2Design and indoor simulated experiment of pneumatic rice seed metering device显示文摘In order to meet the agronomy demand for hybrid rice direct seeding,a novel precise pneumatic rice seed metering device was designed with groups of sucking holes plate,by which 3-4 seeds could be synchronously sucked and synchronously dropped into the paddy field.The plate was divided into five sections:seed sucking,seed clearing,seed carrying,seed dropping,and blank sections.The seeds were sucked in sucking section by the vacuum,carried and rotated to the dropping section with the plate,blown away in dropping section by the positive pressure air,and thrown into the dropping tube.The influences of the hole diameter,vacuum degree,and clear-up equipment on precision of metering device were discussed.Experiments were conducted to investigate the seeding precision and simulate the field emergence rates on the indoor seeding test-bed.The subjects were pregnant Indic hybrid Peizataifeng under two kinds of moisture content(23.43%and 26.07%).Other experiment conditions included the vacuum degree of 2.60 kPa,the rotation speed of seed sucking plate of 30 r/min,three sucking holes with a diameter of 1.6 mm,and the seed layer thickness of 25 mm.The seeding results showed that,in condition of no more than two seeds per hill,the emergence probabilities under the two moisture contents were 11.82%and 11.95%,respectively,and in condition of 3-4 seeds per hill,the results were 64.81%and 65.84%,respectively.With 2-5 seeds per hill,the results were 92.08%and 92.60%,respectively.If the emergence probability was 80%,under the two moisture contents,the no seed per hill probabilities were 1.33%and 0.80%respectively;the probabilities with 3-4 seeds per hill were 56.13%and 56.40%respectively;the probabilities with 5 or more seeds per hill were 10.67%and 10.13%respectively;the probabilities with 2-5 seeds per hill were 87.60%and 88.13%respectively.The results showed the simulated experiment was an efficient and economic method to assess the capability of pneumatic rice seed drilling metering device,and the precise pneumatic rice seed drilling metering device had a good prospect in practical application.Zhang Guozhong Zang Ying Luo Xiwen Wang Zaiman Zhang Qiang Zhang Shasha 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4:19
3Complete chloroplast genome sequence of Magnolia grandiflora and comparative analysis with related species显示文摘Magnolia grandiflora is an important medicinal,ornamental and horticultural plant species.The chloroplast(cp) genome of M.grandiflora was sequenced using a 454 sequencing platform and the genome structure was compared with other related species.The complete cp genome of M.grandiflora was 159623 bp in length and contained a pair of inverted repeats(IR) of 26563 bp separated by large and small single copy(LSC,SSC) regions of 87757 and 18740 bp,respectively.A total of 129 genes were successfully annotated,18 of which included introns.The identity,number and GC content of M.grandiflora cp genes were similar to those of other Magnoliaceae species genomes.Analysis revealed 218 simple sequence repeat(SSR) loci,most composed of A or T,contributing to a bias in base composition.The types and abundances of repeat units in Magnoliaceae species were relatively conserved and these loci will be useful for developing M.grandiflora cp genome vectors.In addition,results indicated that the cp genome size in Magnoliaceae species and the position of the IR border were closely related to the length of the ycf1 gene.Phylogenetic analyses based on 66 shared genes from 30 species using maximum parsimony(MP) and maximum likelihood(ML) methods provided strong support for the phylogenetic position of Magnolia.The availability of the complete cp genome sequence of M.grandiflora provides valuable information for breeding of desirable varieties,cp genetic engineering,developing useful molecular markers and phylogenetic analyses in Magnoliaceae.LI XiWen GAO HuanHuan WANG YiTao SONG JingYuan HENRY Robert WU HeZhen HU ZhiGang YAO Hui LUO HongMei LUO Kun PAN HongLin CHEN ShiLin 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,2:17
