1Curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on insomnia: a randomized clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on insomnia and explore its mechanism. METHODS: One hundred and twenty patients were randomly divided into an experiment group and a control group. Sixty patients in the experiment group were treated once a day with acupuncture at Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Shenmai (BL 62), and Zhaohai (KI 6) and with moxibustion at Baihui (GV 20) and Sishencong (EX-HN 1). Sixty patients in the control group were acupunctured once a day at Shenmen (HT 7), Neiguan (PC 6), and Sanyinjiao (SP 6).The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used to compare sleep improvement between the two groups. RESULTS: The total effective rate was 87.7% in the experiment group and 76.3% in the control group. The PSQI scores and the total score were lower after treatment than before treatment in bothgroups. However, the reduction in the experiment group was greater than that in the control group in sleeping quality, time to fall asleep, sleeping disorder, and daytime function (P<0.05). 2Magnetic-dielectric synergy and interfacial engineering to design yolk-shell structured CoNi@void@C and CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) nanocomposites with tunable and strong wideband microwave absorption显示文摘In order to effectively utilize the magnetic-dielectric synergy and interfacial engineering,in this paper,yolk–shell structured magnetic multicomponent nanocomposites(MCNCs)including CoNi@void@C and CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) were produced in large scale by in-situ pyrolysis of cubic CoNi Prussian blue analogs(PBAs)followed by the hydrothermal process,respectively.Because of their unique structures,excellent synergistic effect between dielectric and magnetic loss,the as-prepared CoNi@void@C and CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) MCNCs displayed very outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption performances(EMWAPs)including strong absorption capabilities,broad absorption bandwidth and thin matching thicknesses.Furthermore,the as-prepared CoNi@void@C and CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) MCNCs well maintained the cubic configuration of CoNi PBAs even after the thermal treatment and hydrothermal processes.The unique structure and formed carbon layers effectively prevented the corrosion of internal CoNi alloy during the formation of MoS_(2),and CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) MCNCs with different MoS_(2) contents could be synthesized by controlling the hydrothermal temperature.The obtained results revealed that the EM parameters,dielectric and magnetic loss capabilities of CoNi@void@C@MoS_(2) MCNCs could be tuned by controlling hydrothermal temperature and filler loading,which made their outstanding EMWAPs could be achieved in different frequency regions.Taking account of simple process,low density and high chemical stability,our findings provided a new and effective pathway to develop the strong wideband microwave absorbers.Chen Li Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:11
3Clinical applications of MARSALA for preimplantation genetic diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy显示文摘Conventional PCR methods combined with linkage analysis based on short tandem repeats(STRs) or Karyomapping with single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) arrays, have been applied to preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD) for spinal muscular atrophy(SMA), an autosome recessive disorder. However, it has limitations in SMA diagnosis by Karyomapping, and these methods are unable to distinguish wildtype embryos with carriers effectively. Mutated allele revealed by sequencing with aneuploidy and linkage analyses(MARSALA) is a new method allowing embryo selection by a one-step next-generation sequencing(NGS) procedure, which has been applied in PGD for both autosome dominant and X-linked diseases in our group previously. In this study, we carried out PGD based on MARSALA for two carrier families with SMA affected children. As a result, one of the couples has given birth to a healthy baby free of mutations in SMA-causing gene. It is the first time that MARSALA was applied to PGD for SMA, and we can distinguish the embryos with heterozygous deletion(carriers) from the wild-type(normal) ones accurately through this NGS-based method. In addition, direct mutation detection allows us to identify the affected embryos(homozygous deletion), which can be regarded as probands for linkage analysis, in case that the affected family member is absent. 4Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. 