1Generation of ready to use (RTU) products over China based on Landsat series data显示文摘Earth observation community has entered into the era of big data.Family of Landsat sensors have collected massive medium resolution satellite images,which are valuable for long-term land surface monitoring.In order to significantly reduce the magnitude of data processing for remote sensing data users,Landsat-based Ready to Use(RTU)products have been produced.Main RTU products,including orthorectified products,land surface reflectance,land surface temperature,large-area mosaic image,and standard image map products,are described.The resulting Landsat RTU products are hosted on the RSGS earth observation data sharing web site for free download(http://ids.ceode.ac.cn/rtu/).These new products will provide consistent,standardized,multi-decadal image data for robust land cover change detection and monitoring across the Earth sciences.In the coming years,CASEarth DataBank system will be constructed,which is an intelligent data service platform for providing not only the RTU products from multi-source satellite data,but also big earth data analysis methods.Guojin He Zhaoming Zhang Weili Jiao Tengfei Long Yan Peng Guizhou Wang Ranyu Yin Wei Wang Xiaomei Zhang Huichan Liu Bo Cheng Bo Xiang 2018Big Earth Data2018,2,1:8
2Effects of plant roots on soil preferential pathways and soil matrix in forest ecosystems显示文摘To characterize effects of plant roots on preferential flow(PF),we measured root length density(RLD)and root biomass(RB) in Jiufeng National Forest Park,Beijing,China.Comparisons were made for RLD and RB between soil preferential pathways and soil matrices.RLD and RB declined with the increasing soil depth(0–10,10–20,20–30,30–40,40–50,50–60 cm) in all experimental plots.RLD was greater in soil preferential pathways than in the surrounding soil matrix and was 69.5,75.0 and72.2 % for plant roots of diameter(d) \1,1 \ d \ 3 and3 \ d \ 5 mm,respectively.Fine root systems had the most pivotal influence on soil preferential flow in this forest ecosystem.In all experimental plots,RB content was the sum of RB from soil preferential pathways and the soil matrix in each soil depth.With respect to 6 soil depth gradient(0–10,10–20,20–30,30–40,40–50,50–60 cm) in each plot,the number of soil depth gradient that RB content was greater in soil preferential pathways than in the soil matrix was characterized,and the proportion was68.2 % in all plots.Yinghu Zhang Jianzhi Niu Weili Zhu Xiaoqing Du Jiao Li 2015Journal of Forestry Research2015,26,2:6

4Time-domain terahertz optoacoustics: manipulable water sensing and dampening显示文摘Radiation at terahertz frequencies can be used to analyze the structural dynamics of water and biomolecules,but applying the technique to aqueous solutions and tissues remains challenging since terahertz radiation is strongly absorbed by water.While this absorption enables certain analyses,such as the structure of water and its interactions with biological solutes,it limits the thickness of samples that can be analyzed,and it drowns out weaker signals from biomolecules of interest.We present a method for analyzing water-rich samples via time-domain terahertz optoacoustics over a 104-fold thickness ranging from microns to centimeters.We demonstrate that adjusting the temperature to alter the terahertz optoacoustic(THz-OA)signal of water improves the sensitivity with which it can be analyzed and,conversely,can reduce or even“silence”its signal.Temperature-manipulated THz-OA signals of aqueous solutions allow detection of solutes such as ions with an order of magnitude greater sensitivity than terahertz time-domain spectroscopy,and potentially provide more characteristic parameters related to both terahertz absorption and ultrasonic propagation.Terahertz optoacoustics may be a powerful tool for spectroscopy and potential imaging of aqueous solutions and tissues to explore molecular interactions and biochemical processes.Jiao Li Yixin Yao Liwen Jiang Shuai Li Zhihao Yi Xieyu Chen Zhen Tian Weili Zhang 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,2:4
5Effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate on tumor necrosis factor alpha and interferon gamma in serum and synovial fluid in rheumatoid arthritis patients with symptom pattern of damp heat obstruction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate(MTX) on Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) in the serum and synovial fluid of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern, Sanhuangyilong decoction and the role of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the development of RA.METHODS: RA inpatients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern(partly with knee joint effusion) were selected as the research subjects. Before the treatment, healthy subjects and osteoarthritis(OA) patients with knee joint effusion were assigned to the serum control group and the synovial fluid control group, respectively; during the treatment, RA patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern were divided into two groups:one is combined group that was administered Sanhuangyilong decoction plus MTX; the other group was MTX group that received MTX only. The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) before and after the treatment, and the peripheral blood levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C-reactive protein(CRP) and disease activity score in 28 joints(DAS28)were determined.RESULTS: Before treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the RA patients with dampheat-obstruction symptom pattern were higher than those in healthy control group(P < 0.05).The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those in the serum of the RA patients(P < 0.05). The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those of the sy-novial fluid of the osteoarthritis patients(P < 0.05).The expression of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid of the RA patients had no correlation with the inflammatory activity index ESR, CRP,or DAS28(P > 0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the