1Construction of a genetic linkage map for cotton based on SRAP显示文摘A genetic linkage map of cotton was constructed with a newly developed molecular marker-SRAP (sequence-related amplified polymorphism) using a population consisting of 129 F2 individuals derived from the interspecific cross of Handan208 Pima90. A total of 136 primer pairs were used to detect polymorphisms between the two parents and 76 primer pairs with better polymorphisms were picked out to analyze the F2 population. 285 polymorphic bands were generated in total with an average of 3.75 polymorphic bands per pair of primers. The primer pair showing most polymorphic bands was the combination of me3 and em2, which produced 13 polymorphic bands. The 285 loci were used to construct linkage map with MAPMAKER/EXP3.0 and 237 loci were mapped at a LOD≥3.0 on 39 linkage groups. The total length of the map is 3030.7 cM, covering 65.4% of the whole cotton genome, and the average distance between adjacent markers is 12.79 cM. All the markers are distributed evenly among the linkage groups without clustering of loci. 2Remote sensing imagery in vegetation mapping: a review显示文摘Aims Mapping vegetation through remotely sensed images involves various considerations,processes and techniques.Increasing availability of remotely sensed images due to the rapid advancement of remote sensing technology expands the horizon of our choices of imagery sources.Various sources of imagery are known for their differences in spectral,spatial,radioactive and temporal characteristics and thus are suitable for different purposes of vegetation mapping.Generally,it needs to develop a vegetation classification at first for classifying and mapping vegetation cover from remote sensed images either at a community level or species level.Then,correlations of the vegetation types(communities or species)within this classification system with discernible spectral characteristics of remote sensed imagery have to be identified.These spectral classes of the imagery are finally translated into the vegetation types in the image interpretation process,which is also called image processing.This paper presents an overview of how to use remote sensing imagery to classify and map vegetation cover.Methods Specifically,this paper focuses on the comparisons of popular remote sensing sensors,commonly adopted image processing methods and prevailing classification accuracy assessments.Important findings The basic concepts,available imagery sources and classification techniques of remote sensing imagery related to vegetation mapping were introduced,analyzed and compared.The advantages and limitations of using remote sensing imagery for vegetation cover mapping were provided to iterate the importance of thorough understanding of the related concepts and careful design of the technical procedures,which can be utilized to study vegetation cover from remote sensed images.Yichun Xie Zongyao Sha Mei Yu 2008Journal of Plant Ecology2008,1,1:39

4Memristors with organic-inorganic halide perovskites显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites(OHPs)have been intensively studied for application in solar cells with high conversion efficiency exceeding 22%.The unique electrical and optical properties of OHPs have led to their use in optoelectronic device applications beyond photovoltaics,such as light-emitting diodes,photodetectors,transistors.New information storage technologies and computing architectures are being researched extensively with the aim of addressing the growing challenge of approaching end of Moore's law and von Neumann bottleneck.As the fourth basic circuit element,memristor is a leading candidate with powerful capabilities in information storage and neuromorphic computing applications.Recently,OHPs have received growing attention as promising materials for memristors.In particular,their mixed ionic-electronic conduction ability paired with light sensitivity provide OHPs with the opportunity to display novel functions such as optical-erase memory,optogenetics-inspired synaptic functions,and lightaccelerated learning capability.This review covers recent advances in OHP-based memristors development including memristive mechanism and analytical models,universal memristive characteristics for memory and neuromorphic computing applications,and novel multi-functionalization.Challenges and future prospects of OHP-based memristors are also discussed.Xiaoning Zhao Haiyang Xu Zhongqiang Wang Ya Lin Yichun Liu 2019InfoMat2019,1,2:10
5Permian integrative stratigraphy and timescale of China显示文摘A series of global major geological and biological events occurred during the Permian Period. Establishing a highresolution stratigraphic and temporal framework is essential to understand their cause-effect relationship. The official International timescale of the Permian System consists of three series(i.e., Cisuralian, Guadalupian and Lopingian in ascending order) and nine stages. In China, the Permian System is composed of three series(Chuanshanian, Yansingian and Lopingian) and eight stages, of which the subdivisions and definitions of the Chuanshanian and Yangsingian series are very different from the Cisuralian and Guadalupian series. The Permian Period spanned ~47 Myr. Its base is defined by the First Appearance Datum(FAD) of the conodont Streptognathodus isolatus at Aidaralash, Kazakhstan with an interpolated absolute age 298.9±0.15 Ma at Usolka, southern Urals, Russia. Its top equals the base of the Triassic System and is defined by the FAD of the conodont