| 1 | Surface acoustic wave humidity sensors based on uniform and thickness controllable graphene oxide thin films formed by surface tension显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)is a promising candidate for humidity sensing,and the uniformity and thickness of GO films are important for the reproducibility and test signal strength of humidity sensors.In this paper,uniform and thicknesscontrollable GO films are first formed by the surface tension of different concentrations of GO solution and then transferred to surface acoustic wave(SAW)humidity sensors.This GO film formation and transfer process has very good repeatability and stability,as evidenced by the humidity response of the sensors.With the help of the uniform and highly oxidized GO film,the humidity sensors show a significantly high sensitivity(absolute sensitivity of 25.3 kHz/%RH and relative sensitivity of 111.7 p.p.m./%RH)in a wide test range from 10%RH to 90%RH with very little hysteresis(<1%RH).The sensors achieve good reversibility,excellent short-term repeatability and stability.Moreover,the humidity sensors also show a fast response and recovery time of<10 s. | Xianhao Le Yihan Liu Li Peng Jintao Pang Zhen Xu Chao Gao Jin Xie | 2019 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2019,5,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Design, Synthesis and Insecticidal Activities of Novel 5-Alkoxyfuran-5(H)-one Derivatives显示文摘A series of novel 5?alkoxyfuran-2(5H)-one derivatives was synthesized, and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS. Biological activities of all the title compounds were evaluated systematically. Preliminary bioassays indicated that most of the compounds exhibited moderate insecticidal activities against Aphis craccivora and Nilaparvata lugens at 100 mg/L. Compounds 4h and 4w exhibited 100% mortality rate against Aphis craccivora at 100 mg/L, and compound 4h exhibited good mortality rate against Aphis craccivora and Nilaparvata lugens (60% and 75%, respectively) even at 4 mg/L. | 6 | Donkey pericardium as a select sourcing to manufacture percutaneous heart valves:Decellularization has not yet demonstrated any clear cut advantage to glutaraldehyde treatment显示文摘Background:The donkey pericardium is considered a good candidate to manufacture percutaneous heart valves based upon its thinness,low cellularity and undulating collagen bundles and laminates.Decellularization represents an avenue worth exploring,should its superiority to glutaraldehyde-treated pericardium be demonstrated.Materials and methods:Donkey pericardium was divided into two groups:regular glutaraldehyde fixation and mild decellularization.The treated pericardia were observed using scanning electron microscopy,histology and transmission electron microscopy.Tensile tests were performed along the axial and perpendicular directions,with the data fitted into both the Gasser–Ogden–Holzapfel(GOH)material model and the Fung’s anisotropic one.Results:The microstructures of the pericardia processed by the two protocols were similar,showing collagen bundles and laminates free of flaws.The decellularization eliminated most of the cells,however leaving the structure somehow compressed.The collagen filaments in bundles were slightly blurry.The anisotropy rates of the non-decellularized specimens were almost identical to the decellularized ones.The decellularized pericardium appeared stiffer.Conclusion:The decellularization proved to be effective.However,it makes the tissue stiffer,which may lead to higher shear concentration during cardiac cycles and reduce its wavy microstructure.Therefore,it appears premature to select decellularized donkey pericardium to manufacture heart valves. | Aisa Rassoli Yiming Li Xianhao Bao Fabien Kawecki Xinzhe Zhao Daniel Chappard Gaetan Le-Bel Jiaxuan Feng Benedikt Weber Nasser Fatouraee Ze Zhang Zaiping Jing Lucie Germain Lu Wang Robert Guidoin | 2019 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2019,,4: | 1 |

