Modeling mechanism and extension of GM (1,1)显示文摘Firstly,the research progress of grey model GM(1,1) is summarized, which is divided into three development stages: assimilation, alienation and melting stages. Then, the matrix analysis theory is used to study the modeling mechanism of GM(1,1),which decomposes the modeling data matrix into raw data transformation matrix, accumulated generating operation matrix and background value selection matrix. The changes of these three matrices are the essential reasons affecting the modeling and the accuracy of GM(1,1).Finally,the paper proposes a generalization grey model GGM(1,1),which is a extended form of GM(1,1) and also a unified form of model GM(1,1),model GM(1,1,α),stage grey model, hopping grey model, generalized accumulated model, strengthening operator model, weakening operator model and unequal interval model. And the theory and practical significance of the extended model is analyzed. | Xinping Xiao Yichen Hu Huan Guo | 2013 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,3: | 16
D609 protects retinal pigmented epithelium as a potential therapy for age-related macular degeneration显示文摘Accumulated oxidative damage may lead to irreversible retinal pigmented epithelium(RPE)cell death, which is considered to be the primary cause of dry age-related macular degeneration(AMD),leading to blindness in the elderly. However,an effective therapy for this disease is lacking. Here,we described a robust high-content screening procedure with a library of 814 protective compounds and found that D609 strongly protected RPE cells from sodium iodate(SI)-induced oxidative cell death and prolonged their healthy survival.D609 effectively attenuated excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and prevented severe mitochondrial loss due to oxidative stress in the RPE cells.Surprisingly, the potent antioxidative effects of D609 were not achieved through its own reducibility but were primarily dependent on its ability to increase the expression of metallothionein. The injection of this small water-soluble molecule also showed an explicit protective effect of the RPE layer in an SI-induced AMD mouse model. These findings suggested that D609 could serve as a novel antioxidative protector of RPE cells both in vitro and in vivo and unveiled a novel antioxidative mechanism of D609,which may ultimately have clinical applications for the treatment of AMD. | Bowen Wang Li Wang Sijie Gu Yankun Yu Huaxing Huang Kunlun Mo He Xu Fanzhu Zeng Yichen Xiao Lulu Peng Chunqiao Liu Nan Cao Yizhi Liu Jin Yuan Hong Ouyang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 2
Formation mechanism of the Lidang circular structure in the Guangxi Province显示文摘The Lidang circular structure in the center of the Guangxi Province is about 8 km in diameter. This structure appears as an abnormal shallow depression that has disturbed the rather harmonic regional joint systems. Its unique occurrence in the whole region, the circular morphology, negative topography, and the spatial distribution of interior and exterior strata are all consistent with those of impact craters that are formed by asteroidal or cometary collision. To test the impact hypothesis, we carried out both field investigation and remote sensing study of this structure. Regional geological history suggests that if the impact hypothesis were correct, the impact event should have occurred at or after the Early Permian. Field investigation found that the strata inside and outside the crater are dominated by parallel stacks of Lower and Upper Permian limestone that have various thicknesses and different mud contents. The layers of limestone within and outside the circular structure have identical attitudes;no structural disturbances were visible in the outcrops. Field investigations provide conclusive evidence against the impact cratering hypothesis. A high-resolution digital elevation model shows that the spatial distribution of rounded mountains within the structure is controlled by faint but continual extension of joints, suggesting that the crater interior has gone through a much higher degree of erosion. Therefore, regional joints that had once existed within the crater are preserved less well than exterior terrains, forming the abruptly disrupted circular depression. Differential erosion, as the possible formation mechanism of the Lidang structure, is consistent with the different mud contents found between the interior and exterior limestone. The circular outline of this structure may correspond to the shape of the original deposition basin. In conclusion, the Lidang circular structure is a polje formed by karstification, not an astrobleme. | Pan Yan ZhiYong Xiao YiZhen Ma YiChen Wang Jiang Pu | 2019 | Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,4: | 2
