| 1 | Trends of incidence rate and age at diagnosis for cervical cancer in China,from 2000 to 2014显示文摘Objective: To analyze the trends of incidence rate and age at diagnosis for cervical cancer incidence in China using population-based cancer registration data from 2000 to 2014.Methods: Data were from National Central Cancer Registry of China.Crude incidence rates(CIRs),age-specific incidence rate,age-standardized incidence rates(ASIRs),age percentage distribution,standardized age percentage distribution,mean age at diagnosis and standardized mean age at diagnosis for cervical cancer in all areas of China,urban China and rural China were calculated separately.The world Segi's population was applied to remove the age structure influence.Joinpoint regression was performed to obtain average annual percent change(AAPC) and ageperiod-cohort analysis was used to examine the incidence trends.Results: CIRs and ASIRs for cervical cancer increased in China from 2000 to 2014.The AAPC of ASIRs in China was at 9.2% [95% confidence interval(95% CI): 7.0%–11.5%,P<0.05],and the AAPC in rural areas was relatively high.The age-specific incidence rate in groups aged 0–69 years have significantly increased over time.Groups aged 40–69 years showed the highest incidence risk,and the annual percent changes(APCs) of incidence rate in groups aged 40–59 years in urban China and groups aged 0–49 years in rural China were more than 10%.For each age group,the urban-to-rural incidence rate ratios(IRRs) got close to 1 over time.There were clear birth cohort effects in successive generations born from 1940 to 1970 in China.In rural China,the standardized mean age at diagnosis had significantly declined by 5.18 years.In China,the main peak and secondary peak of standardized age percentages appeared in the groups aged 45–49 and 40–44 years,respectively.In rural China,the main peak of standardized age percentage moved from the group aged 55–59 years to the group aged 45–49 years,and the standardized age percentages of groups aged 25–34 years also increased.In China,the standardized age percentages has significantly increased in groups aged 35–64 and 30–64 years over time,and accounted for about80% and 85% in 2014,respectively.Conclusions: The cervical cancer incidence increased in China and the gap of incidence between urban and rural China was narrowed.The trends of increasing cervical cancer incidence among younger women existed in China,especially in rural China.A more appropriate screening,vaccination and health education strategies should be established. | Xueting Li Rongshou Zheng Xuemei Li Haibin Shah Qi Wu Yan Wang Wanqing Chen | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6: | 64 |

| 3 | The use of fire at Zhoukoudian:evidence from magnetic susceptibility and color measurements显示文摘In order to provide direct evidence for the use of fire by humans at Locality 1,Zhoukoudian,we examine the burnt and unburnt sediments of newly excavated area in Layer 4 by detailed measurements of magnetic susceptibility,color,and diffuse reflectance spectrum.Results show that the magnetic susceptibility and redness of the burnt sediments are remarkably higher than those of other areas on the same level:up to*22 times for magnetic susceptibility and*3 times for redness of those of the adjacent unburnt sediments.Fine-grained(superparamagnetic/stable single-domain)magnetite and hematite grains make dominant contributions to the distinctly high values of magnetic susceptibility and redness in the burnt sediments.Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy results show that the burnt sediments contain more hematite than those of other areas and localities 2 and 3.High-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements demonstrate that the burnt sediments have been heated above 700°C.Those changes in low-frequency magnetic susceptibility and redness are impossibly resulted from natural fires,thus most likely signaling the human activities of controlled use of fire.However,further work is needed to confirm whether or not these heat-affected sediments were produced in situ. | Yan Zhang Zhengtang Guo Chenglong Deng Shuangquan Zhang Haibin Wu Chunxia Zhang Junyi Ge Deai Zhao Qin Li Yang Song Rixiang Zhu | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,10: | 6 |
