1A novel two-layered optical satellite network of LEO/MEO with zero phase factor显示文摘Optical satellite communication has advantages over the RF satellite communication in capacity, speed, secrecy and anti-interference.Space information superhighway composed of GEO/MEO/LEO satellites which are linked by optical inter-satellite links(OISL) would play important roles in communication, navigation, martial recon, remote sensing and deep space exploration.A novel LEO/MEO two-layered optical satellite network with global coverage is designed with the street-of-coverage technique.The layer of LEO satellites is the walker-delta constellation with zero phase factor and has the quasi-stable logical structure of Mesh.Equatorial and polar orbit satellites constitute the layer of MEO satellite, which can cover LEO layer effectively.Rising satellites of the system can provide 99.9% of coverage for the whole globe and 100% for China averagely.The network can provide a minimum elevation angle at 21 ? with single-satellite visibility for China, and at 16 ? with the dual-satellite visibility.Simulation results of the inter-satellite links show LEO constellation of zero phase factor outperforms non-zero phase factor constellations in azimuth angle, elevation angle and distance, which is very fit for the OISL.Simulation results of the communication performance indicate a little difference between short wave band and long wave band at low communication speed(several Gbit/s);however, the wave band at 1550 nm is a better choice at high communication speed(100 Gbit/s).LI YongJun , WU JiLi, ZHAO ShangHong, MENG Wen, MA LiHua, SHI Lei, CHU XingChun, HOU Rui & LI Tian Telecommunication Engineering Institute, Air Force Engineering University, Xi’an 710077, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6:8
2Validation of the DNATyper^(TM)15 PCR Genotyping System for Forensic Application显示文摘We describe the optimization and validation of the DNATyper^(TM)15 multiplex polymerase chain reaction(PCR)genotyping system for autosomal short tandem repeat(STR)amplification at 14 autosomal loci(D6S1043,D21S11,D7S820,CSF1PO,D2S1338,D3S1358,D13S317,D8S1179,D16S539,Penta E,D5S818,vWA,D18S51,and FGA)and amelogenin,a sex‑determining locus.Several DNATyper^(TM)15 assay variables were optimized,including hot start Taq polymerase concentration,Taq polymerase activation time,magnesium concentration,primer concentration,annealing temperature,reaction volume,and cycle number.The performance of the assay was validated with respect to species specificity,sensitivity to template concentration,stability,accuracy,influence of the DNA extraction methods,and the ability to genotype the mixture samples.The performance of the DNATyper^(TM)15 system on casework samples was compared with that of two widely used STR amplification kits,Identifiler^(TM)(Applied Biosystems,Carlsbad,CA,USA)and PowerPlex 16®(Promega,Madison,WI,USA).The conditions for PCR‑based DNATyper^(TM)15 genotyping were optimized.Contamination from forensically relevant nonhuman DNA was not found to impact genotyping results,and full profiles were generated for all the reactions containing≥0.125 ng of DNA template.No significant difference in performance was observed even after the DNATyper^(TM)15 assay components were subjected to 20 freeze‑thaw cycles.The performances of DNATyper^(TM)15,Identifiler^(TM),and PowerPlex 16®were comparable in terms of sensitivity and the ability to genotype the mixed samples and case‑type samples,with the assays giving the same genotyping results for all the shared loci.The DNA extraction methods did not affect the performance of any of the systems.Our results demonstrate that the DNATyper^(TM)15 system is suitable for genotyping in both forensic DNA database work and case‑type samples.Jian Ye Chengtao Jiang Xingchun Zhao Le Wang Caixia Li Anquan Ji Li Yuan Jing Sun Shuaifeng Chen 2015Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2015,1,1:3
3Robust and efficient direct multiplex amplification method for large-scale DNA detection of blood samples on FTA cards显示文摘Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) damage arising from radiations widely occurred along with the development of nuclear weapons and clinically wide application of computed tomography (CT) scan and nuclear medicine. All ionizing radiations (X-rays, γ-rays, alpha particles, etc.) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation lead to the DNA damage. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is one of the most wildly used techniques for detecting DNA damage as the amplification stops at the site of the damage. Improvements to enhance the efficiency of PCR are always required and remain a great challenge. Here we establish a multiplex PCR assay system (MPAS) that is served as a robust and efficient method for direct detection of target DNA sequences in genomic DNA. The establishment of the system is performed by adding a combination of PCR enhancers to standard PCR buffer. The performance of MPAS was demonstrated by carrying out the direct PCR amplification on 1.2 mm human blood punch using commercially available primer sets which include multiple primer pairs. The optimized PCR system resulted in high quality genotyping results without any inhibitory effect indicated and led to a full-profile success rate of 98.13%. 