1Leaching ion adsorption rare earth by aluminum sulfate for increasing efficiency and lowering the environmental impact显示文摘The leaching efficiency(LE) of ion adsorption rare earth(IARE) by the sulfate and chloride of ammonium,magnesium and aluminum were comparatively determined using column leaching method. It is found that at equal equivalent concentration of cation, the LE of IARE by aluminum sulfate is the highest, and the zeta potential of clay mineral particles in the tailing is near to zero, which means a lower risk of landslide and pollutant emission. Furthermore, the optimum concentration of aluminum sulfate is determined to be0.02 mol/L, which is much lower than that of ammonium sulfate and magnesium sulfate. To reduce the production cost and environmental impact, we proposed a multi-stage leaching process, which was firstly leaching with ammonium sulfate and then with aluminum sulfate, following by water washing and lime neutralizing. With the ratio of ammonium sulfate to aluminum sulfate varying from 1:0 to 0.5:0.5, the residual ammonium in tailing decreases from 11.2% to 0.6%, however, the LE of RE shows an optimum value at 0.8:0.2. By neutralizing the pH of tailing with lime water to over 6, the ion concentration in water rinsing solution can meet the requirement for water discharge. At the same time, the zeta potential of clay particles is found to be around-5 mV, means a relatively lower risk of landslide. 4THE ROBUST CONTROL SCHEME FOR FREE-FLOATING SPACE MANIPULATOR TO TRACK THE DESIRED TRAJECTORY IN JOINTSPACE显示文摘The control of a free-floating space manipulator system is discussed. With the augmentation approach, the nonlinear parameterization problem of the dynamic equations of the space manipulator system is overcome. Based on the results, the robust control scheme for free-floating space manipulator with uncertain payload parameters to track the desired trajectory in jointspace is proposed, and the global convergence of the tracking is verified by using the Lyapunov method. The proposed control scheme is computationally simple, because we choose to make the controller robust to the uncertain inertial parameters rather than explicitly estimate them online. In particular, it needn't control the position and attitude of the floating base. 5Changes in Electroencephalogram Approximate Entropy Reflect Auditory Processing and Functional Complexity in Frogs显示文摘Brain systems engage in what are generally considered to be among the most complex forms of information processing. In the present study, we investigated the functional complexity of anuran auditory processing using the approximate entropy(Ap En) protocol for electroencephalogram(EEG) recordings from the forebrain and midbrain while male and female music frogs(Babina daunchina) listened to acoustic stimuli whose biological significance varied. The stimuli used were synthesized white noise(reflecting a novel signal), conspecific male advertisement calls with either high or low sexual attractiveness(reflecting sexual selection) and silence(reflecting a baseline). The results showed that 1) Ap En evoked by conspecific calls exceeded Ap En evoked by synthesized white noise in the left mesencephalon indicating this structure plays a critical role in processing acoustic signals with biological significance; 2) Ap En in the mesencephalon was significantly higher than for the telencephalon, consistent with the fact that the anuran midbrain contains a large well-organized auditory nucleus(torus semicircularis) while the forebrain does not; 3) for females Ap En in the mesencephalon was significantly different than that of males, suggesting that males and females process biological stimuli related to mate choice differently.Yansu LIU Yanzhu FAN Fei XUE Xizi YUE Steven E.BRAUTH Yezhong TANG Guangzhan FANG 2016Asian Herpetological Research2016,7,3:4
6A Non-Cooperative Differential Game-Based Security Model in Fog Computing显示文摘Fog computing is a new paradigm providing network services such as computing, storage between the end users and cloud. The distributed and open structure are the characteristics of fog computing, which make it vulnerable and very weak to security threats. In this article, the interaction between vulnerable nodes and malicious nodes in the fog computing is investigated as a non-cooperative differential game. The complex decision making process is reviewed and analyzed. To solve the game, a fictitious play-based algorithm is which the vulnerable node and the malicious nodes reach a feedback Nash equilibrium. We attain optimal strategy of energy consumption with Qo S guarantee for the system, which are conveniently operated and suitable for fog nodes. The system simulation identifies the propagation of malicious nodes. We also determine the effects of various parameters on the optimal strategy. 