2Structural evolution and superconductivity tuned by valence electron concentration in the Nb-Mo-Re-Ru-Rh high-entropy alloys显示文摘The crystal structure and physical properties of Nb_(25)Mo_(5+x)Re_(35)Ru_(25-x)Rh_(10)(0≤x≤10)and Nb_(5)Mo_(35-y)Re_(15+y)Ru_(35)Rh_(10)(0≤y≤15)high-entropy alloys(HEAs)have been studied by X-ray diffraction,electrical resistivity,magnetic susceptibility,and specific heat measurements.The results show that the former HEAs with valence electron concentration(VEC)values of 6.7-6.9 crystallize in a noncentrosymmetric cubicα-Mn structure,while the latter ones with VEC values of 7.1-7.25 adopt a centrosymmetric hexagonal close-packed(hcp)structure.Despite different structures,both series of HEAs are found to be bulk superconductors with a full energy gap,and the superconducting transition temperature Tc tends to decrease with the increase of VEC.Nevertheless,the Tc values of the hcp-type HEAs are higher than those of theα-Mn-type ones,likely due to a stronger electron phonon coupling.Furthermore,we show that VEC and electronegativity difference are two key parameters to control the stability ofα-Mn and hcp-type HEAs.These results not only are helpful for the design of such HEAs,but also represent the first realization of structurally different HEA superconductors without changing the constituent elements.Bin Liu Jifeng Wu Yanwei Cui Qjnqing Zhu Guorui Xiao Siqi Wu Guang-han Cao Zhi Ren 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26:5

4Control system for cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)of high energy photon source(HEPS)显示文摘Background High energy photon source(HEPS)is the fourth-generation light source,which uses a large number of highperformance insertion devices to generate synchrotron radiation.The control system is an important part of the insertion device(ID).Purpose Cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)is one kind of IDs that works in liquid nitrogen temperature and ultra-high vacuum environment,and its control system is more difficult and complex than in-air ID.The design of the control system for CPMU will be introduced in detail.Method The sub-systems include high-precision magnetic gap control,safety protection,measurement and compensation of magnetic gap at cryogenic temperature and cryogenic temperature monitoring.Mature,reliable,stable technical schemes are designed to meet the technical specifications of sub-systems.Results The experiment results show that the magnetic gap motion accuracy can be controlled within 0.2–0.3μm under the step size of 1μm.The safety protection system has been tested in turn,and the predetermined protection can be achieved.The average value of magnetic gap cold contraction is 1.512 mm measured by optical micrometer,and the compensation is realized by software.The average temperature of the main magnet structure measured by the temperature sensors is 81.0 K,and the temperature gradient is 0.7 K/m.The temperature monitoring is reliable and stable.Conclusion The CPMU control system which is based on EPICS has been successfully applied to the CPMU prototype,and the test results have met the design specifications.Shutao Zhao Jianshe Cao Huihua Lu Xiaoyu Li Shuchen Sun Yajun Sun Xiangzhen Zhang Lei Zhang Yuhui Li Zhiqiang Li Wan Chen Lingling Gong Qing Guo Keyun Gong Yongsheng Huang Yanwei Yang Yufeng Yang 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,1:2

6Ceria supported Ru^(0)-Ru^(δ+) clusters as efficient catalyst for arenes hydrogenation显示文摘Selective hydrogenation of aromatic amines,especially chemicals such as aniline and bis(4-aminocyclohexyl)methane for non-yellowing polyurethane,is of particular interests due to the extensive applications.To conquer the existing difficulties,in selective hydrogenation,,the Ru^(0)-Ru^(δ+)/CeO2 catalyst with solid frustrated Lewis pairs was developed for aromatic amines hydrogenation with excellent activity and selectivity under relative milder conditions.The morphology,electronic and chemical properties,especially the Ru^(O)-Ru^(δ+) clusters and reducible ceria were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),sca nning electronic microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron