1152 W high-power blue diode laser operated at 447 nm显示文摘We demonstrate a high-power blue diode laser operated at 447 nm combining laser diodes using an optical fiber bundle. As many as 127 diode lasers at 447 nm were coupled into 400 μm/0.22 NA fibers using an aspherical lens group with different focus lengths. The bare fibers were mechanically bundled through high temperature ultraviolet adhesive after the coatings of the 127 fibers were stripped. The diameter of the fiber bundle was 6 mm. 2Study on a segmented electro-pneumatic braking system for heavy-haul trains显示文摘The large longitudinal impact of heavy-haul trains is the main factor limiting their development,and the asynchronous nature of train-braking systems is the main cause of this longitudinal impact.In this paper,a segmented electro-pneumatic braking solution fully compatible with the existing freight-train braking system in China is proposed to improve the synchrony of train-braking systems.A simulation model for this braking system is developed based on air-flow theory,the 120 distribution valve and electronic control devices.The braking characteristics obtained from simulations are compared to those from the train-brake testing platform,and show high fidelity.On this basis,the effects of the new braking system on the braking capacity and longitudinal impact of a 20000 t heavy-haul train are analysed by further simulation.The results show that during service brakes,the segmented electro-pneumatic braking system can increase the braking capacity by 4.2–24.7%and reduce the coupler force by 21.6–68.0%.Therefore,it can be seen that the segmented electro-pneumatic braking system is a new type of electro-pneumatic brake that meets the needs of the Chinese railway network.It solves the problem of the longitudinal impact of heavy-haul trains satisfactorily,and its compatibility with the existing braking system(resulting in a reduced modification workload)makes it possible to maintain normal operations on heavy-haul lines while trains undergo modification.Wei Wei Yong Jiang Yuan Zhang Xubao Zhao Jun Zhang 2020Transportation Safety and Environment2020,2,3:2

14Immobilization of cobalt oxide nanoparticles on porous nitrogen-doped carbon as electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution显示文摘Highly efficient and robust electrocatalysts have been in urgent demand for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).For this purpose,high-cost carbon materials,such as graphene and carbon nanotubes,have been used as supports to metal oxides to enhance their catalytic activity.We report here a new Co_(3)O_(4)-based catalyst with nitrogen-doped porous carbon material as the support,prepared by pyrolysis of porous polyurea(PU) with Co(NO_(3))_(2)immobilized on its surface.To this end,PU was first synthesized,without any additive,through a very simple one-step precipitation polymerization of toluene diisocyanate in a binary mixture of H2O-acetone at room temperature.By immersing PU in an aqueous solution of Co(NO_(3))_(2)at room temperature,a cobalt coordinated polymer composite,Co(NO_(3))_(2)/PU,was obtained,which was heated at 500℃ in air for 2 h to get a hybrid,Co_(3)O_(4)/NC,consisting of Co_(3)O_(4)nanocrystals and sp2-hybridized N-doped carbon.Using this Co_(3)O_(4)/NC as a catalyst in OER,a current density of10 mA·cm^(-2)was readily achieved with a low overpotential of 293 mV with a Tafel slope of87 mV·dec^(-1),a high catalytic activity.This high performance was well retained after 1000 recycled uses,demonstrating its good durability.This work provides therefore a facile yet simple pathway to fabrication of a new transition metal oxides-based N-doped carbon catalyst for OER with high performance.Shusheng Li Rui Kuang Xiangzheng Kong Xiaoli Zhu Xubao Jiang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,,12:0
