2The FAST Galactic Plane Pulsar Snapshot survey:I.Project design and pulsar discoveries显示文摘Discovery of pulsars is one of the main goals for large radio telescopes.The Five-hundredmeter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST),that incorporates an L-band 19-beam receiver with a system temperature of about 20 K,is the most sensitive radio telescope utilized for discovering pulsars.We designed the snapshot observation mode for a FAST key science project,the Galactic Plane Pulsar Snapshot(GPPS)survey,in which every four nearby pointings can observe a cover of a sky patch of 0.1575 square degrees through beam-switching of the L-band 19-beam receiver.The integration time for each pointing is 300 seconds so that the GPPS observations for a cover can be made in 21 minutes.The goal of the GPPS survey is to discover pulsars within the Galactic latitude of±10∘from the Galactic plane,and the highest priority is given to the inner Galaxy within±5∘.Up to now,the GPPS survey has discovered 201 pulsars,including currently the faintest pulsars which cannot be detected by other telescopes,pulsars with extremely high dispersion measures(DMs)which challenge the currently widely used models for the Galactic electron density distribution,pulsars coincident with supernova remnants,40 millisecond pulsars,16 binary pulsars,some nulling and mode-changing pulsars and rotating radio transients(RRATs).The follow-up observations for confirmation of new pulsars have polarization-signals recorded for polarization profiles of the pulsars.Re-detection of previously known pulsars in the survey data also leads to significant improvements in parameters for 64 pulsars.The GPPS survey discoveries are published and will be updated at http://zmtt.bao.ac.cn/GPPS/.J.L.Han Chen Wang P.F.Wang Tao Wang D.J.Zhou Jing-Hai Sun Yi Yan Wei-Qi Su Wei-Cong Jing Xue Chen X.Y.Gao Li-Gang Hou Jun Xu K.J.Lee Na Wang Peng Jiang Ren-Xin Xu Jun Yan Heng-Qian Gan Xin Guan Wen-Jun Huang Jin-Chen Jiang Hui Li Yun-Peng Men Chun Sun Bo-Jun Wang H.G.Wang Shuang-Qiang Wang Jin-Tao Xie Heng Xu Rui Yao Xiao-Peng You D.J.Yu Jian-Ping Yuan Rai Yuen Chun-Feng Zhang Yan Zhu 2021Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2021,21,5:4
3Taxonomy on crane flies from Mountain Huang, China, with descriptions of two new species(Diptera: Tipulidae)显示文摘The paper reports eight species from Mountain Huang, Anhui, China, including two new species, Nephrotoma huangshanensis sp. nov. and Tipula(Pterelachisus) pseudobiaciculifera sp. nov. 4An unexpected large continental source of reactive bromine and chlorine with significant impact on wintertime air quality显示文摘Halogen atoms affect the budget of ozone and the fate of pollutants such as hydrocarbons and mercury.Yet their sources and significances in polluted continental regions are poorly understood.Here we report the observation of unprecedented levels(averaging at 60 parts per trillion)of bromine chloride(BrCl)at a mid-latitude site in North China during winter.Widespread coal burning in rural households and a photo-assisted process were the primary source of BrCl and other bromine gases.BrCl contributed about 55%of both bromine and chlorine atoms.The halogen atoms increased the abundance of'conventional'tropospheric oxidants(OH,HO_(2) and RO_(2))by 26%-73%,and enhanced oxidation of hydrocarbon by nearly a factor of two and the net ozone production by 55%.Our study reveals the significant role of reactive halogen in winter atmospheric chemistry and the deterioration of air quality in continental regions where uncontrolled coal combustion is prevalent.Xiang Peng Weihao Wang Men Xia Hui Chen A.R.Ravishankara Qinyi Li Alfonso Saiz-Lopez Pengfei Liu Fei Zhang Chenglong Zhang Likun Xue Xinfeng Wang Christian George Jinhe Wang Yujing Mu Jianmin Chen Tao Wang 2021National Science Review2021,8,7:2

15Residue behaviors and dietary risk of cyazofamid in turnip,onion and romaine lettuce assessed by a QuEChERS-LC-MS/MS methods显示文摘In this study, the dissipation, terminal residues and dietary risk of the cyazofamid residue in three globally consumed minor crops, turnip(Brassica rapa L.), onion(Allium cepa L.)and romaine lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.)were assessed by supervised field trials at 6 locations of China in 2020. A reliable QuEChERS-LC-MS/MS method was developed for simultaneous analysis of cyazofamid and its primary metabolite, 4-chloro-5-p-tolylimidazole-2-carbonitrile(CCIM). The average recoveries of cyazofamid and CCIM in turnip, onion and romaine lettuce were 79%–97% and 77%–99%, respectively. The half-lives of cyazofamid in these crops were 5.7–6.5, 5.3–8.7 and 5.8–6.5 days in turnip, onion and romaine lettuce, respectively, with the final cyazofamid residues at harvest all lower than limit of quantitation(LOQ, 0.01 mg/kg). The turnip roots, onion bulbs and romaine lettuce leaves grown in China under Good Agricultural Practices conditions and harvested 10, 14 and 5 days, respectively, after the cyazofamid SC(100 g/L)application, would be reasonably safe for consumption by the general population.
