1Studies on classification,criteria and control of rockbursts显示文摘This paper attempts to present the findings involving rockbursts classification,rockburst failure criteria,and related control measures.Experimental investigations were performed using the strainburst testing machine and impact-induced rockburst testing machine.According to the stress paths and experimental methods,rockbursts were classified into two major groups,i.e.the strainbursts and impact-induced bursts.The mechanisms and criteria of rockburst obtained from experimental investigations were discussed.Then,the developments of constant-resistance and large-deformation bolt(CRLDB),which can adapt itself to the external loading at a constant resistance by elongating continually,were introduced.The deformation energy of country rocks with large deformation can be absorbed by CRLDBs.Finally,the principles and the experimental results for control and prevention of rockburst using the CRLDBs were presented.Manchao He Hongman Xia Xuena Jia Weili Gong Fei Zhao Kangyuan Liang 2012Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2012,4,2:21
2Intercropping with Solanum nigrum and Solanum photeinocarpum from Two Ecoclimatic Regions Promotes Growth and Reduces Cadmium Uptake of Eggplant Seedlings显示文摘Soil contamination by heavy metals is a serious environmental problem worldwide, and reduction of heavy metal accumulation in vegetables grown on contaminated land is a matter of urgency. A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of intercropping with the Cd hyperaccumulators Solanum nigrum and Solanum photeinocarpum from two ecoclimatic regions, Ya'an and Chengdu,Sichuan Province, China, on the growth and cadmium(Cd) uptake of eggplant(Solanum melongena L.). The biomass, photosynthetic pigment contents, and activities of antioxidant enzymes of eggplant were enhanced by intercropping. The biomass of eggplant was the highest after intercropping with S. photeinocarpum from Ya'an, but did not differ significantly from that after intercropping with S. nigrum from Chengdu. The shoot Cd content of eggplant was significantly reduced by intercropping with the hyperaccumulators,which ranked as follows: S. nigrum from Chengdu > S. nigrum from Ya'an > S. photeinocarpum from Chengdu > S. photeinocarpum from Ya'an, with the decreases being 19.60%, 14.36%, 9.66%, and 6.42%, respectively, as compared with the control. The lowest shoot Cd content and translocation factor of eggplant were attained after intercropping with S. nigrum from Chengdu. 3Feasibility and advantage of biofilm-electrode reactor for phenol degradation显示文摘The new biofilm-electrode method was used for the phenol degradation,because of its low current requirement.The biofilm-electrode reactor consisted of immobilized degrading bacteria on Ti electrode as cathode and Ti/PbO2 electrode as anode.With the biofilmelectrode reactor in a divided electrolytic cell,the phenol degradation rate could achieve 100%at 18 h which was higher than using traditional methods,such as biological or electrochemical methods.Chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate of the biofilmelectrode reactor was also greater than that using biological and electrochemical method,and could reach 80%at 16 h.The results suggested that the biofilm-electrode reactor system can be used to treat wastewater with phenol.ZHANG Xuena HUANG Weimin WANG Xuan GAO Yu LIN Haibo 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,9:8
4Characterization of 500 Chinese patients with cervical esophageal cancer by clinicopathological and treatment outcomes显示文摘Objective: There are no comprehensive studies on survival outcomes and optimal treatment protocols for cervical esophageal cancer(CEC), due to its rare clinical prevalence. Our objective was to determine the relationship between pathological characteristics, treatment protocols, and survival outcomes in Chinese CEC patients.Methods: A total of 500 Chinese CEC patients were selected from our 500,000 esophageal and gastric cardia carcinoma database(1973–2018). There were two main groups: patients treated with surgery, and patients receiving non-surgical treatments(radiotherapy, radiochemotherapy, and chemotherapy). The Chi-square test and Kaplan–Meier method were used to compare the continuous variables and survival.Results: Among the 500 CEC patients, 278(55.6%) were male, and the median age was 60.9 ± 9.4 years. A total of 496 patients(99.2%) were diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. In 171(34.2%) patients who received surgery, 22(12.9%) had undergone laryngectomy. In 322(64.4%) patients who received non-surgical treatments, 245(76.1%) received radiotherapy. Stratified survival analysis showed that only T stage was related with survival outcomes for CEC patients in the surgical group, and the outcomes between laryngectomy and non-laryngectomy patients were similar. It was noteworthy that the 5-year survival rate was similar in CEC patients among the different groups treated with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or radiochemotherapy(P = 0.244). Conclusions: The CEC patients had similar survival outcomes after curative esophagectomy and radiotherapy, including those with or without total laryngectomy. 