7Genome-wide profiling of RNA editing sites in sheep显示文摘Background: The widely observed RNA-DNA differences(RDDs) have been found to be due to nucleotide alteration by RNA editing. Canonical RNA editing(i.e., A-to-I and C-to-U editing) mediated by the adenosine deaminases acting on RNA(ADAR) family and apolipoprotein B mRNA editing catalytic polypeptide-like(APOBEC)family during the transcriptional process is considered common and essential for the development of an individual.To date, an increasing number of RNA editing sites have been reported in human, rodents, and some farm animals;however, genome-wide detection of RNA editing events in sheep has not been reported. The aim of this study was to identify RNA editing events in sheep by comparing the RNA-seq and DNA-seq data from three biological replicates of the kidney and spleen tissues.Results: A total of 607 and 994 common edited sites within the three biological replicates were identified in the ovine kidney and spleen, respectively. Many of the RDDs were specific to an individual. The RNA editing-related genes identified in the present study might be evolved for specific biological functions in sheep, such as structural constituent of the cytoskeleton and microtubule-based processes. Furthermore, the edited sites found in the ovine BLCAP and NEIL1 genes are in line with those in previous reports on the porcine and human homologs, suggesting the existence of evolutionarily conserved RNA editing sites and they may play an important role in the structure and function of genes.Conclusions: Our study is the first to investigate RNA editing events in sheep. We screened out 607 and 994 RNA editing sites in three biological replicates of the ovine kidney and spleen and annotated 164 and 247 genes in the kidney and spleen, respectively. The gene function and conservation analysis of these RNA editing-related genes suggest that RNA editing is associated with important gene function in sheep. 12Differential SW16.1 allelic effects and genetic backgrounds contributed to increased seed weight after soybean domestication显示文摘Although seed weight has increased following domestication from wild soybean(Glycine soja) to cultivated soybean(Glycine max), the genetic basis underlying this change is unclear. Using mapping populations derived from chromosome segment substitution lines of wild soybean, we identified SW16.1 as the causative gene underlying a major quantitative trait locus controlling seed weight.SW16.1 encodes a nucleus-localized LIM domaincontaining protein. Importantly, the GsSW16.1 allele from wild soybean accession N24852 had a negative effect on seed weight, whereas the GmSW16.1 allele from cultivar NN1138-2 had a positive effect. Gene expression network analysis,reverse-transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and promoter-luciferase reporter transient expression assays suggested that SW16.1 regulates the transcription of MT4, a positive regulator of seed weight. The natural variations in SW16.1 and other known seed weight genes were analyzed in soybean germplasm. The SW16.1 polymorphism was associated with seed weight in 247 soybean accessions, showing much higher frequency of positive-effect alleles in cultivated soybean than in wild soybean. Interestingly,gene allele matrix analysis of the known seed weight genes revealed that G. max has lost 38.5%of the G. soja alleles and that most of the lost alleles had negative effects on seed weight. 14Homogeneous Synthesis and Characterization of Quaternized Cellulose Derivatives in NaOH-urea Aqueous Solutions显示文摘Quaternized cellulose( QC) derivatives were synthesized by reacting cellulose with 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride( CHPTAC) in an aqueous solution of Na OH-urea. The chemical structures and physical properties of the obtained QC derivatives were characterized using nitrogen content analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy( FT-IR),~1H-nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-NMR),X-ray diffraction( XRD),and thermal gravity analysis( TGA). The FT-IR and ~1H-NMR results confirmed the successful introduction of cationic quaternary ammonium groups into the main chain of cellulose. A series of QC derivatives with the degree of substitution( DS) values ranging from 0. 33 to 0. 80 were derived by adjusting the molar ratio of CHPTAC to anhydroglucose unit( AGU) of cellulose,concentration of cellulose in the Na OH-urea solution,as well as reaction temperature and time. According to the DS values of the QC derivatives,the optimized synthetic conditions were as follows: 25℃ reaction temperature,3% cellulose in Na OH-urea solution,the molar ratio of etherification agent to glycosidic cellulose of 15∶ 1,and 12 h reaction time. 16A Novel Soft Sensor Modeling Approach Based on Least Squares Support Vector Machines显示文摘Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) such as radial basis function neural networks (RBFNNs) have been successfully used in soft sensor modeling. However, the generalization ability of conventional ANNs is not very well. For this reason, we present a novel soft sensor modeling approach based on Support Vector Machines (SVMs). Since standard SVMs have the limitation of speed and size in training large data set, we hereby propose Least Squares Support Vector Machines (LS_SVMs) and apply it to soft sensor modeling. Systematic analysis is performed and the result indicates that the proposed method provides satisfactory performance with excellent approximation and generalization property.
