Long-term effects of mowing on plasticity and allometry of Leymus chinensis in a temperate semi-arid grassland,China显示文摘Mowing is an important land management practice for natural semi-arid regions.A growing body of empirical evidence shows that different mowing regimes affect the functioning of grassland ecosystems. However, the responses of plant functional traits to long-term mowing and their allometric scaling under long-term mowing are poorly understood. For a better understanding of the effects of mowing on grassland ecosystems,we analyzed the allometric traits of leaves and stems of Leymus chinensis(Trin.) Tzvel.,a dominant grass species in eastern Eurasian temperate grassland,at different mowing intensities(no clipping, clipping once every two years, once a year and twice a year).Experiments were conducted on plots established over a decade ago in a typical steppe of Xilinhot,Inner Mongolia,China. Results showed that most of the functional traits of L.chinensis decreased with the increased mowing intensity. The responses of leaves and stems to long-term mowing were asymmetric,in which leaf traits were more stable than stem traits. Also significant allometric relationships were found among most of the plant functional traits under the four mowing treatments.Sensitive traits of L.chinensis(e.g.leaf length and stem length) were primary indicators associated with aboveground biomass decline under high mowing intensity. In conclusion, the allometric growth of different functional traits of L.chinensis varies with different long-term mowing practices, which is likely to be a strategy used by the plant to adapt to the mowing disturbances.LI Xiliang HOU Xiangyang REN Weibo Taogetao BAOYIN LIU Zhiying Warwick BADGERY LI Yaqiong WU Xinhong XU Huimin 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,6:7

Adjuvant radiotherapy in central hepatocellular carcinoma after narrow-margin hepatectomy:A 10-year real-world evidence显示文摘Objective:A prospective randomized control study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of adjuvant radiotherapy on patients with central hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm). This study presents an updated 10-year real-world evidence to further characterize the role of adjuvant radiotherapy. Methods:Patients with central HCC after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm)were prospectively assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy group and control group.Patients'outcome, adverse events,long-term recurrence and survival rates were investigated. Results:The 1-,5-,and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS)rates were 81.0%,43.9%,and 38.7%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 71.7%,35.8%,and 24.2%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.09).The 1-,5-,and 10-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,54.7%,and 42.8%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 90.2%,55.1%,and 30.0%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.20).The 1-,5-,and 10-year RFS rates for patients with small HCC(≤5 cm)were 91.1%,51.6%,and 48.4%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 80.0%,36.6%,and 26.6%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.03).Landmark analysis demonstrated that patients with small HCC in adjuvant radiotherapy group had a significantly improved OS in second five years after treatment in comparison to patients in control group(log-rank test,P=0.05).Conclusions:Our updated results showed a sustained clinical benefit on reducing recurrence, improving longterm survival for small central HCC by adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin hepatectomy.Long-term survival data also indicated that hepatectomy is an optimal treatment for selected patients with central HCC.Weiqi Rong Weibo Yu Liming Wang Fan Wu Kai Zhang Bo Chen Chengli Miao Liguo Liu Songlin An Changcheng Tao Weihu Wang Jianxiong Wu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,5:6