5Hierarchical engineering of CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@Polypyrrole multicomponent nanocubes to improve the dielectric loss capability and magnetic-dielectric synergy显示文摘Impedance matching characteristics and loss capabilities including magnetic loss,polarization loss and conduction loss are critical factors to improve microwave absorption performances(MAPs).To elevate these aspects,herein,yolk-shell structured CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@Polypyrrole(PPy)magnetic multicomponent nanocubes(MCNCs)were designed and successfully fabricated in high efficiency through a continuous co-precipitation route,classical Stöber method,thermal treatment and polymerization reaction.The obtained results indicated that the formation of SiO_(2) effectively stabilized the cubic geometrical morphology and yolk-shell structure during the high-temperature pyrolysis process.The introduction of PPy greatly boosted their polarization loss and conductive loss capabilities.Therefore,the as-prepared yolkshell structured CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@PPy MCNCs presented superior MAPs compared to CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2) MCNCs.Furthermore,by regulating the content of PPy,the obtained CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@PPy MCNCs displayed tunable and excellent comprehensive MAPs in terms of strong absorption capabilities,broad frequency bandwidths and thin matching thicknesses,which could be ascribed to the unique structure and excellent magnetic-dielectric synergistic effect.Therefore,our findings provided an alternative pathway to effectively utilize the magnetic-dielectric synergy and loss capabilities for the developing yolk-shell structured magnetic MCNCs as the strong wideband microwave absorbers.Qiqin Liang Lei Wang Xiaosi Qi Qiong Peng Xiu Gong Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,16:7
6Defect and interface engineering in core@shell structure hollow carbon@MoS_(2)nanocomposites for boosted microwave absorption performance显示文摘Defect and interface engineering are efficient approaches to adjust the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials.In order to effectively utilize these strategies for the improvement of microwave absorption properties(MAPs),in this study,we reported the synthesis of hollow carbon shells and hollow carbon@MoS_(2)nanocomposites by the template-etching and templateetching-hydrothermal methods,respectively.The obtained results indicated that the degree of defect for hollow carbon shells and hollow carbon@MoS_(2)could be modulated by the thickness of hollow carbon shell,which effectively fulfilled the optimization of electromagnetic parameters and improvement of MAPs.Furthermore,the microstructure investigations revealed that the precursor of hollow carbon shells was encapsulated by the sheet-like MoS_(2)in high efficiency.And the introduction of MoS_(2)nanosheets acting as the shell effectively improved the interfacial effects and boosted the polarization loss capabilities,which resulted in the improvement of comprehensive MAPs.The elaborately designed hollow carbon@MoS_(2)samples displayed very outstanding MAPs including strong absorption capabilities,broad absorption bandwidth,and thin matching thicknesses.Therefore,this work provided a viable strategy to improve the MAPs of microwave absorbers by taking full advantage of their defect and interface engineering.Junxiong Xiao Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:6
7Microstructure optimization of core@shell structured MSe_(2)/FeSe_(2)@MoSe_(2)(M=Co,Ni)flower-like multicomponent nanocomposites towards high-efficiency microwave absorption显示文摘In this work,we put forward a scheme to exquisitely design and selectively synthesize the core@shell structured MSe_(2)/FeSe_(2)@MoSe_(2)(M=Co,Ni)flower-like multicomponent nanocomposites(MCNCs)through a simple two-step hydrothermal reaction on the surfaces of MFe_(2)O_4 nanospheres with the certain amounts of Mo and Se sources.With increasing the amounts of Mo and Se sources,the obtained core@shell structured MSe_(2)/FeSe_(2)@MoSe_(2)(M=Co,Ni)MCNCs with the enhanced content of MoSe_(2)and improved flower-like geometry morphology could be produced on a large scale.The obtained results revealed that the as-prepared samples displayed improved comprehensive microwave absorption properties(CMAPs)with the increased amounts of Mo and Se sources.The as-prepared CoSe_(2)/FeSe_(2)@MoSe_(2)and NiSe_(2)/FeSe_(2)@MoSe_(2)MCNCs with the well-defined flower-like morphology could simultaneously present the outstanding CMAPs in terms of strong absorption capability,wide absorption bandwidth,and thin matching thicknesses,which mainly originated from the conduction loss and flower-like geometry morphology.Therefore,the findings not only develop the very desirable candidates for high-performance microwave absorption materials but also pave a new way for optimizing the CMAPs through tailoring morphology engineering.Jingjing Zhang Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33:5