expression level of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the combined group had increased, although the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05); in contrast, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01). After 4 weeks of therapy, TNF-alpha and IFN-γ, ESR,CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group decreased compared with the before-treatment levels(P <0.01). After 2 w of treatment, the differences in the TNF-α and IFN-γ expression levels in the combined group were not statistically significant(P > 0.05)compared with that in the MTX group, although there were statistically significant differences in the ESR, CRP, and DAS28(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, differences in TNF-α, IFN-γ, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group compared with MTX group were statistically significant(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: TNF-α and IFN-γ might be involved in the development of RA. 6Electrochemically triggered decoupled transport behaviors in intercalated graphite:From energy storage to enhanced electromagnetic applications显示文摘Pyrolytic graphite (PG) with highly aligned graphene layers,present anisotropic electrical and thermal transport behavior,which is attractive in electronic,electrocatalyst and energy storage.Such pristine PG could meeting the limit of electrical conductivity (~2.5×10^(4) S·cm^(−1)),although efforts have been made for achieving high-purity sp^(2) hybridized carbon.For manipulating the electrical conductivity of PG,a facile and efficient electrochemical strategy is demonstrated to enhance electrical transport ability via reversible intercalation/de-intercalation of AlCl_(4)^(-)into the graphitic interlayers.With the stage evolution at different voltages,variable electrical and thermal transport behaviors could be achieved via controlling AlCl_(4)^(-)concentrations in the PG because of substantial variation in the electronic density of states.Such evolution leads to decoupled electrical and thermal transport (opposite variation trend) in the in-plane and out-of-plane directions,and the in-plane electrical conductivity of the pristine PG (1.25×10^(4) S·cm^(−1)) could be massively promoted to 4.09×10^(4) S·cm(AlCl_(4)^(-)intercalated PG),much better than the pristine bulk graphitic papers used for the electrical transport and electromagnetic shielding.The fundamental mechanism of decoupled transport feature and electrochemical strategy here could be extended into other anisotropic conductive bulks for achieving unusual behaviors.Ya Chen Kailun Zhang Na Li Wei Guan Zhiyuan Li Haosen Chen Shuqiang Jiao Weili Song 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,1:1

8Mechano-electrochemical perspectives on flexible lithium-ion batteries显示文摘With the advent of flexible/wearable electronic devices,flexible lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have attracted significant attention as optimal power source candidates.Flexible LIBs with good flexibility,mechanical stability,and high energy density are still an enormous challenge.In recent years,many complex and diverse design methods for flexible LIBs have been reported.The design and evaluation of ideal flexible LIBs must take into consideration both mechanical and electrochemical factors.In this review,the recent progress and challenges of flexible LIBs are reviewed from a mechano-electrochemical perspective.The recent progress in flexible LIB design is addressed concerning flexible material and configuration design.The mechanical and electrochemical evaluations of flexible LIBs are also summarized.Furthermore,mechano-electrochemical perspectives for the future direction of flexible LIBs are also discussed.Finally,the relationship between mechanical loading and the electrode process is analyzed from a mechano-electrochemical perspective.The evaluation of flexible LIBs should be based on mechano-electrochemical processes.Reviews and perspectives are of great significance to the design and practicality of flexible LIBs,which is contributed to bridging the gap between laboratory exploration and practical applications.Na Li Shuangquan Yang Haosen Chen Shuqiang Jiao Weili Song 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,5:1
9The Earth Summit Mission-2022:Successful ozone soundings contribute to source identification in the north Mt.Qomolangma region显示文摘As part of“The Earth Summit Mission-2022”during the second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research(STEP)in April and May 2022,we conducted the ozone sounding experiment(an ozonesonde mated to a radiosonde)at Mt.Qomolangma Base Camp(MQBC;86.85°E,28.14°N;5200 m),a location at an extremely high altitude.A total of ten sounding profiles were obtained between April 30 and May 06,2022,of which seven profiles were above35 km in altitude,with a maximum detection altitude up to 39.0 km.This study presents the temporal variation and vertical distributions of atmospheric temperature,humidity,and ozone during the MQBC campaign.The averaged ozone concentration was high(68.3 ppbv)at the surface and then increased smoothly until peaking(~110 ppbv)in the middle troposphere(approximately 10 km),and afterward,the ozone concentration increased rapidly from the upper troposphere to a maximum of~10 ppmv at~30 km.The enhanced ozone concentration in the middle troposphere was associated with the blocking high pressure,and transport from the southern flank of the Himalayas occurred during the campaign period.The average total ozone column was 291.9±21.4 DU for the seven profiles exceeding 35km in altitude.The ozonesonde measurements were also compared with the vertical ozone profiles retrieved from the space-borne ozone products from the Microwave Limb Sounder(MLS)onboard the Aura satellite and the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder(AIRS)onboard the Aqua satellite.Jinqiang Zhang Chunxiang Ye Yuejian Xuan Zhixuan Bai Weili Lin Dan Li Lingkun Ran Baofeng Jiao YaomingMa Weiqiang Ma Nan Yao Yunshu Zeng Daren Lv Tong Zhu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