A New Species of the Genus Tylototriton(Amphibia: Urodela: Salamandridae) from the Southern Dabie Mountains in Anhui Province显示文摘A new species of the genus Tylototriton is described, from Yuexi county,Anhui province,in the south of the Dabie Mountains. It is based on morphological and molecular analysis. The new species is identified as belonging to the Tylototriton asperrimus group and shares a number of similarities with T.wenxianensis,T.broadoridgus and T.dabienicus.The diagnostic characteristics of the new species are as follows: the head length is greater than the width of the head; bony ridges on the head are prominent and necked-in; the distal digit ends, ventral digits, peripheral area of the cloaca and the tail's lower edge are orange. The result from the molecular analysis of the genus Tylototriton(including the type specimen of the new species) based on three mitochondrial genes(ND1,ND2 and CYTB) indicated that the new species was close to T.wenxianensis,T.dabienicus,and T.broadoridgus, but formed an independent clade. This result was consistent with the morphological analysis above, which supports the theory that the population distributed in the south of the Dabie Mountains, namely in from Yuexi county,Anhui province, represented a distinct species,Tylototriton anhuiensis sp.nov.Lifu QIAN Xiaonan SUN Jiaqi LI Weibo GUO Tao PAN Xing KANG Hui WANG Jianping JIANG Jun WU Baowei ZHANG 2017Asian Herpetological Research2017,18,3:6
Elevated plasma levels of selective cytokines in COVID-19 patients reflect viral load and lung injury显示文摘A recent outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan,China was found to be caused by a 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV or SARS-CoV-2 or HCoV-19).We previously reported the clinical features of 12 patients with2019-n Co V infections in Shenzhen,China. To further understand the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and find better ways to monitor and treat the disease caused by 2019-n Co V,we measured the levels of 48 cytokines in the blood plasma of those 12 COVID-19 patients.Thirty-eight out of the 48 measured cytokines in the plasma of 2019-n Co V-infected patients were significantly elevated compared to healthy individuals.Seventeen cytokines were linked to 2019-nCoV loads.Fifteen cytokines, namely M-CSF,IL-10,IFN-α2,IL-17,IL-4,IP-10,IL-7,IL-1 ra,G-CSF,IL-12,IFN-γ,IL-1α,IL-2,HGF and PDGF-BB,were strongly associated with the lung-injury Murray score and could be used to predict the disease severity of2019-n Co V infections by calculating the area under the curve of the receiver-operating characteristics. Our results suggest that 2019-nCoV infections trigger extensive changes in a wide array of cytokines, some of which could be potential biomarkers of disease severity of 2019-n Co V infections. These findings will likely improve our understanding of the immunopathologic mechanisms of this emerging disease. Our results also suggest that modulators of cytokine responses may play a therapeutic role in combating the disease once the functions of these elevated cytokines have been characterized.Yingxia Liu Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Yang Yang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zheng Zhang Yuhao Qin Xiaoyun Li Dandan Zhao Shunwang Li Shuguang Tan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Chenguang Shen Jianming Li Ling Peng Weibo Wu Mengli Cao Li Xing Zhixiang Xu Li Chen Congzhao Zhou William J Liu Lei Liu Chengyu Jiang 2020National Science Review2020,7,6:6
A Nonresonant Hybridized Electromagnetic-Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Irregular and Ultralow Frequency Blue Energy Harvesting显示文摘As a promising renewable energy source,it is a challenging task to obtain blue energy, which is irregular and has an ultralow frequency, due to the limitation of technology.Herein,a nonresonant hybridized electromagnetic-triboelectric nanogenerator was presented to efficiently obtain the ultralow frequency energy. The instrument adopted the flexible pendulum structure with a precise design and combined the working principle of electromagnetism and triboelectricity to realize the all-directional vibration energy acquisition successfully. The results confirmed that the triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)had the potential to deliver the maximum power point of about 470μW while the electromagnetic nanogenerator(EMG)can provide 523 mW at most. The conversion efficiency of energy of the system reached 48.48%,which exhibited a remarkable improvement by about 2.96 times, due to the elastic buffering effect of the TENG with the double helix structure.Furthermore, its ability to collect low frequency wave energy was successfully proven by a buoy in Jialing River. This woke provides an effective candidate to harvest irregular and ultralow frequency blue energy on a large scale.Weibo Xie Lingxiao Gao Lingke Wu Xin Chen Fayang Wang Daqiao Tong Jian Zhang Jianyu Lan Xiaobin He Xiaojing Mu Ya Yang 2021Research2021,,1:4
