| 1 | Hepatic encephalopathy complicated with hyponatremia and acid-base disturbance and its prognosis显示文摘Objective:To improve the diagnosis and therapeutic effect of occurrence and development of hyponatremia and disorder of acid-base balance among patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE) by elucidating the regularity and mechanism,as well as its influence on prognosis.Methods:327 HE patients admitted to our hospital from January 1990 to June 2010 were enrolled.Meanwhile 316 patients hospitalized in the medical department of the same hospital were chosen as the control group.Patients in both groups were given the same methods to measure arterial blood gas parameters(pH value,PaCO2,[HCO3-],TCO2,BE and SaO2),blood biochemistry([Na+],[K+],[Cl-]),liver function, kidney function and blood glucose, serum sodium, and thereupon tocalculate the anion gap(AG) and the potential [HCO3-],and acid-base balance disorder. Results:Among the 327 HE patients, hyponatremia was found in 188 cases(57.4%),of whom 132 patients died(70.2%).While among the 316 patients in control group,68 presented with hyponatremia(21.5%),and 19 died(27.9%).The incidence and mortality were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.001).All the 327 patients presented with different degrees of acid-base balance disorder and 178 died(54.4%),in whom 164(50.2%) belonged to simple acid-base balance disorder and 74(45.1%) died,136(41.6%) were dual acid-base balance disorder and 80(58.8%) died,27(8.2%) were triple acid-base disturbance and 24(88.9%) died.Whereas in the control group only 83 patients(26.2%) were recognized as simple and dual acid-base balance disorder, and 18(21.7%) died. There was higher incidence of acid-base balance disorder and mortality rate in HE group than control one(P<0.001).Conclusion:Hyponatremia is valuable to judge HE patients' prognosis. The key parameters in the judgment and evaluation on acid-base balance disorder among HE patients are the change of pH values and serum electrolyte values. When pH value ≤ 7.30 or > 7.55,it generally suggests a poor prognosis. | Ren Chengshan Wang Lei Zhao Xiaoyan Yang Shiming Zhang Yanqi Wang Xiwen Bo Jianying Zhang Pengbin Guo Hong Ling Xianlong Li Yihui Da Siping Xie Xia Ren Wei Li Chunhua Qian Guisheng | 2012 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2012,27,3: | 3 |
| 2 | An analytical approach to reconstruction of axisymmetric defects in pipelines using T(0,1)guided waves显示文摘Torsional guided waves have been widely utilized to inspect the surface corrosion in pipelines due to their simple displacement behaviors and the ability of longrange transmission.Especially, the torsional mode T(0,1),which is the first order of torsional guided waves, plays the irreplaceable position and role, mainly because of its non-dispersion characteristic property. However, one of the most pressing challenges faced in modern quality inspection is to detect the surface defects in pipelines with a high level of accuracy.Taking into account this situation,a quantitative reconstruction method using the torsional guided wave T(0,1)is proposed in this paper. The methodology for defect reconstruction consists of three steps.First, the reflection coefficients of the guided wave T(0,1)scattered by different sizes of axisymmetric defects are calculated using the developed hybrid finite element method(HFEM).Then, applying the boundary integral equation(BIE)and Born approximation, the Fourier transform of the surface defect profile can be analytically derived as the correlative product of reflection coefficients of the torsional guided wave T(0,1)and the fundamental solution of the intact pipeline in the frequency domain. Finally, reconstruction of defects is precisely performed by the inverse Fourier transform of the product in the frequency domain.Numerical experiments show that the proposed approach is suitable for the detection of surface defects with arbitrary shapes.Meanwhile, the effects of the depth and width of surface defects on the accuracy of defect reconstruction are investigated. It is noted that the reconstructive error is less than 10%,providing that the defect depth is no more than one half of the pipe thickness. | Yihui DA Bin WANG D.Z.LIU Zhenghua QIAN | 2020 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,10: | 1 |

| 4 | A More Accurate Reconstruction Method for Detecting Large-Depth Defects in Plates Using SH Guided Waves显示文摘The inspection of thickness thinning defects and corrosion defects is greatly significant for the health prediction of plate structures. The main aim of this research is to propose a novel and effective approach to achieve the accurate and rapid detection of arbitrary defects using shear horizontal(SH)guided waves, particularly for large-depth and complex defects. The proposed approach combines the quantitative detection of Fourier transform with a reference model-based strategy to improve the accuracy of large-depth defect detection.Since the shallow defect profile is theoretically constructed by inverse Fourier transform of the product of reflection coefficients and integral coefficients of reference models, the unknown large-depth defect can be initially assessed using the relevant information from a predefined reference model.By iteratively updating the integral coefficients of reference models, the accuracy of reconstruction of large-depth defects is much improved. To achieve the converged defect profile,a termination criterion, the root mean square error,is applied to guarantee the construction of defects with a high level of accuracy. Moreover, the hybrid finite element method is used to simulate the propagation of SH guided waves in plates for calculating the reflection coefficients of plates with defects. Finally,to demonstrate the capability of the developed reconstruction method for defect detection in terms of accuracy and efficiency, three types of large-depth defect profiles,i.e.,a rectangular flaw,a double-rectangular flaw and a complex flaw, are examined. Results show that the discrepancy between the predicted defect profile and the real one is quite small, even in the largest-depth defect case where the defect depth is equal to 0.733 times the plate thickness, the minimal difference is observed. It is noted that the fast convergence of the proposed approach can be achieved by no more than ten updates for the worst case. | Yihui Da Qi Li Bin Wang Dianzi Liu Zhenghua Qian | 2021 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2021,34,2: | 0 |
