1Precise orbit determination of Beidou Satellites with precise positioning显示文摘Chinese Beidou satellite navigation system constellation currently consists of eight Beidou satellites and can provide preliminary service of navigation and positioning in the Asia-Pacific Region.Based on the self-developed software Position And Navigation Data Analysis(PANDA) and Beidou Experimental Tracking Stations (BETS),which are built by Wuhan University,the study of Beidou precise orbit determination,static precise point positioning (PPP),and high precision relative positioning,and differential positioning are carried out comprehensively.Results show that the radial precision of the Beidou satellite orbit determination is better than 10 centimeters.The RMS of static PPP can reach several centimeters to even millimeters for baseline relative positioning.The precision of kinematic pseudo-range differential positioning and RTK mode positioning are 2-4 m and 5-10 cm respectively,which are close to the level of GPS precise positioning.Research in this paper verifies that,with support of ground reference station network,Beidou satellite navigation system can provide precise positioning from several decimeters to meters in the wide area and several centimeters in the regional area.These promising results would be helpful for the implementation and applications of Beidou satellite navigation system.SHI Chuang ZHAO QiLe LI Min TANG WeiMing HU ZhiGang LOU YiDong ZHANG HongPing NIU XiaoJi LIU JingNan 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:61
2Occurrence and Fate of Antibiotics in the Aqueous Environment and Their Removal by Constructed Wetlands in China: A review显示文摘Overuse of antibiotics has become a serious ecological problem worldwide.There is growing concern that antibiotics are losing their effectiveness due to an increased antibiotic resistance in bacteria.During the last twenty years,consumption of antibiotics has increased rapidly in China,which has been cited as one of the world's worst abusers of antibiotics.This review summarizes the current state of antibiotic contamination in China's three major rivers(the Yangtze River,Yellow River,and Pearl River) and illustrates the occurrence and fate of antibiotics in conventional municipal wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).The analytical data indicate that traditional WWTPs cannot completely remove these concerned pharmaceuticals,as seen in the large difference between the distribution coefficient(K_d) and the uneven removal efficiency of various types of antibiotics.Although constructed wetlands(CWs)offer a potential way to remove these antibiotics from water supplies,knowledge of their mechanisms is limited.There are four main factors affecting the performance of CWs used for the treatment of antibiotics in water supplies,the types and configurations of CWs,hydraulic load rates,substrates,and plants and microorganisms.Further researches focusing on these factors are needed to improve the removal efficiency of antibiotics in CWs.GUAN Yidong WANG Bo GAO Yongxia LIU Wen ZHAO Xiaoli HUANG Xiaofeng YU Jianghuai 2017Pedosphere2017,27,1:22
3Characteristics of secondary inorganic aerosol and sulfate species in size-fractionated aerosol particles in Shanghai显示文摘Sulfate, nitrate and ammonium(SNA) are the dominant species in secondary inorganic aerosol, and are considered an important factor in regional haze formation. Size-fractionated aerosol particles for a whole year were collected to study the size distribution of SNA as well as their chemical species in Shanghai. SNA mainly accumulated in fine particles and the highest average ratio of SNA to particulate matter(PM) was observed to be 47% in the fine size fraction(0.49–0.95 μm). Higher sulfur oxidation ratio and nitrogen oxidation ratio values were observed in PM of fine size less than 0.95 μm. Ion balance calculations indicated that more secondary sulfate and nitrate would be generated in PM of fine size(0.49–0.95 μm). Sulfur K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES) spectra of typical samples were analyzed. Results revealed that sulfur mainly existed as sulfate with a proportion(atomic basis) more than 73% in all size of PM and even higher at 90% in fine particles. Sulfate mainly existed as(NH4)2SO4 and gypsum in PM of Shanghai. Compared to non-haze days, a dramatic increase of(NH4)2SO4 content was found in fine particles on haze days only, which suggested the promoting impact of(NH4)2SO4 on haze formation. According to the result of air mass backward trajectory analysis, more(NH4)2SO4 would be generated during the periods of air mass stagnation. 