5Sensitivity Detection Technique and Resistance Risk Assessment of Magnaporthe grisea to Tricyclazole显示文摘In vitro detection method for the sensitivity of Magnaporthe grisea to tricyclazole was studied, and the potential resistance risk of blast disease to tricyclazole was assessed. Both EC50 of hyphal melanization (EC50-H) and minimum inhibitive concentration of melanization in appressorial (MIC-A) by inhibitortricyclazole showed positive correlation to the EC50 of tricyclazole against blast disease tested in vivo, with relative co-efficiency (R2) of 0.8995 and 0.8244, respectively. However, stability and reproducibility of EC50-H were better than those of MIC-A, suggesting that it could be used to detect the sensitivity of M. grisea to tricyclazole in vitro. Tricyclazole sensitivity of the progenies derived from single spores of the most sensitive isolate DY2 and the least sensitive isolate GY6 detected in sensitivity monitoring in 2000 was not stable, with mean EC50 values of 4.4968 μg/mL and 5.4010 μg/mL, respectively, indicating that the difference in EC50 between DY2 and GY6 was not caused probably by resistance variation. EC50 of GY6 did not increase significantly when continuously selected for twenty generations under the selection pressure of tricyclazole in vivo. 11In situ fabrication of Na3V2(PO4)3 quantum dots in hard carbon nanosheets by using lignocelluloses for sodium ion batteries显示文摘The rational assembly of quantum dots on two-dimensional(2 D) carbonaceous materials is very promising to produce materials, but remains a challenge. Here, we develop an assembly strategy of growing Na3 V2(PO4)3 quantum dots with superlattice structure(NVP-QDs-SL) for obtaining precise control of the size, distribution and crystallinity. The multifunctional lignocelluloses(LCs) used as a hard carbon source induce heterogeneous nucleation and confined growth of NVP-QDs-SL, leading to the uniform distribution of NVP-QDs-SL in H/S-doped hard carbon ultra-thin nanosheets(HCS). Detailed electrochemical analysis results from sodium-ion batteries of NVP-QDs-SL show that NVP-QDs-SL could trap the electrons inside HCS, significantly enhancing Na ion storage and transfer kinetics. Compared to the common Na3 V2(PO4)3 nanoparticle cathode, the NVP-QDs-SL/HCS cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity of 149.2 m A h g^-1 at a 0.1 C rate, which is far beyond the theoretical capacity of Na3 V2(PO4)3(117.6 m A h g^-1).At the ultrahigh current rate of 100 C, this cathode still remains a high discharge capacity of 40 m A h g-1.Even after cycling at 20 C over 3000 cycles, an ultrahigh coulombic efficiency close to 100% is still obtained,highlighting its excellent long cycling life, remarkable rate performance and energy density.Qihao Zhang Xudong Zhang Wen He Guogang Xu Manman Ren Jinhua Liu Xuena Yang Feng Wang 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,10:1
12Verifying Diagnosability of Discrete Event System with Logical Formula显示文摘Diagnosability is an important property in the field of fault diagnosis. In this paper, a novel approach based on logical formula is proposed to verify diagnosability of Discrete event systems(DESs). CNFFSM is defined to represent a new model for DES. Each transition in DES can be described as a clause. According to CNF-FSM, we construct a CNF-diagnoser. Based on the resolution principle and CNF-diagnoser, an algorithm is presented to test whether the failure events can be detected or not in a finite number of observable events.Our algorithm can be applied in both off-line diagnosis and on-line diagnosis. 13Distinct functions of Trio GEF domains in axon outgrowth of cerebellar granule neurons显示文摘As a critical guanine nucleotide exchange factor(GEF) regulating neurite outgrowth, Trio coordinates multiple processes of cytoskeletal dynamics through activating Rac1, Cdc42 and RhoA small GTPases by two GEF domains, but the in vivo roles of these GEF domains and corresponding downstream effectors have not been determined yet. We established multiple lines of knockout mice and assessed the respective roles of Trio GEF domains and Rac1 in axon outgrowth. Knockout of total Trio in cerebellar granule neurons(CGNs) led to an impaired F-actin rearrangement of growth cone and hence a retarded neurite outgrowth. Such a retardation was reproduced by inhibition of GEF1 domain or knockdown of Cdc42 and restored apparently by introduction of active Cdc42. As Rac1 deficiency did not affect the neurite outgrowth of CGNs, we suggested that Trio GEF1-mediated Cdc42 activation was required for neurite outgrowth. We established a GEF2-knockout line with deletion of all Trio isoforms except a cerebella-specific Trio8, a short isoform of Trio without GEF2 domain, and used this line as a GEF2-deficient animal model. The GEF2-deficient CGNs had a normal neurite outgrowth but abolished Netrin-1-promoted growth, without affecting Netrin-1 induced Rac1 activation. We thus suggested that Trio GEF1-mediated Cdc42 activation rather than Rac1 activation drives the F-actin dynamics necessary for neurite outgrowth, while GEF2 functions in Netrin-1-promoted neurite elongation. 16Model-based diagnosis of incomplete discrete-event system with rough set theory显示文摘Fault diagnosis of discrete-event system(DES) is important in the preventing of harmful events in the system. In an ideal situation, the system to be diagnosed is assumed to be complete; however, this assumption is rather restrictive. In this paper, a novel approach, which uses rough set theory as a knowledge extraction tool to deal with diagnosis problems of an incomplete model, is investigated. DESs are presented as information tables and decision tables. Based on the incomplete model and observations, an algorithm called Optimizing Incomplete Model is proposed in this paper in order to obtain the repaired model. Furthermore, a necessary and sufficient condition for a system to be diagnosable is given.