4Characteristics and recent trends of sulfur dioxide at urban,rural,and background sites in North China:Effectiveness of control measures显示文摘SO 2 measurements made in recent years at sites in Beijing and its surrounding areas are performed to study the variations and trends of surface SO 2 at different types of sites in Northern China.The overall average concentrations of SO 2 are (16.8±13.1) ppb,(14.8±9.4) ppb,and (7.5±4.0) ppb at China Meteorological Administration (CMA,Beijing urban area),Gucheng (GCH,relatively polluted rural area,110 km to the southwest of Beijing urban area),and Shangdianzi (SDZ,clean background area,100 km to the northeast of Beijing urban area),respectively.The SO 2 levels in winter (heating season) are 4-6 folds higher than those in summer.There are highly significant correlations among the daily means of SO 2 at different sites,indicating regional characteristics of SO 2 pollution.Diurnal patterns of surface SO 2 at all sites have a common feature with a daytime peak,which is probably caused by the downward mixing and/or the advection transport of SO 2 -richer air over the North China Plain.The concentrations of SO 2 at CMA and GCH show highly significant downward trends (-4.4 ppb/yr for CMA and -2.4 ppb/yr for GCH),while a less significant trend (-0.3 ppb/yr) is identified in the data from SDZ,reflecting the character of SDZ as a regional atmospheric background site in North China.The SO 2 concentrations of all three sites show a significant decrease from period before to after the control measures for the 2008 Olympic Games,suggesting that the SO 2 pollution control has long-term effectiveness and benefits.In the post-Olympics period,the mean concentrations of SO 2 at CMA,GCH,and SDZ are (14.3±11.0) ppb,(12.1±7.7) ppb,and (7.5±4.0) ppb,respectively,with reductions of 26%,36%,and 13%,respectively,compared to the levels before.Detailed analysis shows that the differences of temperature,relative humidity,wind speed,and wind direction were not the dominant factors for the significant differences of SO 2 between the pre-Olympics and post-Olympics periods.By extracting the data being more representative of local or regional characteristics,a reduction of up to 40% for SO 2 in polluted areas and a reduction of 20% for regional SO 2 are obtained for the effect of control measures implemented for the Olympic Games.Weili Lin Xiaobin XU Zhiqiang Ma Huarong Zhao Xiwen Liu Ying Wang 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,1:15
5Kinetics of the accumulation of group 2 innate lymphoid cells in IL-33-induced and IL-25-induced murine models of asthma:a potential role for the chemokine CXCL16显示文摘ILC2s are implicated in asthma pathogenesis, but little is known about the mechanisms underlying their accumulation in airways.We investigated the time course of ILC2 accumulation in different tissues in murine models of asthma induced by a serial per-nasalchallenge with ovalbumin (OVA), house dust mice (HDM), IL-25 and IL-33 and explored the potential roles of ILC2-attractingchemokines in this phenomenon. Flow cytometry was used to enumerate ILC2s at various time points. The effects of cytokines andchemokines on ILC2 migration were measured in vitro using a chemotaxis assay and in vivo using small animal imaging. Comparedwith saline and OVA challenge, both IL-25 and IL-33 challenge alone induced significant accumulation of ILC2s in the mediastinallymph nodes, lung tissue and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of challenged animals, but with a distinct potency and kinetics. In vitro,IL-33 and CXCL16, but not IL-25 or CCL25, directly induced ILC2 migration. Small animal in vivo imaging further confirmed that asingle intranasal provocation with IL-33 or CXCL16 was sufficient to induce the accumulation of ILC2s in the lungs followinginjection via the tail vein. Moreover, IL-33-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38, Akt, JNK and NF-κB, whileCXCL16-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38 and Akt. These data support the hypothesis that epitheliumderived IL-25 and IL-33 induce lung accumulation of ILC2s, while IL-33 exerts a direct chemotactic effect in this process. 6Analysis of the severe group dust storms in eastern part of Northwest China显示文摘Based on the available original dust storm records from 60 meteorological stations, we discussed the identification standard of severe dust storms at a single station and constructed a quite complete time series of severe group dust storms in the eastern part of Northwest China in 1954-2001.The result shows that there were 99 severe group dust storms in this region in recent 48 years. The spatial distribution indicates that the Alax Plateau, most parts of the Ordos Plateau and most parts of the Hexi Corridor are the main areas influenced by severe group dust storms. In addition, the seasonand the month with the most frequent severe group dust storms are spring and April, accounting for 78.8% and 41.4% of the total events respectively. During the past 48 years the lowest rate of severe group dust storms occurred in the 1990s. Compared with the other 4 decades, on the average, the duration and the affected area of severe group dust storms are relatively short and small during the 1990s. 7General structure design and field experiment of pneumatic rice direct-seeder显示文摘In order to meet the requirement