1Accuracy and spatio-temporal variation of high resolution satellite rainfall estimate over the Ganjiang River Basin显示文摘Based on spatial interpolation rainfall of the ground gauge measurement,we proposed a method to comprehensively evaluate and compare the accuracy of satellite rainfall estimates (SREs) at three spatial scales:0.25°×0.25° grid scale,sub-catchment scale and the whole basin scale.Using this method,we evaluated the accuracy of six high-resolution monthly SREs (TRMM 3B42 V6,3B42RT V6,CMORPH,GSMaP MWR+,GSMaP MVK+ and PERSIANN) and revealed the spatio-temporal variation of the SRE accuracy based on spatial interpolated rainfall from a dense network of 325 gauges during 2003-2009 over the Ganjiang River Basin in the Southeast China.The results showed that ground gauge-calibrated 3B42 had the highest accuracy with slight overestimation,whereas the other five uncalibrated SREs had severe underestimation.The accuracy of the six SREs in wet seasons was remarkably higher than that in the dry seasons.When the time scale was expanded,the accuracy of SRE,particularly 3B42,increased.Furthermore,the accuracy of SREs was relatively low in the western mountains and northern piedmont areas,while it was relatively high in the central and southeastern hills and basins of the Ganjiang River Basin.When the space scale was expanded,the accuracy of the six SREs gradually increased.This study provided an example for of SRE accuracy validation in other regions,and a direct basis for further study of SRE-based hydrological process.HU QingFang YANG DaWen WANG YinTang YANG HanBo 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,4:19
2Coverage of communication-based sensor nodes deployed location and energy efficient clustering algorithm in WSN显示文摘An effective algorithm based on signal coverage of effective communication and local energy-consumption saving strategy is proposed for the application in wireless sensor networks.This algorithm consists of two sub-algorithms.One is the multi-hop partition subspaces clustering algorithm for ensuring local energybalanced consumption ascribed to the deployment from another algorithm of distributed locating deployment based on efficient communication coverage probability(DLD-ECCP).DLD-ECCP makes use of the characteristics of Markov chain and probabilistic optimization to obtain the optimum topology and number of sensor nodes.Through simulation,the relative data demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approaches on saving hardware resources and energy consumption of networks.Xiang Gao Yintang Yang Duan Zhou 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,4:6

5Modeling and understanding of the frequency dependent HPM upset susceptibility of the CMOS inverter显示文摘In this paper, we interpret and, for the first time, model a frequency dependent high-power microwave(HPM) upset susceptibility. We constructed the analytical models of the total amount of injected charges N inj, the excess carrier density distribution in P-Substrate, and the frequency dependent HPM upset susceptibility level. The models are validated by simulated results and experimental data, respectively. Results reveal that N inj is proportional to fαwhile the exponent α should be adjusted to-0.525. The excess carrier density distribution behaves the frequency dependence as well; the dependence is attributable to the fact that the AC field within the CMOS inverter varies too rapidly for the carriers to follow at high frequency. Meanwhile,the HPM upset susceptibility level is a decreasing function of f. The f dependent HPM upset susceptibility model is verified to be reliable and able to quickly estimate the susceptibility level of CMOS inverter considering IC technology, layout parameters, pulse properties, and operating environment simultaneously. Besides, the empirical formula P = A · fαis proposed to provide instant estimation to the HPM upset power threshold. 6A high performance adaptive on-time controlled valley-current-mode DC–DC buck converter显示文摘This paper presents an AOT-controlled(adaptive-on-time,AOT)valley-current-mode buck converter for portable application.The buck converter with synchronous rectifier not only uses valley-current-mode control but also possesses hybridmode control functions at the same time.Due to the presence of the zero-current detection circuit,the converter can switch freely between the two operating modes without the need for an external mode selection circuit,which further reduces the design difficulty and chip area.The converter for the application of high power efficiency and wide current range is used to generate the voltage of 0.6–3.0 V with a battery source of 3.3–5.0 V,while the load current range is 0.05–2 A.The circuit can work in continuous conduction mode with constant frequency in high load current range.In addition,a stable output voltage can be obtained with small voltage ripple.In pace with the load current decreases to a critical value,the converter transforms into the discontinuous conduction mode smoothly.As the switching period increases,the switching loss decreases,which can significantly improve the conversion efficiency.The proposed AOT controlled valley current mode buck converter is integrated with standard 0.18μm process and the simulation results show that the converter provides well-loaded regulations with power efficiency over 95%.When the circuit switches between the two conduction modes drastically,the response time can be controlled within 30μs.The undershoot voltage is controlled within 25 mV under a large current hopping range.Chanrong Jiang Changchun Chai Chenxi Han Yintang Yang 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,6:3
7Strain effects on valence bands of wurtzite ZnO显示文摘Based on the k.p theory of Luttinger-Kohn and Bir-Pikus,analytical E-k solutions for the valence band of strained wurtzite ZnO materials are obtained.Strain effects on valence band edges and hole effective masses in strained wurtzite ZnO materials are also discussed.In comparison with unstrained ZnO materials,apparent movement of valence band edges such as 'light hole band','heavy hole band' and 'crystal splitting band' at Γ point is found in strained wurtzite ZnO materials.Moreover,effective masses of 'light hole band','heavy hole band' and 'crystal splitting band' for strained wurtzite ZnO materials as the function of stress are given.The analytical results can provide a theoretical foundation for the understanding of physics of strained ZnO materials and its applications with the framework for an effective mass theory.QIAO LiPing CHAI ChangChun JIN Zhao YANG YinTang MA ZhenYang 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,9:3