4Sulfur speciation and bioaccumulation in camphor tree leaves as atmospheric sulfur indicator analyzed by synchrotron radiation XRF and XANES显示文摘Analyzing and understanding the effects of ambient pollution on plants is getting more and more attention as a topic of environmental biology.A method based on synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence and X-ray absorption near edge structure spectroscopy was established to analyze the sulfur concentration and speciation in mature camphor tree leaves (CTLs),which were sampled from 5 local fields in Shanghai,China.Annual SO2 concentration,SO42-concentration in atmospheric particulate,SO42-and sulfur concentration in soil were also analyzed to explore the relationship between ambient sulfur sources and the sulfur nutrient cycling in CTLs.Total sulfur concentration in mature camphor tree leaves was 766-1704 mg/kg.The mainly detected sulfur states and their corresponding compounds were +6 (sulfate,include inorganic sulfate and organic sulfate),+5.2 (sulfonate),+2.2 (suloxides),+0.6 (thiols and thiothers),+0.2 (organic sulfides).Total sulfur concentration was strongly correlated with sulfate proportion with a linear correlation coefficient up to 0.977,which suggested that sulfur accumulated in CTLs as sulfate form.Reduced sulfur compounds (organic sulfides,thiols,thioethers,sulfoxide and sulfonate) assimilation was sufficed to meet the nutrient requirement for growth at a balanced level around 526 mg/kg.The sulfate accumulation mainly caused by atmospheric sulfur pollution such as SO2 and airborne sulfate particulate instead of soil contamination.From urban to suburb place,sulfate in mature CTLs decreased as the atmospheric sulfur pollution reduced,but a dramatic increase presented near the seashore,where the marine sulfate emission and maritime activity pollution were significant.The sulfur concentration and speciation in mature CTLs effectively represented the long-term biological accumulation of atmospheric sulfur pollution in local environment.Jianrong Zeng Guilin Zhang Liangman Bao Shilei Long Mingguang Tan Yan Li Chenyan Ma Yidong Zhao 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,3:9
5Hydrogen evolution and electromigration in the corrosion of aluminium metal sheath inside high‐voltage cables显示文摘The urgent need for power transmission is the reason for leading research on the safer operation of high‐voltage cables.These high‐voltage cables are emerging as an efficient technology for underground power transmission.However,the electrochemical corrosion of aluminium(Al)metal sheaths in these cables is a common and challenging degradation process.Herein,the corrosion mechanisms and electrochemical analysis are investigated by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and laboratory‐designed electro-chemical characterisation techniques.In the corrosion experiments,the authors evaluated the corrosion rate by measuring the release rate of hydrogen gas and explored the different roles of sodium polyacrylate(NaPA)during the corrosion process.It is found that the complexation reactions between NaPA and Al inhibited corrosion while increased the resistance of the buffer layer.The proposed mechanisms of corrosion in this study can improve the lifespan and sustainability of high‐voltage power transmission.Yidong Chen Kai Zhou Jiamin Kong Shakeel Akram Xiancheng Ren Xiaoshan Zhang Yuan Li Qi Zhao 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:7

8Substitute of Expensive Pt with Improved Electrocatalytic Performance and Higher Resistance to CO Poisoning for Methanol Oxidation: the Case of Synergistic Pt-Co_3O_4 Nanocomposite显示文摘In this paper, Pt-Co_3O_4 nanocomposite was synthesized by a sol gel process combined with electrodeposition method. Its electrocatalytic activity towards methanol oxidation was investigated at room temperature using cyclic voltammetry(CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and current density time curve. It is found that the resultant Pt-Co_3O_4 catalysts with minute amount of Pt exhibite attractive electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR) but with a high resistance CO poisoning due to the synergistic effects from Pt and Co_3O_4. 