The role of intraoperative electron radiotherapy in centrally located hepatocellular carcinomas treated with narrow-margin (<1 cm) hepatectomy: a prospective, phase 2 study显示文摘Background: Postoperative radiotherapy (RT) is known to play an important role in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs), but the specific role of intraoperative electron radiotherapy (IOERT) in HCCs remains unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the safety and efficacy of IOERT in centrally located HCCs treated with narrow-margin (<1 cm) hepatectomy. Methods: This was a single-center, phase 2, prospective non-randomized controlled study, including 268 patients with centrally located HCCs who underwent narrow-margin hepatectomy. The patients were subsequently allocated to the IOERT group (n=59) or to the control group (n=65). The primary outcome of the study was to compare recurrence-free survival (RFS) between the IOERT group and the control group, and the secondary outcome was to compare overall survival (OS) rate between the two groups. Results: Of 268 patients enrolled, a total of 124 were included in the study: 59 in IOERT group, 65 in control group. The 1-, 2-, 3-year RFS rates were 79.3%, 62.1% and 45.8% for patients in the IOERT group, and 47.6%, 28.6%, and 22.9% for patients in the control group, respectively (P=0.025). The 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS rates were 100.0%, 94.9%, and 83.7% for patients in the IOERT group, and 92.3%, 87.5%, and 79.4% for patients in the control group, respectively (P=0.314). Subgroup analysis of MVI (+) patients revealed that RFS and OS are significantly prolonged in the IOERT subgroup as compared to the control, whereas there was no significant difference of RFS and OS between the two groups in MVI (−) patients. Conclusions: IOERT for centrally located HCCs with concurrent narrow-margin hepatectomy was feasible and safe. Statistically better RFS rate was observed in the IOERT group compared to the control group. Subgroup analysis revealed that IOERT was more beneficial for postoperative survival of HCC patients with MVI. 8Exome sequencing reveals genetic architecture in patients with isolated or syndromic short stature显示文摘Short stature is among the most common endocrinological disease phenotypes of childhood and may occur as an isolated finding or in conjunction with other clinical manifestations.Although the diagnostic utility of clinical genetic testing in short stature has been implicated, the genetic architecture and the utility of genomic studies such as exome sequencing(ES)in a sizable cohort of patients with short stature have not been investigated systematically. In this study,we recruited 561 individuals with short stature from two centers in China during a 4-year period. We performed ES for all patients and available parents. All patients were retrospectively divided into two groups:an isolated short stature group(group I,n=257)and an apparently syndromic short stature group(group II,n=304).Causal variants were identified in 135 of 561(24.1%)patients.In group I,29 of 257(11.3%)of the patients were solved by variants in 24 genes. In group II,106 of 304(34.9%)patients were solved by variants in 57 genes.Genes involved in fundamental cellularprocess played an important role in the genetic architecture of syndromic short stature.Distinct genetic architectures and pathophysiological processes underlie isolated and syndromic short stature.Xin Fan Sen Zhao Chenxi Yu Di Wu Zihui Yan Lijun Fan Yanning Song Yi Wang Chuan Li Yue Ming Baoheng Gui Yuchen Niu Xiaoxin Li Xinzhuang Yang Shiyu Luo Qiang Zhang Xiuli Zhao Hui Pan Mei Li Weibo Xia Guixing Qiu Pengfei Liu Shuyang Zhang Jianguo Zhang Zhihong Wu James R.Lupski Jennifer E.Posey Shaoke Chen Chunxiu Gong Nan Wu 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,5:2

WHIRLY1 recruits the histone deacetylase HDA15 repressing leaf senescence and flowering in Arabidopsis显示文摘Leaf senescence is controlled by a complex regulatory network in which robustness is ensured by the activity of transcription factors and epigenetic regulators. However, how these coordinate the process of leaf senescence remains poorly understood. We found that WHIRLY1 interacts with Histone Deacetylase(HDA)15,a Reduced Potassium Dependence3(RPD3)/HDA1-type HDA,by using green fluorescent protein-nanotrap-mass spectrum assays. The development-dependent interaction between WHIRLY1 and HDA15 was further confirmed by bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays and co-immunoprecipitation assays in Arabidopsis.Multi-omics genome-wide transcriptome and H3K9 acetylome enrichment analysis showed that HDA15 delays leaf senescence and flowering by repressing the expression of the positive regulators of leaf senescence and flowering, such as LOX2 and LARP1 C,and reducing H3K9 ac levels at these loci;WHIRLY1 and HDA15 co-target to the region near the transcription start site of a subset of nutrient recycling-related genes(e.g.,Glutathione S-transferases 10,non-coding RNA,and photosystem II protein D1 synthesizer attenuator PDIL1-2),as well as WRKY53 and ELF4,and co-repress their expression by removing H3K9 acetylation. Our study revealed a key transcription regulatory node of nutrient recycling and senescence-associated genes involved in leaf senescence and flowering via the recruitment of HDA15 by the single-stranded DNA/RNA-binding protein WHIRLY1.Dongmei Huang Wei Lan Weibo Ma Rulin Huang Wenfang Lin Mengsi Li Chia-Yang Chen Keqiang Wu Ying Miao 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,7:2

