1Molecular characterization and developmental expression patterns of thyroid hormone receptors(TRs) and their responsiveness to TR agonist and antagonist in Rana nigromaculata显示文摘Considering some advantages of Rana nigromaculata as an experimental species, we propose that this species, like Xenopus laevis, could be used to assay thyroid hormone(TH) signaling disrupting actions. To validate the utilizability of R. nigromaculata, we investigated the responsiveness of R. nigromaculata to a TH receptor(TR) agonist(T3) and antagonist(amiodarone) by analyzing expression, based on characterizing TR cDNA and developmental expression patterns. With high levels of identity with the corresponding genes in X. laevis, both TRα and TRβ in R. nigromaculata exhibited roughly similar developmental expression patterns to those of X. laevis, in spite of some species-specific differences. Both TRα and TRβ expression had greater changes in the liver and intestine than in the tail and brain during metamorphosis. T3 exposure for 2 days induced more dramatic increases of TRβ expression in stage 27 than in stage34 tadpoles but not in stage 42 tadpoles, showing that the responsiveness of R. nigromaculata to TH decreased with development and disappeared at the onset of metamorphic climax.Corresponding to greater changes of TRβ expression in the liver and intestine than in the tail and brain during metamorphosis, the liver and intestine had higher responsiveness to exogenous T3 than the tail and brain. Amiodarone inhibited T3-induced TRβ expression. 2Impact of Simultaneous Activities on Frequency Fluctuations:Comprehensive Analyses Based on Real Measurement Data from the FNET/GridEye显示文摘Simultaneous human activities,such as the Super Bowl game,would cause certain impacts on frequency fluctuations in power systems.With the help of FNET/GridEye measurements,this paper aims to give comprehensive analyses on the frequency fluctuations during Super Bowl LIV held on Feb.2,2020,so as to better understand several phenomena caused by simultaneous activities which will help system operations and controls.First,recent developments of the FNET/GridEye are briefly introduced.Second,the frequency fluctuations of the Eastern Interconnection(El),western electricity coordinating council(WECC),and electric reliability council of Texas(ERCOT)power systems during Super Bowl LIV are analyzed.Third,frequency fluctuations of Super Bowl Sunday and ordinary Sundays in 2020 are compared.Finally,the differences of frequency fluctuations among different years during the Super Bowl and their change trends are also given.Furthermore,several possible explanations,including the simultaneity of electricity consumption at the beginning of commercial breaks and the halftime show,the increasing usage of the Internet,and the increasing size of TV screens,are illustrated in detail in this paper.Shengyuan Liu Shutang You Chujie Zeng Yinfeng Zhao Wenxuan Yao Yilu Liu Zhenzhi Lin 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,2:1

5Effects of Different Sterilization Methods on the Product Characteristics of Sichuan Industrialized Huiguorou显示文摘Pasteurization,116 and 121℃sterilization were used in the development of Sichuan Industrial Huiguorou.The sensory,color,texture,lipid oxidation,preservation and flavor substance types and contents of the products were determined,and the effects of different sterilization methods on product characteristics were compared.The results showed that pasteurization was the best way to maintain the edible quality of products,but the storage period of products was very short,so the products could only be quickly distributed and consumed.Sterilization at 116℃and sterilization at 121℃could ensure the shelf life of Huiguorou under non-refrigeration conditions,and effectively solve the problem of long-term storage and transportation of Sichuan meat dishes.However,higher temperature had more or less adverse effect on the flavor of the product,and the product texture was too soft.It suggested that the better way was to sterilize at 116℃,which had less adverse effect on the flavor of the product,and could greatly prolong the non-refrigerated storability of the product,and increase the content of aldehydes and esters,so as to improve the flavor.Lili JI Yinfeng ZHAO Benting HUANG Wenguang FENG Yuhang ZHOU Wei WANG 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,5:0
6Simple and rapid determination of dioxin in fish and sea food using a highly sensitive reporter cell line,CBG 2.8D显示文摘Food,especially animal origin food is the main source of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs),and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls(dl-PCBs)for human exposure.So,a simple,rapid and cheap bioassay method is needed for determination of dioxins in food samples.In this study,we used a new highly sensitive reporter cell line to determine the concentration of dioxins in 33 fish and seafood samples.The samples were extracted by shaking with water/isopropanol(1:1 v/v)and hexane and cleaned-up by a multi layered silica gel column and an alumina column,then analyzed using CBG 2.8 D cell line.We compared the results obtained from the CBG 2.8 D cell assay to those obtained from conventional High-Resolution Gas Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry(HRGC-HRMS)analysis.Good correlations were observed between these two methods(r^2=0.93).While the slope of regression line was 1.76,the bioanalytical equivalent(BEQ)values were 1.76 folds higher than WHO-TEQ values and the conversion coefficient was 0.568(the reciprocal of 1.76).In conclusion,CBG 2.8 D cell assay was an applicable method to determine dioxins levels in fish and sea food samples.Gangdou Ding Lingyun Wang Songyan Zhang Shuaizhang Li Qunhui Xie Li Xu Zhiguang Zhou YinFeng He Bin Zhao 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,2:0
7Implementing hardware primitives based on memristive spatiotemporal variability into cryptography applications显示文摘Implementing hardware primitives into cryptosystem has become a new trend in electronic community.Memristor,with intrinsic stochastic characteristics including the switching voltages,times and energies,as well as the fluctuations of the resistance state over time,could be a naturally good entropy source for cryptographic key generation.In this study,based on kinetic Monte Carlo Simula-tion,multiple Artificial Intelligence techniques,as well as kernel density map and time constant analysis,memristive spatiotemporal variability within graphene based conductive bridging RAM(CBRAM)have been synergistically analyzed to verify the inher-ent randomness of the memristive stochasticity.Moreover,the ran-dom number based on hardware primitives passed the Hamming Distance calculation with high randomness and uniqueness,and has been integrated into a Rivest-Shamir-Adleman(RSA)cryptosystem.The security of the holistic cryptosystem relies both the modular arithmetic algorithm and the intrinsic randomness of the hardware primitive(to be more reliable,the random num-ber could be as large as possible,better larger than 2048 bits as NIST suggested).The spatiotemporal-variability-based random number is highly random,physically unpredictable and machinelearningattack resilient,improving the robustness of the entire cryptosystem.Bo Liu Yudi Zhao YinFeng Chang Han Hsiang Tai Hanyuan Liang Tsung-Cheng Chen Shiwei Feng Tuo-Hung Hou Chao-Sung Lai 2023Chip2023,2,1:0