8Tunable and improved microwave absorption of flower-like core@shell MFe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)(M=Mn,Ni and Zn)nanocomposites by defect and interface engineering显示文摘Previous results revealed that the defect and/or interface had a great impact on the electromagnetic pa-rameters of materials.In order to understand the main physical mechanisms and effectively utilize these strategies,in this study,M Fe_(2)O_(4)and flower-like core@shell M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)(M=Mn,Ni,and Zn)sam-ples with different categories were elaborately designed and selectively produced in large scale through a simple two-step hydrothermal reaction.We conducted the systematical investigation on their microstruc-tures,electromagnetic parameters and microwave absorption performances(MAPs).The obtained results revealed that the large radius of M^(2+)cation could effectively boost the concentration of oxygen vacancy in the M Fe_(2)O_(4)and M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)samples,which resulted in the improvement of dielectric loss capabil-ities and MAPs.Furthermore,the introduction of MoS_(2)nanosheets greatly improved the interfacial effect and enhanced the polarization loss capabilities,which also boosted the MAPs.By taking full advantage of the defect and interface,the designed M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)samples displayed tunable and excellent com-prehensive MAPs including strong absorption capability,wide absorption bandwidth and thin matching thicknesses.Therefore,the clear understanding of defect and interface engineering made these strategies well elaborately designed and applicable to improving MAPs.Junxiong Xiao Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8:5
9The Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology(TBSRTC):A report of 2,781 cases in a Chinese population显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic utility of The Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytology(TBSRTC)at Peking University Cancer Hospital,the incidence of noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasms with papillary-like nuclear features(NIFTP),and the impact of reclassification on cytopathological outcomes.Methods:We performed a retrospective study of thyroid fine-needle aspiration(FNA)cases between April 2014 and March 2019.The FNA results were classified according to TBSRTC.Post-surgery histological findings were followed up.Results:A total of 2,781 thyroid FNAs were performed.The incidences of the 6 diagnostic categories(DCs I-VI)were 14.8%,17.1%,15.8%,2.3%,11.6%and 38.5%,respectively.A total of 1,122 patients(40.3%)had corresponding histological results.NIFTP accounted for 0.4%of papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC)cases,and there was no significant difference in the risk of malignancy(ROM)for each TBSRTC DC between'NIFTP=carcinoma(Ca)'and'NIFTP≠Ca'.When'NIFTP=Ca',the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),negative predictive value(NPV),and accuracy of TBSRTC were 98.0%,84.0%,99.4%,58.3%,and97.5%,respectively.When'NIFTP≠Ca',the sensitivity,specificity,PPV,NPV and accuracy of the TBSRTC were 98.1%,81.5%,99.3%,61.1%,and 97.5%,respectively.Conclusions:TBSRTC is effective in the preoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules in Peking University Cancer Hospital.The impact of the reclassification of NIFTP on cytopathological outcomes is limited because of its low incidence,and the revised ROMs are not suitable for Asian patients.Yanli Zhu Yuntao Song Guohui Xu Zhihui Fan Wenhao Ren 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2:4

13A simple daily dynamic feeding regimen for reducing phosphorus consumption and excretion in laying hens显示文摘Phosphorus metabolism in laying hens is a highly dynamic process over the course of the 24 h egg-laying cycle.Adjusting the phosphorus feeding regimen according to the daily egg-laying cycle may help to improve phosphorus utilization efficiency.Hy-Line Brown layers(n=120;70 wk old)were offered 4different phosphorus daily regimens:(1)RR,fed regular phosphorus at both 09:00 and 17:00;(2)RL,fed regular phosphorus at 09:00 and low phosphorus at 17:00;(3)LR,fed low phosphorus at 09:00 and regular phosphorus at 17:00;(4)LL,fed low phosphorus at both 09:00 and 17:00.The regular and low phosphorus diets contained 0.32% and 0.14% non-phytate phosphorus,respectively.The feeding trial lasted for 12 wk.As a result,layers on the RL regimen had decreased laying rate(P<0.05;5 to 8,9 to 12,and 1 to 12 wk)when compared to all other regimens.Layers on the LL regimen had decreased eggshell thickness and specific gravity(P<0.05;wk 8)when compared to all other regimens,and had decreased egg shell strength(P<0.05;wk 8)when compared to RL and LR regimens.When compared to the RR regimen(a common practice in the industry),layers on the LR regimen had:(1)identical laying performance and egg quality(P>0.05);(2)decreased phosphorus excretion(P<0.05)during the period of09:00 to 17:00;(3)increased jejunal calbindin D28k protein expression(P<0.05)2 h after feeding in the morning;(4)decreased serum fibroblast growth factor 23 and calcitriol levels(P<0.05),decreased