Quasi-Solid-State Ion-Conducting Arrays Composite Electrolytes with Fast Ion Transport Vertical-Aligned Interfaces for All-Weather Practical Lithium-Metal Batteries显示文摘The rapid improvement in the gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)with high ionic conductivity brought it closer to practical applications in solid-state Li-metal batteries. The combination of solvent and polymer enables quasi-liquid fast ion transport in the GPEs.However, different ion transport capacity between solvent and polymer will cause local nonuniform Li+distribution, leading to severe dendrite growth. In addition, the poor thermal stability of the solvent also limits the operating-temperature window of the electrolytes.Optimizing the ion transport environment and enhancing the thermal stability are two major challenges that hinder the application of GPEs.Here,a strategy by introducing ion-conducting arrays(ICA)is created by vertical-aligned montmorillonite into GPE.Rapid ion transport on the ICA was demonstrated by 6Li solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance and synchrotron X-ray diffraction, combined with computer simulations to visualize the transport process.Compared with conventional randomly dispersed fillers,ICA provides continuous interfaces to regulate the ion transport environment and enhances the tolerance of GPEs to extreme temperatures.Therefore,GPE/ICA exhibits high room-temperature ionic conductivity(1.08 mS cm^(−1))and long-term stable Li deposition/stripping cycles(>1000 h).As a final proof,Li||GPE/ICA||LiFePO_(4) cells exhibit excellent cycle performance at wide temperature range(from 0 to 60°C),which shows a promising path toward all-weather practical solid-state batteries.Xinyang Li Yong Wang Kai Xi Wei Yu Jie Feng Guoxin Gao Hu Wu Qiu Jiang Amr Abdelkader Weibo Hua Guiming Zhong Shujiang Ding 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:1
PITX2 in pancreatic stellate cells promotes EMT in pancreatic cancer cells via the Wnt/β-catenin pathway显示文摘Since the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer is very poor and there is a lack of treatment methods, this study is performed to investigate the function of PITX2 in pancreatic stellate cells(PSCs)in the progression of pancreatic cancer.Scientific hypotheses are proposed according to bioinformatics analysis and tissue microarray analysis.Stable knockdown of PITX2 in PSCs is achieved through lentiviral infection. The relative expressions of PITX2,α-SMA,vimentin,CTNNB1,AXIN1 and LEF1 are measured in wild-type PSCs and PITX2-knockdown PSCs.Proliferative capacity is measured by EdU assay. After coculture with PSCs,the proliferation, invasion and migration capacity of pancreatic cancer cells are tested.EMT and Wnt/β-catenin downstream genes of pancreatic cancer cells are investigated to reveal the potential mechanism.Bioinformatics analysis reveals that the PITX2 gene is highly expressed in stromal cells in pancreatic cancer and is correlated with squamous-type PDAC.Analysis of PDAC tissue microarray further demonstrates that high PITX2 level in stromal cells is correlated with poor prognosis in PDAC.After stable knockdown of PITX2 in PSCs,the relative protein levels ofα-SMA,vimentin,CTNNB1,AXIN1 and LEF1 are decreased, and the proliferative capacity of PSCs is also decreased. After coculture with PSCs,in which PITX2 expression is downregulated, the proliferation, invasion and migration capacities of pancreatic cancer cells are inhibited. Thus, our results show that PITX2-silenced PSCs inhibit the growth, migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells via reduced EMT and Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Di Wu Weibo Chen Yang Yang Yi Qin Guangchen Zu Yue Zhang Yong An Donglin Sun Xiaowu Xu Xuemin Chen 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,9:1
