1Attribution of PM_(2.5) exposure in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to emissions:implication to control strategies显示文摘The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is one of the most heavily polluted regions in China,with both high PM_(2.5) concentrations and a high population density.A quantitative source-receptor relationship can provide valuable insights that can inform effective emission control strategies.Both source apportionment(SA) and source sensitivity(SS) can provide such information from different perspectives.In this study,both methods are applied in northern China to identify the most significant emission categories and source regions for PM_(2.5) exposure in BTH in 2013.Despite their differences,both models show similar distribution patterns for population and simulated PM_(2.5) concentrations,resulting in overall high PM_(2.5) exposure values(approximately 110 μg/m~) and particularly high exposure values during the winter(approximately 200 μ/m~).Both methods show that local emissions play a dominant role(70%),with some contribution from surrounding provinces(e.g.,Shandong) via regional transport.The two methods also agree on the priority of local emission controls:both identify industrial,residential,and agricultural emissions as the top three categories that should be controlled locally.In addition,the effect of controlling agricultural ammonia emissions is approximately doubled when the co-benefits of reducing nitrate are considered.The synthesis of SA and SS for addressing specific categories of emissions provides a quantitative basis for the development of emission control strategies and policies for controlling PM_(2.5)in China.Xin Li Qiang Zhang Yang Zhang Lin Zhang Yuxuan Wang Qianqian Zhang Meng Li Yixuan Zheng Guannan Geng Timothy J.Wallington Weijian Han Wei Shen Kebin He 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,13:15
2Multichannel radar adaptive signal detection in interference and structure nonhomogeneity显示文摘In this paper, we consider the problem of multichannel radar signal detection in interference and structure nonhomogeneity. The interference is often caused by electromagnetic countermeasure(ECM) systems or industrial activity, while the nonhomogeneity usually arises because of rapid variations in terrain or radar antenna structure. We propose three adaptive detectors according to three common criteria of detector design, namely, the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT), Rao test, and Wald test. Extensive performance comparisons are conducted under different scenarios. It is shown that when the nonhomogeneity is severe, the detector devised according to the GLRT achieves the best detection performance. 3Detection of collapsed buildings with the aerial images captured from UAV显示文摘In this paper, we present a method of detecting the collapsed buildings with the aerial images which are captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) for the postseismic evaluation. Different from the conventional methods that apply the satellite images or the high-altitude UAV for the coarse disaster evaluation over large area, the purpose of this work is to achieve the accurate detection of collapsed buildings in small area from low altitude. By combining the motion and appearance features of collapsed buildings extracted from successive aerial images, each pixel in the input image will be measured by a statistical method where the background pixels will be penalized and the ones of collapsed buildings will be assigned with high value.The candidates of collapsed buildings will be established by integrating the extracted feature points into local groups with the online clustering algorithm. To reduce the false alarm caused by the complex background noise,each predicted candidate will be further verified by the temporal tracking framework where both the trajectory and the appearance of a candidate will be measured. The candidate of collapsed buildings that can survive through long time will be considered as true positive, otherwise rejected as a false alarm. 4Responsive and self-healing structural color supramolecular hydrogel patch for diabetic wound treatment显示文摘The treatment of diabetic wounds remains a great challenge for medical community.Here,we present a novel structural color supramolecular hydrogel patch for diabetic wound treatment.This hydrogel patch was created by using N-acryloyl glycinamide(NAGA)and 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole(VTZ)mixed supramolecular hydrogel as the inverse opal scaffold,and temperature responsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAM)hydrogel loaded with vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF)as a filler.Supramolecular hydrogel renders hydrogel patch with superior mechanical properties,in which NAGA and VTZ also provide self-healing and antibacterial properties,respectively.Besides,as the existence of PNIPAM,the hydrogel patch was endowed with thermal-responsiveness property,which could release actives in response to temperature stimulus.Given these excellent performances,we have demonstrated that the supramolecular hydrogel patch could significantly enhance the wound healing process in diabetes rats by downregulating the expression of inflammatory factors,promoting collagen deposition and angiogenesis.Attractively,due to responsive optical property of inverse opal scaffold,the hydrogel patch could display color-sensing behavior that was suitable for the wound monitoring and management as well as guidance of clinical treatment.These distinctive features indicate that the presented hydrogel patches have huge potential values in biomedical fields.Canwen Chen Yu Wang Han Zhang Hui Zhang Weiliang Dong Weijian Sun Yuanjin Zhao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,9:2

15Characterizing the tumor microenvironment at the single-cell level reveals a novel immune evasion mechanism in osteosarcoma显示文摘The immune microenvironment extensively participates in tumorigenesis as well as progression in osteosarcoma(OS).However,the landscape and dynamics of immune cells in OS are poorly characterized.By analyzing single-cell RNA sequencing(sc RNA-seq)data,which characterize the transcription state at single-cell resolution,we produced an atlas of the immune microenvironment in OS.The results suggested that a cluster of regulatory dendritic cells(DCs)might shape the immunosuppressive microenvironment in OS by recruiting regulatory T cells.We also found that major histocompatibility complex class I(MHC-I)molecules were downregulated in cancer cells.The findings indicated a reduction in tumor immunogenicity in OS,which can be a potential mechanism of tumor immune escape.Of note,CD24 was identified as a novel“don’t eat me”signal that contributed to the immune evasion of OS cells.Altogether,our findings provide insights into the immune landscape of OS,suggesting that myeloid-targeted immunotherapy could be a promising approach to treat OS.Weijian Liu Hongzhi Hu Zengwu Shao Xiao Lv Zhicai Zhang Xiangtian Deng Qingcheng Song Yong Han Tao Guo Liming Xiong Baichuan Wang Yingze Zhang 2023Bone Research2023,11,1:1
