| 1 | The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. | 5 | How delaying post-silking senescence in lower leaves of maize plants increases carbon and nitrogen accumulation and grain yield显示文摘Planting maize at high densities leads to early leaf senescence,and the resulting reduction in the number of lower leaves affects the plant’s root function and lowers its grain yield.However,the nature of the process by which lower leaf senescence affects biomass accumulation and grain yield formation in maize is not clear.This study aimed to shed light on how these factors are related by investigating the effects of the plant growth regulator 6-benzyladenine(6-BA)on the senescence of lower leaves of maize plants.In two maize cultivars planted at densities of 67,500(low density,LD)and 90,000(high density,HD)plants ha^(-1),plants treated with 6-BA maintained a high green leaf area index(LAI)longer than control(CK)plants,enabling them to maintain a higher photosynthetic rate for a longer period of time and produce more biomass before reaching physiological maturity.Spraying the lower leaves of maize plants with a 6-BA solution increased the distribution of;C-photosynthates to their roots,lower leaves and bracts,a result that can be ascribed to a decreased retention of;C-photosynthates in the stem and grain.In both seasons of the experiment,maize plants treated with 6-BA accumulated more N in grain and maintained a higher N content in roots and leaves,especially in lower leaves,than CK.Increased C assimilation in the lower leaves may explain why N uptake in plants subjected to the 6-BA treatment exceeded that in CK plants and why both photosynthesis rate and dry matter accumulation were maintained throughout grain filling.Our results suggest that a suitable distribution of C and N in leaves post-silking may maintain plant root function,increase N use efficiency,maximize the duration of high LAI,and increase grain yield. | Rongfa Li Dandan Hu Hao Ren Qinglong Yang Shuting Dong Jiwang Zhang Bin Zhao Peng Liu | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,3: | 2 |

| 7 | Promoted catalytic performances of highly dispersed V-doped SBA-16 catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene显示文摘V-doped SBA-16 catalysts(V-SBA-16) with 3D nanocage mesopores have been successfully synthesized by a modified one-pot method under weak acid condition.The obtained materials were characterized by means of small angle XRD,N_2 adsorption–desorption,TEM,UV–Vis and UV-Raman spectroscopy.These characterization results indicated that well-order mesoporous structures were maintained even at higher vanadium loadings and high concentration of VOx species were incorporated into the framework of SBA-16 support.The catalytic performances of V-SBA-16,V/SBA-16 and V/Si O_2 catalysts were comparatively investigated for the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene.The highest selectivity to ethylene of 63.3% and ethylene yield of 25.6% were obtained over 1.0V-SBA-16 catalyst.The superior catalytic performance of V-SBA-16 catalysts could be attributed to the presence of isolated framework VO x species,the unique structure of SBA-16 support and weak acidity.Moreover,V/Si O_2 catalyst exhibited relatively poor catalytic activity duo to the formation of V_2O_5 nanoparticles on the surface of Si O_2 support and the low dispersion of VO x species.These results indicated that the catalytic performances of the studied catalysts were strongly dependent on the vanadium loading,the nature and neighboring environment of VO x species and the structure of support. | Lian Kong Jianmei Li Qinglong Liu Zhen Zhao Qianyao Sun Jian Liu Yuechang Wei | 2016 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4: | 1 |

| 9 | Comparison of heavy metal accumulation by a bloom-forming cyanobacterium,Microcystis aeruginosa显示文摘Microcystis aeruginosa is the dominant species during cyanobacterial blooms in freshwater lakes.In the present study,we compared the bioaccumulation characteristics of cadmium(Cd) and zinc(Zn) in Microcystis cells.In short-term uptake tests,a rapid sorption of Cd and Zn occurred in the first few minutes,with a subsequent slower internalization process.No obvious difference was observed between Zn and Cd in terms of their short-term uptake kinetics.In efflux experiments,elimination of Zn from the cells was faster than that of Cd.In the 72-h exposure tests,the intracellular Cd concentrations increased with exposure time whereas the intracellular Zn concentrations always reached a plateau.The cellular Cd showed greater variation than the cellular Zn at various free Cd 2+ or Zn 2+ concentrations.The differences in Cd and Zn accumulation and elimination indicated that Microcystis cells had a higher bioaccumulation capacity for Cd than for Zn.In field studies,the bioconcentration factor(BCF) of Cd in lake-harvested Microcystis was more than 10 times higher than those of other metals.The results of the present study strongly suggested that the bloom-forming Microcystis may affect the Cd transportation and biogeochemical cycling in eutrophic freshwater ecosystems. | ZENG Jin ZHAO DaYong JI YongBan WU QingLong | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,28: | 1 |