15Influence of quick release valve on braking performance and coupler force of heavy haul train显示文摘We establish a simulation model based on the theory of air flow to analyze the accelerated release effect of the quick release valve inside the air brake control valve.In addition, the combined simulation system of train air brake system and longitudinal train dynamics is used to analyze how the parameters of the quick release valve in the 120/120–1 brake control valve affect the propagation characteristics of the train brake pipe pressure wave, the release action range of the accelerated brake, and the longitudinal coupler force for a 20,000-ton heavy haul train on the section of the Datong–Qinhuangdao Railway. The results show that the quick release valve can effectively accelerate the rising speed of the train brake pipe pressure during the initial release, as the accelerated release effect is evident before the train brake pipe pressure reaches582 k Pa. The quick release valve can effectively accelerate the release of the rear cars, reducing the longitudinal coupler force impact due to time delay of the release process. 16Fluorescence Behavior and Emission Mechanisms of Poly(ethylene succinamide)and Its Applications in Fe^(3+)Detection and Data Encryption显示文摘Conventional fluorescent polymers are featured by large conjugation structures.In contrast,a new class of fluorescent polymers without any conjugations is gaining great interest in immerging applications.Polyamide is a typical member of the conjugation-free fluorescent polymers.However,studies on their electrophotonic property are hardly available,although widely used in many fields.Herein,poly(ethylene succinamide),PA24,is synthesized;its chemical structure confirmed through multiple techniques(NMR,FTIR,XRD,etc.).PA24 is highly emissive as solid and in its solution at room temperature,and the emission is excitation and concentration dependant,with an unusual blue shift under excitation from 270 nm to 320 nm,a hardly observed phenomenon for all fluorescent polymers.Quite similar emission behavior is also observed under cryogenic condition at 77 K.Its emission behavior is thoroughly studied;the ephemeral emission blue-shift is interpreted through Förster resonance energy transfer.Based on its structures,the emission mechanism is ascribed to cluster-triggered emission,elucidated from multianalyses(NMR,FTIR,UV absorbance and DLS).In presence of a dozen of competitive metal ions,PA24 emission at 450 nm is selectively quenched by Fe^(3+).PA24 is used as probe for Fe^(3+)and H_(2)O_(2) detections and in data encryption.Therefore,this work provides a novel face of polyamide with great potential applications as sensors in different fields.Xubao Jiang Qinghui Wang Bin Li Shusheng Li Xiang Zheng Kong 2023Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2023,41,1:0
17Methyltransferase 3A-mediated promoter methylation represses retinoic acid receptor responder 3 expression in basal-like breast cancer显示文摘Retinoic acid receptor responder 3(RARRES3)has been characterized as a tumor suppressor in multiple types of cancer.This study aimed to examine the expression profile of RARRES3 across the PAM50 subtypes of breast cancer.The DNA methylation status of RARRES3 was checked in the basal-like subtype,and the underlying mechanisms of its dysregulation were explored.RNA-sequencing(seq)and methylation data from The Cancer Genome Atlas were used for in-silico analysis.Basal-like representative SUM149 and MDA-MB-468 cell lines were used for in vitro and in vivo studies.Compared to tumor-adjacent normal tissues,only the basal-like tumor tissues had significantly downregulated RARRES3 expression.The methylation level of four CpG sites in the promoter region showed a strong negative correlation with RARRES3 expression.The gene coding for DNA methyltransferase 3A(DNMT3A)had consistent positive correlations with the methylation of the CpG sites.Chromatin Immunoprecipitation-quantitative polymerase chain-reaction and bisulfite sequencing PCR showed that DNMT3A could bind to the promoter region of RARRES3 and promote methylation of the CpG sites within the region.DNMT3A knockdown significantly restored RARRES3 expression at the mRNA and protein level in the two cell lines.CCK-8,colony formation,and flow cytometric analysis showed that RARRES3 overexpression attenuated the growth-promoting effects of DNMT3A overexpression and also weakened the DNMT3A overexpression-induced activation of ERK1/2 and PI3K/AKT signaling.In summary,this study revealed that DNMT3A enhances promoter methylation of the RARRES3 gene and suppresses its transcription in basal-like breast cancer.The DNMT3A-RARRES3 signaling pathway might be a potential target for the treatment of this tumor subtype.YOULIN TUO XUBAO LIU 2023BIOCELL2023,47,2:0
