1Selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases over Ni/ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Ni/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by the incipient-wetness impregnation method and were investigated in activity and selectivity for the selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases with more than 20 vol% CO2. The result showed that Ni loadings significantly influenced the performance of Ni/ZrO2 catalyst. The 1.6 wt% Ni loading catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activity among all the catalysts in the selective methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gas. The outlet concentration of CO was less than 20 ppm with the hydrogen consumption below 7%, at a gas-hourly-space velocity as high as 10000 h-1 and a temperature range of 260 °C to 280 °C. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) measurements showed that NiO was dispersed thoroughly on the surface of ZrO2 support if Ni loading was under 1.6 wt%. When Ni loading was increased to 3 wt% or above, the free bulk NiO species began to assemble, which was not favorable to increase the selectivity of the catalyst.Qihai Liu Xinfa Dong Xinman Mo Weiming Lin 2008Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2008,17,3:22
2The jasmonate-induced bHLH gene SlJIG functions in terpene biosynthesis and resistance to insects and fungus显示文摘Jasmonic acid(JA)is a key regulator of plant defense responses.Although the transcription factor MYC2,the master regulator of the JA signaling pathway,orchestrates a hierarchical transcriptional cascade that regulates the JA responses,only a few transcriptional regulators involved in this cascade have been described.Here,we identified the basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH)transcription factor gene in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum),METHYL JASMONATE(MeJA)-INDUCED GENE(SlJIG),the expression of which was strongly induced by MeJA treatment.Genetic and molecular biology experiments revealed that SlJIG is a direct target of MYC2.SlJIG knockout plants generated by gene editing had lower terpene contents than the wild type from the lower expression of TERPENE SYNTHASE(TPS)genes,rendering them more appealing to cotton bollworm(Helicoverpa armigera).Moreover,SlJIG knockouts exhibited weaker JA-mediated induction of TPSs,suggesting that SlJIG may participate in JA-induced terpene biosynthesis.Knocking out SlJIG also resulted in attenuated expression of JA-responsive defense genes,which may contribute to the observed lower resistance to cotton bollworm and to the fungus Botrytis cinerea.We conclude that SlJIG is a direct target of MYC2,forms a MYC2-SlJIG module,and functions in terpene biosynthesis and resistance against cotton bollworm and B.cinerea.Yunyun Cao Lun Liu Kangsheng Ma Wenjing Wang Hongmei Lv Ming Gao Xinman Wang Xichun Zhang Shuxin Ren Na Zhang Yang-Dong Guo 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,5:4
3Metal chelate affinity to immobilize horseradish peroxidase on functionalized agarose/CNTs composites for the detection of catechol显示文摘The paper reports a novel amperometric biosensor for catechol based on immobilization of a highly sensitive horseradish peroxidase by affinity interactions on metal chelate-functionalized agarose/carbon nanotubes composites. Metal chelate affinity takes advantage of the affinity of Ni2+ ions to bind strongly and reversibly to histidine or cysteine tails found on the surface of the horseradish peroxidase. Thus, enzymes with such residues in their molecules can be easily attached to functionalized agarose/carbon nanotubes composites support containing a nickel chelate. Linear sweep voltammograms and amperometry are used to study the proposed electrochemical biosensor. Catechol is determined by direct reduction of biocatalytically liberated quinone species at -0.05 V (vs. SCE). The effect of pH, applied electrode potential and the concentration of H2O2 on the sensitivity of the biosensor has been investigated. 16Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance study on the two-electrode-system cyclic voltammetric behavior of Prussian blue films显示文摘A two-channel electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) was used to investigate the cyclic voltammetric behavior of two Prussian blue (PB) film-modified Au electrodes in a two-electrode con-figuration in aqueous solution. The redox peaks observed in the two-electrode cyclic voltammogram (CV) are assigned to the intrinsic redox transitions among the Everitt's salt, PB, and Prussian yellow for the film itself, the redox process of the Au substrate and the redox process of small-quantity ferri-/ferrocyanide impurities entrapped in the PB film, as also supported by ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroelectrochemical data. The profile of the two-electrode solid-state CV for the PB powder sand-wiched between two gold-coated indium-tin oxide (ITO) electrodes is similar to that for two PB-modified Au electrodes in aqueous solution, implying similar origins for the corresponding redox peaks. 