| 1 | On-chip chalcogenide microresonators with low-threshold parametric oscillation显示文摘Chalcogenide glass (ChG) is an attractive material for highly efficient nonlinear photonics,which can cover an ultrabroadband wavelength window from the near-visible to the footprint infrared region. However,it remains a challenge to implement highly-efficient and low-threshold optical parametric processes in chip-scale ChG devices due to thermal and light-induced instabilities as well as a high-loss factor in ChG films. Here,we develop a systematic fabrication process for high-performance photonic-chip-integrated ChG devices,by which planarintegrated ChG microresonators with an intrinsic quality (Q) factor above 1 million are demonstrated. In particular,an in situ light-induced annealing method is introduced to overcome the longstanding instability underlying ChG film. In high-Q ChG microresonators,optical parametric oscillations with threshold power as low as 5.4 mW are demonstrated for the first time,to our best knowledge. | 4 | Investigation of Different Coke Samples Adhering to Cyclone Walls of a Commercial RFCC Reactor显示文摘The microstructure and properties of the coke samples collected from 4 different wall regions of the cyclone in the reactor of a residue fluid catalytic cracking unit(RFCCU) were analyzed by using the scanning-electron microscope(SEM), and the possible coke formation processes were investigated as well. The results showed that some of the heavy nonvolatile oil droplets entrained in the flowing oil and gas mixture could possibly deposit or collide on the walls by gravity settling or turbulence diffusion, and then were gradually carbonized into solid coke by condensing and polymerization along with dehydrogenation. Meanwhile some of fine catalyst particles also built up and integrated into the solid coke. The coke can be classified into two types, namely, the hard coke and the soft coke, according to its property, composition and microstructure. The soft coke is formed in the oil and gas mixture's stagnant region where the oil droplets and catalyst particles are freely settled on the wall. The soft coke appears to be loose and contains lots of large catalyst particles. However, the hard coke is formed in the oil and gas mixture's flowing region where the oil droplets and catalyst particles diffuse towards the wall. This kind of coke is nonporous and very hard, which contains a few fine catalyst particles. | 6 | Effect of a Double Helical Spring Decompression Structure Backpack on the Lumbar Spine Biomechanics of School-Age Children:A Finite Element Study显示文摘Background:A children’s backpack is one of the important school supplies for school-age children.Long-term excessive weight can cause spinal deformity that cannot be reversed.This study compared a double helical spring decompression structure backpack(DHSB)with a traditional backpack(TB)to explore the optimization of decompression devices on upper body pressure.The finite element(FE)method was then used to explore the simulation of lumbar stress with different backpacks,in order to prove that DHSB can reduce the influence of backpack weight on lumbar vertebrae,avoid the occurrence of muscle discomfort and spinal deformity in children;Methods:18 male children subjects(age:12.5±0.6 years;height:145.5±1.9 cm;bodyweight:40.8±3.1 kg)ran with DHSB and TB at a speed of 3.3±0.2 m/s.Flexible pressure sensors were used to measure the pressure on the shoulder,back,and waist during running.The pressure data was then inputted into the FE model to simulate the effect of carrying different backpacks on the stress of the lumbar intervertebral disc(IVD);Result:There was a significant difference in shoulder and waist peak pressure between the DHSB and TB during the running posture.At a speed of 3.3±0.2 m/s,the peak pressure of the shoulder and waist decreased.After finite element analysis,it was found that carrying DHSB on the back could effectively reduce the intervertebral disc pressure between L4-5 and L5-S1 by 27.9%and 34.1%,respectively;Conclusion:DHSB can effectively reduce the pressure on the shoulder and waist when children are running and can reduce the influence of backpacks on children’s posture to a certain extent.By finite element analysis,it is found that carrying DHSB can effectively reduce the stress of the lumbar intervertebral disc,and the damage to lumbar vertebrae is lower than with a TB. | Zhiyi Zhengand Fengping Li Dong Sun Qiaolin Zhang Hairong Chen István Bíró Zhiyi Zheng Yaodong Gu | 2023 | Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2023,20,1: | 0 |