| 15 | Comparison of diagnosis value for new onset myasthenia gravis by many clinical auxiliary examinations显示文摘BACKGROUND: The clinical values of neostigmine test, clinical electrophysiologic study and acetylcholine receptor antibody detection in diagnosing myasthenia gravis (MG) found newly are unclear in China. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the reference value of common clinical diagnosis parameters in correctly diagnosing untreated MG found newly. DESIGN: Retrospective case analysis. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Beijing Hospital, Ministry of Health. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 156 outpatients with MG admitted to Department of Neurology, Beijing Hospital, Ministry of Health between January 1999 and December 2002. The involved patients, 72 males and 84 females, were aged 2–79 years. They were classified according to Osserman's criteria: ⅡA 72,ⅡB 76, Ⅲ 3 and Ⅳ 5. They were all subjected to being inquired of disease history, neostigmine test, and acetylcholine receptor antibody detection, met the diagnosis criteria of Neuroimmunology Committee of China, and confirmed by clinical electrophysiologic detections; Informed consents were obtained from all the involved subjects. METHODS: ①After admission, every patient was intramuscularly injected with 1.5 mg neostigmine; If the patient was a child, the injection dose was decreased according to his/her age. If his/her score of any observation index after injection was improved ≥ 50% as compared with before injection , his positive index was set as positive. Positive neostigmine test was set if there was one positive index. ②Repetitive nerve stimulation and single fiber electromyography were performed with Dantec Keypoint electromyogram (EMG) apparatus. ③Acetylcholine receptor antibody was detected by ELISA method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Clinical absolute and relative scores of MG, acetylcholine receptor antibody level, and repetitive nerve stimulation and single fiber electromyography examination results. RESULTS: The positive rates of neostigmine test, repetitive nerve stimulation and single fiber electromyography examination for MG were 86.5%, 82.6%, and 69.2%, respectively, and the positive rate of acetylcholine receptor antibody was 78.8%. | 17 | REMOBILIZATION AND ACCUMULATION OF IODINE IN MARINE SEDIMENTS, WESTERN ANTARCTIC OCEAN显示文摘Remobilization and accumulation mechanisms of iodine in marine sediments, which are divided into several geochemical environment, are studied. The result shows that iodine is characteristically rich in organic fractions of the sediments on the bottom of bay and pelagic sediments. However, it may be associated with oxyhydroxide and adsorptive phase in a highter percentage at the continental shelf and hemipelagic sediments. The environmental characteristics of remobilization of iodine in surficial sediments are similar to that of iron, that is, it is remobilized on anoxic conditions and converted into solid phases when it is in oxic environments, though the iodine does not act as the electron acceptor. The processes of adsorption and oxidation are responsible for the value of It/Corg in excess of that of planktonic materials other than the organic fraction in surficial sediments. | 19 | Micro-nanofiber composite biomimetic conduits promote long-gap peripheral nerve regeneration in canine models显示文摘Peripheral nerve injuries may result in severe long-gap interruptions that are challenging to repair.Autografting is the gold standard surgical approach for repairing long-gap nerve injuries but can result in prominent donor-site complications.Instead,imitating the native neural microarchitecture using synthetic conduits is expected to offer an alternative strategy for improving nerve regeneration.Here,we designed nerve conduits composed of high-resolution anisotropic microfiber grid-cordes with randomly organized nanofiber sheaths to interrogate the positive effects of these biomimetic structures on peripheral nerve regeneration.Anisotropic microfiber-grids demonstrated the capacity to directionally guide Schwann cells and neurites.Nanofiber sheaths conveyed adequate elasticity and permeability,whilst exhibiting a barrier function against the infiltration of fibroblasts.We then used the composite nerve conduits bridge 30-mm long sciatic nerve defects in canine models.At 12 months post-implant,the morphometric and histological recovery,gait recovery,electrophysiological function,and degree of muscle atrophy were assessed.The newly regenerated nerve tissue that formed within the composite nerve conduits showed restored neurological functions that were superior compared to sheaths-only scaffolds and Neurolac nerve conduit controls.Our findings demonstrate the feasibility of using synthetic biophysical cues to effectively bridge long-gap peripheral nerve injuries and indicates the promising clinical application prospects of biomimetic composite nerve conduits. | Xianhao Dong Yueyue Yang Zheheng Bao Adam C.Midgley Feiyi Li Shuxin Dai Zhuangzhuang Yang Jin Wang Lihua Liu Wenlei Li Yayuan Zheng Siyang Liu Yang Liu Weijian Yu Jun Liu Meng Fan Meifeng Zhu Zhongyang Shen Gu Xiaosong Deling Kong | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,12: | 0 |