18Oxygen-vacancy-rich phenanthroline/TiO_(2) nanocomposites: An integrated adsorption, detection and photocatalytic material for complex pollutants remediation显示文摘To address the challenge of treating complex pollutants containing heavy metals and organic compounds,a phenanthroline/TiO_(2)nanocomposite with rich oxygen vacancy defects was synthesized to integrate the functions of pollutant detection, adsorption, and photocatalytic degradation. The results showed that the nanocomposite could adsorb Cr^(3+)and the process could be transduced into a colorimetric signal for qualitative and quantitative detection. The adsorbed heavy metal also exhibited a synergistically enhanced photocatalytic degradation of a model organic pollutant under visible light. 19A piezoelectric spectro- electrochemical study on the structural interconversion for poly(o-phenylenediamine) between its ladder structure with phenazine units and polyaniline-like chains显示文摘The combination of reflectance UV-Vis spec- troelectrochemistry with electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) and separate reflectance FTIR char- acterization were used to investigate the structural intercon- version for poly(o-phenylenediamine) (PoPD) between its ladder structure with phenazine units and polyaniline-like linear chains. The poly(o-phenylenediamine) films potentio- statically (0.8 V vs. SCE) grew on Au electrodes from 0.20 mol·L?1 H2SO4 (PoPD1) or 0.40 mol·L?1 NaOH (PoPD2) aque- ous solution containing 0.20 mol·L?1 Na2SO4 + 0.10 mol·L?1 o-phenylenediamine. By considering the mass of deposited PoPD2 film obtained from the EQCM data and the charge consumed under the current peak at ca. 0.6 V vs. SCE for oxidation of -NH2 groups in as-prepared PoPD2 during po- tential cycling in 0.10 mol·L-1 aqueous H2SO4, the molar per- centage of the polyaniline-like chains was estimated to be 19% (relative to total phenylenediamine units), being in agreement with the result obtained from a formaldehyde- combination experiment through the aminocarbonyl reaction. After 40-cycle potential sweeps between 0.2 and 0.8 V vs. SCE the polyaniline-like chains in PoPD2 could be com- pletely converted via intramolecular cyclization into the lad- der structure with phenazine units. However, PoPD1 was found to be perfectly composed of the ladder structure with phenazine units, and after 40-cycle potential sweeps between ?0.4 and 0.1 V vs. SCE only 2.5% in molar percentage of PoPD’s ladder structure could be converted into polyani line-like chains, suggesting that the ladder structure with phenazine units is thermodynamically more stable due to its possessing higher conjugation.TU Xinman XIE Qingji WANG Meiling ZHANG Youyu YAO Shouzhuo 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,15:0
20Intraspecific leaf morphological variation in Quercus dentata Thunb.:a comparison of traditional and geometric morphometric methods,a pilot study显示文摘To compare the application of traditional morphometric methods(TMMs)and geometric morphometric methods(GMMs)in the study of intraspecific leaf morphological characters of Quercus dentata,fifteen linear measurement indices and thirteen landmarks of leaves were used to study leaf morphology of three provenances(H1,H2,and H3).In TMMs,principal component analysis(PCA)showed that leaf size–related indices played an important role in population classification.Partial least square(PLS)analysis showed that the main morphological characters affecting leaf size were the average depth of the lobes and the length–width ratios.However,the important indices to distinguish the provenances were circularity,leaf width,and length–width ratio.The results of discriminant analysis(DA)showed that 74.0%of H1,68.0%of H2,and 74.0%of H3 were correctly classified.Cluster analysis showed that the Mahalanobis distances between H1 and H2,H1 and H3,and H2 and H3 were 4.3761,11.4629,and 10.2067,respectively.In GMMs,PCA based on symmetrical components showed that the difference in leaf morphology was mainly due to the changing trend of the leaf apex and base,petiole length,and degree of leaf cracking.PLS analysis showed that there was a significant covariation between the leaf symmetrical components and size:as the leaf enlarged,the widest part gradually moved up,and the shape changed from nearly oval to lanceolate.DA results showed that 86.0%and 78.0%of H1 and H2,70.0%and 80.0%of H1 and H3,and 82.0%and 76.0%of H2 and H3 were correctly classified.Canonical variate analysis results showed that the Mahalanobis distances between H1 and H2,H1 and H3,and H2 and H3 were 1.7238,1.5380,and 1.6329,respectively.Both GMMs and TMMs showed significant differences in morphology among the three Q.dentata provenances,but GMMs had higher classification accuracy and could provide more information about leaf shape,whereas TMMs could provide more information about leaf size.Based on our results,GMMs are promising in the study of leaf morphological variation within Q.dentata provenances.Kaiyu Yang Jianghao Wu Xinman Li Xinbo Pang Yangchen Yuan Guohui Qi Minsheng Yang 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,6:0
