| 1 | Substantial transition to clean household energy mix in rural China显示文摘The household energy mix has significant impacts on human health and climate,as it contributes greatly to many health-and climate-relevant air pollutants.Compared to the well-established urban energy statistical system,the rural household energy statistical system is incomplete and is often associated with high biases.Via a nationwide investigation,this study revealed high contributions to energy supply from coal and biomass fuels in the rural household energy sector,while electricity comprised∼20%.Stacking(the use of multiple sources of energy)is significant,and the average number of energy types was 2.8 per household.Compared to 2012,the consumption of biomass and coals in 2017 decreased by 45%and 12%,respectively,while the gas consumption amount increased by 204%.Increased gas and decreased coal consumptions were mainly in cooking,while decreased biomass was in both cooking(41%)and heating(59%).The time-sharing fraction of electricity and gases(E&G)for daily cooking grew,reaching 69%in 2017,but for space heating,traditional solid fuels were still dominant,with the national average shared fraction of E&G being only 20%.The non-uniform spatial distribution and the non-linear increase in the fraction of E&G indicated challenges to achieving universal access to modern cooking energy by 2030,particularly in less-developed rural and mountainous areas.In some non-typical heating zones,the increased share of E&G for heating was significant and largely driven by income growth,but in typical heating zones,the time-sharing fraction was<5%and was not significantly increased,except in areas with policy intervention.The intervention policy not only led to dramatic increases in the clean energy fraction for heating but also accelerated the clean cooking transition.Higher income,higher education,younger age,less energy/stove stacking and smaller family size positively impacted the clean energy transition. | Guofeng Shen Rui Xiong Yanlin Tian Zhihan Luo Bahabaike Jiangtulu Wenjun Meng Wei Du Jing Meng Yuanchen Chen Bing Xue Bin Wang Yonghong Duan Jia Duo Fenggui Fan Lei Huang Tianzhen Ju Fenggui Liu Shunxin Li Xianli Liu Yungui Li Mu Wang Ying Nan Bo Pan Yanfang Pan Lizhi Wang Eddy Zeng Chao Zhan Yilin Chen Huizhong Shen Hefa Cheng Shu Tao | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,7: | 4 |

| 5 | Comparing community birdwatching and professional bird monitoring with implications for avian diversity research: a case study of Suzhou, China显示文摘Background:In the past decades,birdwatching as a hobby developed rapidly and produced ample scientific records that have aided conservation efforts.Therefore,it is increasingly attractive to promote avian research by providing data from birdwatching.Methods:We compared records from 16 years of community birdwatching and a 1-year formalized bird monitoring in Suzhou,China to study the similarities and differences between the two monitoring methods.Results:We showed that within the 325 bird species recorded by the two methods,an annual average of 108 species were documented by community science and 223 bird species were recorded by 1-year formalized monitoring.Measured by the number of bird species recorded per survey trip,the bird monitoring activity of community birdwatchers was significantly lower.Furthermore,the monitoring intensity of community birdwatching measured as the average survey trips per site each survey year was also lower than that of formalized bird monitoring.In addition,community birdwatchers preferred urban landscapes to rural areas.Conclusions:Community birdwatching could record the majority of local birds and complements the professional surveys in avian research.Well designed and coordinated community science can be used to expand the knowledge about avian distribution and population dynamics.These findings are critical for the development of conservation science with regard to community involvement. | Yan Zhou Anping Chen Jenny QOuyang Yanlin Liu Aiyu Zheng Zaixi Yang Yong Zhang Bin Wang Yifei Jia Shengwu Jiao Qing Zeng Changhu Lu | 2020 | Avian Research2020,11,2: | 2 |
| 6 | GMDH-Based Outlier Detection Model in Classification Problems显示文摘In many practical classification problems,datasets would have a portion of outliers,which could greatly affect the performance of the constructed models.In order to address this issue,we apply the group method of data handin neural network in outlier detection.This study builds a GMDH-based outlier detectio model.This model first implements feature selection in the training set L using GMDH neural network.Then a new training set L can be obtained by mapping the selected key feature subset.Next,a linear regression model can be constructed in the set L by ordinary least squares estimation.Further,it eliminates a sample from the set L randomly every time,and then rebuilds a linear regression model.Finally,outlier detection is realized by calculating Cook’s distance for each sample.Four different customer classification datasets are used to conduct experiments.Results show that GOD model can effectively eliminate outliers,and compared with the five existing outlier detection models,it generally performs significantly better.This indicates that eliminating outliers can effectively enhance classification accuracy of the trained classification model. | XIE Ling JIA Yanlin XIAO Jin GU Xin HUANG Jing | 2020 | Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2020,33,5: | 1 |

