| 2 | Adaptive event-triggered control for a class of nonlinear systems with periodic disturbances显示文摘This paper investigates the adaptive event-triggered control problem for a class of nonlinear systems subject to periodic disturbances. To reduce the communication burden, a reliable relative threshold strategy is proposed. Fourier series expansion and radial basis function neural network are combined into a function approximator to model suitable time-varying disturbed function of known periods in strict-feedback systems. By combining the Lyapunov stability theory and the backstepping technique, the proposed adaptive control approach ensures that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded, and the tracking error can be regulated to a compact set around zero in finite time. | 5 | Sodium citrate and biochar synergistic improvement of nanoscale zero-valent iron composite for the removal of chromium(Ⅵ)in aqueous solutions显示文摘Sodium citrate(SC)is a widely-used food and industrial additive with the properties of com-plexation and microbial degradation.In the present study,nano-zero-valent iron reaction system(SC-nZVI@BC)was successfully established by modifying nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI)with SC and biochar(BC),and was employed to remove Cr(Ⅵ)from aqueous solu-tions.The nZVI,SC-nZVI and SC-nZVI@BC were characterized and compared using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),thermogravimetric analy-ses(TGA),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results showed that nZVI was successfully loaded on the biochar,and both the agglomeration and surface pas-sivation problems of nanoparticles were well resolved.The dosage of SC,C∶Fe,initial pH and Cr(Ⅵ)concentration demonstrated direct effects on the removal efficiency.The maximum Cr(Ⅵ)removal rate and the removal capacity within 60 min were 99.7%and 199.46 mg/g,respectively(C∶Fe was 1∶1,SC dosage was 1.12 mol.%,temperature was 25℃,pH=7,and the original concentration of Cr(Ⅵ)was 20 mg/L).The reaction confirmed to follow the pseudo-second-order reaction kinetics,and the order of the reaction rate constant k was as follows:SC-nZVI@BC>nZVI@BC>SC-nZVI>nZVI.In addition,the mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ)removal by SC-nZVI@BC mainly involved adsorption,reduction and co-precipitation,and the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)to Cr(Ⅲ)by nano Fe0 played a vital role.Findings from the present study demon-strated that the SC-nZVI@BC exhibited excellent removal efficiency toward Cr(Ⅵ)with an improved synergistic characteristic by SC and BC. | Hongyi Zhou Mengyao Ye Yongkang Zhao Shams Ali Baig Ning Huang Mengyan Ma | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5: | 3 |

| 12 | Historical desertification of the Mu Us Sandy Land: A perspective from the Beidachi section显示文摘Historical desertification of the Mu Us Sandy Land is linked to both environmental changes and anthropogenic activities. This paper reports on an analysis of grain size parameters as indicative of such changes in the southwestern area of the Mu Us Sandy Land. Combined with analysis of chronologies and historical records, our results indicate that Beidachi Lake and a nearby seasonal river have retreated continuously in history and that sand dunes appeared at approximately the end of the Ming dynasty. | 18 | Intrinsic magnetic topological materials显示文摘Topological states of matter possess bulk electronic structures categorized by topological invariants and edge/surface states due to the bulk-boundary correspondence. Topological materials hold great potential in the development of dissipationless spintronics, information storage and quantum computation, particularly if combined with magnetic order intrinsically or extrinsically. Here, we review the recent progress in the exploration of intrinsic magnetic topological materials, including but not limited to magnetic topological insulators, magnetic topological metals, and magnetic Weyl semimetals. We pay special attention to their characteristic band features such as the gap of topological surface state, gapped Dirac cone induced by magnetization (either bulk or surface), Weyl nodal point/line and Fermi arc, as well as the exotic transport responses resulting from such band features. | 19 | Near-surface structure from ambient-noise tomography and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault显示文摘Active faults pose a great threat to urban security.As the largest NW-trend active fault in Beijing area,the Nankou-Sunhe fault plays an important role in earthquake disaster and city construction.In this study,we collect continuous ambient noise data recorded by 43 temporary short-period seismograph between September 21th to October 12th 2019 to investigate the near-surface structure beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault by using ambient noise tomography(ANT)and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)method.From ambient noise processing,fundamental-mode Rayleigh wave signals are clearly observed in the frequency band of 0.4-2.5 Hz.Then direct surface-wave inversion algorithm is applied to calculate the 3D shear-wave velocity model.Our results show that there is a sharp velocity contrast across the Nankou-Sunhe fault,with low velocities down to about 2 km on the hanging wall and high velocity on the footwall of the fault.According to the geological investigation,the low velocities are related to thicker sediments and Jurassic volcanic rock below which are the cap rock of the hydrothermal system.From the HVSR analysis,the HVSR curves of the sites near the fault shows double-peak,one less than 1 Hz and the other centered 7 Hz.After converting frequency to depth by the empirical equation,the results show that the thickness of sediments is thinned from southwest to northeast,which generally agrees well to field survey.Our results provide high-resolution near-surface structure for future study on disaster risk reduction and urban planning. | Yuting Zhang Hongyi Li Yanzhen Li Zhijie Wei Zeyu Ma Huiying Ge Tongli Wang Yafen Huang Min Liu | 2020 | Earthquake Science2020,33,5: | 0 |
