2Cooperative geometric localization for a ground target based on the relative distances by multiple UAVs显示文摘Based on the locations of several unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) and their relative distances from a target, a ground target cooperative geometric localization method that is more effective than a traditional approach is proposed in this paper. First, an algorithm for determining the location of the target is described. The effectiveness and suitability of the proposed algorithm are then shown. Next, to investigate the location accuracy of the proposed method, the influence of three critical factors, namely, the flight altitude, UAV position errors, and measurement errors, is analyzed. Furthermore, for the required location accuracy, the feasible regions of these factors are determined based on their influence, and the location accuracy will satisfy the requirements if all factors are within the feasible regions. 4Influence of ammonium sulfate on YAG nanopowders and Yb:YAG ceramics synthesized by a novel homogeneous co-precipitation method显示文摘Homogeneous and dispersed Y_3 Al_5 O_(12)(yttrium aluminum garnet,YAG) nanopowders were synthesized via a homogeneous co-precipitation method from the mixed solutions of yttrium nitrate,aluminum nitrate and a small amount of ammonium sulfate using hot urea as the precipitant.The method has the superiorities that co-precipitation of cations is ensured and continuous decomposition of the hot urea is achieved to obtain the narrow size distribution particles.The addition of small amount of ammonium sulfate surfactant,although has no influence on YAG garnet phase formation,has significant effect on dispersion,particles distribution and sinterability of the resultant YAG and Yb:YAG powders.Compared with the undoped sample,the green body of Yb:YAG doped with ammonium sulfate has higher total shrinkage,linear shrinkage rate and relative density through sintering at 1600 ℃.The resultant Yb:YAG powders can be sintered into transparent ceramics at 1700 ℃ through vacuum sintering.The influence of the sulfate ions on characteristics of the resultant powders was thoroughly studied.Jinsheng Li Zhifa Liu Lei Wu Xiumei Han Xiwei Qi Xudong Sun 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,9:1

6The kinetic study of light alkene syntheses by CO_(2) hydrogenation over Fe-Ni catalysts显示文摘A kinetics model of CO_(2) hydrogenation over iron-nickel catalysts was developed based on the detailed mechanism of alkenes re-adsorption and secondary reaction.The corresponding kinetical experiments are conducted in a continuous fixed bed reactor.The effect of reaction conditions on catalyst performance was analyzed according to the results of orthogonal experiments.The results of the experiments show that more methane in products can be obtained with iron-nickel catalysts,the trend of which is consistent with the thermodynamic analysis.However,the content of alkenes in products is equivalent with that of alkanes.This shows that the reaction is controlled by kinetics.In all,the results of the experiments also substantiate that the model can give a good representation of the reaction mechanism of CO_(2) hydrogenation over iron-nickel catalysts.The parameters of this model give a better explanation for the question why the iron-nickel catalysts have a higher selectivity toward alkenes compared with other iron-based catalysts.Yaling ZHAO Li WANG Xiwei HAO Jiazhou WU 2010Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,2:1

9Adaptive vector field based accurate homing control of aerial delivery systems显示文摘This paper investigates the homing control problem of a flexible aerial delivery system with external wind,at-mospheric turbulence,and aerodynamic uncertainties.An accurate homing control strategy is presented,consisting of a trajectory generation algorithm and a lateral tracking controller.A high-altitude trajectory generation is de-veloped with system characteristics explicitly considered to generate the desired trajectory for the aerial delivery control system design.It significantly compensates for the altitude deviation of the existing multiphase theory based trajectory generation methodologies.A novel adaptive vector field control law is then designed to accomplish the lateral tracking maneuvers.The key feature of the proposed method is that the complete lateral closed-loop control,including position and heading angle loops,is achieved in the presence of disturbances and dynamic uncertainties.The homing control with high landing accuracy is therefore achieved.Simulation and hardware-in-loop testing results are finally presented to validate the proposed method’s effectiveness compared to a conventional homing control scheme.Yiming GUO Jianguo YAN Cihang WU Xiwei WU Bing XIAO 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2:0
10An FV-EE model to predict lean blowout limits for gas turbine combustors with different structures and sprays显示文摘The occurrence of Lean Blowout(LBO)is a disadvantage that endangers a stable operation of gas turbines.A determination of LBO limits is essential in the design of gas turbine combustors.A semiempirical model is one of the most widely used methods to predict LBO limits.Among the existing semiempirical models for predicting LBO limits,Lefebvre’s LBO model and the Flame Volume(FV)model are particularly suitable for gas turbine combustors.On the basis of Lefebvre’s and FV models,the concept of effective evaporation efficiency is introduced in this paper,and a Flame Volume-Evaporation Efficiency(FV-EE)model is derived and validated.LBO experiments are carried out in a model combustor with 23 different structures and 10 different sprays.The prediction uncertainty of the FV-EE model is less than±13%for all of these 33 structures and sprays,compared with±50%for the FV model and±60%for Lefebvre’s model.Furthermore,the prediction uncertainty of the FV-EE model is also less than±13%for other combustors from available literature.Xiwei WANG Yong HUANG Yunfeng LIU Yufan WU Hongyan WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,5:0