| 8 | GR-mediated transcriptional regulation of m^(6)A metabolic genes contributes to dietinduced fatty liver in hens显示文摘Background:Glucocorticoid receptor(GR)mediated corticosterone-induced fatty liver syndrome(FLS)in the chicken by transactivation of Fat mass and obesity associated gene(FTO),leading to demethylation of N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)and post-transcriptional activation of lipogenic genes.Nutrition is considered the main cause of FLS in the modern poultry industry.Therefore,this study was aimed to investigate whether GR and m^(6)A modification are involved in high-energy and low protein(HELP)diet-induced FLS in laying hens,and if true,what specific m^(6)A sites of lipogenic genes are modified and how GR mediates m^(6)A-dependent lipogenic gene activation in HELP diet-induced FLS in the chicken.Results:Laying hens fed HELP diet exhibit excess(P<0.05)lipid accumulation and lipogenic genes activation in the liver,which is associated with significantly increased(P<0.05)GR expression that coincided with global m^(6)A demethylation.Concurrently,the m^(6)A demethylase FTO is upregulated(P<0.05),whereas the m^(6)A reader YTHDF2 is downregulated(P<0.05)in the liver of FLS chickens.Further analysis identifies site-specific demethylation(P<0.05)of m^(6)A in the mRNA of lipogenic genes,including FASN,SREBP1 and SCD.Moreover,GR binding to the promoter of FTO gene is highly enriched(P<0.05),while GR binding to the promoter of YTHDF2 gene is diminished(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results implicate a possible role of GR-mediated transcriptional regulation of m^(6)A metabolic genes on m^(6)A-depenent post-transcriptional activation of lipogenic genes and shed new light in the molecular mechanism of FLS etiology in the chicken. | Yue Feng Yanlin Li Wenduo Jiang Yun Hu Yimin Jia Ruqian Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 1 |

| 16 | High-lying excited states in ^10Be from the ^9Be(^9Be,^10Be)^8Be reaction显示文摘A transfer-reaction experiment of ~9Be(~9Be,^(10)Be)~8Be was performed at a beam energy of 45 Me V.Excited states in ^(10)Be up to 18.80 Me V are produced using missing mass and invariant mass methods.Most of the observed high-lying resonant states,reconstructed from theα+~6He and t+~7Li decay channels,agree with the previously reported results.In addition,two new resonances at 15.6 and 18.8 Me V are identified from the present measurement.The 18.55 Me V state is found to decay into both the t + ~7Lig:s: and t + ~7Li?(0.478 MeV) channels, with a relative branching ratio of 0:93 ± 0:33. | 17 | Enhanced monopole transition strength from the cluster decay of ^(13)C显示文摘The inelastic excitations and cluster decay of ^(13)C have been measured using the reaction,9Be(^(13)C, ^(13)C* →~9Be + α)~9Be. We observe strong excitation to the 14.3-MeV(1/2-) resonant state from the cluster-decay channel, leading to an enhanced monopole matrix element of(6.3 ± 0.6) fm^2. This large cluster-related monopole strength is a clear indication of the cluster-structure domination of this state and is consistent with the recent prediction of the orthogonality condition model(OCM). | 18 | Superfluid-superradiant mixed phase of the interacting degenerate Fermi gas in an optical cavity显示文摘We investigate the ground-state properties of an attractively interacting degenerate Fermi gas coupling with a high-finesse optical cavity. We predict a new mixed phase with both the superfluid and superradiant properties for the intermediate fermion-fermion interaction and fermion-photon coupling strengths. Moreover, in this mixed phase a relatively large ratio of the scaled polarization to the dimensionless mean-field gap, which is in contrast to that in the conventional superfluid regime can be obtained.