9Science Researches of Chinese Manned Space Flight显示文摘With the complete success of the 2nd stage of Chinese Manned Space Program(CMSP),several science researches have been performed on Tiangong-1 experimental spacelab, which was docked with three Shenzhou spaceships one after another. The China's real spacelab, Tiangong-2 will be launched in 2015, docked with a Shenzhou spaceship soon. After six months, it will be docked with the first Chinese cargo ship(Tianzhou-1). More space science researches, involving with space biology, fluid physics, fundamental physics, materials science, Earth science, astronomy and space environmental science, will be operated on Tiangong-2 spacelab, and crewed and cargo spaceships. Furthermore, the considerable large-scale space utilization of Shina's Space Station is planned. 10Recent Progress in Space Science and Applications of China’s Space Station in 2020-2022显示文摘China scheduled to complete the assembly of the T-shaped Tiangong Space Station in 2022,and will enter a new stage of utilization.There are more than 20 experiment racks inside the modules,and more than 50 external onboard payloads mounting spaces,which will support large-scale science and technology experiments during the operation.The development of internal experiment racks and external research accommodations approved during the construction has been completed,of which 4 racks in Tianhe core module,including High Microgravity Level research Rack(HMLR)and Container-less Materials Processing Rack(CMPR),have finished on-orbit tests;while other racks in Wentian and Mengtian experiment modules are under comprehensive ground tests.The Chinese Space Survey Telescope(CSST)has advanced much in the last two years with 24 pre-launch research projects funded and 4 joint science center built in preparation for CSST’s future scientific observations and operations.The systematic research planning for China’s Space Station(CSS)during 2022-2032 is updated with the researches classified into four important areas:space life sciences and human research,microgravity physical sciences,space astronomy and Earth science,and new space technologies and applications.According to the planning,more than 1000 experiments are expected to perform in CSS during the operating period.Overall,the CSS utilization missions are proceeding as planned,which will contribute to the major scientific or application output and have a positive impact on the quality of life on Earth.GAO Ming ZHAO Guangheng GU Yidong 2022空间科学学报2022,42,4:2

13PD-1 Involvement in Peripheral Blood CD8+T Lymphocyte Dysfunction in Patients with Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:Programmed cell death-1(PD-1)plays an important role in downregulating T lymphocytes but the mechanisms are still poorly understood.This study aimed to explore the role of PD-1 in CD8^(+)T lymphocyte dysfunction in hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Methods:Thirty patients with HBV-ACLF and 30 healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.The differences in the numbers and functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes,PD-1 and glucose transporter-1(Glut1)expression from the peripheral blood of patients with HBV-ACLF and HCs were analyzed.In vitro,the CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from HCs were cultured(HC group)and the CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from ACLF patients were cultured with PD-L1-IgG(ACLF+PD-1 group)or IgG(ACLF group).The numbers and functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes,PD-1 expression,glycogen uptake capacity,and Glut1,hexokinase-2(HK2),and pyruvate kinase(PKM2)expression were analyzed among the HC group,ACLF group and ACLF+PD-1group.Results:The absolute numbers of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood from patients with HBVACLF were lower than in the HCs(p<0.001).The expression of PD-1 in peripheral blood CD8^(+)T lymphocytes was lower in HCs than in patients with HBV-ACLF(p=0.021).Compared with HCs,PD-1 expression was increased(p=0.021)and Glut1 expression was decreased(p=0.016)in CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from the HBV-ACLF group.In vitro,glycogen uptake and functions of ACLF CD8^(+)T lymphocytes were significantly lower than that in HCs(p=0.017;all p<0.001).When PD-1/PD-L1 was activated,the glycogen uptake rate and expression levels of Glut1,HK2,and PKM2 showed a decreasing trend(ACLF+PD-1 group compared to ACLF group,all p<0.05).The functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in the ACLF+PD-1 group[using biomarkers of Ki67,CD69,IL-2,interferon-gamma,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha-were lower than in the ACLF group(all p<0.05).Conclusions:CD8^(+)T lymphocyte dysfunction is observed in patients with HBV-ACLF.PD-1-induced T lymphocyte dysfunction might involve glycolysis inhibition.Xiaoshuang Zhou Yidong Li Yaqiu Ji Tian Liu Ninghui Zhao Jiefeng He Jia Yao 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,3:2
