1PM_(2.5) and PM_(10-2.5) chemical composition and source apportionment near a Hong Kong roadway显示文摘Twenty-four-hour PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) samples were collected simultaneously at a highly trafficked roadside site in Hong Kong every sixth day from October 2004 to September 2005.The mass concentrations of PM_(2.5),PM_(10-2.5)(defined as PM_(10)- PM_(2.5)),organic carbon(OC),elemental carbon(EC),water-soluble ions,and up to 25 elements were determined.Investigation of the chemical compositions and potential sources revealed distinct differences between PM_(2.5) and PM_(10-2.5).The annual average mass concentrations were 55.5±25.5 and 25.9±15.7 ug/m^3 for PM_(2.5) and PM_(10-2.5),respectively.EC,OM(OM =OC×1.4),and ammonium sulfate comprised over ~82% of PM_(2.5),accounting for^29%,~27%,and ~25%,respectively,of the PM_(2.5) mass.Low OC/EC ratios(less than 1) for PM_(2.5) suggested that fresh diesel-engine exhaust was a major contributor.Seven sources were resolved for PM_(2.5) by positive matrix factorization(PMF) model,including vehicle emissions(~29%),secondary inorganic aerosols(~27%),waste incinerator/biomass burning(~23%),residual oil combustion(~10%),marine aerosols(~6%),industrial exhaust(~4%),and resuspended road dust(~1%).EC and OM comprised only ~19%of PM_(10-2.5).The average OC/EC ratio of PM_(10-2.5) was 7.8±14.2,suggesting that sources other than vehicular exhaust were important contributors.The sources for PM_(10-2.5) determined by the PMF model included ~20%traffic-generated resuspension(e.g.,tire dust/brake linear/petrol evaporation),~17% locally resuspended road dust,~17% marine aerosols,~12% secondary aerosols/field burning,and ~11%vehicle emissions.Yan Cheng Shuncheng Lee Zhaolin Gu Kinfai Ho Yunwei Zhang Yu Huang Judith C.Chow John G.Watson Junji Cao Renjian Zhang 2015Particuology2015,13,1:14

6Metformin capped Cu_(2)(OH)_(3)Cl nanosheets for chemodynamic wound disinfection显示文摘Recently,the development of chemodynamic therapy(CDT)offers a potential approach for fighting bacteria and treating infectious diseases,in which those CDT nanoagents can catalyze the generation of hydroxyl radicals(·OH)to destroy bacteria.In this work,to improve the efficiency of CDT,we have designed a new kind of metformin(Met)-capped two-dimensional Cu_(2)(OH)_(3)Cl nanosheets(CuOHCl-Met NSs)with good monodispersity,highly positive charge,and good biocompatibility for improving antibacterial effect and accelerating wound healing.With the capped Met,CuOHCl-Met NSs can effectively kill bacteria under a low concentration(6μg·mL^(−1))and a short treatment time(in 15 min),showing great advantages over the counterpart without Met.In vivo results demonstrated that CuOHCl-Met NSs accelerated the tissue regeneration of staphylococcus aureus-infected dermal wounds.This study provides a new pathway for improving efficiency of CDT nanoagent through using old drug.Xueyu Wang Shaobo Wang Jiao Gao Shuncheng Yao Teng Xu Yunchao Zhao Zeyu Zhang Tian Huang Shu Yan Linlin Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0

124-6 Measurement of the Ratio of C3+ and O4+ Ions Produced by ECR Source to Prepare a Laser Cooling Experiment at Storage Rings显示文摘The cooling of heavy ions can provide high-quality beams that are especially important for high-precisionexperimental nuclear and atomic physics. The laser cooling of relativistic C3+ ion beams at the experimental coolerstorage ring (CSRe) is being currently prepared at Institute of Modern Physics (IMP) in Lanzhou. An electroncyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS) will be used to produce C3+ ion beams. Meanwhile, O4+ ions could alsobe produced due to residual gas because of the same mass-to-charge ratio. Therefore, both C3+ and O4+ ion beamswill be injected and circulate in a storage ring during the laser cooling experiment at the same time. 134-11 Nucleus-nucleus Interactions in Transfer Ionization of He2+ -He Collisions显示文摘The transfer ionization of atom by ion impact offers a very suitable test ground of quantum many-body problem[1],because the final state involves three particles (the projectile, the emitted electron and the recoil ion). The experimentaltechniques are available to perform kinematically complete measurements on these processes now.The experiment was performed using a reaction microscope at the Institute of Modern Physics, CAS[2]. 144-14 Observation of Double Scattering of Relatively High-energy Electrons in He2+-argon Collisions显示文摘We have investigated the single capture with simultaneous single ionization in He2+ collisions with argon bymeans of reaction microscopes[1]. Here, we report the dependence of the azimuth angle (φe) of the relatively high-energy electrons (kinetic energy > 20 eV) on the transversal recoil momentum (pr⊥) in single capture with doubleionization process for 30 keV/u He2+ collisions with Ar. 154-15 Electron Emission in the Transfer Ionization Process of Intermediate Multi-charged Ion - He Collisions显示文摘The momentum projecting techniques have been well applied so as to explore the mechanisms of electronemissions as well as the dynamical effects which influenced the momentum distribution of the electrons ionized inion-atom collisions[1??3]. Usually, the emitted electrons will be projected onto the scattering plane, which was definedas the plane containing the initial and the final momentum vectors of the projectile, considering the conservationlaws and rotational symmetry around the beam axis. 164-16 Triple Coincidence (e, γ2e) Experiment for Ionization-excitation of Helium*显示文摘Electron induced ionization-excitation (IE) of helium is a basic four-body Coulomb problem in which all thefour charged particles are actively involved. It is much more challenging to both experiment and theory in contrastto direct ionization with the residual He+ ion in the ground state. The 2s or 2p separated TDCS data, especially atlow incident energy range where the high order effects are expected to play a significant role, would offer the moststringent test to theoretical models. 174-17 Sequential and Nonsequential Dissociation of (CO2)3+ by Heavy Ion Impact显示文摘We performed the CO2 fragmentation experiment in Reaction Microscope, aiming to distinguish the variousdissociation mechanisms of (CO2)3+ions.