sp ectroscopy(XPS),CO_(2) tempe rature programmed deso rption(CO_(2)-TPD),H_(2) tempe rature programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR),H_(2) diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(H_(2)-DRIFT),Raman,etc.The 2% Ru/CeO_(2) catalyst exhibited good conversion of 95% and selectivity greater than 99% toward cyclohexylamine.The volcano curve describing the activity and Ru state was found.Owning to the 'acidic site isolation' by surrounding alkaline sites,condensation between the neighboring amine molecules could be effectively suppressed.The catalyst also showed good stability and applicability for other aromatic amines and heteroarenes containing different functional groups.Yanwei Cao Huan Zheng Gangli Zhu Haihong Wu Lin He 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,2:2

8Superconductivity and strong spin-orbit coupling in a new noncentrosymmetric compound ThIrP显示文摘A new noncentrosymmetric phosphide ThIrP has been synthesized and characterized. X-ray difraction analysis shows that this compound crystallizes in a LaPtSi-type tetragonal lattice(space group I41md, Z = 4), whose lattice parameters are a = b =4.0676(1) ?, c = 14.3354(2) ?, and V = 237.191(8) ?3. Moreover, ThIrP is discovered to be an intermediately coupled,type-Ⅱ superconductor with possibly multiple gaps below Tc= 5.07 K. The upper critical magnetic field, Sommerfield coefficient, and Ginzburg-Laudau parameter are determined based on physical property measurements, which are Bc2= 0.83 T, γ =7.5 mJ mol-1 K-2, and κGL= 7.5, respectively. The electronic band structure calculations point out nearly equal contributions of Ir and Th atoms on the density of states around the Fermi surface. In addition, the spin-orbit coupling induced band splitting reaches as large as 270 meV along the Γ-Z line. 12Superconductivity in ThMo_2Si_2C with Mo_2C square net显示文摘We report the superconductivity of a new quaternary compound ThMo_(2)Si_(2)C, synthesized with the arc-melting technique. The compound crystallizes in a tetragonal CeCr_(2)Si_(2)C-type structure with cell parameters of a = 4.2296A and c = 5.3571 A. An interlayer Si–Si covalent bonding is suggested by the atomic distance. The electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate a Pauli-paramagnetic metal with dominant electron-electron scattering in the normal-state. Bulk superconductivity at 2.2 K is demonstrated with a dimensionless specific-heat jump of △C/γnT = 0.98. 14Plasma-inducedε-MnO_(2)based aqueous zinc-ion batteries and their dissolution-deposition mechanism显示文摘MnO_(2)has attracted great interest in working as the cathode of zinc ion batteries.However,the development of high-capacity,high-energy-density,and durable manganese-based cathodes with an easy synthesis strategy and proper energy storage mechanism remains an ongoing challenge.Herein,a facile plasmainduced strategy was demonstrated to introduce oxygen vacancies into theε-MnO_(2),and the obtained oxygen vacancies-richε-MnO_(2)nanosheets(ε-MnO_(2-x))show satisfactory electrochemical performances.Furthermore,an appropriate energy storage mechanism for dissolution/deposition was proposed.Thanks to a synergistic effect of the oxygen vacancies inε-MnO_(2)nanosheets and the exposed free-standing collector for Mn^(2+) dissolution/deposition,theε-MnO_(2-x) nanosheets electrode delivers a remarkable capacity(337 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1))and exhibits an ultrahigh energy density of 462 Wh kg^(-1)(based on the weights of the cathode active material).Furthermore,impressive durability with 85.9%capacity retention after 1000 cycles was obtained.The superior electrochemical performance makes the plasma-induced strategy promising for designing advanced metal oxide electrode materials for high-performance aqueous zinc ion batteries.Le Zhang Shuhua Yang Wenqing Fu Yanwei Cui Jieqiang Wang Degang Zhao Chao Yang Xiutong Wang Bingqiang Cao 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:0
