1Developing individual tree-based models for estimating aboveground biomass of five key coniferous species in China显示文摘Estimating individual tree biomass is critical to forest carbon accounting and ecosystem service modeling.In this study,we developed one-(tree diameter only) and two-variable(tree diameter and height) biomass equations,biomass conversion factor(BCF) models,and an integrated simultaneous equation system(ISES) to estimate the aboveground biomass for five conifer species in China,i.e.,Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook.,Pinus massoniana Lamb.,P.yunnanensis Faranch,P.tabulaeformis Carr.and P.elliottii Engelm.,based on the field measurement data of aboveground biomass and stem volumes from 1055 destructive sample trees across the country.We found that all three methods,including the one-and two-variable equations,could adequately estimate aboveground biomass with a mean prediction error less than 5%,except for Pinus yunnanensis which yielded an error of about 6%.The BCF method was slightly poorer than the biomass equation and the ISES methods.The average coefficients of determination(R^2) were 0.944,0.938 and 0.943 and the mean prediction errors were 4.26,4.49 and 4.29% for the biomass equation method,the BCF method and the ISES method,respectively.The ISES method was the best approach for estimating aboveground biomass,which not only had high accuracy but also could estimate stocking volumes simultaneously that was compatible with aboveground biomass.In addition,we found that it is possible to develop a species-invariant one-variable allometric model for estimating aboveground biomass of all the five coniferous species.The model had an exponent parameter of 7/3 and the intercept parameter a_0 could be estimated indirectly from stem basic density(a_0= 0.294 q).Weisheng Zeng Liyong Fu Ming Xu Xuejun Wang Zhenxiong Chen Shunbin Yao 2018Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,5:5
2Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 5Optical turbulence profiling with single star SCIDAR technique显示文摘In order to characterize optical turbulence,we have developed a single star SCIDAR(SSS)for measurement of the distribution of C2n with height.The SSS consists of a 40 cm telescope and a CCD camera for fast sampling of stellar scintillation pattern.Spatiotemporal auto and cross-correlation functions of the single star images are computed,providing vertical profiles of optical turbulence intensity C2n(h)and wind speed V(h).Using this new SSS experiment,profiles of turbulence can be obtained from the ground to the top of atmosphere,allowing the determination of seeing,isoplanatic angle and coherence time.Detailed characteristics of atmospheric optical turbulence are important for active and passive imaging,astronomical site testing,adaptive optics,laser communications,target tracking and designation,and laser beam control.We plan to improve the robotization of the SSS to be able to use it routinely even under harsh weather and altitude conditions that we expect to encounter on the high Tibetan plateau or at Dome A in Antarctica.SSS will also be applied for the site testing campaign of the future Chinese extremely large telescope.LIU LiYong YAO YongQiang VERNIN Jean WANG HongShuai CHADID Merieme WANG YiPing GIORDANO Christophe YIN Jia QIAN Xuan 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,36:1
6Exploring the growth mechanism of CuSbSe_(2)thin film prepared by electrodeposition显示文摘Copper antimony selenium(CuSbSe_(2))has advantages of adjustable band gaps from 1.09 eV to 1.2 eV,high light absorption coefficient(>105 cm-1),and low grain generation temperature(300—400℃),which is suitable for the preparation of solar cells.However,the stable range of CuSbSe_(2)(CASe)phase is narrow,which is inevitable to form Sb_(2)Se_(3)and Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)second phase during the preparation process.In this work,selenization annealing of Sb/Cu metal layer to prepare CASe thin films with pulse electrodeposition process was studied,and the growth mechanism of CASe film was analyzed.Cu and Sb reacted with Se to form Cu_(2)Se and Sb_(2)Se_(3),respectively.Then Cu_(2)Se and Sb_(2)Se_(3)further reacted to generate CASe.Since the formation temperature of Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)was lower than that of CASe,the preferential formation of Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)led to layer separation.When the annealing temperature was too high,CASe decomposed to form Cu_(3)SbSe_(3)and Sb_(2)Se_(3).Additionally,by increasing the heating rate,the separation of CASe thin films was effectively improved,and the CASe thin films with relatively high crystallinity were obtained at 360℃with heating rate of 30℃/min and selenization time of 20 min.WANG Ruihu BI Jinlian LI Wei YUAN Yujie XING Yupeng YAO Liyong 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,9:0
7Combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer alleviates the kernel position effect in summer maize by promoting post-silking nitrogen uptake and dry matter accumulation显示文摘Adjusting agronomic measures to alleviate the kernel position effect in maize is important for ensuring high yields.In order to clarify whether the combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer(CAOFCF)can alleviate the kernel position effect of summer maize,field experiments were conducted during the 2019 and 2020 growing seasons,and five treatments were assessed:CF,100%chemical fertilizer;OFCF1,15%organic fertilizer+85%chemical fertilizer;OFCF2,30%organic fertilizer+70%chemical fertilizer;OFCF3,45%organic fertilizer+55%chemical fertilizer;and OFCF4,60%organic fertilizer+40%chemical fertilizer.Compared with the CF treatment,the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments significantly alleviated the kernel position effect by increasing the weight ratio of inferior kernels to superior kernels and reducing the weight gap between the superior and inferior kernels.These effects were largely due to the improved filling and starch accumulation of inferior kernels.However,there were no obvious differences in the kernel position effect among plants treated with CF,OFCF3,or OFCF4 in most cases.Leaf area indexes,post-silking photosynthetic rates,and net assimilation rates were higher in plants treated with OFCF1 or OFCF2 than in those treated with CF,reflecting an enhanced photosynthetic capacity and improved postsilking dry matter accumulation(DMA)in the plants treated with OFCF1 or OFCF2.Compared with the CF treatment,the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments increased post-silking N uptake by 66.3 and 75.5%,respectively,which was the major factor driving post-silking photosynthetic capacity and DMA.Moreover,the increases in root DMA and zeatin riboside content observed following the OFCF1 and OFCF2 treatments resulted in reduced root senescence,which is associated with an increased post-silking N uptake.Analyses showed that post-silking N uptake,DMA,and grain yield in summer maize were negatively correlated with the kernel position effect.In conclusion,the combined application of 15-30%organic fertilizer and 70-85%chemical fertilizer alleviated the kernel position effect in summer maize by improving post-silking N uptake and DMA.These results provide new insights into how CAOFCF can be used to improve maize productivity.Lichao Zhai Lihua Zhang Yongzeng Cui Lifang Zhai Mengjing Zheng Yanrong Yao Jingting Zhang Wanbin Hou Liyong Wu Xiuling Jia 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
8Biological features of intrahepatic CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells in the naturally tolerance of rat liver transplantation显示文摘The biological features of intrahepatic CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T regulatory cells in the naturally tolerance of rat liver transplantation were explored.Orthotopic liver transplan-tation was performed in two allogeneic rat strain combina-tions,one with fatal immunosuppression despite a complete major histocompatibility complex mismatch.The subjects were divided into three groups according to different donors and recipients[Tolerance group:LEW-to-DA;Rejection group:DA-to-LEW;Syngegnic group(control group):DA-to-DA].The proportion of intrahepatic CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells from three groups was determined by flow cytometry(FCM)in different time.The intrahepaitc CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells were isolated by magnetic activated cell sorting(MACS)method and identified by FCM.The Foxp3 mRNA was detected by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).And their suppression on the proliferation of CD4^(+)CD25^(-)T effector cells was analyzed by cell proliferation assay in vitro.Beginning immediately after transplantation,the proportion of Treg cells increased over time in both allogeneic groups but was significantly greater in the Rejection group.The pro-portion of Treg cells declined after day 5,and such reduction was more dramatic in the Rejection group than in the Tole-rance group.Animals in the Tolerance group showed a second increase in the proportion after day 14.Intrahepatic CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells isolated from spontaneous tolerance models inhibited the proliferation of mixed lymphocyte reaction.The purity of CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Tcells sorted by MACS was 86%–93%.The CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells could specifically express the Foxp3 gene compared with CD4^(+)CD25^(-)T cells.In vitro,the spleen cells from LEW rats can irritate the proliferation of CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells more obviously than the syngegnic spleen cells.CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Tr cells could suppress the proliferation of CD4^(+)CD25^(-)T cells,but the inhibition was reversed by exo-genous IL-2(200 U/mL).The CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T regulatory cells specifically express the Foxp3 gene,which may play animpor-tant role in the induction of liver transplantation tolerance by suppressing the reaction of effective T cells.LU Ling ZHANG Feng PU Liyong YAO Aihua YU Yue SUN Beicheng LI Guoqiang WANG Xuehao 2007Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,4:0