of field direct seeding for super hybrid rice:1-3 seeds per hill,a pneumatic rice direct-seeder with six seeding metering devices was designed.Transmission system of pneumatic rice direct-seeder and seed metering device were analyzed in this study.And the pipeline structure and vortex pump were designed and selected.The pressure distribution of the pipeline was tested.The pressure value of each sub-pipeline under the conditions of different main pipeline pressure value was obtained and the reasons for pressure loss were analyzed.The results showed that the variation coefficient between sub-pipelines was less than 5%.The pipeline pressure could be evenly distributed.Further,the field experiments were carried out on super hybrid rice Peizataifeng using two-factor testing,by which the effects of different negative pressure and different forward speed(namely,rotational speed of suction plate)for seeding precision were studied.It found that:(1)the optimal negative pressure was 2 kPa;(2)under the optimal negative pressure,the probabilities of 1-3 seeds per hill for the direct-seeder were 93.41%,95.47%and 97.50%,respectively,when the forward speed of the direct-seeded was high,medium and low speed;(3)the probability of empty hole was less than 2%,which satisfied the field direct seeding requirements of super hybrid rice.Additionally,hill spacing was measured,and the factors affecting the hill spacing were analyzed.The results showed that the fluctuation of hill spacing in the small range will not affect the seeding effect.In this study,a new type of pneumatic rice direct-seeder was designed.The main working components were tested and analyzed.The best parameters of field work were obtained.It provides the basis for the field application of the pneumatic rice precision seeder.Xing He Wang Zaiman Luo Xiwen Cao Xiaoman Liu Chunbo Zang Ying 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,6:10
8Altered Neuronal Activity in the Central Nucleus of the Amygdala Induced by Restraint Water-Immersion Stress in Rats显示文摘Restraint water-immersion stress(RWIS), a compound stress model, has been widely used to induce acute gastric ulceration in rats. A wealth of evidence suggests that the central nucleus of the amygdala(CEA) is a focal region for mediating the biological response to stress. Different stressors induce distinct alterations of neuronal activity in the CEA; however, few studies have reported the characteristics of CEA neuronal activity induced by RWIS. Therefore, we explored this issue using immunohistochemistry and in vivo extracellular single-unit recording. Our results showed that RWIS and restraint stress(RS) differentially changed the c-Fos expression and firing properties of neurons in the medial CEA. In addition,RWIS, but not RS, induced the activation of corticotropinreleasing hormone neurons in the CEA. 9Integrated sensor system for monitoring rice growth conditions based on unmanned ground vehicle system显示文摘Ground-based platform systems provide a good tool for monitoring and managing crop conditions in precision agriculture applications and have been widely used for monitoring crop conditions.To develop an unmanned ground vehicle system(UGVS)based multi-sensors and test the feasibility of this system for monitoring rice conditions,an UGVS was developed to collect real-time rice condition information including NDVI values,reflectance measurements and crop canopy temperature in this study.Major components of the integrated system are GreenSeeker R100 system,hyper-spectroradiometer and infrared temperature sensor.The leaf area index(LAI)was measured by the CGMD302 Spectrometer.The Independent Samples T-Test method and the one way ANOVA method were used to determine the best spectral indices and analyze the relationship between the vegetation indices and rice LAI.It was found that the two best spectral indices for estimating LAI were NDVI(860 nm and 750 nm)with the correlation coefficient(R^(2))at 0.745 and RVI(853 nm and 751 nm)with the R^(2)at 0.724.The results show the UGVS can support multi-source information acquisition and is useful for crop management and precision agriculture applications.Wang Pei Yubin Lan Luo Xiwen Zhou Zhiyan Zhigang Wang Yonghui Wang 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,2:6