12Boosting overall saline water splitting by constructing a strain-engineered high-entropy electrocatalyst显示文摘High-entropy materials(HEMs),which are newly manufactured compounds that contain five or more metal cations,can be a platform with desired properties,including improved electrocatalytic performance owing to the inherent complexity.Here,a strain engineering methodology is proposed to design transition-metal-based HEM by Li manipulation(LiTM)with tunable lattice strain,thus tailoring the electronic structure and boosting electrocatalytic performance.As confirmed by the experiments and calculation results,tensile strain in the LiTM after Li manipulation can optimize the d-band center and increase the electrical conductivity.Accordingly,the asprepared LiTM-25 demonstrates optimized oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction activity in alkaline saline water,requiring ultralow overpotentials of 265 and 42 mV at 10 mA cm−2,respectively.More strikingly,LiTM-25 retains 94.6%activity after 80 h of a durability test when assembled as an anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzer.Finally,in order to show the general efficacy of strain engineering,we incorporate Li into electrocatalysts with higher entropies as well.Ateer Bao Yaohang Gu Yuxuan Zhang Bowen Zhang Juncheng Wu Bo Ni Xiaoyan Zhang Haijun Pan Xiwei Qi 2024Carbon Energy2024,6,2:0
13Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation and Model Predictive Control–Based Macro-Micro Trajectory Optimization of Microsatellite Swarm显示文摘Probabilistic swarm guidance enables autonomous microsatellites to generate their individual trajectories independently so that the entire swarm converges to the desired distribution shape.However,it is essential to avoid crowding for reducing the possibility of collisions between microsatellites.To determine the collision-free guidance trajectory of each microsatellite from the current position to the target space,a collision avoidance algorithm is necessary.A synthesis method is proposed that generate the collision avoidance trajectories.The idea is that the trajectory planning is divided into macro-planning and microplanning;macro-planning guides where the microsatellites move step by step from the initial cube to the target cube by probabilistic swarm guidance with Centroidal Voronoi tessellation,while the micro-planning is to generate the optimal path for each step and finally reach the specified position in the target cube by model predictive control.Simulation results are presented for the collision-free guidance trajectory of microsatellites to verify the benefits of this planning scheme.Xiwei Wu Bing Xiao Cihang Wu Yiming Guo 2022Space(Science & Technology)2022,,1:0
14Switchable Kirigami Structures as Window Envelopes for Energy-Efficient Buildings显示文摘Efficient regulation of thermal radiation is an effective way to conserve energy consumption of buildings.Because windows are the least energy-efficient part of buildings,their thermal radiation regulation is highly demanded,especially in the changing environment,but is still a challenge.Here,by employing a kirigami structure,we design a variable-angle thermal reflector as a transparent envelope of windows for their thermal radiation modulation.The envelope can be easily switched between heating and cooling modes by loading different pre-stresses,which endow the envelope windows with the ability of temperature regulation,and the interior temperature of a building model can be reduced by~3.3°C under cooling mode and increased by~3.9°C under heating mode in the outdoor test.The improved thermal management of windows by the adaptive envelope provides an extra heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning energy savings percentage of 13%to 29%per year for buildings located in different climate zones around the world,making the kirigami envelope windows a promising way for energy-saving utilization.Hanzhi Yin Xishu Zhou Zhengui Zhou Rong Liu Xiwei Mo Zewen Chen Erqi Yang Zhen Huang Hao Li Hao Wu Jun Zhou Yi Long Bin Hu 2023Research2023,,4:0
15Complex Traffic Scene Image Classification Based on Sparse Optimization Boundary Semantics Deep Learning显示文摘With the rapid development of intelligent traffic information monitoring technology,accurate identification of vehicles,pedestrians and other objects on the road has become particularly important.Therefore,in order to improve the recognition and classification accuracy of image objects in complex traffic scenes,this paper proposes a segmentation method of semantic redefine segmentation using image boundary region.First,we use the Seg Net semantic segmentation model to obtain the rough classification features of the vehicle road object,then use the simple linear iterative clustering(SLIC)algorithm to obtain the over segmented area of the image,which can determine the classification of each pixel in each super pixel area,and then optimize the target segmentation of the boundary and small areas in the vehicle road image.Finally,the edge recovery ability of condition random field(CRF)is used to refine the image boundary.The experimental results show that compared with FCN-8s and Seg Net,the pixel accuracy of the proposed algorithm in this paper improves by 2.33%and 0.57%,respectively.And compared with Unet,the algorithm in this paper performs better when dealing with multi-target segmentation.ZHOU Xiwei WANG Huifeng LI Saisai PENG Haonan WU Jianfeng 2023Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2023,28,2:0

17Evaluation of neural network models for landslide susceptibility assessment显示文摘Identifying and assessing the disaster risk of landslide-prone regions is very critical for disaster prevention and mitigation.Owning to their special advantages,neural network algorithms have been widely used for landslide susceptibility mapping(LSM)in recent decades.In the present study,three advanced neural network models popularly used in relevant studies,i.e.artificial neural network(ANN),one dimensional convolutional neural network(1D CNN)and recurrent neural network(RNN),were evaluated and compared for LSM practice over the Qingchuan County,Sichuan province,China.Extensive experimental results demonstrated satisfactory performances of these three neural network models in accurately predicting susceptible regions.Specifically,ANN and 1D CNN models yielded quite consistent LSM results but slightly differed from those of RNN model spatially.Nevertheless,accuracy evaluations revealed that the RNN model outperformed the other two models both qualitatively and quantitatively but its complexity was relatively high.Experiments concerning training hyper-parameters on the performance of neural network models for LSM suggested that relatively small batch size values with Tanh activation function and SGD optimizer are essential to improve the performance of neural network models for LSM,which may provide a thread to help those who apply these advanced algorithms to improve their efficiency.Yaning Yi Wanchang Zhang Xiwei Xu Zhijie Zhang Xuan Wu 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:0