| 4 | Late Paleozoic to Mesozoic extension in southwestern Fujian Province, South China: Geochemical, geochronological and Hf isotopic constraints from basic-intermediate dykes显示文摘The tectonic evolution of SE China block since late Paleozoic remains debated.Here we present a new set of zircon U-Pb geochronological,Lu-Hf isotopic data and whole-rock geochemistry for two stages of basicintermediate dykes from the southwestern Fujian.The samples were collected from the NE-trending(mainly diabases) and NW-trending(mainly diabasic diorites) dykes and yielded zircon U-Pb ages of 315 and 141 Ma,with ε_(Hf)(t) values of-8.90 to 7.49 and-23.39 to-7.15(corresponding to T_(DM2) values of 850 to 1890 Ma and 737 to 2670 Ma),respectively.Geochemically these rocks are characterized by low TiO_2(0.91-1.73 wt.%)and MgO(3.04-7.96 wt.%),and high Al_2O_3(12.5-16.60 wt.%) and K_2O(0.60-3.63 wt.%).Further they are enriched in LREEs and ULEs(Rb,Ba,Th and K).but depleted in HFSEs(Nb,Ta and Zr).The tectonic discrimination analysis revealed that the dykes were formed in an intraplate extensional environment.However,the NW trending dykes show crust-mantle mixed composition,which indicate an extensional tectonic setting with evidence for crustal contamination.The SE China block experienced two main stages of extensional tectonics from late Carboniferous to early Cretaceous.The tectonic evolution of the SE China block from late Devonian to Cretaceous is also evaluated. | Sen Wang Da Zhang Ganguo Wu Absai Vatuva Yongjun Di Pengcheng Yan Haibin Feng Shuai Ma | 2017 | Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3: | 6 |
| 5 | Overexpression of AHL20 Negatively Regulates Defenses in Arabidopsis显示文摘Plants are equipped to recognize invading pathogenic microbes and activate innate immune responses by sensing pathogen-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs).PAMP-triggered immunity(PTI) is critical for plant resistance to potential pathogens.Although the mechanism by which PTI is activated has been intensively studied,exactly how plants prevent unregulated immune responses is less well understood.Here we provide evidence that AHL20,an AT-hook containing DNA-binding protein,negatively regulates PTI.Overexpression of AHL20 as a stable transgene suppressed PAMP-induced NHO1 and FRK1 expression in Arabidopsis plants.Similarly,transient expression of the closely related family members AHL19,AHL15,and AHL27 in protoplasts also blocked PAMP-induced gene expression.The AHL20 overexpression plants displayed greater susceptibility to virulent Pseudomonas syringae bacteria.These results indicate that AHL proteins play an important role in plant immunity. | Haibin Lu Yan ZOU Na Feng | 2010 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,9: | 5 |
| 6 | The Coupling Relationship between the Uplift of Longmen Shan and the Subsidence of Foreland Basin,Sichuan,China显示文摘Depending on the analysis of the coeval sedimentary geometry and subsidence mechanism in the Longmen Shan foreland basin, three models about the coupling relationship between Longmen Shan uplift and foreland basin subsidence since the Indosinian have been proposed:(1) crustal shortening and its related wide wedge-shaped foreland basin,(2) crustal isostatic rebound and its related tabular foreland basin, and(3) lower crustal flow and its related narrow wedge-shaped foreland basin. | 8 | Preliminary Investigation on the Main Fungal Diseases of Sugarcane in Guangxi Province of China显示文摘[Objective] The purpose was to understand species and occurrence status of major fugal diseases in sugarcane cultivation areas of Guangxi in China, so as to provide scientific references for integrated control against sugarcane diseases. [Method] Species and occurrence degrees of major fugal diseases in sugarcane cultivation areas of Guangxi were investigated through randomized surveys, farmer interviews, literature references and location investigations from 2009 to 2011. Diseased sugarcane samples were collected and their species were identified through pathogen isolated culture and other relevant methods. [Result] Thirteen species of fungal diseases were identified in the survey, including pineapple disease [Thielaviopsis paradoxa (de Seynes) V. Hohnel], smut(Ustilago scitaminea Sydow), top rot disease (Fusarium moniliforme Sheldon), rust (Puccinia melanocephala H.