11Review of precision rice hill-drop drilling technology and machine for paddy显示文摘Mechanized rice direct seeding is a cost-effective and efficient approach for rice cultivation.Recently,the use of rice direct seeding has been increasing rapidly owing to rural labour shortages and continuous increases in agricultural production costs.This article reviews the research and application progress of mechanized rice direct seeding including direct seeding technologies,precision rice seeding,precision rice seed-metering devices,key supporting agronomy technologies for mechanized rice direct seeding.South China Agricultural University developed precision rice hill-drop drilling(PRHDD)with synchronous furrowing and ridging technology and series machines for paddy that affords remarkable advantages in terms of saving time and labour,higher yield,and higher efficiency.In this approach,pre-germinated seeds are uniformly hill-dropped in the expected positions in puddled soil.It significantly improved the crop growth population and effectively solved the problems of high frequency of disease and pests caused by the irregular distribution of rice seeds with manual broadcasting,and generally reduces seed usage and increases the yield.Therefore,this technology has broad application prospects and great potential for promoting the development of mechanized rice direct seeding in China.Minghua Zhang Zaiman Wang Xiwen Luo Ying Zang Wenwu Yang He Xing Baolong Wang Yizheng Dai 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:6

13Effect of Nb^(5+)and Cu^(2+)codoping on thermal properties of Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)ceramic显示文摘In this work,Nb^(5+)and Cu^(2+)were selected to partially substitute Zr4+in Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)for studying the phase structure,microscopic morphology and thermal properties.Gd_(2)(Zr_(1-3 x/2)Nb_(x)CU_(x/2))_(2)O_(7)(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2,0.25)ceramic materials were synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction method.The results show that the Gd_(2)(Zr_(1-3 x/2)Nb_(x)Cu_(x)/2)_(2)O_(7)ceramics present cubic pyrochlore structure with clear grain boundaries and dense cell structure.And the thermal expansion coefficient of Gd_(2)(Zr_(1-3 x/2)Nb_(x)Cu_(x/2))_(2)O_(7)ceramics gradually decreases because of the incorporation of Nb^(5+)and Cu^(2+)into Zr-site in Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7).Meanwhile,its thermal conductivity decreases firstly and then increases with the doping of Nb^(5+)and Cu^(2+),which reaches the lowest value for the composition of Gd_(2)(Zr_(0.85)Nb_(0.1)Cu_(0.05))_(2)O_(7).Tao Jiang Min Xie Lili Guan Xuanli Wang Xiwen Song 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,2:5
14Development and experiment of rice hill-drop drilling machine for dry land based on proportional speed regulation显示文摘Rice precision hill-drop drilling technique in dry land uses fixed hill spacing to achieve orderly planting of crops and to attain good ventilating and day-lighting effects in rice fields.The technique is also beneficial in improving root growth and root structure and in increasing lodging resistance.The high-yield record of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corp’s first division for three consecutive years shows that rice precision hill-drop drilling technique in dry land is one of the important directions to developed rice cultivating mechanization technology.To further improve the quality of rice precision hill-drop drilling machine for dry land,a single profiling,electro-hydraulic proportional real-time adjustment of system was developed according to the agronomic requirements.This machine can simultaneously finish various kinds of seedbed leveling,furrowing and seeding operations,as well as soil covering and pressing.Electro-hydraulic proportional speed regulation makes an AMESim simulation test and analyzes the stability and error of hydraulic adjusting planting distance.Bench testing was carried out on the metering device by simultaneously employing high speed photography technology and analyzing the relationship of the high speed of hill distance and seed charge height.Finally,machine trial was completed.The two-year field experiments of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corp showed that when the machine operation speed is 2.8-3.2 km/h,the sowing depth percent of pass is 75%or higher,the qualified rate of row spacing is 80%or more,the pass rate of row spacing is 90%or higher,and the quantity per hill is 75%or higher.This machine met the various indicators of hill sowing quality requirements.Fu Wei Zhang Zhiyuan Zang Ying Luo Xiwen Zeng Shan Wang Zaiman 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,4:5