14A novel manganese complex LMnAc selectively kills cancer cells by induction of ROS-triggered and mitochondrial-mediated cell death显示文摘We previously identified a novel synthesized metal compound,LMnAc([L2Mn2(Ac)(H2O)2](Ac)(L=bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino-2-propionic acid)).This compound exhibited significant inhibition on cancer cell proliferation and was more selective against cancer cells than was the popular chemotherapeutic reagent cisplatin.In this study,we further investigated the underlying molecular mechanisms of LMnAc-induced cancer cell death.We found that LMnAc achieved its selectivity against cancer cells through the transferrin-transferrin receptor system,which is highly expressed in tumor cells.LMnAc triggered cancer cells to commit autophagy and apoptosis,which was mediated by the mitochondrial pathway.Moreover,LMnAc disrupted mitochondrial function,resulting in mitochondrial membrane potential collapse and ATP reduction.In addition,LMnAc induced intracellular Ca2+overload and reactive oxygen species generation.Interestingly,its anticancer effect was significantly reduced following pretreatment with the antioxidant N-acetyl cysteine,indicating that reactive oxygen species triggered cell death.Altogether,our data suggest that LMnAc appears to be a selectively promising anticancer drug candidate.LI Xiang ZHAO KaiDi GUO WenJie LIU Xu LIU Jia GAO Jing CHEN QiuYun BAI YiDong 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,10:1
15CmRAV1 shows differential expression in two melon (Cucumis melo L.) cultivars and enhances salt tolerance in transgenic Arabidopsis plants显示文摘The growth and development of melon(Cucumis melo L.)are severely affected by soil salinization in many areas of the world,but the understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying salt tolerance in melon remains limited.In this study,a new RAV(related to ABI3/VP1)gene,CmRAV1,was identified in melon.Protein structure homology analysis revealed that CmRAV1 contains an AP2 domain and a B3 domain,and subcellular localization assay revealed that CmRAV1 is localized in the nucleus.The transcript level of CmRAV1 was closely correlated with NaCl treatment,and the expression pattern of CmRAV1 differed between two cultivars(salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive cultivars)under NaCl treatment.In addition,yeasts transformed with CmRAV1 showed notably improved growth on medium containing 200 mM NaCl compared with wild-type ones.The overexpression of CmRAV1 in transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana resulted in enhanced salt tolerance at the seed germination and seedling growth stages.This study demonstrated that the expression of CmRAV1 was associated with saline stress and can potentially be utilized to improve plant salt tolerance.Lina Zhao Furong Zhang Bin Liu Senlin Yang Xue Xiong Danial Hassani Yidong Zhang 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,11:1
16Quasi-4-dimension ionospheric modeling and its application in PPP显示文摘Ionospheric delay modeling is not only important for Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)based space weather study and monitoring,but also an efficient tool to speed up the convergence time of Precise Point Positioning(PPP).In this study,a novel model,denoted as Quasi-4-Dimension Ionospheric Modeling(Q4DIM)is proposed for wide-area high precision ionospheric delay correction.In Q4DIM,the Line Of Sight(LOS)ionospheric delays from a GNSS station network are divided into different clusters according to not only the location of latitude and longitude,but also satellite elevation and azimuth.Both Global Ionosphere Map(GIM)and Slant Ionospheric Delay(SID)models that are traditionally used for wide-area and regional ionospheric delay modeling,respectively,can be regarded as the special cases of Q4DIM by defining proper grids in latitude,longitude,elevation,and azimuth.Thus,Q4DIM presents a resilient model that is capable for both wide-area coverage and high precision.Four different sets of clusters are defined to illustrate the properties of Q4DIM based on 200 EUREF Permanent Network(EPN)stations.The results indicate that Q4DIM is compatible with the GIM products.Moreover,it is proved that by inducting the elevation and azimuth angle dependent residuals,the precision of the 2-dimensional GIM-like model,i.e.,Q4DIM 2-Dimensional(Q4DIM-2D),is improved from around 1.5 Total Electron Content Units(TECU)to better than 0.5 TECU.In addition,treating Q4DIM as a 4-dimensional matrix in latitude,longitude,elevation,and azimuth,whose sparsity is less than 5%,can result in its feasibility in a bandwidth-sensitive applications,e.g.,satellite-based Precising Point Positioning Real-Time Kinematic(PPP-RTK)service.Finally,the advantages of Q4DIM in PPP over the 2-dimensional models are demonstrated with the one month's data from 30 EPN stations in both high solar activity year 2014 and low solar activity year 2020.Shengfeng Gu Chengkun Gan Chengpeng He Haixia Lyu Manuel Hernandez-Pajares Yidong Lou Jianghui Geng Qile Zhao 2022Satellite Navigation2022,3,3:1