4Control measures during the COVID-19 outbreak reduced the transmission of hand,foot,and mouth disease显示文摘Control measures during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak may have limited the spread of infectious diseases.This study aimed to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the spread of hand,foot,and mouth disease(HFMD)in China.A mathematical model was established to fit the reported data of HFMD in six selected cities in China's Mainland from 2015 to 2020.The absolute difference(AD)and relative difference(RD)between the reported incidence in 2020,and simulated maximum,minimum,or median incidence of HFMD in 2015-2019 were calculated.The incidence and R effof HFMD have decreased in six selected cities since the outbreak of COVID-19,and in the second half of 2020,the incidence and R effof HFMD have rebounded.The results show that the total attack rate(TAR)in 2020 was lower than the maximum,minimum,and median TAR fitted in previous years in six selected cities(except Changsha City).For the maximum,median,minimum fitted TAR,the range of RD(%)is 42·20-99·20%,36·35-98·41%48·35-96·23%(except Changsha City)respectively.The preventive and control measures of COVID-19 have significantly contributed to the containment of HFMD transmission.Yan Niu Li Luo Jia Rui Shiting Yang Bin Deng Zeyu Zhao Shengnan Lin Jingwen Xu Yuanzhao Zhu Yao Wang Meng Yang Xingchun Liu Tianlong Yang Weikang Liu Peihua Li Zhuoyang Li Chan Liu Jiefeng Huang Tianmu Chen 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,2:3

6Application of TEM Based on HTS SQUID Magnetometer in Deep Geological Structure Exploration in the Baiyun Gold Deposit,NE China显示文摘Exploration of deep mineralization,particularly where the mineralization of interest is covered by a conductive overburden,is still a challenge for the conventional transient electromagnetic(TEM)method,which measures TEM response using induction coils as the sensor.However,sensors such as fluxgate and superconductive quantum interfere device(SQUID)magnetometers can measure the B-field directly,which can provide more reliable deep information for mineralization exploration.In this paper,we report on the research and development of our newly developed high-temperature su-perconductor(HTS)SQUID magnetometer,which is cooled by liquid nitrogen at 77 K,and its applica-tion in TEM measurement for deep exploration in a gold deposit in China.This improved SQUID magnetometer version has a good performance with noise(60 fT/√Hz),slew rate(0.8 mT/S),dynamic range(100 dB),sensitivity(6.25 mV/nT),and bandwidth(DC-20 kHz).To find deep and peripheral ore in the Baiyun gold deposit located in Liaoning Province,NE China,both the SQUID magnetometer and induction coil were used for TEM data acquisition.Results show that TEM can detect the distribution of local strata and the faults contained within them.Results also indicate that the SQUID magnetome-ter has superior response performance for response over geological targets with slower decay time when compared to the induction coil signals.The SQUID magnetometer is more sensitive at observing the induced-polarization effect which is closely related to the ore-controlling faults.Junjie Wu Xiaodong Chen Yi Yang Qingquan Zhi Xingchun Wang Jie Zhang Xiaohong Deng Yi Zhao Yue Huang 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,1:2

8Feasibility of Booster Vaccination in High-Risk Populations for Controlling Coronavirus Variants—China,2021显示文摘Introduction:Vaccination booster shots are completely necessary for controlling breakthrough infections of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in China.The study aims to estimate effectiveness of booster vaccines for high-risk populations(HRPs).Methods:A vaccinated Susceptible-Exposed-Symptomatic-Asymptomatic-Recovered/Removed(SEIAR)model was developed to simulate scenarios of effective reproduction number(Reff)from 4 to 6.Total number of infectious and asymptomatic cases were used to evaluated vaccination effectiveness.Results:Our model showed that we could not prevent outbreaks when covering 80%of HRPs with booster unless Reff=4.0 or the booster vaccine had efficacy against infectivity and susceptibility of more than 90%.The results were consistent when the outcome index was confirmed cases or asymptomatic cases.Conclusions:An ideal coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)booster vaccination strategy for HRPs would be expected to reach the initial goal to control the transmission of the Delta variant in China.Accordingly,the recommendation for the COVID-19 booster vaccine should be implemented in HRPs who are already vaccinated and could prevent transmission to other groups.Kangguo Li Zeyu Zhao Hongjie Wei Jia Rui Jiefeng Huang Xiaohao Guo Yichao Guo Shiting Yang Guzainuer Abudurusuli Li Luo Xingchun Liu Yao Wang Jingwen Xu Yuanzhao Zhu Meng Yang TianlongYang Weikang Liu Bin Deng Chan Liu Zhuoyang Li Peihua Li Shanshan Yu Zimei Yang Yanhua Su Benhua Zhao Yan Niu Tianmu Chen 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,50:2