| 7 | Highly-sensitive electrochemiluminescence biosensor for detection of inosine monophosphate in meat based on graphdiyne/AuNPs/luminol nanocomposites显示文摘Inosine monophosphate(IMP),as a critical umami substance,is one of the most important indicators for evaluating the quality of meat products.Here,a sensitive electrochemiluminescence(ECL)biosensor based on graphdiyne(GDY)/AuNPs/luminol nanocomposites was constructed to detect IMP.The GDY/AuNPs/luminol nanocomposites were synthesized by using simple one-pot method.GDY utilized its 2D framework to disperse and fix gold nanoparticles,which inhibited the agglomeration of gold nanoparticles and greatly improved its stability and catalytic properties.Importantly,GDY/AuNPs/luminol nanocomposites showed excellent catalytic ability and superior ECL activity towards luminol-H_(2)O_(2) systems due to the synergistic effect of GDY and AuNPs.Under optimal conditions,the prepared biosensor exhibited a wide linear range from 0.01 g/L to 20 g/L,a satisfactory limit detection of 0.0013 g/L,as well as an excellent specificity.Moreover,we carried out the precise analysis of IMP in actual meat samples with acceptable results compared to the liquid chromatography.We believe that this work could offer an efficient ECL platform for accurate and reliable report of IMP levels,which is significant for maintaining food quality and safety. | Jing Liu Yizhong Shen Guangxian Wang Yaodong Xiang Yemin Guo Xia Sun Yuan Liu | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,4: | 0 |

| 9 | The Application of Similarity Theory in Designing Large Deflection Buckling Spring-Piece显示文摘Large Deflection Buckling Spring-Piece (LDBSP) refers to the deformation of an end-fixed flat spring-piece under normal loadings. Plastic deformation usually appears in LDBSP.The static characteristic curve is very particular, because within its linear deflection region, the spring constant can be designed to be any value from minus to plus. With its obvious advantages of large liner deflection range, low spring constant, etc., the LDBSP has now been extensively applied to the exciting device, low-frequency shock absorbers and so on. The static characteristic curve of LDBSP belongs to the nonlinear problem of an arch with varying section. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain it theoretically. The formulae for designing LDBSP have not been set up yet. In this study,the authors apply similarity theory to analyze the liner deflection range A and the spring constant K, and derive the relationship of similarity criterion, finally obtain a set of formulae for designing LDBSP by model test and the least square method, which can be applied in engineering design.Through the research, it is proved that it is unnecessary to keep geometrical similarity of spring-piece shape. This fact extends the application scope of the formulae. | 10 | The Effect of Specialized Digital Training on Double Poling Technique for Para Seated Cross-Country Skiing Athletes显示文摘Purpose:In order to satisfy the requirements of Chinese Para seated cross-country skiers special training for Double poling scientifically,and the individualized strength training of Paralympic athletes,this study aims to explore the effect of the full-dimensional servo-driven intelligent training system on para cross-country skiers’strength training.Methods:12 Para seated cross-country skiing athletes were included(6 males and 6 females:LW10.5-LW12),4 weeks of training of the Double poling based on the centripetal isotonic mode of the fulldimensional servo-driven intelligent training system,the special strength quality indicators include the speed and power of the Double poling in the centripetal phase.The SPM1d paired-sample t-test was used for statistical analysis of each index before and after training.Results:After 4 weeks of special movement training through the full-dimensional servo-driven intelligent training system,the speed and power of the Double poling of 12 seated cross-country skiers were significantly improved compared to before training.In the Double poling period,the speed index of female athletes increased significantly in the 92%-100% stage,and the male athletes in the 20%-23% and 72%-73% stages.The power index of female athletes increased significantly in the 17%-18%,21%~30% and 70%~82% stages,and the male athletes in the 49%-58% and 91%-100% stages.Conclusion:The full-dimensional servo-driven intelligent training system can significantly improve the special strength quality index of Para seated cross-country skiers’Double poling techniques and enhance the special ability on snow.In addition,the system can meet the personalized and specialized training needs of disabled athletes to a great extent,monitor and feedback training data in real-time,and further reduce the risk of sports injuries. | Yong Wang Dong Sun Anand Thirupathi Julien S.Baker Yaodong Gu | 2022 | Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2022,19,4: | 0 |