17Characterization of extracellular polymeric substances in the biofilms of typical bacteria by the sulfur K-edge XANES spectroscopy显示文摘A combined approach of physicochemical extraction and sulfur K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES) spectroscopy was applied to characterize the extracellular polymeric substances(EPS) of typical bacterial biofilms in this study. Physicochemical analysis showed variation of the contents of DNA,polysaccharide and protein in different fractions of EPS in different mediums. The sulfur K-edge XANES analysis yielded a variety of spectra.Spectral fitting of the XANES spectra utilizing a large set of model compounds showed that there was more reduced sulfur in both LB-EPS(loosely bound EPS) and TB-EPS(tightly bound EPS) of all the biofilms in LB medium than in R2 A medium. More oxidized sulfur was identified in LB-EPS than that in TB-EPS,suggesting different niches and physiological heterogeneity in the biofilms. 18Synergistic roles of LAX1 and FZP in the development of rice sterile lemma显示文摘Rice florets are subtended by two sterile lemmas,whose origin and biological functions have not been studied extensively.Here we demonstrate that two putative transcription factors,LAX PANICLE1(LAX1)and FRIZZY PANICLE(FZP),synergistically control the development of sterile lemmas.Both LAX1 and FZP are previously known for their roles in panicle and floret development.Disruption of either LAX1 or FZP greatly reduces the number of floret development.We generated new lax1 mutants(lax1-c)using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology.In addition to the expected lax panicle phenotypes,we noticed that a significant number of spikelets of lax1-c developed elongated sterile lemmas.Moreover,our characterization of lax1-RNAi plants also revealed sterile lemma phenotypes similar to lax1-c mutants.We isolated a weak allele of fzp(fzp-14)in a genetic screen for lax1–1 enhancers.The fzp-14 lax1–1 double mutants completely eliminated flower development.Interestingly,the isolated fzp-14 produced spikelets with elongated sterile lemmas.Furthermore,fzp-14 was haploid-insufficient in the lax1–1 background whereas fzp-14 heterozygous plants were indistinguishable from wild type plants.The lax1–1 fzp-14+/−also developed elongated sterile lemma as observed in lax1-c,lax1-RNAi,and fzp-14,suggesting that LAX1 and FZP synergistically control sterile lemma development.Yidong Wang Shanshan Wei Yubing He Lang Yan Rongchen Wang Yunde Zhao 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,1:1
19Experimental Investigation on Flow Pattern and Bubble Behavior during Subcooled Flow Boiling of R1233zd(E)in Parallel Channels显示文摘In this study,the flow pattern and bubble behavior of R1233zd(E)during subcooled flow boiling in parallel channels are experimentally investigated with visualization and thermal measurement.The test section is composed of 21 rectangular mini channels with the hydraulic diameter of 1.5 mm and the length of 140 mm.Bubbly flow,slug flow,churn flow and wavy-annular flow occur in sequence with the increase of vapor quality,while transient flow pattern transition process involving multiple flow patterns are also captured.The distribution of flow pattern is non-synchronized and axial-asymmetric,with earlier flow pattern transitions observed in peripheral channels away from the center axis.The initial nucleate site in each channel also show a random and axial-asymmetric distribution,while faster bubble growth can be noted in some channel under the comprehensive effects of liquid evaporation and bubble coalescence.The variation of heat transfer coefficient is correspondence to the flow pattern transition,showing different trends along the flow direction.The increase of mass flux can lead to delayed flow pattern transition and variation of heat transfer coefficient.In addition,higher heat transfer coefficient can be noted in channels away from the center axis.FANG Yidong ZHANG Zhao XU Dan WANG Yuchen YANG Huinan HUANG Yuqi 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,6:0
