| 1 | Modeling study of regional severe hazes over mid-eastern China in January 2013 and its implications on pollution prevention and control显示文摘The Nested Air Quality Prediction Model System(NAQPMS)was used to investigate the temporal and spatial variations of PM2.5over tropospheric central eastern China in January 2013.The impact of regional transport and its implications on pollution prevention and control were also examined.Comparison between simulated and observed PM2.5showed NAQPMS was able to reproduce the evolution of PM2.5during heavy haze episodes.The results indicated that regional transport of PM2.5played an important role in regional haze episodes in the city cluster including Hebei,Beijing and Tianjin(HBT).The cross-city clusters transport outside HBT and transport among cities inside HBT contributed 20%–35%and 26%–35%of PM2.5as compared with local emission,in HBT respectively.To meet the Air Quality Standards for Grade II,90%,90%and65%of emissions would have to be cut down in Hebei,Tianjin and Beijing,if non-control strategy was taken in the surrounding city clusters of HBT.This implicated that control of emissions in one city cluster is not sufficient to reduce regional haze events,and joint efforts among city clusters are essential.Besides regional transports,two-way feedback between boundary-layer evolution and PM2.5also significantly contributed to the formation of heavy hazes,which contributed 30%of monthly average PM2.5concentration in HBT. | WANG ZiFa LI Jie WANG Zhe YANG WenYi TANG Xiao GE BaoZhu YAN PinZhong ZHU LiLi CHEN XueShun CHEN HuanSheng WAND Wei LI JianJun LIU Bing WANG XiaoYan WAND Wei ZHAO YiLin LU Ning SU DeBin | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014，57，1： | 106 |

| 4 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. | 11 | Spatial variability of soil total nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in Renshou County of Sichuan Basin,China显示文摘Understanding soil nutrient distributions and the factors affecting them are crucial for fertilizer management and environmental protection in vulnerable ecological regions.Based on 555 soil samples collected in 2012 in Renshou County,located in the purple soil hilly area of Sichuan Basin,China,the spatial variability of soil total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP)and total potassium(TK)was studied with geostatistical analysis and the relative roles of the affecting factors were quantified using regression analysis.The means of TN,TP and TK contents were 1.12,0.82 and 9.64 g kg^(–1),respectively.The coefficients of variation ranged from 30.56 to 38.75%and the nugget/sill ratios ranged from 0.45 to 0.61,indicating that the three soil nutrients had moderate variability and spatial dependence.Two distribution patterns were observed.TP and TK were associated with patterns of obvious spatial distribution trends while the spatial distribution of TN was characterized by higher variability.Soil group,land use type and topographic factors explained 26.5,35.6 and 8.4%of TN variability,respectively,with land use being the dominant factor.Parent material,soil group,land use type and topographic factors explained 17.5,10.7,12.0 and 5.0%of TP variability,respectively,and both parent material and land use type played important roles.Only parent material and soil type contributed to TK variability and could explain 25.1 and 13.7%of TK variability,respectively.More attention should focus on adopting reasonable land use types for the purposes of fertilizer management and consider the different roles of the affecting factors at the landscape scale in this purple soil hilly area. | GAO Xue-song XIAO Yi DENG Liang-ji LI Qi-quan WANG Chang-quan LI Bing DENG Ou-ping ZENG Min | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019，18，2： | 19 |
| 12 | One-year clinical study of NeuroR egen scaffold implantation following scar resection in complete chronic spinal cord injury patients显示文摘The objective of this clinical study was to assess the safety and feasibility of the collagen scaffold, Neuro Regen scaffold, one year after scar tissue resection and implantation. Scar tissue is a physical and chemical barrier that prevents neural regeneration. However, identification of scar tissue is still a major challenge. In this study, the nerve electrophysiology method was used to distinguish scar tissue from normal neural tissue, and then different lengths of scars ranging from 0.5–4.5 cm were surgically resected in five complete chronic spinal cord injury(SCI) patients. The NeuroR egen scaffold along with autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells(BMMCs), which have been proven to promote neural regeneration and SCI recovery in animal models, were transplanted into the gap in the spinal cord following scar tissue resection. No obvious adverse effects related to scar resection or Neuro Regen scaffold transplantation were observed immediately after surgery or at the 12-month follow-up. In addition, patients showed partially autonomic nervous function improvement, and the recovery of somatosensory evoked potentials(SSEP) from the lower limbs was also detected. | 16 | Adaptive Integral-type Sliding Mode Control for Spacecraft Attitude Maneuvering Under Actuator Stuck Failures显示文摘A fault tolerant control (FTC) design technique against actuator stuck faults is investigated using integral-type sliding mode control (ISMC) with application to spacecraft attitude maneuvering control system. The principle of the proposed FTC scheme is to design an integral-type sliding mode attitude controller using on-line parameter adaptive updating law to compensate for the effects of stuck actuators. This adaptive law also provides both the estimates of the system parameters and external disturbances such that a prior knowledge of the spacecraft inertia or boundedness of disturbances is not required. Moreover, by including the integral feedback term, the designed controller can not only tolerate actuator stuck faults, but also compensate the disturbances with constant components. For the synthesis of controller, the fault time, patterns and values are unknown in advance, as motivated from a practical spacecraft control application. | 18 | Percutaneous ethanol injection, radiofrequency and their combination in treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the therapeutic effect and the indication of percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI),radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and their combination in treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHODS: Two hundred and fifty-five patients with HCC received treatment of PEI, RFA or their combination.Group1 (< 3 cm in diameter, n=85) was treated with PEI,group2 (< 3 cm in diameter, n=153) with RFA. Group3(>3 cm in diameter, n=86) was divided into two groups.Group 3a (n=34) was treated with RFA, while group 3b(n=52) was treated with RFA for 2 wk after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization or PEI. Contrast-enhanced sonography was performed for 61 patients before and after RFA. Liver function and serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) were measured for all patients. Changes of the lesions on ultrasound and contrast-enhanced CT/MRI were evaluated for assessing the therapeutic responses.The 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-year survival rates were recorded after treatment.RESULTS: In group 1, the complete necrosis rate of lesions after 1 mo was 77.6% (66/85). The level of AFP declined conspicuously after 1 mo. The 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-year survival rate after treatment was 80.0% (52/65),60.4% (32/53), 52.5% (21/40) and 33.3% (7/21),respectively. In group 2, the complete necrosis rate of lesions after 1 moh was 92.2% (141/153). The level of AFP decreased conspicuously after 1 mo. The 1-, 2-,3- and 5-year survival rate after treatment was 94.6%(88/93), 73.2% (52/71), 63.5% (33/52) and 46.4%(13/28), respectively. In group 3a, the complete necrosis rate of lesions after 1 mo was 23.5% (8/34). AFP dropped down to the normal level in only one patient after 1 mo. The 1-, 2- and 3-year survival rate after treatment was 47.6% (10/21), 42.9% (6/14) and 27.3%(3/11), respectively. Only one patient was still alive after 5 years. In group 3b, the complete necrosis rate of lesions after 1 mo was 57.7% (30/52). The level of AFP decreased after 1 mo. The 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-year survival rate after treatment was 68.6% (24/35), 46.2% (12/26),36.8% (7/19) and 27.3% (3/11), respectively.CONCLUSION: The therapeutic effect of RFA on small HCC is better than that of PEI. Small HCC is the optimal indication of RFA.