Hindeodus parvus at Meishan D section, southeast China with an interpolated absolute age 251.902±0.024 Ma. Thirty-five conodont, 23 fusulinid, 17 radiolarian and 20 ammonoid zones are established for the Permian in China, of which the Guadalupian and Lopingian conodont zones have been served as the standard for international correlation. The Permian δ13 Ccarbtrend indicates that it is characterized by a rapid negative shift of 3–5‰ at the end of the Changhsingian, which can be used for global correlation of the end-Permian mass extinction interval, but δ13 Ccarbrecords from all other intervals may have more or less suffered subsequent diagenetic alteration or represented regional or local signatures only. Permian δ18 Oapatitestudies suggest that an icehouse stage dominated the time interval from the late Carboniferous to Kungurian(late Cisuralian). However, paleoclimate began to ameriolate during the late Kungurian and gradually shifted into a greenhouse-dominated stage during the Guadalupian.The Changhsingian was a relatively cool stage, followed by a globally-recognizable rapid temperature rise of 8–10°C at the very end of the Changhsingian. The87 Sr/86 Sr ratio trend shows that their values at the beginning of the Permian were between 0.70800,then gradually decreased to the late Capitanian minimum 0.70680–0.70690, followed by a persistent increase until the end of the Permian with the value 0.70708. Magenetostratigraphy suggests two distinct stages separated by the Illawarra Reversal in the middle Wordian, of which the lower is the reverse polarity Kiaman Superchron and the upper is the mixed-polarity Illawarra Superchron. The end-Guadalupian(or pre-Lopingian) biological crisis occurred during the late Capitanian, when faunal changeovers of different fossil groups had different paces, but generally experienced a relatively long time from the Jinogondolella altudensis Zone until the earliest Wuchiapingian. The end-Permian mass extinction was a catastrophic event that is best constrained at the Meishan section, which occurred at 251.941±0.037 Ma and persisted no more than 61±48 kyr. After the major pulse at Bed 25, the extinction patterns are displayed differently in different sections. The global end-Guadalupian regression is manifested between the conodont Jinogondolella xuanhanensis and Clarkina dukouensis zones and the endChanghsingian transgression began in the Hindeodus changxingensis-Clarkina zhejiangensis Zone. 6Hybrid Satellite-Aerial-Terrestrial Networks in Emergency Scenarios:A Survey显示文摘Natural disaster or large-scale unexpected events easily make the terrestrial network overloaded,paralyzed, or totally destroyed. It is highly demanded to build an emergency network which can be deployed rapidly, offer high data rate and wide coverage. The emergence of aerial platforms especially the low altitude platforms(LAPs) indicates a stable and reliable direction for the development of emergency network. Hybrid satellite-aerial-terrestrial(HSAT) networks have the ability to provide effective services rather than traditional infrastructures during the emergency situation. In this paper, the aerial platforms and the HSAT networks are surveyed and the key technologies are discussed from several aspects. 7Cationic content effects of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants on the flocculation properties显示文摘A series of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(CTA) modified carboxymethyl chitosan,denoted as CMC-CTA) with different substitution degrees of CTA were prepared successfully.The content of carboxymethyl groups in each CMC-CTA sample was kept almost constant.The solubility of the various flocculants showed that,higher cationic content of flocculants caused a better solubility.The flocculation experiments using kaolin suspension as synthetic water at the laboratory scale indicated that the substitution degree of CTA was one of the key factors for the flocculation properties.With the increase of cationic content,the flocculants were demonstrated better flocculation performance and lower dosage requirement.Flocculation kinetics model of particles collisions combining zeta potential and turbidity measurements was employed to investigate the effects of the cationic content of the flocculants on the flocculation properties from the viewpoint of flocculation mechanism in detail.Furthermore,flocculation performance using raw water from Zhenjiang part of Yangtze River at the pilot scale showed the similar effects to those at the laboratory scale.Zhen Yang Yabo Shang Xin Huang Yichun Chen Yaobo Lu Aimin Chen Yuxiang Jiang Wei Gu Xiaozhi Qian Hu Yang Rongshi Cheng 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,8:8
8Assessing the impacts of human activities and climate variations on grassland productivity by partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)显示文摘The cause-effect associations between geographical phenomena are an important focus in ecological research. Recent studies in structural equation modeling(SEM) demonstrated the potential for analyzing such associations. We applied the variance-based partial least squares SEM(PLS-SEM) and geographically-weighted regression(GWR) modeling to assess the human-climate impact on grassland productivity represented by above-ground biomass(AGB). The human and climate factors and their interaction were taken to explain the AGB variance by a PLS-SEM developed for the grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia, China. Results indicated that 65.5% of the AGB variance could be explained by the human and climate factors and their interaction. The case study showed that the human and climate factors imposed a significant and negative impact on the AGB and that their interaction alleviated to some extent the threat from the intensified human-climate pressure. The alleviation may be attributable to vegetation adaptation to high human-climate stresses, to human adaptation to climate conditions or/and to recent vegetation restoration programs in the highly degraded areas. Furthermore, the AGB response to the human and climate factors modeled by GWR exhibited significant spatial variations. 