Laboratory Diagnosis and Monitoring the Viral Shedding of SARS-CoV-2 Infection显示文摘The worldwide epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is ongoing.Rapid and accurate detection of the causative virus SARSCoV-2 is vital for the treatment and control of COVID-19.In this study, the comparative sensitivity of different respiratory specimen types were retrospectively analyzed using 3,552 clinical samples from 410 COVID-19 patients confirmed by Guangdong CDC(Center for Disease Control and Prevention).Except for bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),the sputum possessed the highest positive rate(73.4%–87.5%),followed by nasal swabs(53.1%–85.3%)for both severe and mild cases during the first 14 days after illness onset(d.a.o.).Viral RNA could be detected in all BALF samples collected from the severe group within 14 d.a.o.and lasted up to 46 d.a.o.Moreover,although viral RNA was negative in the upper respiratory samples,it was also positive in BALF samples in most cases from the severe group during treatment.Notably,no viral RNA was detected in BALF samples from the mild group.Despite typical ground-glass opacity observed via computed tomographic scans,no viral RNA was detected in the first three or all upper respiratory tract specimens from some COVID-19 patients. In conclusion, sputum is most sensitive for routine laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19,followed by nasal swabs.Detection of viral RNA in BALF improves diagnostic accuracy in severe COVID-19 patients.Yang Yang Minghui Yang Jing Yuan Fuxiang Wang Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Mingxia Zhang Jinli Wei Ling Peng Gary Wong Haixia Zheng Weibo Wu Chenguang Shen Mingfeng Liao Kai Feng Jianming Li Qianting Yang Juanjuan Zhao Lei Liu Yingxia Liu 2020The Innovation2020,1,3:1
Atypical skeletal manifestations of rickets in a familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia patient显示文摘Familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia(FHH) is caused by inactivating mutations in the calcium-sensing receptor(Ca SR) gene. The loss of function of Ca SR presents with rickets as the predominant skeletal abnormality in mice, but is rarely reported in humans. Here we report a case of a 16-year-old boy with FHH who presented with skeletal manifestations of rickets. To identify the possible pathogenic mutation, the patient was evaluated clinically, biochemically, and radiographically. The patient and his family members were screened for genetic mutations. Physical examination revealed a pigeon breast deformity and X-ray examinations showed epiphyseal broadening, both of which indicate rickets. Biochemical tests also showed increased parathyroid hormone(PTH), 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D, and elevated ionized calcium. Based on these results, a diagnosis of FHH was suspected. Sequence analysis of the patient's Ca SR gene revealed a new missense mutation(c.2279 T4 A) in exon 7, leading to the damaging amino change(p.I760 N) in the mature Ca SR protein, confirming the diagnosis of FHH. Moreover, the skeletal abnormities may be related to but not limited to vitamin D abnormity. Elevated PTH levels and a rapid skeletal growth period in adolescence may have also contributed. Our study revealed that rickets-like features have a tendency to present atypically in FHH patients who have a mild vitamin D deficiency, and that Ca SR mutations may have a partial role in the pathogenesis of skeletal deformities.Bo Wu Ou Wang Yan Jiang Mei Li Xiaoping Xing Weibo Xia 2017Bone Research2017,5,3:1
Nuclear events during conjugation in the poorly studied model ciliate Paramecium jenningsi显示文摘Ciliated protists are highly differentiated unicellular eukaryotes that possess special sexual processes(conjugation and autogamy)that rely on their unique nuclear dimorphism,i.e.,the presence of both a germline micronucleus(MIC)and a somatic macronucleus(MAC)in a single cell. The sexual processes show a high diversity in different ciliates. To better understand the differentiation and evolution of sexual processes in closely related species,we investigated the nuclear events during conjugation in Paramecium jenningsi strain GZ,a poorly studied close relative of the well-known P.aurelia complex. The main results include:(1)the conjugation process takes about 48 h,including three prezygotic divisions(meiosis I,II,and mitosis)and three postzygotic divisions;(2)the MICs are dominated by the“parachute”phase at the prophase of meiosis I;(3)after meiosis II,a variable number of nuclei undergo the third prezygotic division, and the two products near the paroral cone become the genetically identical migratory and stationary pronuclei;(4)the synkaryon divides three times to form the MIC and the MAC anlagen, but