jejunal type Ⅲ sodium-phosphate cotransporter 2 gene and protein expression(P<0.05),and decreased renal type Ⅲ sodium-phosphate cotransporter 1 protein expression(P<0.05),2 h after feeding in the afternoon.In summary,when dietary phosphorus was supplemented in accordance with daily serum phosphorus rhythms(i.e.,the LR regimen),laying performance and egg quality were well supported whilst significantly decreasing phosphorus consumption and excretion.Thus,serum phosphorus rhythms will need to be carefully maintained when developing dietary phosphorus-reduction strategies in laying hens.Xujie Liao Jiakun Yan Jionghao Chen Zhenyu Huang Tianshuai Xiao Changqing Li Chong Pan Xin Yang Yanli Liu Thomas D.Crenshaw Xiaojun Yang Zhouzheng Ren 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,4:2
14Efficient Hierarchical Identity Based Signature Scheme in the Standard Model显示文摘Hierarchical identity based cryptography is a generalization of identity based encryption that mirrors an organizational hierarchy. It allows a root public key generator to distribute the workload by delegating public key generation and identity authentication to lower-level public key generators. Most hierarchical identity based signature schemes are provably secure in the random oracle model or the weak models without random oracles such as gauntlet-ID model. Currently, there is no hierarchical identity based signature scheme that is fully secure in the standard model, with short public parameters and a tight reduction. In this paper, a hierarchical identity based signature scheme based on the q-SDH problem that is fully secure in the standard model is proposed. The signature size is independent of the level of the hierarchy. 18Electrochemically derived nanographene oxide activates endothelial tip cells and promotes angiogenesis by binding endogenous lysophosphatidic acid显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)exhibits good mechanical and physicochemical characteristics and has extensive application prospects in bone tissue engineering.However,its effect on angiogenesis is unclear,and its potential toxic effects are heavily disputed.Herein,we found that nanographene oxide(NGO)synthesized by one-step water electrolytic oxidation is smaller and shows superior biocompatibility.Moreover,NGO significantly enhanced angiogenesis in calvarial bone defect areas in vivo,providing a good microenvironment for bone regeneration.Endothelial tip cell differentiation is an important step in the initiation of angiogenesis.We verified that NGO activates endothelial tip cells by coupling with lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)in serum via strong hydrogen bonding interactions,which has not been reported.In addition,the mechanism by which NGO promotes angiogenesis was systematically studied.NGO-coupled LPA activates LPAR6 and facilitates the formation of migratory tip cells via Hippo/Yes-associated protein(YAP)independent of reactive oxygen species(ROS)stimulation or additional complex modifications.These results provide an effective strategy for the application of electrochemically derived NGO and more insight into NGO-mediated angiogenesis.Wenjing Liu Haiyun Luo Qinwei Wei Jia Liu Junrong Wu Yanli Zhang Lili Chen Wencai Ren Longquan Shao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:1
19Molecular characterization and expression analysis of three homoeologous Ta14S genes encoding 14-3-3 proteins in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘The purpose of this study was to characterize Ta14 S homoeologs and assess their functions in wheat seed development.The genomic and c DNA sequences of three Ta14 S homoeologous genes encoding 14-3-3 proteins were isolated.Sequence analysis revealed that the three homoeologs consisted of five exons and four introns and were very highly conserved in the coding regions and in exon/intron structure,whereas the c DNA sequences were variable in the 5′ and 3′-UTR.The three genes,designated as Ta14S-2A,Ta14S-2B and Ta14S-2D,were located in homoeologous group 2 chromosomes.The polypeptide chains of the three Ta14 S genes were highly similar.These genes were most homologous to Hv14 A from barley.Real-time quantitative PCR indicated that the three Ta14 S genes were differentially expressed in different organs at different developmental stages and all exhibited greater expression in primary roots of 1-day-old germlings than in other tissues.Comparison of the expression patterns of the three homoeologous genes at different times after pollination also revealed that their expression was developmentally regulated.The transcription of Ta14S-2B was clearly higher during seed germination,whereas expressions of Ta14S-2A and Ta14S-2D were up-regulated at the beginning of seed imbibition(0–12 h),but declined thereafter.The results suggested that the three Ta14 S homoeologous genes have regulatory roles in seed development and germination.Xinguo Wang Yanli Wang Ruixia Xiao Xin Chen Jiangping Ren 2016The Crop Journal2016,4,3:1