10Studies of new EST-SSRs derived from Gossypium barbadense显示文摘Existing cotton EST-SSR markers are mostly derived from Gossypium arboreum and Gossypium hir-sutum, but EST-SSR markers from Gossypium barbadense are scarce. One hundred and nineteen EST-SSRs were developed based on 98 unique ESTs from a cDNA library constructed in our laboratory using developing fibers from G. barbadense cv. Pima3-79. Among the SSRs, trinucleotide AAG appeared at a high frequency of 11.76%. 36 accessions (consisting of 13 diploids of the A genome, 11 diploids of the D genome and 12 allotetraploids of the AD genome) were employed to test new EST-SSRs. 76 EST-SSRs were successfully amplified, and 313 polymorphic fragments were yielded, with an average of 4.11 fragments per primer pair. The PIC ranged from 0.17 to 0.95 with an average of 0.53. Based on Jaccard’s genetic similarity coefficient, these 36 accessions were clustered into three groups. 21 EST-SSRs exhibited polymorphisms in BC1 population ((Emian22 × Pima3-79) × Emian22), 24 polymor- phic loci were generated, while 22 of the 24 polymorphic loci were integrated with our interspecific BC1 backbone genetic linkage map, and anchored in 12 chromosomes. 11Progresses in Sustainable Recycling Technology of Spent Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘The number of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is steadily increasing in order to meet the ever-growing demand for sustainable energy and a high quality of life for humankind.At the same time,the resulting large number of LIB waste certainly poses safety hazards if it is not properly disposed of and will seriously harm the environment due to its inherent toxicity due to the use of toxic substances.Moreover,the consumption of many scarce precious metal resources is behind the mass production of batteries.In the light of severe environmental,resources,safety and recycling problems,recycling spent LIBs have become an essential urgently needed action to achieve sustainable social development.This review therefore critically analyses the value and the need for recycling of spent LIBs from a variety of resources and the environment.A range of existing technologies for recycling and reusing spent LIBs,such as pretreatment,pyrometallurgy,hydrometallurgy,and direct recycled methods,is subsequently summarized exclusively.In addition,the benefits and problems of the methods described above are analyzed in detail.It also introduces recycling progress of other LIB components,such as anodes,separators,and electrolytes,as well as the high-value cathode.Finally,the prospects for recycling LIBs are addressed in four ways(government,users,battery manufacturers,and recyclers).This review should contribute to the development of the recycling of used LIBs,particularly in support of industrialization and recycling processes.Kaidi Du Edison Huixiang Ang Xinglong Wu Yichun Liu 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4:7
12Permian Fusuline Fauna from the Lower Part of the Lugu Formation in the Central Qiangtang Block and its Geological Implications显示文摘A Kubergandian(Kungurian) fusuline fauna from the lower part of the Lugu Formation in the Cuozheqiangma area, central Qiangtang Block is described. This fusuline fauna belongs to the Southern Transitional Zone in palaeobiogeography, and is characterised by the presence of the distinctive bi-temperate genus Monodiexodina and many genera common in lower latitude Tethyan areas such as Parafusulina and Pseudodoliolina. 13Effects of temperature and pressure on the structural and optical properties of ZnO films grown by pulsed laser deposition显示文摘ZnO thin films were deposited on fused silica via pulsed laser deposition (PLD) at substrate temperatures from 300°C to 800°C and ambient oxygen pressures ranging from 10-2 mTorr to 240 mTorr. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectra indicated that wurtzite ZnO was obtained in all cases. The highly c-oriented ZnO films were obtained for oxygen pressures above 11 mTorr. The room-temperature photoluminescence (PL) spectra demonstrated that all the films exhibited strong near-band-edge (NBE) emission, while deep-level (DL) emission was also observed in films deposited at oxygen pressures below 80 mTorr. 14Comparison of CMAS corrosion and sintering induced microstructural characteristics of APS thermal barrier coatings显示文摘The microstructural features of high-temperature sintered and CaO-MgO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2(CMAS) corroded air plasma sprayed Y_2O_3 stabilized ZrO_2(YSZ) thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) under the thermal gradient condition were comparatively studied. As-sprayed YSZ has a lamellar structure and the lamellae are composed of closely aligned columnar crystals. The sintered and the CMAS corroded YSZ coatings maintain the t'-ZrO_2 phase as the as-sprayed YSZ coating. The sintered YSZ remains the lamellar structure with reduced interlamellar gaps and grains coarsening. After the CMAS corrosion, the top layer of the YSZ coating keeps its lamellar structure consisting of some columnar grains with the CMAS infiltration into the intergrain gaps and the formation of striped Zr_2Y_2 O_7. 