15Enhanced cyclability of sulfur cathodes in lithium-sulfur batteries with Na-alginate as a binder显示文摘Na-alginate as a binder in an aqueous solvent has been applied in the preparation of sulfur cathodes for lithium-sulfur batteries.Their electrochemical performances have been investigated by a charge-discharge cycle test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).The EIS tests indicated that the alginate sulfur cathode had lower resistance and better kinetic characteristics than those of the poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) sulfur cathode using PVDF as a binder in a N-methy-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) solvent.The charge-discharge tests showed that the discharge capacity and the capacity retention rate of Na-alginate sulfur cathode were 508 mAh·g-1and 65.4% at the 50th cycle with a current density of 335 mA·g-1.Compared with PVDF sulfur cathode,the alginate sulfur cathode showed a remarkably better cycle performance.These results show that the alginate binder has promising potential for lithium-sulfur battery applications.Weizhai Bao Zhian Zhang Yongqing Gan Xiwen Wang Jie Lia 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5:5
16Design and field evaluation of hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine for hybrid rice显示文摘To meet the requirement of the precision direct-seeding for hybrid rice,this study aimed to design a hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine to sow ten rows at a time.A series of orthogonal experiments were conducted to investigate the performance of the cylinder seeder.The influences of the hole diameters,degree of vacuum,and rotational speed of the cylinder were tested on JPS-12 computer-vision seeding test platform,and the rotational speed of 10-50 r/min,diameter of 135 mm and a negative pressure of 1.0-2.0 kPa were employed.Test results showed that the optimal parameter combination was a vacuum of 2.0 kPa and a hole diameter of 2.0 mm(straight hole),with a rotational speed of 30 r/min.The probability of(2±1)seeds in each hole was 95.3%,while the probability of seed-missing hole was 2.0%.A series of field experiments were then conducted to test the seeder performance according to China National Standard Test Methods,and the field test results showed that for the hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine,the probability of(2±1)seeds in each hill was 91.6%,while the probability of seed-missing hill was 2.7%.The yield data showed that the average effective panicle had 231.25 ears,the average seed setting rate was 9.92%,the average 1000-grain weight was 22.45 g,and the average yield was 7107.9 kg/hm^(2) that was 26.14%higher than the average yield of rice(5634.9 kg/hm^(2))of Guangdong Province in 2016.The results showed that the hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine for hybrid rice could be applied in practical precision rice seeding.Baolong Wang Xiwen Luo Zaiman Wang Le Zheng Minghua Zhang Yizheng Dai He Xing 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,6:4
17Structural design and parameter determination for fluted-roller fertilizer applicator显示文摘The instability of the motion layer of fertilizer particle influences the precision and the accuracy of the amount of fertilizer application in the working process of fluted-roller fertilizer applicator.The characteristics of the motion layer were investigated,and a systematic scheme was proposed for designing the structures of fertilizer-filling cavity,fertilizer-filling surface and fertilizer-delivery cavity.The key parameters of the structure were studied by discrete element method.It was figured out that to ensure the smooth operation of fertilizer applicator,the fertilizer-filling angle was 105°,fertilizer-contact angle should be large than 100°,and the fertilizer-resistance angle should be smaller than 35°.Moreover,the stability of fertilizer motion morphology was investigated to verify the design.The results showed that when the roll rotational speed was larger than 120 deg/s,compared with the conventional design the CV of the amount of fertilizer application was reduced from 1.5%-3.5%to 0.5%-1.0%,and the accuracy of the fertilizer discharge was improved with the square of the correlation coefficient between the amount of fertilizer application and the roll rotational speed was larger than 0.999.It was deduced from the results that the precision and accuracy of the amount of fertilizer application are improved via eliminating the driving layer and enhancing the stable filling and conveying of the forced layer.Shan Zeng Yipeng Tan Yu Wang Xiwen Luo Lamei Yao Dengpan Huang Zewen Mo 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,2:4