Carbon deficiency introduced plasticity of rock-salt-structured transition metal carbides显示文摘High-hardness rock-salt structured transitional metal carbides(TMC)are attracting substantial interest as potential next-generation thermal protection materials. However, the intrinsic brittleness of TMC ceramics impedes their performance in aerodynamically harsh environments. In this work,a promising strategy is proposed to introduce plasticity in TaC–HfC solid solutions by manipulating carbon deficiency. The approach combines density-functional theory(DFT)with experiments and takes Pugh's ratio(k)as the criteria.Depletion of carbon atoms in TaC–HfC solid solutions results in the de-localizing of valence electrons, deviation of spatial modulus along different crystal plane directions, and leading to significant elastic anisotropy. The carbon deficient Ta_(0.8)Hf_(0.2)C_(0.8) is predicted to be a‘softer phase’with reduced modulus and Pugh's ratio(k=0.58).A series of Ta1–xHfxCy(x=0.2 and 0.8,y=0.8,0.9,and 1.0)bulk ceramics are experimentally fabricated by an excessive metal alloying method.Trigonal and hexagonal close-packed structured carbides are derived when the carbon deficiency y decreased to 0.7.The indentation modulus drops from 641.8±14.8 GPa for Ta_(0.8)Hf_(0.2)C_(1.0) to 555.8±9.9 GPa for Ta0.8Hf0.2C0.8.The specific stoichiometric composition of Ta_(0.8)Hf_(0.2)C_(0.8) is experimentally verified to possess both plasticity(k=0.41)and ultra-high nanohardness(41.3±1.3 GPa). | Buhao Zhang Youwei Wang Jie Yin Yichen Wang Hangfeng Zhang Tamás Csanádi Ján Dusza Michael J.Reece Nan Lin Xiao Yang Xuejian Liu Zhengren Huang Dongliang Jiang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,33: | 0
MomL inhibits bacterial antibiotic resistance through the starvation stringent response pathway显示文摘Antibiotic resistance in gram-negative pathogens has become one of the most serious global public health threats. The role of the N-acyl homoserine lactone(AHL)-mediated signaling pathway, which is widespread in gram-negative bacteria,in the bacterial resistance process should be studied in depth. Here,we report a degrading enzyme of AHLs,MomL,that inhibits the antibiotic resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa through a novel mechanism. The MomL-mediated reactivation of kanamycin is highly associated with the relA-mediated starvation stringent response. The degradation of AHLs by MomL results in the inability of LasR to activate relA,which,in turn, stops the activation of downstream rpoS.Further results show that rpoS directly regulates the type VI secretion system H2-T6SS.Under MomL treatment, inactivated RpoS fails to regulate H2-T6SS;therefore,the expression of effector phospholipase A is reduced, and the adaptability of bacteria to antibiotics is weakened.MomL in combination with kanamycin is effective against a wide range of gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, this study reports a MomL-antibiotic treatment strategy on antibiotic-resistant bacteria and reveals its mechanism of action. | Qin Dou Jin Yuan Rilei Yu Jiahui Yang Jiayi Wang Yuxiang Zhu Jing Zhong Hongan Long Zhiqing Liu Xianghong Wang Yuying Li Yichen Xiao Jiazhen Liang Xiao-Hua Zhang Yan Wang | 2022 | mLife2022,1,4: | 0
TNFR2 is a potent prognostic biomarker for post-transplant lung metastasis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Objective:Lung metastasis is a common and fatal complication of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).The precise prediction of post-transplant lung metastasis in the early phase is of great value. Methods:The mRNA profiles of primary and paired lung metastatic lesions were analyzed to determine key signaling pathways. We enrolled 241 HCC patients who underwent liver transplantation from three centers.Tissue microarrays were used to evaluate the prognostic capacity of tumor necrosis factor(TNF),tumor necrosis factor receptor 1(TNFR1),and TNFR2,particularly for post-transplant lung metastasis. Results:Comparison of primary and lung metastatic lesions revealed that the TNF-dependent signaling pathway was related to lung metastasis of HCC.The expression of TNF was degraded in comparison to that in para-tumor tissues(P<0.001).The expression of key receptors in the TNF-dependent signaling pathway,TNFR1 and TNFR2,was higher in HCC tissues than in para-tumor tissues(P<0.001).TNF and TNFR1 showed no relationship with patients’outcomes, whereas elevated TNFR2 in tumor tissue was significantly associated with worse overall survival(OS)and increased recurrence risk(5-year OS rate:31.9%vs.62.5%,P<0.001).Notably,elevated TNFR2 levels were also associated with an increased risk of post-transplant lung metastasis(hazard ratio:1.146;P<0.001).Cox regression analysis revealed that TNFR2,Hangzhou criteria, age, and hepatitis B surface antigen were independent risk factors for post-transplant lung metastasis, and a novel nomogram was established accordingly. The nomogram achieved excellent prognostic efficiency(area under time-dependent receiver operating characteristic=0.755,concordance-index=0.779)and was superior to conventional models, such as the Milan criteria.Conclusions:TNFR2 is a potent prognostic biomarker for predicting post-transplant lung metastasis in patients with HCC.A nomogram incorporating TNFR2 deserves to be a helpful prognostic tool in liver transplantation for HCC. | Huigang Li Zuyuan Lin Jianyong Zhuo Modan Yang Wei Shen Zhihang Hu Yichen Ding Hao Chen Chiyu He Xinyu Yang Siyi Dong Xuyong Wei Beicheng Sun Shusen Zheng Ren Lang Di Lu Xiao Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,1: | 0