15Relationship Between Social Economic Agglomeration and Labor Productivity of Core Cities in Northeast China显示文摘Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun and Harbin are the four core cities which play an essential role in terms of promoting the economic development in Northeast China. In this paper, the impact of urban agglomeration on labor productivity is explored by making comparisons among these four cities. The model used for analysis is a classical model derived from previous studies. Some indicators, such as population density and economic density, were selected to examine the impact of urban agglomeration on the labor productivity based on the time-series data for the four cities from 1990 to 2007. The four main conclusions are: 1) The promotion from the growth rate of population density on the growth rate of labor productivity is limited. 2) The negative relationship exists between the growth rate of employment density and the growth rate of labor productivity. 3) Agglomeration effect exists in the four cities, the highest one is Dalian, Shenyang takes the second place, followed by Changchun and Harbin, and the predominant promotion exerted on the labor productivity is the output density.ZHANG Peng YANG Qingshan ZHAO Yichun 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,2:4
16Design of Service-Oriented Architecture for Spatial Data Integration and Its Application in Building Web-based GIS Systems显示文摘In this paper we propose a service-oriented architecture for spatial data integration (SOA-SDI) in the context of a large number of available spatial data sources that are physically sitting at different places, and develop web-based GIS systems based on SOA-SDI, allowing client applications to pull in, analyze and present spatial data from those available spatial data sources. The proposed architecture logically includes 4 layers or components; they are layer of multiple data provider services, layer of data in-tegration, layer of backend services, and front-end graphical user interface (GUI) for spatial data presentation. 17Novel SNPs in IL-17F and IL-17A genes associated with somatic cell count in Chinese Holstein and Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle显示文摘Background: Bovine mastitis is the most common and costly disease of lactating cattle worldwide. Apart from milk somatic cell count(SCC) and somatic cell score(SCS), serum cytokines such as interleukin-17(IL-17) and interleukin-4(IL-4) may also be potential indicators for bovine mastitis. The present study was designed to investigate the effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in bovine IL-17 F and IL-17 A genes on SCC, SCS and serum cytokines in Chinese Holstein and Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle, and to compare the m RNA expression variations of the cows with different genotypes.Results: A total of 464 lactating cows(337 Holstein and 127 Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle) were screened for SNPs identification and the data were analyzed using fixed effects of herd, parity, season and year of calving by general linear model procedure. The results revealed that SNP g.24392436 C > T in IL-17 F and SNP g.24345410 A > G in IL-17 A showed significant effects on SCC and IL-4 in Holstein(n = 337) and on IL-17 and IL-4 in Sanhe cattle(n = 127). 19A numerical study on salinity stratification at the Oujiang River Estuary, China显示文摘The Oujiang River Estuary(ORE)is a macrotidal estuary with drastic variation of river discharge and large tidal range.Numerical simulations based on the unstructured grid,Finite-Volume,primitive equation Community Ocean Model(FVCOM)are conducted to investigate the intratidal and intertidal variations of salinity with an extremely upstream river boundary and large computational domain.The dynamic equation of potential energy anomaly is adopted to evaluate the stratification and mixing processes from model results.Meanwhile,the stability of estuarine stratification on different timescales and its spatial variation are studied using estuarine Richardson number and stratification parameter.The critical values of tidal range and river discharge that determine the stratification state are obtained.The critical values exhibit distinct spatial difference.The north branch of the ORE exhibits well-mixed conditions when the tidal range exceeds 3.8,4.0 and 4.6m at upper inlet,middle segment and the river mouth,respectively.When river discharge is below 280 m^3/s or exceeds 510 m^3/s,the upper part of the north branch is well-mixed sustainably.Near the river mouth,river discharge of 280 m^3/s is a rough critical value that separates well-mixed and stratified states.It is also concluded that periodic stratification exists in the North Channel.The lower estuary appears to be partially stratified at early ebb or early flood tide,and well-mixed in other tidal stages.The stratification only develops during early ebb in the upper segment.The enhancement of stratification is mainly caused by longitudinal advection and lateral velocity shear,while turbulent mixing and longitudinal tidal strain are the main factors of stratification attenuation.Yichun Li Jingui Liu 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:4