8An Asynchronous Adaptive Priority Round-Robin Arbiter Based on Four-Phase Dual-rail Protocol显示文摘An asynchronous Adaptive priority roundrobin arbiter(APRA) based on four-phase dual-rail protocol is proposed. Combining the advantages of synchronous and asynchronous circuits, it provides the required bandwidth allocation on basis of arbitration fairness and works in synchronous So C. In the Nonidling and nonpreemptive(NINP) model, simulations and verifications are made. The results show that the speed of the proposed arbiter is improved by 18%–50.4% and the dynamic and static power is reduced by 8.4%–46.2% and 81.8%–90.9% respectively compared with the commonly-used Fixed priority(FP),Round-Robin(RR) and Lottery arbiters. The proposed arbiter is better in output bandwidth allocation and it also has advantages in speed and power. 9Privacy Protection Based Access Control Scheme in Cloud-Based Services显示文摘With the rapid development of computer technology, cloud-based services have become a hot topic. They not only provide users with convenience, but also bring many security issues, such as data sharing and privacy issue. In this paper, we present an access control system with privilege separation based on privacy protection(PS-ACS). In the PS-ACS scheme, we divide users into private domain(PRD) and public domain(PUD) logically. In PRD, to achieve read access permission and write access permission, we adopt the Key-Aggregate Encryption(KAE) and the Improved Attribute-based Signature(IABS) respectively. In PUD, we construct a new multi-authority ciphertext policy attribute-based encryption(CP-ABE) scheme with efficient decryption to avoid the issues of single point of failure and complicated key distribution, and design an efficient attribute revocation method for it. 10Secure Authentication Protocol for Mobile Payment显示文摘With the increasing popularity of fintech, i.e., financial technology, the e-commerce market has grown rapidly in the past decade, such that mobile devices enjoy unprecedented popularity and are playing an everincreasing role in e-commerce. This is especially true of mobile payments, which are attracting increasing attention.However, the occurrence of many traditional financial mishaps has exposed the challenges inherent in online authentication technology that is based on traditional modes of realizing the healthy and stable development of mobile payment. In addition, this technology ensures user account security and privacy. In this paper, we propose a Secure Mutual Authentication Protocol(SMAP) based on the Universal 2 nd Factor(U2 F) protocol for mobile payment. To guarantee reliable service, we use an asymmetric cryptosystem for achieving mutual authentication between the server and client, which can resist fake servers and forged terminals. Compared to the modes currently used, the proposed protocol strengthens the security of user account information as well as individual privacy throughout the mobile-payment transaction process. 11Breakdown voltage analysis for the new RESURF AlGaN/GaN HEMTs显示文摘This paper demonstrates that the depletion process for AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility tran-sistors(HEMTs)is different than that for silicon power devices by analyzing active region depletion.Based on the special breakdown principle that occurs in AlGaN/GaN HEMTs,we propose a new reduced surface field AlGaN/GaN HEMT with a double low-density drain(LDD)and a positively charged region near the drain to optimize the surface electric field and increase the breakdown voltage.In this structure,two negative charge regions with different doses are introduced into the polarization AlGaN layer to form a double LDD and decrease the high electric field near the gate by depleting two-dimensional electron gas.A positively charged region is added to the electrode near the drain to decrease the high electric field peak at the drain edge.By applying ISE(integrated systems engineering)simulation software,we verify that the virtual gate effect occurs in the AlGaN/GaN HEMTs.The breakdown voltage is improved from 257 V in the conventional structure to 550 V in the proposed structure.DUAN BaoXing YANG YinTang 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,2:2
12An intelligent partitioning approach of the system-on-chip for flexible and stretchable systems显示文摘In this paper, we propose an intelligent partitioning approach of the system-on-chip(So C) to improve the bendability and stretchability of flexible and stretchable systems. The proposed approach partitions the So C intelligently into clusters of functional modules according to the communication flows and area constraint. Based on the communication volume between clusters, a heuristic algorithm is applied to map these clusters onto the 2 D mesh network-on-chip(No C) for co-optimization of communication energy and delay. Experimental results show that our approach can effectively partition the So C into small ICs of the same size. 13Negative differential resistance in single-walled SiC nanotubes显示文摘A two-probe system was established for a finite (7, 0) silicon carbide (SiC) nanotube coupled to Au (111) surfaces via Au-C bonds. Using the non-equilibrium Green function (NEGF) combined with density functional theory (DFT), the above system was studied for its electronic transport properties. Negative differential resistance (NDR) was observed when the bias voltage was greater than 1.4 V. 14Privacy Protection Smartcard Authentication Scheme in Cloud Computing显示文摘Cloud computing provides users with a great deal of flexibility and convenience. However, cloud computing also brings very serious security problems, especially for enterprise data security stored in the cloud.Once the data is outsourced to a third party, the data privacy has become a ma jor problem, such as user authentication, integrity of data etc. and needs to be addressed very effectively. A mutual authentication scheme based on smartcard for cloud computing is proposed to solve the problem of which the illegal users access the resource of cloud servers and the legal users access the illegal cloud server. The scheme achieves mutual authentication by using hash functions to protect user privacy. 15Effect of dummy vias on interconnect temperature variation显示文摘The number of the dummy via can significantly affect the interconnect average temperature.This paper explores the modeling of the interconnect average temperature in the presence of multiple dummy vias.The proposed model incorporates the multi-via effect into the effective thermal conductivity of the interlayer dielectric (ILD) to obtain accurate results.Using different ILDs,the multi-via effect is analyzed and discussed.Also,the extended applications of the multi-via effect are presented in this paper to obtain the minimum interconnect average temperature increase with a given via separation or number.This study suggests that the multi-via effect should be accounted for in integrated circuits design to optimize the performance and design accuracy of integrated circuits.WANG Zeng DONG Gang YANG YinTang LI JianWei 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,21:1
