| 1 | Microsatellite polymorphisms of Sichuan golden monkeys显示文摘Previous study using protein electrophoresis shows no polymorphism in 44 nuclear loci of Sichuan golden monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana), which limits our understandings of its population genetic patterns in the nuclear genome. In order to obtain sufficient information, we scanned 14 microsatellite loci in a sample of 32 individuals from its three major habitats (Minshan, Qinling and Shen-nongjia). A considerable amount of polymorphisms were detected. The average heterozygosities in the local populations were all above 0.5. The differentiations among local populations were significant. There was evidence of geneflow among subpopulations, but geneflow between Qinling and Shennongjia local populations was the weakest. Minshan and Qinling populations might have gone through recent bottlenecks. The estimation of the ratio of the effective population sizes among local populations was close to that from census sizes. Comparisons to available mitochondria data suggested that R. roxellana’s social structures played an important role in shaping its population genetic patterns. | 2 | Initiation, Development and Stabilization of Cavities during Tensile Deformation of Semicrystalline Polymers显示文摘By using polybutene-1 as a typical example, we illustrate the initiation, development and stabilization of cavities in the sample during tensile deformation. Samples with the same crystallinity, long spacing and crystalline lamellar thickness but very different sizes of spherulites were prepared via changing the melt history. Dimension of cavities during stretching the samples was determined by in situ ultra small angle X-ray scattering techniques. It turned out that the size of the cavities was bigger in the sample with larger spherulites than the one with smaller spherulites. | 3 | Revisiting the effects of Co_(2)O_(3)on multiscale defect structures and relevant electrical properties in ZnO varistors显示文摘Element doping is an effective method to improve the performance of ZnO varistors.Previous studies mainly focused on the variation of microstructures and Schottky barriers.In this study,the effects of Co dopant on electrical properties are investigated from the aspect of multiscale defect structures,including intrinsic point defects,the heterogeneous interface of depletion/intergranular layers,and interface states at grain boundaries.Combining with analysis of phase composition and energy dispersive spectroscopy,it is found that Co tends to dissolve into ZnO grains when slightly doped.It substitutes Zn2+with the same valence and affects little on densities of donors.Segregation of Co at grain boundaries would result in the formation of spinel phase Co(Co4/3Sb2/3)O4 and transformation of the intergranular phase fromα-Bi2O3 toδ-Bi2O3.Meanwhile,densities of point defects are indirectly affected by oxygen ambient during sintering,resulting in abnormal variation of grain resistivity.And interface states are enhanced,leading to improved barriers at grain boundaries.Therefore,reduced leakage current,enhanced grain resistivity,and improved non-linear coefficient in Co-doped ZnO varistor blocks are understood from the underlying multiple defect structures.This presents a potential approach to explore short-term performance and long-term stability of ZnO varistors from the aspect of defect responses. | Men Guo Yao Wang Kangning Wu Lei Zhang Xia Zhao Ying Lin Jianying Li | 2020 | High Voltage2020,5,3: | 2 |

| 14 | Advantage of Preserving Bi-orientation Structure of Isotactic Polypropylene through Die Drawing显示文摘The isotactic polypropylene(iPP) usually shows a unique parent-daughter lamellae structure in which the parent and daughter lamellae are against each other with a near perpendicular angle(80° or 100°). Inducing a high fraction of oriented cross-hatched structure in iPP during processing is desirable for designing the bi-oriented iPP products. We processed a commercial iPP via tensile-stretching and die-drawing to evaluate the structural evolution of oriented parent-daughter lamellae. It turned out that the die-drawing process had an advantage in attaining a high fraction of oriented cross-hatched structure of iPP, as compared to the free tensile stretching. Besides, the presence of α-nucleating agents affected the formation of oriented parent-daughter lamellae in the die-drawn samples whereas such influence diminished in the free stretched ones. | 16 | Cost yield of different treatment strategies against Clonorchis sinensis infection显示文摘Background:Clonorchiasis is attributed to the ingestion of raw freshwater fsh harboring Clonorchis sinensis.Morbid‑ity control is targeted through the administration of antihelminthics.This study modelled the cost yield indicated by efectiveness and utility of diferent treatment strategies against clonorchiasis.Methods:About 1000 participants were enrolled from each of 14 counties selected from four provincial-level administrative divisions namely Guangxi,Guangdong,Heilongjiang and Jilin in 2017.Fecal examination was adopted to detect C.sinensis infection,while behavior of ingesting raw freshwater fsh was enquired.Counties were grouped into four categories based on prevalence,namely low prevalence group(<1%),moderate prevalence group(1–9.9%),high prevalence group(10–19.9%)and very high prevalence group(≥20%),while population were divided into three subgroups,namely children aged below 14 years old,adult female and adult male both aged over 14 years old.The average of cost efectiveness indicated by the cost to treat single infected cases with C.sinensis and of cost utility indicated by the cost to avoid per disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)caused by C.sinensis infection was calculated.Comparisons were performed between three treatment schedules,namely individual treatment,massive and selec‑tive chemotherapy,in which diferent endemic levels and populations were considered.Results:In selective chemotherapy strategy,the cost to treat single infected case in very high prevalence group was USD 10.6 in adult male,USD 11.6 in adult female,and USD 13.2 in children.The cost increased followed the decrease of endemic level.In massive chemotherapy strategy,the cost per infected case in very high prevalence group was USD 14.0 in adult male,USD 17.1 in adult female,USD 45.8 in children,which were also increased when the endemic level decreased.In individual treatment strategy,the cost was USD 12.2 in adult male,USD 15.0 in adult female and USD 41.5 in children in very high prevalence group;USD 19.2 in adult male,USD 34.0 in adult female,and USD 90.1 in children in high prevalence group;USD 30.4 in adult male,USD 50.5 in adult female and over USD 100 in children in moderate prevalence group;and over USD 400 in any population in low prevalence group.As to cost utility,the difer‑ences by treatment strategies,populations and endemic levels were similar to those in cost efectiveness.Conclusions:Both cost efectiveness and cost utility indicators are highly impacted by the prevalence and popula‑tion,as well as the treatment schedules.Adults especially men in the areas with a prevalence over 10%should be prioritized,in which selective chemotherapy was best and massive chemotherapy was also cost efective.In moderate endemic areas,the yield is not ideal,but selective chemotherapy for adult male may also be adopted.In low endemic areas,all strategies were high costly and new strategies need to be developed. | Men‑Bao Qian Chang‑Hai Zhou Hui‑Hui Zhu Ying‑Dan Chen Xiao‑Nong Zhou | 2021 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,6: | 0 |