﹠P. Syd.), leaf scald disease (Stagonospora sacchari Lo et Ling), red rot disease (Colletotrichum falcatum Went), zonate spot disease (Phyllosticta saccharicola P. Henn.), leaf red spot disease [Pellicularia sasakii (Shirai) Ito], white rash disease (Elsinoe sacchari L.), eye spot [Helminthosporium sacchari (Breda de Haan) Butler], yellow spot [Mycovellosiella koepkei (kruger) Deighton], brown stripe [Bipolaris stenospilum (Drechs.) | 10 | Selective laser melting of dense and crack-free AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy: Synergizing strength and ductility显示文摘Additively manufactured high-entropy alloys generally suffer from low strength and/or poor ductility.In this work,by leveraging the good castability of eutectic high entropy alloys and high cooling rate of selective laser melting(SLM),we report a nearly fully dense and crack-free as-SLM AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy with an exceptional strength-ductility synergy,showing an ultrahigh yield strength of 982.1±35.2 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of 1322.8±54.9 MPa together with an elongation to fracture of 12.3±0.5%.Such strength-ductility enhancement is owing to the heterogeneous eutectic microstructure consisting of the columnar,equiaxed,and“L-shape”cells with much refined sizes down to nanoscales.The morphology of cells in the transition zone is related to the misorientation between the growth direction of adjacent layers.This heterogeneous eutectic microstructure is the result of the graingrowth behavior dominated by the mechanisms of the epitaxial growth and growth of heterogeneous nuclei in SLM.Our current results provide a new methodology for the future design of ultrahigh-strength and ductile SLM-fabricated metallic materials including HEAs,and other printable alloys for various structural applications. | Lin He Shiwei Wu Anping Dong Haibin Tang Dafan Du Guoliang Zhu Baode Sun Wentao Yan | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,22: | 2 |
| 11 | A Microsatellite Genetic Linkage Map of Black Rockfish(Sebastes schlegeli)显示文摘Ovoviviparous black rockfish(Sebastes schlegeli) is an important marine fish species for aquaculture and fisheries in China. Genetic information of this species is scarce because of the lack of microsatellite markers. In this study, a large number of microsatellite markers of black rockfish were isolated by constructing microsatellite-enriched libraries. Female- and male-specific genetic linkage maps were constructed using 435 microsatellite markers genotyped in a full-sib family of the fish species. The female linkage map contained 140 microsatellite markers, in which 23 linkage groups had a total genetic length of 1334.1 c M and average inter-marker space of 13.3 c M. The male linkage map contained 156 microsatellite markers, in which 25 linkage groups had a total genetic length of 1359.6 c M and average inter-marker distance of 12.4 c M. The genome coverage of the female and male linkage maps was 68.6% and 69.3%, respectively. The female-to-male ratio of the recombination rate was approximately 1.07:1 in adjacent microsatellite markers. This paper presents the first genetic linkage map of microsatellites in black rockfish. | 18 | Chemometric identification of canonical metabolites linking critical process parameters to monoclonal antibody production during bioprocess development显示文摘A deeper understanding of the biological events occurring when bioprocess parameters changed will be of great value in improving the monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) production. Design of experiment (DoE) was applied to investigate the effect of process parameters (pH, temperature shift and dissolve oxygen (DO)) on protein titer. The key metabolites connecting the critical process parameters (CPPs) with monoclonal antibody production were identified by different chemometrics tools. Finally, the biological events of marker metabolites relating with titer improvement were concluded. pH and temperature shift were identified as CPPs that affect the target protein titer. A series of metabolites influenced by the altered CPPs and correlated with protein titer were screened by principal component analysis (PCA) and Pearson' correlation test. The marker metabolites and their pathways linking CPPs to target protein titer in different culture phases were summarized.