| 10 | Selective oxidation of ethane to aldehydes over SBA-15 supported molybdenum catalyst显示文摘SBA-15 supported Mo catalysts(Moy/SBA-15) were prepared by an ultrasonic assisted incipient-wetness impregnation method. The physical and chemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by means of N2-adsorption-desorption, XRD, TEM, UV-Vis, Raman, XANES and H2-TPR. The results showed that a trace amount of MoO3 was produced on high Mo content samples. Turn-over frequency(TOF) and product selectivity are dependent on the molybdenum content. Both Mo0.75/SBA-15 and Mo1.75/SBA-15 catalysts give the higher catalytic activity and the selectivity to the total aldehydes for the selective oxidation of C2H6. At the reaction temperature of 625℃, the maximum yield of aldehydes reached 4.2% over Mo0.75/SBA-15 catalyst. | 12 | Transmissibility of tuberculosis among students and non-students:an occupational-specific mathematical modelling显示文摘Background: Recently, despite the steady decline in the tuberculosis (TB) epidemic globally, school TB outbreaks have been frequently reported in China. This study aimed to quantify the transmissibility ofMycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) among students and non-students using a mathematical model to determine characteristics of TB transmission.Methods: We constructed a dataset of reported TB cases from four regions (Jilin Province, Xiamen City, Chuxiong Prefecture, and Wuhan City) in China from 2005 to 2019. We classified the population and the reported cases under student and non-student groups, and developed two mathematical models [nonseasonal model (Model A) and seasonal model (Model B)] based on the natural history and transmission features of TB. The effective reproduction number (R(eff)) of TB between groups were calculated using the collected data.Results: During the study period, data on 456,423 TB cases were collected from four regions: students accounted for 6.1% of cases. The goodness-of-fit analysis showed that Model A had a better fitting effect (P < 0.001). The average R_(eff) of TB estimated from Model A was 1.68 [interquartile range (IQR): 1.20–1.96] in Chuxiong Prefecture, 1.67 (IQR: 1.40–1.93) in Xiamen City, 1.75 (IQR: 1.37–2.02) in Jilin Province, and 1.79 (IQR: 1.56–2.02) in Wuhan City. The average R_(eff) of TB in the non-student population was 23.30 times (1.65/0.07) higher than that in the student population.Conclusions: The transmissibility of MTB remains high in the non-student population of the areas studied, which is still dominant in the spread of TB. TB transmissibility from the non-student-to-student-population had a strong influence on students. Nowadays, the real-time monitoring of HER2 status is important in clinical diagnosis and treatment for HER2-positive patients. Although IHC and FISH assay are standard methods to evaluate the tissue HER2 status, both approaches which required high quality tissue samples and are not suitable for monitoring the status of HER2 in real time. Since extracellular domain(ECD) of the HER2 receptor can be shed into the circulation, the serum test of HER2 ECD has been developed as an additional approach to probe HER2 overexpression. The serum test will be able to monitor the dynamic changes of HER2 status.In this paper, we detected serum HER2 ECD using Cy5-labeled HB5 aptamer as a result of its specific binding ability to HER2 ECD. This aptamer-based fluorescent probe is easily synthesized and modified and as sensitive as anti-HER2 antibodies. | 19 | Genome-Wide Identification,Expression Profiling and Protein-Protein Interaction Properties of the BEL-Like Homeodomain Gene Family in Apple显示文摘BEL1-like homeodomain(BLH)family proteins are homeodomain transcription factors,which are found ubiquitously in plants and play important roles in regulating meristem and flower development.Although BLH proteins have been reported in some plant species,there is very little information available for plants in the Malus genus(e.g.,apple tree:Malus domestica).In the present study,we identified 19 apple MdBLH genes.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the MdBLH genes could be divided into five groups.Analysis of gene structure showed that MdBLH gene has four exons,and the third exon was 61 bp in length.Chromosomal location analysis suggested that the MdBLH genes are not distributed uniformly on 12 chromosomes.Eleven MdBLH genes were cloned by RT-PCR,and their expression patterns were also determined.Among them,the expression levels of MdBLH4.1 and MdBLH9.1 could be induced by sodium chloride stress,while the expression levels of MdATH1.1,MdBLH8.1,MdBLH8.3,and MdBLH11.1 were down-regulated by such stress.Transcriptional levels of MdATH1.1 and MdBLH7.2 were down-regulated by mannitol stress.The result of yeast two-hybrid experiment showed that MdBEL1.1 interacted with apple ovate family proteins 6(MdOFP6),and MdBLH3.1 interacted with the MdOFP4,MdOFP6,MdOFP13,and MdOFP16 proteins.Our results provide a strong theoretical basis and a valuable reference for analyzing of the biological functions of MdBLH proteins as transcription factors in apple growth,development,and stress and also for the construction of regulatory networks. | Huifeng Li Qiang Zhao Hai Wang Qinglong Dong Yi Xu | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,2: | 0 |