| 11 | Lower Limb Muscle Forces in Table Tennis Footwork during Topspin Forehand Stroke Based on the OpenSim Musculoskeletal Model:A Pilot Study显示文摘Introduction:Footwork is one of the training contents that table tennis players and coaches focus on.This study aimed to gain a thorough understanding of the muscle activity of the table tennis footwork and creating a musculoskeletal model to investigate the muscle forces,joint kinematic,and joint kinetic characteristics of the footwork during topspin forehand stroke.Methods:Six male table tennis athletes(height:171.98±4.97 cm;weight:68.77±7.86 kg;experience:10.67±1.86 years;age:22.50±1.64 years)performed chasse step and one-step footwork to return the ball from the coach by topspin forehand stroke.The kinematics,kinetics,and muscle activity of the lower limb were recorded by the motion capture,force platform,and Electromyography(EMG)system.Statistical parametric mapping(SPM)analysis was used to investigate any difference between the chasse step and one-step footwork during the stroke.Results and Conclusion:The muscle force of the biceps femoris long head(p<0.001),lateral gastrocnemius(p<0.001),vastus lateralis(p<0.001),vastus medial(p<0.001),rectus femoris(p<0.001),and tibia anterior(p<0.001)of the chasse step were significantly greater than the one-step footwork during the early stroke phase(stance).At the end of the stroke phase(push-off),the muscle force of the biceps femoris long head(p<0.001),medial gastrocnemius(p<0.001),lateral gastrocnemius(p<0.001),rectus femoris(p<0.001),and tibias anterior(p<0.001)in the chasse step footwork was significantly greater than the one-step footwork.The muscle force of the ankle plantar flexor and valgus muscle groups in the one-step was significantly greater than in the chasse step.Besides,the moment and angle of hip flexion(p=0.001)and axial rotation(p=0.009)were significantly greater for the chasse step than the one-step footwork,as well as the ankle plantarflexion angle(p<0.001)and moment(p<0.001)of the one-step footwork were significantly higher than the chasse step footwork.The results of this study can be applied to movement control and injury prevention in table tennis footwork. | Yuqi He Shirui Shao Gusztáv Fekete Xiaoyi Yang Xuanzhen Cen Yang Song Dong Sun Yaodong Gu | 2022 | Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2022,19,4: | 0 |
| 12 | Can PAPE-Induced Increases in Jump Height Be Explained by Jumping Kinematics?显示文摘The aim of this study was to investigate whether kinematic data during a countermovement jump(CMJ)could explain the post-activation performance enhancement(PAPE)effects following acute resistance exercise.Twenty-four male participants with resistance training and jumping experience were recruited and randomly assigned to either the experimental group(PAPE-stimulus)(n=12)or the control group(n=12).In the experimental group,participants performed 5 reps of squats at 80%1RM to induce PAPE,while the control group received no inter-vention.Both groups performed three CMJ tests before(PRE)and at immediate(POST0),4(POST4),8(POST8),and 12(POST12)min after the intervention,with kinematic data recorded during the CMJ.Kinematic parameters analyzed in this study included jump height,hip-knee-ankleflexion angles at the lowest position of the counter-movement,eccentric and concentric time durations,and the temporal changes of hip-knee-ankleflexion angles during the entire jumping phase.The presence of PAPE was determined by the change in jump height.The results showed that in the experimental group,jump height significantly increased at POST4(p<0.001)and POST8(p<0.001)and significantly decreased at POST0(p=0.008),with no significant change at POST12.The control group showed no significant changes at any measured time point.Kinematic parameters showed that there was no significant difference in jointflexion angle of the lower body during the CMJ between pre-and post-intervention,regardless of PAPE or fatigue.However,eccentric time significantly decreased at 4 and 8 min(p=0.013 and p=0.001,respectively)after the intervention.Thesefindings suggest that PAPE-induced increases in jump height after acute resistance exercise can be attributed to the decrease in eccentric phase duration,but not jointflexion angle.Additionally,the fatigue-induced decrease in jump height cannot be reflected by jumping kinematics.Based on thesefindings,coaches may use complex training to utilize the PAPE effects to increase jump height while reducing the eccentric time during vertical jumps.This method can enhance an athlete’s eccentric ability to gen-erate force in a short amount of time which is crucial for performance enhancement. | Xiaojie Jiang Xin Li Yining Xu Dong Sun Julien SBaker Yaodong Gu | 2023 | Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2023,20,2: | 0 |