only one nuclear product of the first postzygotic division completes the next two divisions;and(5)an extra cell division is required to complete the last step of conjugation, during which two MIC anlagen undergo mitotic division while two MAC anlagen are distributed between the daughter cells without division. The comparison of the nuclear events during conjugation in representatives of the class Oligohymenophorea reveals that usually there are three prezygotic divisions and a variable number of postzygotic divisions. However, the number of selected and differentiated nuclei after each division differs among species. This study provided a new model ciliate for further investigations of nuclear selection and differentiation as well as nuclear morphology during meiosis.Xue Zhang Ruitao Gong Yaohan Jiang Xiaoteng Lu Chenyin Wu Lihan Wang Hongwei Ma Zhengxiang Zhang Weibo Song Khaled A.S.Al-Rasheid Adriana Vallesi Feng Gao 2023Water Biology and Security2023,2,4:0
Phase-pure two-dimensional Fe_(X)GeTe_(2) magnets with near-room-temperature Tc显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)ferromagnets with out-of-plane(OOP)magnetic anisotropy are potential candidates for realizing the next-generation memory devices with ultra-low power consumption and high storage density. However,a scalable approach to synthesize 2D magnets with OOP anisotropy directly on the complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS)compatible substrates has not yet been mainly explored, which hinders the practical application of 2D magnets. This work demonstrates a cascaded space confined chemical vapor deposition(CS-CVD)technique to synthesize 2D FexGeTe_(2) ferromagnets. The weight fraction of iron(Fe)in the precursor controls the phase purity of the as-grown FexGeTe2.As a result,high-quality Fe_(3)GeTe_(2) and Fe_(5)GeTe_(2) flakes have been grown selectively using the CS-CVD technique.Curie temperature(Tc)of the as-grown FexGeTe2 can be up to-280 K,nearly room temperature. The thickness and temperature-dependent magnetic studies on the Fe_(5)GeTe_(2) reveal a 2D Ising to 3D XY behavior. Also,Terahertz spectroscopy experiments on Fe_(5)GeTe_(2) display the highest conductivity among other FexGeTe_(2) 2D magnets. The results of this work indicate a scalable pathway for the direct growth and integration of 2D ternary magnets on CMOS-based substrates to develop spintronic memory devices.Govindan Kutty Rajendran Nair Zhaowei Zhang Fuchen Hou§ Ali Abdelaziem Xiaodong Xu Steve Wu Qing Yang Nan Zhang Weiqi Li Chao Zhu Yao Wu Heng Weiling Lixing Kang Teddy Salim Jiadong Zhou Lin Ke Junhao Lin Xingji Li Weibo Gao Zheng Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:0
Impact of Coal Mining Subsidence on Sandy Geomorphology and Vegetation Habitat in Sandy Area显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the problem of'secondary desertification'caused by coal mining subsidence in sandy area and its control countermeasures.[Methods]The collapse fissure changes, vegetation displacement and tilt, dry sand layer and wind erosion/aeolian deposit rate of the edge, middle and basin of subsidence area were studied in detail.[Results]The width and density of fissures at the edge of subsidence area were the smallest, followed by those in the center, and the width and density of fissures in the basin of the subsidence area were the greatest, while the staggering and surface damage showed the opposite trend. The average displacement length of vegetation in the subsidence area reached 60 cm,the slope was 5.67-28.63,and the maximum wind erosion/aeolian deposit at the trunk roots was-30.52 cm/+25.41 cm,most serious at the edge of subsidence. The changes in displacement length and slope of vegetation were positively linearly correlated with the height and surface damage of collapse fissures. The thickness of dry land layer at the edge of the subsidence area reached 14 cm,4-6 cm greater than that of the control, and the thickness of dry land layer in the middle and basin of the subsidence area was both about 11 cm,1-4 cm greater than that of non-subsidence area. The wind erosion rate at the edge of the subsidence area was up to 83.34%,followed by that(52.06%)in the middle. The aeolian deposit rate in the subsidence basin was 51.84%.[Conclusions]The subsidence edge has the strongest impact on the sandy geomorphology and vegetation habitat, and is a key area for ecological restoration. It is recommended that the coal mining subsidence should be treated in a timely manner to avoid the occurrence of'secondary desertification'.Guoping ZHAO Puxia WU Weibo SHEN 2021Asian Agricultural Research2021,13,5:0
