| 1 | Acute high-altitude hypoxic brain injury Identification of ten differential proteins显示文摘Hypobaric hypoxia can cause severe brain damage and mitochondrial dysfunction,and is involved in hypoxic brain injury.However,little is currently known about the mechanisms responsible for mitochondrial dysfunction in hypobaric hypoxic brain damage.In this study,a rat model of hypobaric hypoxic brain injury was established to investigate the molecular mechanisms associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.As revealed by two-dimensional electrophoresis analysis,16,21,and36 differential protein spots in cerebral mitochondria were observed at 6,12,and 24 hours post-hypobaric hypoxia,respectively.Furthermore,ten protein spots selected from each hypobaric hypoxia subgroup were similarly regulated and were identified by mass spectrometry.These detected proteins included dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 2,creatine kinase B-type,isovaleryl-CoA dehydrogenase,elongation factor Ts,ATP synthase beta-subunit,3-mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase,electron transfer flavoprotein alpha-subunit,Chain A of 2-enoyl-CoA hydratase,NADH dehydrogenase iron-sulfur protein 8 and tropomyosin beta chain.These ten proteins are all involved in the electron transport chain and the function of ATP synthase.Our findings indicate that hypobaric hypoxia can induce the differential expression of several cerebral mitochondrial proteins,which are involved in the regulation of mitochondrial energy production. | Jianyu Li Yuting Qi Hui Liu Ying Cui Li Zhang Haiying Gong Yaxiao Li Lingzhi Li Yongliang Zhang | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,31: | 6 |

| 4 | Pipe-assembly approach for ships using modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm显示文摘Pipe-routing for ship is formulated as searching for the near-optimal pipe paths while meeting certain objectives in an environment scattered with obstacles. Due to the complex construction in layout space, the great number of pipelines, numerous and diverse design constraints and large amount of obstacles, finding the optimum route of ship pipes is a complicated and time-consuming process. A modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm based approach is proposed to find the near-optimal solution to solve the problem. By simplified equipment models, the layout space is firstly divided into three dimensional(3D) grids to build its mathematical model. In the modified NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm, the concept of auxiliary point is introduced to improve the search range of maze algorithm(MA) as well as to guarantee the diversity of chromosomes in initial population. Then the fix-length coding mechanism is proposed, Fuzzy set theory is also adopted to select the optimal solution in Pareto solutions. Finally, the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the contrast test and simulation. | 5 | Integration of two-dimensional morphology and porous surfaces to boost methanol electrooxidation performances of PtAg alloy nanomaterials显示文摘As an attempt to minimize the usage amounts of noble metals in catalysis,PtAg alloy nanocrystals with a porous nanosheet morphology were fabricated through a galvanic replacement reaction.During the reaction,ascorbic acid was added to the solution to protect the Ag triangular nanoplates from being totally etched. | 6 | Estimation of transpiration coefficient and aboveground biomass in maize using time-series UAV multispectral imagery显示文摘Estimating spatial variation in crop transpiration coefficients(CTc) and aboveground biomass(AGB)rapidly and accurately by remote sensing can facilitate precision irrigation management in semiarid regions. This study developed and assessed a novel machine learning(ML) method for estimating CTc and AGB using time-series unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-based multispectral vegetation indices(VIs)of maize under several irrigation treatments at the field scale. Four ML regression methods: multiple linear regression(MLR), support vector regression(SVR), random forest regression(RFR), and adaptive boosting regression(ABR), were used to address the complex relationship between CTcand VIs. AGB was then estimated using exponential, logistic, sigmoid, and linear equations because of their clear mathematical formulations based on the optimal CTcestimation model. The UAV VIs-derived CTcusing the RFR estimation model yielded the highest accuracy(R^(2)= 0.91, RMSE = 0.0526, and n RMSE = 9.07%). The normalized difference red-edge index, transformed chlorophyll absorption in reflectance index, and simple ratio contributed significantly to the RFR-based CTcmodel. The accuracy of AGB estimation using nonlinear methods was higher than that using the linear method. The exponential method yielded the highest accuracy(R^(2)= 0.76, RMSE = 282.8 g m, and n RMSE = 39.24%) in both the 2018 and 2019 growing seasons. In this study, we examined the effects of transient axonal glycoprotein-1 on U251 glioma cells. 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay showed that transient axonal glycoprotein-1 did not inhibit the proliferation of U251 cells, but promoted cell viability. The terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling assay showed that transient axonal glycoprotein-1 did not induce U251 cell apoptosis. Real-time PCR revealed that transient axonal glycoprotein-1 substantially upregulated levels of amyloid precursor protein intracellular C-terminal domain, and p53 and epidermal growth factor receptor mRNA expression. Thus, transient axonal glycoprotein-1 increased apoptosis-related gene expression in U251 cells without inducing apoptosis.