An updated constraint on the local stratigraphy at the Chang'E-4 landing site显示文摘The Chang’E-4 mission has been exploring the lunar farside. Two scientific targets of the rover onboard are(1)resolving the possible mineralogy related to the South Pole-Aitken basin and(2)understanding the subsurface processes at the lunar farside.Publications to date that are based on the reflectance spectra and radar data obtained by the rover have shown a persistent inconsistency about the local stratigraphy. To explain both the abnormal surface topography at the landing site and the unexpected radargram observed by the rover, the Alder crater has been frequently reported to be older than the mare basalts at that landing site. However, this argument is not supported by earlier geological mapping nor recent crater statistics.Resolving this controversy is critical for a full understanding of the geological history of the landing area and for correct interpretations of the scientific data returned.Employing detailed crater statistics, rigorous statistical analyses, and an updated crater chronology function, this study is determined to resolve the relative ages of the Alder crater,Finsen crater, and the mare basalts on the floor of Von Kármán.Our results reveal that while background secondaries and local resurfacing have widely occurred in the study area, affecting age determinations, the statistics are significant enough to conclude that the Alder crater is the oldest among the three targets. This independent constraint is consistent with both the crosscutting relationships of different terrains in this area and global stratigraphic mapping. Our results exclude Alder as a possible contributor of the post-mare deposits at the landing site, appealing for a more systematic stratigraphy study to resolve the provenances of these deposits. | YiRen Chang ZhiYong Xiao YiChen Wang ChunYu Ding Jun Cui YuZhen Cai | 2021 | Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,1: | 0
Comparative Analysis of the Evolution of Community Space in Chengdu-Chongqing Region: A Case Study of Main Urban Areas in Chengdu and Chongqing显示文摘Due to the integrated development between Chengdu and Chongqing, there are a large number of residents flowing into the two cities from their surrounding areas,so community renewal is imminent.Because of the similarity in the historical and cultural background of the two places,a comparative analysis of the evolution of community space in Chengdu-Chongqing Region enables Chengdu and Chongqing learn from each other and speed up the pace of renewal. This paper analyzed the evolution of community space in main urban areas of Chengdu and Chongqing.Specifically, the evolution of community space in Chengdu and Chongqing went through three stages. The starting time of community renewal in the two places was very close, but the duration of each stage varied. The second stage of Chengdu continued for a longer time,so its renovation and renewal of the community space was more detailed and thorough, and the emphasis and extension direction of the evolution of the community space were different. The evolution of community space in both Chengdu and Chongqing went through'mechanical renewal of demolition and construction—small-scale gradual renewal',but the path of renewal and development of the community space in Chengdu was faster. This paper, from the perspective of the evolution of community space, put forward the framework and content of community renewal in Chengdu and Chongqing based on community development and elaborated the community research content based on community development. | GAO Wei XIAO Yue HE Yi GUO Zhenni LENG Qinyi LIU Hong KANG Yichen WANG Zhiye ZHU Zeliang WANG Jiamin ZHOU Xu CHAO Yi DONG Hailong MAO Xiao WANG Chensu | 2017 | Journal of Landscape Research2017,9,5: | 0

Study on the Main Controlling Factors of the Early Ordovician Stromatolites Development in Liujiachang Area of Songzi City显示文摘The Early Ordovician stromatolites in the study area are mainly exposed at the bottom and middle and lower parts of the Second Member of Nanjinguan Formation, the top of the Fourth Member of Nanjinguan Formation, the middle of the Second Member of Fenxiang Formation and the bottom of the First Member of Honghuayuan Formation. In order to find out the controlling factors of Lower Ordovician stromatolites development in the study area, the analysis data of carbon, oxygen isotope samples, macro element samples as well as their variation characteristics are studied and then combined them with previous research results, which is eventually beneficial for reaching the conclusion:sea level change is one of the main factors controlling the formation of stromatolites. There are five sea level change cycles in the Early Ordovician period. The analysis of sea level change and accommodation space variation characteristics show that when the growth rate of the accommodation space is approximately equal to that of carbonate, the circulation of seawater is well, and the amount of light and oxygen is sufficient,so that the cyanobacteria organism can be multiplied in large quantities. The growth and development provide favorable conditions, and favorable conditions are provided for the growth and development of stromatolites; The peak changes in CaO content and CaO/MgO ratio indicate that the formation period of stromatolites is arid climate environment with high water temperature and large evaporation.Prokaryote reproduction is suitable for the environments with high seawater cleanliness. When the amount of land-based debris injected into the sea increases, the turbidity of water will lead to a large number of deaths of algae microorganisms that form stromatolites, and the stromatolitic microbial mats cannot be preserved. In addition, the growth and predation of macro-organisms play a restrictive role in the development of stromatolite-forming micro-organisms blue-green algae.According to the actual situa-tion of the development of the laminated rocks in the study area, what is the dominant function in the formation and decline of stromatolites between the evolution of metazoans and changing environments is discussed in the study. | Lanjun Wu Chuantao Xiao Zhongzhen Cheng Yichen Bao Li Huang Kanglin Chen | 2019 | Open Journal of Yangtze Oil and Gas2019,4,3: | 0
