| 1 | Investigating the dynamic mechanical behaviors of polyurea through experimentation and modeling显示文摘Polyurea is widely employed as a protective coating in many fields because of its superior ability to improve the anti-blast and anti-impact capability of structures.In this study,the mechanical properties of polyurea XS-350 were investigated via systematic experimentation over a wide range of strain rates(0.001-7000 s^-1)by using an MTS,Instron VHS,and split-Hopkinson bars.The stress-strain behavior of polyurea was obtained for various strain rates,and the effects of strain rate on the primary mechanical properties were analyzed.Additionally,a modified rate-dependent constitutive model is proposed based on the nine-parameter Mooney-Rivlin model.The results show that the stress-strain curves can be divided into three distinct regions:the linear-elastic stage,the highly elastic stage,and an approximate linear region terminating in fracture.The mechanical properties of the polyurea material were found to be highly dependent on the strain rate.Furthermore,a comparison between model predictions and the experimental stress-strain curves demonstrated that the proposed model can characterize the mechanical properties of polyurea over a wide range of strain rates. | Hao Wang Ximin Deng Haijun Wu Aiguo Pi Jinzhu Li Fenglei Huang | 2019 | Defence Technology(防务技术)2019,15,6: | 13 |

| 4 | Single copper sites dispersed on hierarchically porous carbon for improving oxygen reduction reaction towards zinc-air battery显示文摘The demand for high-performance non-precious-metal electrocatalysts to replace the noble metal-based catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is intensively increasing.Herein,single-atomic copper sites supported on N-doped three-dimensional hierarchically porous carbon catalyst(Cu_(1)/NC)was prepared by coordination pyrolysis strategy.Remarkably,the Cu_(1)/NC-900 catalyst not only exhibits excellent ORR performance with a half-wave potential of 0.894 V(vs.RHE)in alkaline media,outperforming those of commercial Pt/C(0.851 V)and Cu nanoparticles anchored on N-doped porous carbon(CuNPs/NC-900),but also demonstrates high stability and methanol tolerance.Moreover,the Cu_(1)/NC-900 based Zn-air battery exhibits higher power density,rechargeability and cyclic stability than the one based on Pt/C.Both experimental and theoretical investigations demonstrated that the excellent performance of the as-obtained Cu_(1)/NC-900 could be attributed to the synergistic effect between copper coordinated by three N atoms active sites and the neighbouring carbon defect,resulting in elevated Cu d-band centers of Cu atoms and facilitating intermediate desorption for ORR process.This study may lead towards the development of highly efficient non-noble metal catalysts for applications in electrochemical energy conversion. | Wenjie Wu Yan Liu Dong Liu Wenxing Chen Zhaoyi Song Ximin Wang Yamin Zheng Ning Lu Chunxia Wang Junjie Mao Yadong Li | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,4: | 4 |

| 6 | Epidemic status of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in Hainan island,China显示文摘Objective:To understand the current epidemiological status of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in Hainan island and provide the scientific evidences for prevention and control of the disease.Methods:The investigation on nature infection condition of intermediate hosts and final hosts of Angiostrongylus cantonensis were carried out in five counties,Hainan Province, and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was employed to detect antibodies of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in human hosts.Results:A total of 1 612 molluscs were examined, 21.3%of which harbored L3 of Angiostrongylus cantonensis.Among them,the infection rates of Pomacea canaliculata,Achatina fulica,Cepaea and Phlegm bilineatus were 12.3696(64/518), 22.66%(121/534),20.93%(9/43),and 28.24%(146/517),respectively.Of the 118 rats trapped,13 Rattus norvegicus were found to be infected with Angiostrongylus cantonensis.A total of 459 serum samples were collected and tested.92 serum samples were Angiostrongylus cantonensis antibody-positive.Conclusions:The survey revealed a wide distribution of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in Hainan island.Pomacea canaUculata and Achatina fulica are main intermediate hosts of Angiostrongylus cantonensis.Rattus novegicus is a nature definitive host,indicating that a considerable number of people are at risk of angiostrongyliasis.Health education,rigorous food inspection and surveillance are all needed to prevent angiostrongyliasis outbreaks in future. | Ximin Hu Jianwei Du Chongjin Tong Shanqing Wang Jian Liu Yuchun Li Changhua He | 2011 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2011,4,4: | 2 |

The efficient segregation coefficient was measured by using EPMA. The absorption and fluorescence spectra was measured at room temperature and compared the spectral parameters with Yb∶YAB of other Yb3+ concentrations. With the increase of the Yb3+ concentration, the main absorption and fluorescence peaks almost do not change, but the absorption coefficient and FWHM increase. The defects were investigated by using chemical etching method. | 19 | Cardiac patches made of brown adipose-derived stem cell sheets and conductive electrospun nanofibers restore infarcted heart for ischemic myocardial infarction显示文摘Cell sheet engineering has been proven to be a promising strategy for cardiac remodeling post-myocardial infarction. However, insufficient mechanical strength and low cell retention lead to limited therapeutic efficiency. The thickness and area of artificial cardiac patches also affect their therapeutic efficiency. Cardiac patches prepared by combining cell sheets with electrospun nanofibers, which can be transplanted and sutured to the surface of the infarcted heart, promise to solve this problem. Here, we fabricated a novel cardiac patch by stacking brown adipose-derived stem cells (BADSCs) sheet layer by layer, and then they were combined with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs)-containing electrospun polycaprolactone/silk fibroin nanofibers (CPSN). The results demonstrated that BADSCs tended to generate myocardium-like structures seeded on CPSN. Compared with BADSCs suspension-containing electrospun nanofibers, the transplantation of the CPSN-BADSCs sheets (CNBS) cardiac patches exhibited accelerated angiogenesis and decreased inflammation in a rat myocardial infarction model. In addition, the CNBS cardiac patches could regulate macrophage polarization and promote gap junction remodeling, thus restoring cardiac functions. | 20 | Colour routing with single silver nanorods显示文摘Elongated plasmonic nanoparticles have been extensively explored over the past two decades.However,in comparison with the dipolar plasmon mode that has attracted the most interest,much less attention has been paid to multipolar plasmon modes because they are usually thought to be“dark modes”,which are unable to interact with farfield light efficiently.Herein,we report on an intriguing far-field scattering phenomenon,colour routing,based on longitudinal multipolar plasmon modes supported by high-aspect-ratio single Ag nanorods.Taking advantage of the distinct far-field behaviours of the odd and even multipolar plasmon modes,we demonstrate two types of colour routing,where the incident white light can be scattered into several beams with different colours as well as different propagation directions.Because of the narrow linewidths of the longitudinal multipolar plasmon modes,there is little spectral overlap between the adjacent peaks,giving rise to outstanding colour selectivity.Our experimental results and theoretical model provide a simple yet effective picture for understanding the far-field behaviour of the longitudinal multipolar plasmon modes and the resultant colour routing phenomenon.Moreover,the outstanding colour routing capability of the high-aspect-ratio Ag nanorods enables nanoscale optical components with simple geometries for controlling the propagation of light below the diffraction limit of light. | Xiaolu Zhuo Hang Kuen Yip Ximin Cui Jianfang Wang Hai-Qing Lin | 2019 | Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1: | 0 |