18The interaction of CaM7 and CNGC14 regulates root hair growth in Arabidopsis显示文摘Oscillations in cytosolic free calcium determine the polarity of tip-growing root hairs.The Ca2+channel cyclic nucleotide gated channel 14(CNGC14)contributes to the dynamic changes in Ca^2+concentration gradient at the root hair tip.However,the mechanisms that regulate CNGC14 are unknown.In this study,we detected a direct interaction between calmodulin 7(CaM7)and CNGC14 through yeast two-hybrid and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays.We demonstrated that the third EF-hand domain of CaM7 specifically interacts with the cytosolic C-terminal domain of CNGC14.A two-electrode voltage clamp assay showed that CaM7 completely inhibitsCNGC14-mediated Ca2+influx,suggesting that CaM7 neg-atively regulates CNGC14-mediated calcium signaling.Fur-thermore,CaM7 overexpressing lines phenocopy the short root hair phenotype of a cngc14 mutant and this phenotype is insensitive to changes in external Ca^2+concentrations.We,thus,identified CaM7-CNGC14 as a novel interacting module that regulates polar growth in root hairs by con-trolling the tip-focused Ca2+signal.Qudsia Zeb Xiaohan Wang Congcong Hou Xiwen Zhang Mengqi Dong Sisi Zhang Qian Zhang Zhijie Ren Wang Tian Huifen Zhu Legong Li Liangyu Liu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7:3
19Hepatic encephalopathy complicated with hyponatremia and acid-base disturbance and its prognosis显示文摘Objective:To improve the diagnosis and therapeutic effect of occurrence and development of hyponatremia and disorder of acid-base balance among patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE) by elucidating the regularity and mechanism,as well as its influence on prognosis.Methods:327 HE patients admitted to our hospital from January 1990 to June 2010 were enrolled.Meanwhile 316 patients hospitalized in the medical department of the same hospital were chosen as the control group.Patients in both groups were given the same methods to measure arterial blood gas parameters(pH value,PaCO2,[HCO3-],TCO2,BE and SaO2),blood biochemistry([Na+],[K+],[Cl-]),liver function,kidney function and blood glucose,serum sodium,and thereupon tocalculate the anion gap(AG) and the potential [HCO3-],and acid-base balance disorder.Results:Among the 327 HE patients,hyponatremia was found in 188 cases(57.4%),of whom 132 patients died(70.2%).While among the 316 patients in control group,68 presented with hyponatremia(21.5%),and 19 died(27.9%).The incidence and mortality were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.001).All the 327 patients presented with different degrees of acid-base balance disorder and 178 died(54.4%),in whom 164(50.2%) belonged to simple acid-base balance disorder and 74(45.1%) died,136(41.6%) were dual acid-base balance disorder and 80(58.8%) died,27(8.2%) were triple acid-base disturbance and 24(88.9%) died.Whereas in the control group only 83 patients(26.2%) were recognized as simple and dual acid-base balance disorder,and 18(21.7%) died.There was higher incidence of acid-base balance disorder and mortality rate in HE group than control one(P<0.001).Conclusion:Hyponatremia is valuable to judge HE patients' prognosis.The key parameters in the judgment and evaluation on acid-base balance disorder among HE patients are the change of pH values and serum electrolyte values.When pH value ≤ 7.30 or > 7.55,it generally suggests a poor prognosis.Ren Chengshan Wang Lei Zhao Xiaoyan Yang Shiming Zhang Yanqi Wang Xiwen Bo Jianying Zhang Pengbin Guo Hong Ling Xianlong Li Yihui Da Siping Xie Xia Ren Wei Li Chunhua Qian Guisheng 2012Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2012,27,3:3
20Lodging Resistance Related to Root Traits for Mechanized Wet-Seeding of Two Super Rice Cultivars显示文摘Mechanical hill wet-seeded rice machine is beneficial for establishing and growing uniform rows of seedlings.However,there is limited knowledge regarding the effects of the establishment of furrows on growth,lodging and yield,and their relationships with root traits.In this study,field experiments were conducted during 2012 and 2013 using two super rice varieties(hybrid rice Peizataifeng and inbred rice Yuxiangyouzhan)under three furrow establishment treatments(T1,both water and seed furrows were established by the machine;T2,only seed furrows were established by the machine;and T3,neither water nor seed furrows were established by the machine).Lodging index,lodging-related traits,grain yield,above-ground dry weight and root traits were measured.The results showed that the lodging index was significantly affected by the treatments with furrows(T1 and T2).The strongest lodging resistance was detected in the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice with furrow treatment(T1)in both 2012 and 2013.Lodging resistance was strongly related to the breaking resistance.No significant difference was found in grain yield or dry weight of the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice.Therefore,the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice with furrow treatment increased rice lodging resistance,which was related to root traits.ZHANG Minghua MO Zhaowen LIAO Juan PAN Shenggang CHEN Xiongfei ZHENG Le LUO Xiwen WANG Zaiman 2021Rice science2021,28,2:3