15cDNA Microarray Analysis of Insulin Resistance-associated Genes in Fructose-fed Rats显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the gene expression in fructose-fed rat skeletal muscle by cDNA chip which could provide support to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying insulin resistance. The rats were divided into two groups,one of which was normal control and the other was fed with fructose-rich diet. The mRNA was isolated and purified from the skeletal muscle of two groups. The mRNA from two kinds of tissue was reverse transcribed to cDNA with Cy3-dU TP and Cy5-dUTP separately to prepare hybridization probes. The mixed probes were hybridized to cDNA microarray. The microarray was scanned,analyzed and repeated for two times. Among the total 4 096 tested genes,140 genes were differently expressed,62 up-regulated,78 down-regulated,the expression of Ptprd and Gilz and multiple genes of oxidative metabolism is associated in insulin resistance. 17Synergistic combination of a Co-doped��σ-MnO_(2)cathode with an electrolyte additive for a high-performance aqueous zinc-ion battery显示文摘The key challenges in aqueous zinc-manganese dioxide batteries(MnO_(2)//Zn)are their poor electrochemical kinetics and stability,which are mainly due to low conductivity and the inevitable dissolution of MnO_(2).A syn-ergistic combination of a Co-doped��σ-MnO_(2)electrode(Co-MnO_(2))and a Co(CH_(3)COO)_(2)•4H_(2)O(CoAc)electrolyte additive is here developed to design a high-performance aqueous MnO_(2)//Zn battery(denoted as a Co-MnO_(2)//Zn battery with CoAc).The introduction of Co ions(Co^(3+)/Co^(2+))into the��σ-MnO_(2)electrode is achieved via a facile one-step electrodeposition method.Benefitting from the synergistic coupling effect of the Co-MnO_(2)electrode and the CoAc electrolyte additive,the fabricated Co-MnO_(2)//Zn battery with CoAc shows a commendable dis-charge capacity of 313.8 mAh g^(−1)at 0.5 A g^(−1),excellent rate performance,excellent durability over 1000 cycles(∼92%capacity retention at 1.0 A g^(−1))and admirable energy density(439.3 Wh kg^(−1)),which is a significant improvement compared with an un-doped��σ-MnO_(2)//Zn battery.Shuhua Yang Le Zhang Mengjiao Luo Yanwei Cui Jieqiang Wang Degang Zhao Chao Yang Xiutong Wang Bingqiang Cao 2023ChemPhysMater2023,2,1:0
18Successful medical treatment of west syndrome with a KCNA2 variant: a case report显示文摘Background:West syndrome is a devastating disorder characterized by a triad of epileptic spasms,abnormal electroencephalography(EEG),and developmental arrest or psychomotor delay.In addition to early diagnosis,knowing the etiology of the condition is also important for its treatment.Among various etiologies,the genetic factors,especially mutations of ion channel genes,are very common and strongly linked to West syndrome.Case presentation:A boy who had epileptic spasms from the age of 4 months was diagnosed with West syndrome based on the clinical manifestation and EEG results in Shenzhen Children's Hospital in June 2019.Trios whole-exome sequencing(WES)test and protein structural model prediction were performed.We also reviewed the clinical and genetic features of this syndrome and the mechanisms of action of topiramate(TPM)by literature search in databases of Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man,Clinical Genome Resource,PubMed,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure and Wanfang database using keywords'KCNA2''West syndrome'and'Topiramate'by December 2020.The relationship between the effect of TPM and the pathogenesis of the KCNA2 variant was also assessed.The WES test revealed c.244C>T/p.Arg82Cys varaint of KCNA2(NM_004974.3)in this patient,and Sanger sequencing identified this was a de novo mutation.As far as we know,this is the first report of the C.244C>T/p.Arg82Cys variant in KCNA2,which was likely a pathogenic mutation.The seizures were successfully controlled for 10 months by TPM after failure of sodium valproate,large doses of vitamin B6,and adrenocorticotropic hormone.We speculate that the therapeutic effect of TPM in this patient is partially due to the inhibition of carbonic anhydrase.Conclusions:Mutations in the KCNA2 gene should be considered for patients with West syndrome.The TPM treatment is probably effective for KCNA2-associated disorders.Han Wang Yanwei Zhu Dezhi Cao Hong Chen Xin Ding Qi Zeng Huafang Zou Jianxiang Liao 2022Acta Epileptologica2022,5,1:0
