales. These factors include genes, epigenetics at the microscopic level, organs, microbiome at the mesoscopic level, and diet and environmental exposures at the macroscopic level.“Phenomic imaging”utilizes various imaging techniques to visualize and measure anatomical structures, biological functions, metabolic processes, and biochemical activities across diferent scales, both in vivo and ex vivo.Unlike conventional medical imaging focused on disease diagnosis, phenomic imaging captures both normal and abnormal traits, facilitating detailed correlations between macro-and micro-phenotypes.This approach plays a crucial role in deciphering phenomes. This review provides an overview of diferent phenomic imaging modalities and their applications in human phenomics.Additionally,it explores the associations between phenomic imaging and other omics disciplines, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, immunomics, and metabolomics.By integrating phenomic imaging with other omics data, such as genomics and metabolomics,a comprehensive understanding of biological systems can be achieved. This integration paves the way for the development of new therapeutic approaches and diagnostic tools.Lizhen Lan Kai Feng Yudan Wu Wenbo Zhang Ling Wei Huiting Che Le Xue Yidan Gao Ji Tao Shufang Qian Wenzhao Cao Jun Zhang Chengyan Wang Mei Tian 2023Phenomics2023,3,6:0
Protocol for Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Extraction of Imaging‑Derived Phenotypes from the China Phenobank Project显示文摘Imaging-derived phenotypes(IDPs)have been increasingly used in population-based cohort studies in recent years. As widely reported, magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is an important imaging modality for assessing the anatomical structure and function of the brain with high resolution and excellent soft-tissue contrast. The purpose of this article was to describe the imaging protocol of the brain MRI in the China Phenobank Project(CHPP).Each participant underwent a 30-min brain MRI scan as part of a 2-h whole-body imaging protocol in CHPP.The brain imaging sequences included T1-magnetization that prepared rapid gradient echo,T2 fuid-attenuated inversion-recovery,magnetic resonance angiography, difusion MRI,and resting-state functional MRI.The detailed descriptions of image acquisition, interpretation, and post-processing were provided in this article. The measured IDPs included volumes of brain subregions, cerebral vessel geometrical parameters, microstructural tracts, and function connectivity metrics.Chengyan Wang Zhang Shi Yan Li Xueqin Xia Xutong Kuang Shufang Qian Le Xue Lizhen Lan Yudan Wu Na Zhang Ji Tao Xumei Hu Wenzhao Cao Naying He Yike Guo Weibo Chen Jun Zhang Jingchun Luo He Wang Mei Tian 2023Phenomics2023,3,6:0
Positron Emission Tomography Molecular Imaging for Phenotyping and Management of Lymphoma显示文摘Positron emission tomography(PET)represents molecular imaging for non-invasive phenotyping of physiological and biochemical processes in various oncological diseases.PET imaging with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)for glucose metabolism evaluation is the standard imaging modality for the clinical management of lymphoma. One of the 18F-FDG PET applications is the detection and pre-treatment staging of lymphoma, which is highly sensitive.18F-FDG PET is also applied during treatment to evaluate the individual chemo-sensitivity and accordingly guide the response-adapted therapy. At the end of the therapy regiment,a negative PET scan is indicative of a good prognosis in patients with advanced Hodgkin’s lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Thus, adjuvant radiotherapy may be alleviated.Future PET studies using non-18F-FDG radiotracers, such as 68Ga-labeled pentixafor(a cyclic pentapeptide that enables sensitive and high-contrast imaging of C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4),68Ga-labeled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor(FAPI)that reflects the tumor microenvironment, and 89Zr-labeled atezolizumab that targets the programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1),may complement 18F-FDG and offer essential tools to decode lymphoma phenotypes further and identify the mechanisms of lymphoma therapy.Xiaohui Zhang Han Jiang Shuang Wu Jing Wang Rui Zhou Xuexin He Shufang Qian Shuilin Zhao Hong Zhang Ali Cahid Civelek Mei Tian 2022Phenomics2022,2,2:0
The effect of renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system inhibitors in patients with hypertension and COVID-19:A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials and propensity score-matched studies显示文摘Background:High-quality evidence for whether the use of renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system(RAAS)in-hibitors worsens clinical outcomes for patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is lacking. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of RAAS inhibitors on disease severity and mortality in patients with hyper-tension and COVID-19 using randomized controlled trials(RCTs)and propensity score-matched(PSM)studies.Methods:A literature search was conducted with PubMed,Embase, and Scopus databases from 31 December 2019 to 10 January 2022.We included RCTs and PSM studies comparing the risk of severe illness or mortality in patients with hypertension and COVID-19 treated or not treated with RAAS inhibitors.Individual trial data were combined to estimate the pooled odds ratio(OR)with a random-effects model. Results:A total of 17 studies(4 RCTs and 13 PSM studies)were included in the meta-analysis.The use of RAAS inhibitors was not associated with an increased risk of severe illness(OR=1.00,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.88–1.14,I^(2)=28%)or mortality(OR=0.96,95%CI:0.83–1.11,I^(2)=16%)for patients with hypertension and COVID-19.Furthermore,there was no significant difference in the severity of COVID-19 when patients continued or discontinued treatment with RAAS inhibitors(OR=1.01,95%CI:0.78–1.29,I^(2)=0%).Conclusions:This study suggests that there was no association between treatment with RAAS inhibitors and worsened COVID-19 disease outcomes. Our findings support the current guidelines that RAAS inhibitors should be continued in the setting of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the benefit of RAAS inhibitor medications for COVID-19 patients should be further validated with more RCTs.Kai Zhang Lanxin Cao Nanxia Xuan Tiancha Huang Baoping Tian Wei Cui Gensheng Zhang Shufang Zhang 2022Journal of Intensive Medicine2022,2,4:0
Study on the Expression of Dopamine Receptor-3(DRD3) in Rats after Sacral Spinal Cord Transection显示文摘[Objectives] This study aimed to study the distribution characteristics of DRD3(dopamine receptor-3) and the changes in its expression before and after spinal cord injury(SCI), in order to lay a morphological basis for later research. [Methods] Adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham operation group and SCI group. The rat spinal cord transection model at the sacral 2(S_2) segment was established. Rat tail spasticity score was performed 60 d after SCI, and the rats with 4-5 points were screened for perfusion. The expression of DRD3 in the sacral spinal cord(S+C segment) was detected by immunofluorescence. [Results] In normal rats, DRD3 was mainly distributed in the dorsal horn(DH), intermediate zone(IMZ) and ventral horn(VH) of the gray matter. It was also expressed in the white matter of the spinal cord. After SCI, the distribution of DRD3 in the segment below the injury section was similar to that of normal rats. However, the expression was different(P<0.05). [Conclusions] There was no significant change in the distribution of DRD3 in spinal cord after SCI. After the spinal cord S_2 was completed transected, the expression of DRD3 was significantly reduced in the DH, IMZ and VH regions of the gray matter of the spinal cord.Ying CHEN Xiang ZHANG Meng CHEN Xiaoguang WU Huanna TIAN Shufang MAO Xin MENG Liqun REN 2019Medicinal Plant2019,10,1:0
